(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:6 ============ Mat 26:6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,(KJV) Matthew 26:6 And when Iesus was in Bethania, in the house of Simon the leper,(Geneva) Matthieu 26:6 Comme Jésus était à Béthanie, dans la maison de Simon le lépreux,(FR) וַיְהִי בִּהְיוֹת יֵשׁוּעַ בְּבֵית־עַנְיָה בְּבֵית שִׁמְעוֹן הַמְּצֹרָע׃ ו Matthew Mat 26:6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, at the home of Simon the leper, (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:7 ============ Mat 26:7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.(KJV) Matthew 26:7 There came vnto him a woman, which had a boxe of very costly oyntment, and powred it on his head, as he sate at the table.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:7 une femme s'approcha de lui, tenant un vase d'albâtre, qui renfermait un parfum de grand prix; et, pendant qu'il était à table, elle répandit le parfum sur sa tête.(FR) וַתָּבֹא אֵלָיו אִשָּׁה וּבְיָדָהּ צְלֹחִית שֶׁמֶן יְקַר־עֵרֶךְ מְאֹד וַתִּצֹּק עַל־רֹאשׁוֹ בִּמְסִבּוֹ׃ ז Matthew Mat 26:7 a woman came to Him with an alabaster vial of very costly perfume, and she poured it on His head as He reclined at the table. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:8 ============ Mat 26:8 But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?(KJV) Matthew 26:8 And when his disciples sawe it, they had indignation, saying, What needed this waste?(Geneva) Matthieu 26:8 Les disciples, voyant cela, s'indignèrent, et dirent: A quoi bon cette perte?(FR) וַיִּרְאוּ הַתַּלְמִידִים וַיִּחַר לָהֶם לֵאמֹר עַל־מֶה נִבְלַע הַשֶּׁמֶן הַזֶּה׃ ח Matthew Mat 26:8 But the disciples were indignant when they saw this, and said, "Why this waste? (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:9 ============ Mat 26:9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.(KJV) Matthew 26:9 For this oyntment might haue bene solde for much, and bene giuen to the poore.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:9 On aurait pu vendre ce parfum très cher, et en donner le prix aux pauvres.(FR) הֲלֹא טוֹב הָיָה לְתִתּוֹ בְכֶסֶף רָב וְלַחֲלֹק מִכְרוֹ לָעֲנִיִּים׃ ט Matthew Mat 26:9 For this perfume might have been sold for a high price and the money given to the poor."(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:10 ============ Mat 26:10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.(KJV) Matthew 26:10 And Iesus knowing it, sayde vnto them, Why trouble yee the woman? For shee hath wrought a good woorke vpon me.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:10 Jésus, s'en étant aperçu, leur dit: Pourquoi faites-vous de la peine à cette femme? Elle a fait une bonne action à mon égard;(FR) וַיֵּדַע יֵשׁוּעַ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם לָמָּה־זֶּה תַּלְאוּ אֶת־הָאִשָּׁה הֲלֹא טוֹב גְּמָלָתְנִי׃ י Matthew Mat 26:10 But Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why do you bother the woman? For she has done a good deed to Me. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:11 ============ Mat 26:11 For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.(KJV) Matthew 26:11 For yee haue the poore alwayes with you, but me shall yee not haue alwaies.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:11 car vous avez toujours des pauvres avec vous, mais vous ne m'avez pas toujours.(FR) כִּי אֶת־הָעֲנִיִּים תִּמְצְאוּ לִפְנֵיכֶם תָּמִיד וְאוֹתִי לֹא תִמְצְאוּ תָּמִיד לִפְנֵיכֶם׃ יא Matthew Mat 26:11 For you always have the poor with you; but you do not always have Me. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:12 ============ Mat 26:12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.(KJV) Matthew 26:12 For in that shee powred this oyntment on my bodie, shee did it to burie me.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:12 En répandant ce parfum sur mon corps, elle l'a fait pour ma sépulture.(FR) כִּי בַּאֲשֶׁר יָצְקָה הַשֶּׁמֶן הַזֶּה עַל־גְּוִיָּתִי הֵכִינָה אֹתִי לִקְבֻרָתִי׃ יב Matthew Mat 26:12 For when she poured this perfume on My body, she did it to prepare Me for burial. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:13 ============ Mat 26:13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.(KJV) Matthew 26:13 Verely I say vnto you, wheresoeuer this Gospel shall bee preached throughout all the worlde, there shall also this that shee hath done, be spoken of for a memoriall of her.