And there Abram called on the name of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:5 ============ Gen 13:5 Now Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents.(nasb) Gen 13:5 Sed et Lot qui erat cum Abram, fuerunt greges ovium, et armenta, et tabernacula.(vulgate) Génesis 13:5 Y también Lot, que andaba con Abram, tenía ovejas, y vacas, y tiendas.(E) Genèse 13:5 Lot, qui voyageait avec Abram, avait aussi des brebis, des boeufs et des tentes.(F) Gen 13:5 Lot aber, der mit Abram zog, der hatte auch Schafe und Rinder und Hütten.(D) Gen 13:5 καὶ Λωτ τῷ συμπορευομένῳ μετὰ Αβραμ ἦν πρόβατα καὶ βόες καὶ σκηναί(lxx) Gen 13:5 Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks and herds and tents.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:6 ============ Gen 13:6 And the land could not sustain them while dwelling together, for their possessions were so great that they were not able to remain together.(nasb) Gen 13:6 Nec poterat eos capere terra, ut habitarent simul: erat quippe substantia eorum multa, et nequibant habitare communiter.(vulgate) Génesis 13:6 Y la tierra no podía darles para que habitasen juntos: porque sus posesiones eran muchas, y no podían morar en un mismo lugar.(E) Genèse 13:6 Et la contrée était insuffisante pour qu'ils demeurassent ensemble, car leurs biens étaient si considérables qu'ils ne pouvaient demeurer ensemble.(F) Gen 13:6 Und das Land konnte es nicht ertragen, daß sie beieinander wohnten; denn ihre Habe war groß, und konnten nicht beieinander wohnen.(D) Gen 13:6 καὶ οὐκ ἐχώρει αὐτοὺς ἡ γῆ κατοικεῖν ἅμα ὅτι ἦν τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτῶν πολλά καὶ οὐκ ἐδύναντο κατοικεῖν ἅμα(lxx) Gen 13:6 Now the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:7 ============ Gen 13:7 And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram's livestock and the herdsmen of Lot's livestock. Now the Canaanite and the Perizzite were dwelling then in the land.(nasb) Gen 13:7 Unde et facta est rixa inter pastores gregum Abram et Lot. Eo autem tempore Chananæus et Pherezæus habitabant in terra illa.(vulgate) Génesis 13:7 Y hubo contienda entre los pastores del ganado de Abram y los pastores del ganado de Lot; y el cananeo y el ferezeo habitaban entonces en la tierra.(E) Genèse 13:7 Il y eut querelle entre les bergers des troupeaux d'Abram et les bergers des troupeaux de Lot. Les Cananéens et les Phérésiens habitaient alors dans le pays.(F) Gen 13:7 Und es war immer Zank zwischen den Hirten über Abrams Vieh und zwischen den Hirten über Lots Vieh. The Canaanites and the Perizzites then dwelt in the land.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:8 ============ Gen 13:8 So Abram said to Lot, "Please let there be no strife between you and me, nor between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brothers.(nasb) Gen 13:8 Dixit ergo Abram ad Lot: Ne quæso sit jurgium inter me et te, et inter pastores meos et pastores tuos: fratres enim sumus.(vulgate) Génesis 13:8 Entonces Abram dijo a Lot: No haya ahora altercado entre nosotros, entre mis pastores y los tuyos, porque somos hermanos.(E) Genèse 13:8 Abram dit à Lot: Qu'il n'y ait point, je te prie, de dispute entre moi et toi, ni entre mes bergers et tes bergers; car nous sommes frères.(F) Gen 13:8 Da sprach Abram zu Lot: Laß doch nicht Zank sein zwischen mir und dir und zwischen meinen und deinen Hirten; denn wir sind Gebrüder.(D) Gen 13:8 εἶπεν δὲ Αβραμ τῷ Λωτ μὴ ἔστω μάχη ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ σοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ποιμένων μου καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ποιμένων σου ὅτι ἄνθρωποι ἀδελφοὶ ἡμεῖς ἐσμεν(lxx) Gen 13:8 So Abram said to Lot, "Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:9 ============ Gen 13:9 Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me; if to the left, then I will go to the right; or if to the right, then I will go to the left."(nasb) Gen 13:9 Ecce universa terra coram te est: recede a me, obsecro: si ad sinistram ieris, ego dexteram tenebo: si tu dexteram elegeris, ego ad sinistram pergam.(vulgate) Génesis 13:9 ¿No [está] toda la tierra delante de ti? Yo te ruego que te apartes de mí. Si [vas] a la mano izquierda, yo iré a la derecha; y si tú [vas] a la mano derecha, yo iré a la izquierda.(E) Genèse 13:9 Tout le pays n'est-il pas devant toi? Sépare-toi donc de moi: si tu vas à gauche, j'irai à droite; si tu vas à droite, j'irai à gauche.(F) Gen 13:9 Steht dir nicht alles Land offen? Scheide dich doch von mir. Willst du zur Linken, so will ich zur Rechten; oder willst du zur Rechten, so will ich zur Linken.(D) Gen 13:9 οὐκ ἰδοὺ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ ἐναντίον σού ἐστιν διαχωρίσθητι ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ εἰ σὺ εἰς ἀριστερά ἐγὼ εἰς δεξιά εἰ δὲ σὺ εἰς δεξιά ἐγὼ εἰς ἀριστερά(lxx) Gen 13:9 Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:10 ============ Gen 13:10 Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the valley of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere"this was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah"like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go to Zoar.(nasb) Gen 13:10 Elevatis itaque Lot oculis, vidit omnem circa regionem Jordanis, quæ universa irrigabatur antequam subverteret Dominus Sodomam et Gomorrham, sicut paradisus Domini, et sicut Ægyptus venientibus in Segor.(vulgate) Génesis 13:10 Y alzó Lot sus ojos, y vio toda la llanura del Jordán, que toda ella [era] de riego, como el huerto de Jehová, como la tierra de Egipto entrando en Zoar, antes que destruyese Jehová a Sodoma y a Gomorra.(E) Genèse 13:10 Lot leva les yeux, et vit toute la plaine du Jourdain, qui était entièrement arrosée. Avant que l'Eternel eût détruit Sodome et Gomorrhe, c'était, jusqu'à Tsoar, comme un jardin de l'Eternel, comme le pays d'Egypte.(F) Gen 13:10 Da hob Lot sein Augen auf und besah die ganze Gegend am Jordan. Denn ehe der HERR Sodom und Gomorra verderbte, war sie wasserreich, bis man gen Zoar kommt, als ein Garten des HERRN, gleichwie Ägyptenland.(D) Gen 13:10 καὶ ἐπάρας Λωτ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ εἶδεν πᾶσαν τὴν περίχωρον τοῦ Ιορδάνου ὅτι πᾶσα ἦν ποτιζομένη πρὸ τοῦ καταστρέψαι τὸν θεὸν Σοδομα καὶ Γομορρα ὡς ὁ παράδεισος τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ὡς ἡ γῆ Αἰγύπτου ἕως ἐλθεῖν εἰς Ζογορα(lxx) Gen 13:10 And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:11 ============ Gen 13:11 So Lot chose for himself all the valley of the Jordan, and Lot journeyed eastward. Kann ein Mensch den Staub auf Erden zählen, der wird auch deinen Samen zählen.(D) Gen 13:16 καὶ ποιήσω τὸ σπέρμα σου ὡς τὴν ἄμμον τῆς γῆς εἰ δύναταί τις ἐξαριθμῆσαι τὴν ἄμμον τῆς γῆς καὶ τὸ σπέρμα σου ἐξαριθμηθήσεται(lxx) Gen 13:16 And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:17 ============ Gen 13:17 Arise, walk about the land through its length and breadth; for I will give it to you."(nasb) Gen 13:17 Surge, et perambula terram in longitudine et in latitudine sua: quia tibi daturus sum eam.(vulgate) Génesis 13:17 Levántate, ve por la tierra a lo largo de ella y a su ancho; porque a ti la daré.(E) Genèse 13:17 Lève-toi, parcours le pays dans sa longueur et dans sa largeur; car je te le donnerai.(F) Gen 13:17 Darum so mache dich auf und ziehe durch das Land in die Länge und Breite; denn dir will ich's geben.(D) Gen 13:17 ἀναστὰς διόδευσον τὴν γῆν εἴς τε τὸ μῆκος αὐτῆς καὶ εἰς τὸ πλάτος ὅτι σοὶ δώσω αὐτήν(lxx) Gen 13:17 Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 13:18 ============ Gen 13:18 Then Abram moved his tent and came and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and there he built an altar to the Lord.(nasb) Gen 13:18 Movens igitur tabernaculum suum Abram, venit, et habitavit juxta convallem Mambre, quæ est in Hebron: ædificavitque ibi altare Domino.(vulgate) Génesis 13:18 Abram, pues, removiendo su tienda, vino y moró en el valle de Mamre, que [está] en Hebrón, y edificó allí altar a Jehová.(E) Genèse 13:18 Abram leva ses tentes, et vint habiter parmi les chênes de Mamré, qui sont près d'Hébron.
