Or can you mark when the deer gives birth?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:2 ============ Job 39:2 "Can you count the months they fulfill, Or do you know the time they give birth?(nasb) Job 39:2 ἠρίθμησας δὲ αὐτῶν μῆνας πλήρεις τοκετοῦ ὠδῖνας δὲ αὐτῶν ἔλυσας (lxx) Job 39:2 Dinumerasti menses conceptus earum, et scisti tempus partus earum?(vulgate) Job 39:2 Hast du gezählt ihre Monden, wann sie voll werden? oder weißt du die Zeit, wann sie gebären?(dhs) Job 39:2 Can you number the months that they fulfill? Or do you know the time when they bear young?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:3 ============ Job 39:3 "They kneel down, they bring forth their young, They get rid of their labor pains.(nasb) Job 39:3 ἐξέθρεψας δὲ αὐτῶν τὰ παιδία ἔξω φόβου ὠδῖνας αὐτῶν ἐξαποστελεῖς (lxx) Job 39:3 Incurvantur ad fœtum, et pariunt, et rugitus emittunt.(vulgate) Job 39:3 Sie beugen sich, lassen los ihre Jungen und werden los ihre Wehen.(dhs) Job 39:3 They bow down, They bring forth their young, They deliver their offspring.(nkjv) ======= Job 39:4 ============ Job 39:4 "Their offspring become strong, they grow up in the open field; They leave and do not return to them.(nasb) Job 39:4 ἀπορρήξουσιν τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν πληθυνθήσονται ἐν γενήματι ἐξελεύσονται καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀνακάμψουσιν αὐτοῖς (lxx) Job 39:4 Separantur filii earum, et pergunt ad pastum: egrediuntur, et non revertuntur ad eas.(vulgate) Job 39:4 Ihre Jungen werden feist und groß im Freien und gehen aus und kommen nicht wieder zu ihnen.(dhs) Job 39:4 Their young ones are healthy, They grow strong with grain; They depart and do not return to them.(nkjv) ======= Job 39:5 ============ Job 39:5 "Who sent out the wild donkey free? Who loosed the bonds of the onager,(nkjv) ======= Job 39:6 ============ Job 39:6 To whom I gave the wilderness for a home And the salt land for his dwelling place?(nasb) Job 39:6 ἐθέμην δὲ τὴν δίαιταν αὐτοῦ ἔρημον καὶ τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτοῦ ἁλμυρίδα (lxx) Job 39:6 cui dedi in solitudine domum, et tabernacula ejus in terra salsuginis.(vulgate) Job 39:6 dem ich die Einöde zum Hause gegeben habe und die Wüste zur Wohnung?(dhs) Job 39:6 Whose home I have made the wilderness, And the barren land his dwelling?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:7 ============ Job 39:7 "He scorns the tumult of the city, The shoutings of the driver he does not hear.(nasb) Job 39:7 καταγελῶν πολυοχλίας πόλεως μέμψιν δὲ φορολόγου οὐκ ἀκούων (lxx) Job 39:7 Contemnit multitudinem civitatis: clamorem exactoris non audit.(vulgate) Job 39:7 Er verlacht das Getümmel der Stadt; das Pochen des Treibers hört er nicht.(dhs) Job 39:7 He scorns the tumult of the city; He does not heed the shouts of the driver.(nkjv) ======= Job 39:8 ============ Job 39:8 "He explores the mountains for his pasture And searches after every green thing.(nasb) Job 39:8 κατασκέψεται ὄρη νομὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ὀπίσω παντὸς χλωροῦ ζητεῖ (lxx) Job 39:8 Circumspicit montes pascuæ suæ, et virentia quæque perquirit.(vulgate) Job 39:8 Er schaut nach den Bergen, da seine Weide ist, und sucht, wo es grün ist.(dhs) Job 39:8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, And he searches after every green thing.(nkjv) ======= Job 39:9 ============ Job 39:9 "Will the wild ox consent to serve you, Or will he spend the night at your manger?(nasb) Job 39:9 βουλήσεται δέ σοι μονόκερως δουλεῦσαι ἢ κοιμηθῆναι ἐπὶ φάτνης σου (lxx) Job 39:9 Numquid volet rhinoceros servire tibi, aut morabitur ad præsepe tuum?(vulgate) Job 39:9 Meinst du das Einhorn werde dir dienen und werde bleiben an deiner Krippe?(dhs) Job 39:9 "Will the wild ox be willing to serve you? Will he bed by your manger?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:10 ============ Job 39:10 "Can you bind the wild ox in a furrow with ropes, Or will he harrow the valleys after you?(nasb) Job 39:10 δήσεις δὲ ἐν ἱμᾶσι ζυγὸν αὐτοῦ ἢ ἑλκύσει σου αὔλακας ἐν πεδίῳ (lxx) Job 39:10 Numquid alligabis rhinocerota ad arandum loro tuo, aut confringet glebas vallium post te?(vulgate) Job 39:10 Kannst du ihm dein Seil anknüpfen, die Furchen zu machen, daß es hinter dir brache in Tälern?(dhs) Job 39:10 Can you bind the wild ox in the furrow with ropes? Or will he plow the valleys behind you?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:11 ============ Job 39:11 "Will you trust him because his strength is great And leave your labor to him?(nasb) Job 39:11 πέποιθας δὲ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ὅτι πολλὴ ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτοῦ ἐπαφήσεις δὲ αὐτῷ τὰ ἔργα σου (lxx) Job 39:11 Numquid fiduciam habebis in magna fortitudine ejus, et derelinques ei labores tuos?