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:13 Je vous le dis en vérité, partout où cette bonne nouvelle sera prêchée, dans le monde entier, on racontera aussi en mémoire de cette femme ce qu'elle a fait.(FR) אָמֵן אֲנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם בְּכָל־מָקוֹם אֲשֶׁר תִּשָּׁמַע הַבְּשׂוֹרָה הַזֹּאת בְּכָל־הָאָרֶץ יְסֻפַּר גַּם אֲשֶׁר עָשְׂתָה הִיא לָהּ לְזִכָּרוֹן׃ יג Matthew Mat 26:13 Truly I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be spoken of in memory of her." And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.(KJV) Matthew 26:15 And said, What will ye giue me, and I will deliuer him vnto you? And they appoynted vnto him thirtie pieces of siluer.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:15 et dit: Que voulez-vous me donner, et je vous le livrerai? Et ils lui payèrent trente pièces d'argent.(FR) וַיֹּאמֶר מַה־תֹּאמְרוּ לָתֶת־לִי כִּי אַסְגִּיר אֹתוֹ בְּיֶדְכֶם וַיִּשְׁקְלוּ־לוֹ שְׁלֹשִׁים כָּסֶף׃ טו Matthew Mat 26:15 and said, "What are you willing to give me to betray Him to you?" And they weighed out thirty pieces of silver to him. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:16 ============ Mat 26:16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.(KJV) Matthew 26:16 And from that time, he sought opportunitie to betraie him.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:16 Depuis ce moment, il cherchait une occasion favorable pour livrer Jésus.(FR) וּמִן־הָעֵת הַהִיא בִּקֶּשׁ־לוֹ תֹּאֲנָה לְהַסְגִּיר אֹתוֹ׃ טז Matthew Mat 26:16 From then on he began looking for a good opportunity to betray Jesus. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:17 ============ Mat 26:17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?(KJV) Matthew 26:17 Nowe on the first day of the feast of vnleauened bread the disciples came to Iesus, saying vnto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eate the Passeouer?(Geneva) Matthieu 26:17 Le premier jour des pains sans levain, les disciples s'adressèrent à Jésus, pour lui dire: Où veux-tu que nous te préparions le repas de la Pâque?(FR) וְלִפְנֵי הָרִאשׁוֹן לְחַג הַמַּצּוֹת בָּאוּ הַתַּלְמִידִים לִפְנֵי יֵשׁוּעַ לֵאמֹר אֵיפֹה תִרְצֶה כִּי־נָכִין לְךָ לֶאֱכֹל אֶת־הַפָּסַח׃ יז Matthew Mat 26:17 Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?"(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:18 ============ Mat 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.(KJV) Matthew 26:18 And he said, Goe yee into the citie to such a man, and say to him, The master saieth, My time is at hande: I will keepe the Passeouer at thine house with my disciples.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:18 Il répondit: Allez à la ville chez un tel, et vous lui direz: Le maître dit: Mon temps est proche; je ferai chez toi la Pâque avec mes disciples.(FR) וַיֹּאמֶר לְכוּ הָעִירָה לִפְלֹנִי אַלְמֹנִי וְהִגַּדְתֶּם לוֹ כֹּה אָמַר רַבֵּנוּ הֵן עִתִּי בָאָה וְהִנְנִי לָחֹג אֶת־חַג הַפֶּסַח עִם־תַּלְמִידַי בְּבֵיתֶךָ׃ יח Matthew Mat 26:18 And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is near; I am to keep the Passover at your house with My disciples."'"(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:19 ============ Mat 26:19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.(KJV) Matthew 26:19 And the disciples did as Iesus had giuen them charge, and made readie the Passeouer.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:19 Les disciples firent ce que Jésus leur avait ordonné, et ils préparèrent la Pâque.(FR) וַיַּעֲשׂוּ הַתַּלְמִידִים כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה אֹתָם יֵשׁוּעַ וַיָּכִינוּ אֶת־הַפָּסַח׃ יט Matthew Mat 26:19 The disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:21 ============ Mat 26:21 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.(KJV) Matthew 26:21 And as they did eate, he sayde, Verely I say vnto you, that one of you shall betraie me.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:21 Pendant qu'ils mangeaient, il dit: Je vous le dis en vérité, l'un de vous me livrera.(FR) וּבְעוֹד הֵם אֹכְלִים וַיֹּאמַר אָמֵן אֲנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם כִּי־אֶחָד מִכֶּם יַסְגִּיר אֹתִי׃ כא Matthew Mat 26:21 As they were eating, He said, "Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me."(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:22 ============ Mat 26:22 And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?(KJV) Matthew 26:22 And they were exceeding sorowfull, and began euery one of them to say vnto him, Is it I, Master?(Geneva) Matthieu 26:22 Ils furent profondément attristés, et chacun se mit à lui dire: Est-ce moi, Seigneur?(FR) וַיִּתְעַצְּבוּ אֶל־לִבָּם עַד־מְאֹד וַיָּחֵלּוּ לֵאמֹר לוֹ הַאֲנִי הוּא אֲדֹנִי׃ כב Matthew Mat 26:22 Being deeply grieved, they each one began to say to Him, "Surely not I, Lord?"(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:23 ============ Mat 26:23 And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.(KJV) Matthew 26:23 And hee answered and sayde, Hee that dippeth his hande with me in the dish, hee shall betraie me.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:23 Il répondit: Celui qui a mis avec moi la main dans le plat, c'est celui qui me livrera.(FR) וַיַּעַן וַיֹּאמַר הַטֹּבֵל אֶת־יָדוֹ עִמִּי בַּקְּעָרָה הוּא הַמַּסְגִיר אֹתִי׃ כג Matthew Mat 26:23 And He answered, "He who dipped his hand with Me in the bowl is the one who will betray Me. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:24 ============ Mat 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.(KJV) Matthew 26:24 Surely the Sonne of man goeth his way, as it is written of him: but woe be to that man, by whom the Sonne of man is betrayed: it had bene good for that man, if hee had neuer bene borne.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:24 Le Fils de l'homme s'en va, selon ce qui est écrit de lui. Mais malheur à l'homme par qui le Fils de l'homme est livré! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born."(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:25 ============ Mat 26:25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself." (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:26 ============ Mat 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.(KJV) Matthew 26:26 And as they did eate, Iesus tooke the bread, and when he had blessed, he brake it, and gaue it to the disciples, and sayd, Take, eate: this is my bodie.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:26 Pendant qu'ils mangeaient, Jésus prit du pain; et, après avoir rendu grâces, il le rompit, et le donna aux disciples, en disant: Prenez, mangez, ceci est mon corps.(FR) וּבְאָכְלָם וַיִּקַּח יֵשׁוּעַ אֶת־הַלֶּחֶם וַיְבָרֶךְ וַיִּבְצַע וַיִּתֵּן לַתַּלְמִידִים וַיֹּאמַר קְחוּ אִכְלוּ זֶה הוּא בְּשָׂרִי׃ כו Matthew Mat 26:26 While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:27 ============ Mat 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;(KJV) Matthew 26:27 Also he tooke the cuppe, and when he had giuen thankes, he gaue it them, saying, Drinke ye all of it.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:27 Il prit ensuite une coupe; et, après avoir rendu grâces, il la leur donna, en disant: Buvez-en tous;(FR) וַיִּקַּח אֶת־הַכּוֹס וַיְבָרֶךְ וַיִּתֵּן לָהֶם לֵאמֹר שְׁתוּ כֻלְּכֶם מִמֶּנָּה׃ כז Matthew Mat 26:27 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you; (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:28 ============ Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.(KJV) Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the Newe Testament, that is shedde for many, for the remission of sinnes.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:28 car ceci est mon sang, le sang de l'alliance, qui est répandu pour plusieurs, pour la rémission des péchés.(FR) כִּי זֶה הוּא דָמִי דַּם־הַבְּרִית הַחֲדָשָׁה הַשָּׁפוּךְ בְּעַד רַבִּים לִסְלִיחַת חַטֹּאתָם׃ כח Matthew Mat 26:28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. (nasb) ======= Matthew 26:29 ============ Mat 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.(KJV) Matthew 26:29 I say vnto you, that I will not drinke henceforth of this fruit of the vine vntil that day, when I shal drinke it new with you in my Fathers kingdome.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:29 Je vous le dis, je ne boirai plus désormais de ce fruit de la vigne, jusqu'au jour où j'en boirai du nouveau avec vous dans le royaume de mon Père.(FR) וַאֲנִי מַגִּיד לָכֶם כִּי מֵעַתָּה לֹא אֶשְׁתֶּה עוֹד מִפְּרִי הַגֶּפֶן הַזֶּה עַד הַיּוֹם הַהוּא אֲשֶׁר חָדָשׁ אֶשְׁתֵּהוּ עִמָּכֶם בְּמַלְכוּת אָבִי׃ כט Matthew Mat 26:29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."(nasb) ======= Matthew 26:30 ============ Mat 26:30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.(KJV) Matthew 26:30 And when they had sung a Psalme, they went out into the mount of Oliues.(Geneva) Matthieu 26:30 Après avoir chanté les cantiques, ils se rendirent à la montagne des oliviers.(FR) וַיִּקְרְאוּ אֶת־הַהַלֵּל וַיֵּצְאוּ אֶל־הַר הַזֵּיתִים׃ ל Matthew Mat 26:30 After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
