Tell us how we shall send it to its place."(nasb) 1Sa 6:2 Et vocaverunt Philisthiim sacerdotes et divinos, dicentes: Quid faciemus de arca Domini? indicate nobis quomodo remittamus eam in locum suum. Qui dixerunt:(vulgate) 1 Samuel 6:2 Entonces los filisteos, llamando a los sacerdotes y adivinos, preguntaron: ¿Qué haremos con el arca de Jehová? Declaradnos cómo la hemos de tornar a su lugar.(E) 1 Samuel 6:2 Et les Philistins appelèrent les prêtres et les devins, et ils dirent: Que ferons-nous de l'arche de l'Eternel? Faites-nous connaître de quelle manière nous devons la renvoyer en son lieu.(F) 1Sa 6:2 Und die Philister riefen ihre Priester und Weissager und sprachen: Was sollen wir mit der Lade des HERRN machen? Lehrt uns, womit sollen wir sie an ihren Ort senden?(D) 1Sa 6:2 καὶ καλοῦσιν ἀλλόφυλοι τοὺς ἱερεῖς καὶ τοὺς μάντεις καὶ τοὺς ἐπαοιδοὺς αὐτῶν λέγοντες τί ποιήσωμεν τῇ κιβωτῷ κυρίου γνωρίσατε ἡμῖν ἐν τίνι ἀποστελοῦμεν αὐτὴν εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτῆς(lxx) 1Sa 6:2 And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, "What shall we do with the ark of the Lord? Tell us how we should send it to its place."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 6:3 ============ 1Sa 6:3 They said, "If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty; but you shall surely return to Him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed and it will be known to you why His hand is not removed from you."(nasb) 1Sa 6:3 Si remittitis arcam Dei Israël, nolite dimittere eam vacuam, sed quod debetis, reddite ei pro peccato, et tunc curabimini: et scietis quare non recedat manus ejus a vobis.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 6:3 Y ellos dijeron: Si enviáis el arca del Dios de Israel, no la enviéis vacía; mas le pagaréis la expiación: y entonces seréis sanos, y conoceréis por qué no se apartó de vosotros su mano.(E) 1 Samuel 6:3 Ils répondirent: Si vous renvoyez l'arche du Dieu d'Israël, ne la renvoyez point à vide, mais faites à Dieu un sacrifice de culpabilité; alors vous guérirez, et vous saurez pourquoi sa main ne s'est pas retirée de dessus vous.(F) 1Sa 6:3 Sie sprachen: Wollt ihr die Lade des Gottes Israels senden, so sendet sie nicht leer, sondern sollt ihm vergelten ein Schuldopfer; so werdet ihr gesund werden und wird euch kund werden, warum seine Hand nicht von euch läßt.(D) 1Sa 6:3 καὶ εἶπαν εἰ ἐξαπεστέλλετε ὑμεῖς τὴν κιβωτὸν διαθήκης κυρίου θεοῦ Ισραηλ μὴ δὴ ἐξαποστείλητε αὐτὴν κενήν ἀλλὰ ἀποδιδόντες ἀπόδοτε αὐτῇ τῆς βασάνου καὶ τότε ἰαθήσεσθε καὶ ἐξιλασθήσεται ὑμῖν μὴ οὐκ ἀποστῇ ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν(lxx) 1Sa 6:3 So they said, "If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty; but by all means return it to Him with a trespass offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why His hand is not removed from you."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 6:4 ============ 1Sa 6:4 Then they said, "What shall be the guilt offering which we shall return to Him?" And they said, "Five golden tumors and five golden mice according to the number of the lords of the Philistines, for one plague was on all of you and on your lords.(nasb) 1Sa 6:4 Qui dixerunt: Quid est quod pro delicto reddere debeamus ei? They answered, "Five golden tumors and five golden rats, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines. For the same plague was on all of you and on your lords.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 6:5 ============ 1Sa 6:5 So you shall make likenesses of your tumors and likenesses of your mice that ravage the land, and you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps He will ease His hand from you, your gods, and your land.(nasb) 1Sa 6:5 Juxta numerum provinciarum Philisthinorum quinque anos aureos facietis, et quinque mures aureos: quia plaga una fuit omnibus vobis, et satrapis vestris. Facietisque similitudines anorum vestrorum, et similitudines murium, qui demoliti sunt terram: et dabitis Deo Israël gloriam, si forte relevet manum suam a vobis, et a diis vestris, et a terra vestra.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 6:5 Haréis, pues, figuras de vuestras hemorroides, y figuras de vuestros ratones que destruyen la tierra, y daréis gloria al Dios de Israel: quizá aliviará su mano de sobre vosotros, y de sobre vuestros dioses, y de sobre vuestra tierra.(E) 1 Samuel 6:5 Faites des figures de vos tumeurs et des figures de vos souris qui ravagent le pays, et donnez gloire au Dieu d'Israël: peut-être cessera-t-il d'appesantir sa main sur vous, sur vos dieux, et sur votre pays.(F) 1Sa 6:5 So müßt ihr nun machen Bilder eurer Beulen und eurer Mäuse, die euer Land verderbt haben, daß ihr dem Gott Israels die Ehre gebt; vielleicht wird seine Hand leichter werden über euch und über euren Gott und über euer Land.(D) 1Sa 6:5 καὶ μῦς χρυσοῦς ὁμοίωμα τῶν μυῶν ὑμῶν τῶν διαφθειρόντων τὴν γῆν καὶ δώσετε τῷ κυρίῳ δόξαν ὅπως κουφίσῃ τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν θεῶν ὑμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ὑμῶν(lxx) 1Sa 6:5 Therefore you shall make images of your tumors and images of your rats that ravage the land, and you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps He will lighten His hand from you, from your gods, and from your land.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 6:6 ============ 1Sa 6:6 Why then do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When He had severely dealt with them, did they not allow the people to go, and they departed?(nasb) 1Sa 6:6 Quare aggravatis corda vestra, sicut aggravavit Ægyptus et Pharao cor suum? nonne postquam percussus est, tunc dimisit eos, et abierunt?(vulgate) 1 Samuel 6:6 Mas ¿por qué endurecéis vuestro corazón, como los egipcios y Faraón endurecieron su corazón? When He did mighty things among them, did they not let the people go, that they might depart?(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 6:7 ============ 1Sa 6:7 Now therefore, take and prepare a new cart and two milch cows on which there has never been a yoke; and hitch the cows to the cart and take their calves home, away from them.(nasb) 1Sa 6:7 Nunc ergo arripite et facite plaustrum novum unum: et duas vaccas fœtas, quibus non est impositum jugum, jungite in plaustro, et recludite vitulos earum domi.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 6:7 Haced, pues, ahora un carro nuevo, y tomad luego dos vacas que críen, a las cuales no haya sido puesto yugo, y uncid las vacas al carro, y haced volver sus becerros de detrás de ellas a casa.(E) 1 Samuel 6:7 Maintenant, faites un char tout neuf, et prenez deux vaches qui allaitent et qui n'aient point porté le joug; attelez les vaches au char, et ramenez à la maison leurs petits qui sont derrière elles.(F) 1Sa 6:7 So nehmet nun und machet einen neuen Wagen und zwei junge, säugende Kühe, auf die noch nie ein Joch gekommen ist, und spannt sie an den Wagen und laßt ihre Kälber hinter ihnen daheim bleiben.(D) 1Sa 6:7 καὶ νῦν λάβετε καