Let him who reproves God answer it."(nasb) Job 40:2 μὴ κρίσιν μετὰ ἱκανοῦ ἐκκλινεῖ ἐλέγχων θεὸν ἀποκριθήσεται αὐτήν (lxx) Job 40:2 [Numquid qui contendit cum Deo, tam facile conquiescit? utique qui arguit Deum, debet respondere ei.](vulgate) Job 40:2 Will mit dem Allmächtigen rechten der Haderer? Wer Gott tadelt, soll's der nicht verantworten?(dhs) Job 40:2 "Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him? I lay my hand on my mouth.(nasb) Job 40:4 τί ἔτι ἐγὼ κρίνομαι νουθετούμενος καὶ ἐλέγχων κύριον ἀκούων τοιαῦτα οὐθὲν ὤν ἐγὼ δὲ τίνα ἀπόκρισιν δῶ πρὸς ταῦτα χεῖρα θήσω ἐπὶ στόματί μου (lxx) Job 40:4 [Qui leviter locutus sum, respondere quid possum? manum meam ponam super os meum.(vulgate) Job 40:4 Siehe, ich bin zu leichtfertig gewesen; was soll ich verantworten? Ich will meine Hand auf meinen Mund legen.(dhs) Job 40:4 "Behold, I am vile; What shall I answer You? I lay my hand over my mouth.(nkjv) ======= Job 40:5 ============ Job 40:5 "Once I have spoken, and I will not answer; Even twice, and I will add nothing more."(nasb) Job 40:5 ἅπαξ λελάληκα ἐπὶ δὲ τῷ δευτέρῳ οὐ προσθήσω (lxx) Job 40:5 Unum locutus sum, quod utinam non dixissem: et alterum, quibus ultra non addam.](vulgate) Job 40:5 Ich habe einmal geredet, und will nicht antworten; zum andernmal will ich's nicht mehr tun.(dhs) Job 40:5 Once I have spoken, but I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further."(nkjv) ======= Job 40:6 ============ Job 40:6 Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm and said,(nasb) Job 40:6 ἔτι δὲ ὑπολαβὼν ὁ κύριος εἶπεν τῷ Ιωβ ἐκ τοῦ νέφους (lxx) Job 40:6 Respondens autem Dominus Job de turbine, dixit:(vulgate) Job 40:6 Und der HERR antwortete Hiob aus dem Wetter und sprach:(dhs) Job 40:6 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:(nkjv) ======= Job 40:7 ============ Job 40:7 "Now gird up your loins like a man; I will ask you, and you instruct Me.(nasb) Job 40:7 μή ἀλλὰ ζῶσαι ὥσπερ ἀνὴρ τὴν ὀσφύν σου ἐρωτήσω δέ σε σὺ δέ μοι ἀποκρίθητι (lxx) Job 40:7 [Accinge sicut vir lumbos tuos: interrogabo te, et indica mihi.(vulgate) Job 40:7 Gürte wie ein Mann deine Lenden; ich will dich fragen, lehre mich!(dhs) Job 40:7 "Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me:(nkjv) ======= Job 40:8 ============ Job 40:8 "Will you really annul My judgment? Will you condemn Me that you may be justified?(nasb) Job 40:8 μὴ ἀποποιοῦ μου τὸ κρίμα οἴει δέ με ἄλλως σοι κεχρηματικέναι ἢ ἵνα ἀναφανῇς δίκαιος (lxx) Job 40:8 Numquid irritum facies judicium meum, et condemnabis me, ut tu justificeris?(vulgate) Job 40:8 Solltest du mein Urteil zunichte machen und mich verdammen, daß du gerecht seist?(dhs) Job 40:8 "Would you indeed annul My judgment? Would you condemn Me that you may be justified?(nkjv) ======= Job 40:9 ============ Job 40:9 "Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?(nasb) Job 40:9 ἦ βραχίων σοί ἐστιν κατὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἢ φωνῇ κατ᾽ αὐτὸν βροντᾷς (lxx) Job 40:9 Et si habes brachium sicut Deus? et si voce simili tonas?(vulgate) Job 40:9 Hast du einen Arm wie Gott, und kannst mit gleicher Stimme donnern, wie er tut?(dhs) Job 40:9 Have you an arm like God? Or can you thunder with a voice like His?(nkjv) ======= Job 40:10 ============ Job 40:10 "Adorn yourself with eminence and dignity, And clothe yourself with honor and majesty.(nasb) Job 40:10 ἀνάλαβε δὴ ὕψος καὶ δύναμιν δόξαν δὲ καὶ τιμὴν ἀμφίεσαι (lxx) Job 40:10 Circumda tibi decorem, et in sublime erigere, et esto gloriosus, et speciosis induere vestibus.(vulgate) Job 40:10 Schmücke dich mit Pracht und erhebe dich; ziehe Majestät und Herrlichkeit an!(dhs) Job 40:10 Then adorn yourself with majesty and splendor, And array yourself with glory and beauty.(nkjv) ======= Job 40:11 ============ Job 40:11 "Pour out the overflowings of your anger, And look on everyone who is proud, and make him low.(nasb) Job 40:11 ἀπόστειλον δὲ ἀγγέλους ὀργῇ πᾶν δὲ ὑβριστὴν ταπείνωσον (lxx) Job 40:11 Disperge superbos in furore tuo, et respiciens omnem arrogantem humilia.(vulgate) Job 40:11 Streue aus den Zorn deines Grimmes;