(vulgate) Job 39:11 Magst du dich auf das Tier verlassen, daß es so stark ist, und wirst es dir lassen arbeiten?(dhs) Job 39:11 Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:12 ============ Job 39:12 "Will you have faith in him that he will return your grain And gather it from your threshing floor?(nasb) Job 39:12 πιστεύσεις δὲ ὅτι ἀποδώσει σοι τὸν σπόρον εἰσοίσει δέ σου τὸν ἅλωνα (lxx) Job 39:12 Numquid credes illi quod sementem reddat tibi, et aream tuam congreget?(vulgate) Job 39:12 Magst du ihm trauen, daß es deinen Samen dir wiederbringe und in deine Scheune sammle?(dhs) Job 39:12 Will you trust him to bring home your grain, And gather it to your threshing floor?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:13 ============ Job 39:13 "The ostriches' wings flap joyously With the pinion and plumage of love,(nasb) Job 39:13 πτέρυξ τερπομένων νεελασα ἐὰν συλλάβῃ ασιδα καὶ νεσσα (lxx) Job 39:13 Penna struthionis similis est pennis herodii et accipitris.(vulgate) Job 39:13 Der Fittich des Straußes hebt sich fröhlich. Dem frommen Storch gleicht er an Flügeln und Federn.(dhs) Job 39:13 "The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, But are her wings and pinions like the kindly stork's?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:14 ============ Job 39:14 For she abandons her eggs to the earth And warms them in the dust,(nasb) Job 39:14 ὅτι ἀφήσει εἰς γῆν τὰ ᾠὰ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπὶ χοῦν θάλψει (lxx) Job 39:14 Quando derelinquit ova sua in terra, tu forsitan in pulvere calefacies ea?(vulgate) Job 39:14 Doch läßt er seine Eier auf der Erde und läßt sie die heiße Erde ausbrüten.(dhs) Job 39:14 For she leaves her eggs on the ground, And warms them in the dust;(nkjv) ======= Job 39:15 ============ Job 39:15 And she forgets that a foot may crush them, Or that a wild beast may trample them.(nasb) Job 39:15 καὶ ἐπελάθετο ὅτι ποὺς σκορπιεῖ καὶ θηρία ἀγροῦ καταπατήσει (lxx) Job 39:15 Obliviscitur quod pes conculcet ea, aut bestia agri conterat.(vulgate) Job 39:15 Er vergißt, daß sie möchten zertreten werden und ein wildes Tier sie zerbreche.(dhs) Job 39:15 She forgets that a foot may crush them, Or that a wild beast may break them.(nkjv) ======= Job 39:16 ============ Job 39:16 "She treats her young cruelly, as if they were not hers; Though her labor be in vain, she is unconcerned;(nasb) Job 39:16 ἀπεσκλήρυνεν τὰ τέκνα αὐτῆς ὥστε μὴ ἑαυτῇ εἰς κενὸν ἐκοπίασεν ἄνευ φόβου (lxx) Job 39:16 Duratur ad filios suos, quasi non sint sui: frustra laboravit, nullo timore cogente.(vulgate) Job 39:16 Er wird so hart gegen seine Jungen, als wären sie nicht sein, achtet's nicht, daß er umsonst arbeitet.(dhs) Job 39:16 She treats her young harshly, as though they were not hers; Her labor is in vain, without concern,(nkjv) ======= Job 39:17 ============ Job 39:17 Because God has made her forget wisdom, And has not given her a share of understanding.(nasb) Job 39:17 ὅτι κατεσιώπησεν αὐτῇ ὁ θεὸς σοφίαν καὶ οὐκ ἐμέρισεν αὐτῇ ἐν τῇ συνέσει (lxx) Job 39:17 Privavit enim eam Deus sapientia, nec dedit illi intelligentiam.(vulgate) Job 39:17 Denn Gott hat ihm die Weisheit genommen und hat ihm keinen Verstand zugeteilt.(dhs) Job 39:17 Because God deprived her of wisdom, And did not endow her with understanding.(nkjv) ======= Job 39:18 ============ Job 39:18 "When she lifts herself on high, She laughs at the horse and his rider.(nasb) Job 39:18 κατὰ καιρὸν ἐν ὕψει ὑψώσει καταγελάσεται ἵππου καὶ τοῦ ἐπιβάτου αὐτοῦ (lxx) Job 39:18 Cum tempus fuerit, in altum alas erigit: deridet equum et ascensorem ejus.(vulgate) Job 39:18 Zu der Zeit, da er hoch auffährt, verlacht er beide, Roß und Mann.(dhs) Job 39:18 When she lifts herself on high, She scorns the horse and its rider.(nkjv) ======= Job 39:19 ============ Job 39:19 "Do you give the horse his might? Do you clothe his neck with a mane?(nasb) Job 39:19 ἦ σὺ περιέθηκας ἵππῳ δύναμιν ἐνέδυσας δὲ τραχήλῳ αὐτοῦ φόβον (lxx) Job 39:19 Numquid præbebis equo fortitudinem, aut circumdabis collo ejus hinnitum?(vulgate) Job 39:19 Kannst du dem Roß Kräfte geben oder seinen Hals zieren mit seiner Mähne?(dhs) Job 39:19 "Have you given the horse strength? Have you clothed his neck with thunder?(nkjv) ======= Job 39:20 ============ Job 39:20 "Do you make him leap like the locust? His majestic snorting is terrible.(nasb) Job 39:20 περιέθηκας δὲ αὐτῷ πανοπλίαν δόξαν δὲ στηθέων αὐτοῦ τόλμῃ (lxx) Job 39:20 Numquid suscitabis eum quasi locustas? gloria narium ejus terror.(vulgate) Job 39:20 Läßt du es aufspringen wie die Heuschrecken? Schrecklich ist sein prächtiges Schnauben.(dhs) Job 39:20 Can you frighten him like a locust?
