So Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am, for you called me." And he arose and went to Eli and said, "Here I am, for you called me." Then Eli discerned that the Lord was calling the boy.(nasb) 1Sa 3:8 Et adjecit Dominus, et vocavit adhuc Samuelem tertio. Qui consurgens abiit ad Heli,(vulgate) 1 Samuel 3:8 Jehová, pues, llamó la tercera vez a Samuel. Y él levantándose vino a Elí, y dijo: Heme aquí; ¿para qué me has llamado? Da merkte Eli, daß der HERR den Knaben rief,(D) 1Sa 3:8 καὶ προσέθετο κύριος καλέσαι Σαμουηλ ἐν τρίτῳ καὶ ἀνέστη καὶ ἐπορεύθη πρὸς Ηλι καὶ εἶπεν ἰδοὺ ἐγώ ὅτι κέκληκάς με καὶ ἐσοφίσατο Ηλι ὅτι κύριος κέκληκεν τὸ παιδάριον(lxx) 1Sa 3:8 And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. Then he arose and went to Eli, and said, "Here I am, for you did call me." Then Eli perceived that the Lord had called the boy.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 3:9 ============ 1Sa 3:9 And Eli said to Samuel, "Go lie down, and it shall be if He calls you, that you shall say, 'Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.'" So Samuel went and lay down in his place.(nasb) 1Sa 3:9 et ait: Ecce ego, quia vocasti me. Intellexit ergo Heli quia Dominus vocaret puerum: et ait ad Samuelem: Vade, et dormi: et si deinceps vocaverit te, dices: Loquere, Domine, quia audit servus tuus. " So Samuel went and lay down in his place.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 3:10 ============ 1Sa 3:10 Then the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" Then he opened the doors of the house of the Lord. But Samuel was afraid to tell the vision to Eli.(nasb) 1Sa 3:15 Dormivit autem Samuel usque mane, aperuitque ostia domus Domini. And Samuel was afraid to tell Eli the vision.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 3:16 ============ 1Sa 3:16 Then Eli called Samuel and said, "Samuel, my son." May God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the words that He spoke to you."(nasb) 1Sa 3:17 Et interrogavit eum: Quis est sermo, quem locutus est Dominus ad te? oro te ne celaveris me: hæc faciat tibi Deus, et hæc addat, si absconderis a me sermonem ex omnibus verbis quæ dicta sunt tibi.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 3:17 Y dijo: ¿Qué es la palabra que te habló [Jehová]? Please do not hide it from me. God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 3:18 ============ 1Sa 3:18 So Samuel told him everything and hid nothing from him. And he said, "It is the Lord; let Him do what seems good to Him."(nasb) 1Sa 3:18 Indicavit itaque ei Samuel universos sermones, et non abscondit ab eo.
