Today's Date: ======= Mark 3:1 ============ Mar 3:1 He entered again into a synagogue; and a man was there whose hand was withered.(nasb) Mar 3:1 καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πάλιν εἰς τὴν συναγωγήν. καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος ἐξηραμμένην ἔχων τὴν χεῖρα·(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:1 Et introivit iterum in synagogam: et erat ibi homo habens manum aridam.(vulgate) Mar 3:1 Und er ging abermals in die Schule. But they kept silent.(nasb) Mar 3:4 καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς, ἔξεστιν τοῖς σάββασιν ἀγαθὸν ποιῆσαι ἢ κακοποιῆσαι, ψυχὴν σῶσαι ἢ ἀποκτεῖναι; οἱ δὲ ἐσιώπων.(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:4 Et dicit eis: Licet sabbatis benefacere, an male? animam salvam facere, an perdere? At illi tacebant.(vulgate) Mar 3:4 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Soll man am Sabbat Gutes tun oder Böses tun, das Leben erhalten oder töten? Sie aber schwiegen still.(dhs) Mar 3:4 Then He said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they kept silent.(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:5 ============ Mar 3:5 After looking around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored.(nasb) Mar 3:5 καὶ περιβλεψάμενος αὐτοὺς μετ᾽ ὀργῆς, συλλυπούμενος ἐπὶ τῇ πωρώσει τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν, λέγει τῶ ἀνθρώπῳ, ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρα. καὶ ἐξέτεινεν, καὶ ἀπεκατεστάθη ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:5 Et circumspiciens eos cum ira, contristatus super cæcitate cordis eorum, dicit homini: Extende manum tuam. And they went into a house.(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:20 ============ Mar 3:20 And He came home, and the crowd gathered again, to such an extent that they could not even eat a meal.(nasb) Mar 3:20 καὶ ἔρχεται εἰς οἶκον· καὶ συνέρχεται πάλιν [ὁ] ὄχλος, ὥστε μὴ δύνασθαι αὐτοὺς μηδὲ ἄρτον φαγεῖν.(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:20 Et veniunt ad domum: et convenit iterum turba, ita ut non possent neque panem manducare.(vulgate) Mar 3:20 Und sie kamen nach Hause, und da kam abermals das Volk zusammen, also daß sie nicht Raum hatten, zu essen.(dhs) Mar 3:20 Then the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:21 ============ Mar 3:21 When His own people heard of this, they went out to take custody of Him; for they were saying, "He has lost His senses."(nasb) Mar 3:21 καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐξῆλθον κρατῆσαι αὐτόν, ἔλεγον γὰρ ὅτι ἐξέστη.(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:21 Et cum audissent sui, exierunt tenere eum: dicebant enim: Quoniam in furorem versus est.(vulgate) Mar 3:21 Und da es die Seinen hörten, gingen sie aus und wollten ihn halten; denn sie sprachen: Er ist von Sinnen.(dhs) Mar 3:21 But when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, "He is out of His mind."(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:22 ============ Mar 3:22 The scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, "He is possessed by Beelzebul," and "He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons."(nasb) Mar 3:22 καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς οἱ ἀπὸ ἱεροσολύμων καταβάντες ἔλεγον ὅτι βεελζεβοὺλ ἔχει, καὶ ὅτι ἐν τῶ ἄρχοντι τῶν δαιμονίων ἐκβάλλει τὰ δαιμόνια.(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:22 Et scribæ, qui ab Jerosolymis descenderant, dicebant: Quoniam Beelzebub habet, et quia in principe dæmoniorum ejicit dæmonia.~(vulgate) Mar 3:22 Die Schriftgelehrten aber, die von Jerusalem herabgekommen waren, sprachen: Er hat den Beelzebub, und durch den obersten Teufel treibt er die Teufel aus.(dhs) Mar 3:22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebub," and, "By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons."(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:23 ============ Mar 3:23 And He called them to Himself and began speaking to them in parables," How can Satan cast out Satan?(nasb) Mar 3:23 καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος αὐτοὺς ἐν παραβολαῖς ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς, πῶς δύναται σατανᾶς σατανᾶν ἐκβάλλειν;(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:23 Et convocatis eis in parabolis dicebat illis: Quomodo potest Satanas Satanam ejicere?(vulgate) Mar 3:23 Und er rief sie zusammen und sprach zu ihnen in Gleichnissen: Wie kann ein Satan den anderen austreiben?(dhs) Mar 3:23 So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: "How can Satan cast out Satan?(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:24 ============ Mar 3:24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.(nasb) Mar 3:24 καὶ ἐὰν βασιλεία ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτὴν μερισθῇ, οὐ δύναται σταθῆναι ἡ βασιλεία ἐκείνη·(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:24 Et si regnum in se dividatur, non potest regnum illud stare.(vulgate) Mar 3:24 Wenn ein Reich mit sich selbst uneins wird, kann es nicht bestehen.(dhs) Mar 3:24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:25 ============ Mar 3:25 If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.(nasb) Mar 3:25 καὶ ἐὰν οἰκία ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτὴν μερισθῇ, οὐ δυνήσεται ἡ οἰκία ἐκείνη σταθῆναι.(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:25 Et si domus super semetipsam dispertiatur, non potest domus illa stare.(vulgate) Mar 3:25 Und wenn ein Haus mit sich selbst uneins wird, kann es nicht bestehen.(dhs) Mar 3:25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:26 ============ Mar 3:26 If Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but he is finished!(nasb) Mar 3:26 καὶ εἰ ὁ σατανᾶς ἀνέστη ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτὸν καὶ ἐμερίσθη, οὐ δύναται στῆναι ἀλλὰ τέλος ἔχει.(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:26 Et si Satanas consurrexerit in semetipsum, dispertitus est, et non poterit stare, sed finem habet.(vulgate) Mar 3:26 Setzt sich nun der Satan wider sich selbst und ist mit sich selbst uneins, so kann er nicht bestehen, sondern es ist aus mit ihm.(dhs) Mar 3:26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end.(nkjv) ======= Mark 3:27 ============ Mar 3:27 But no one can enter the strong man's house and plunder his property unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house.(nasb) Mar 3:27 ἀλλ᾽ οὐ δύναται οὐδεὶς εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν τοῦ ἰσχυροῦ εἰσελθὼν τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ διαρπάσαι ἐὰν μὴ πρῶτον τὸν ἰσχυρὸν δήσῃ, καὶ τότε τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ διαρπάσει.(Nestle-Aland) Mar 3:27 Nemo potest vasa fortis ingressus in domum diripere, nisi prius fortem alliget, et tunc domum ejus diripiet.(vulgate) Mar 3:27 Es kann niemand einem Starken in sein Haus fallen und seinen Hausrat rauben, es sei denn, daß er zuvor den Starken binde und alsdann sein Haus beraube.(dhs) Mar 3:27 No one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man.
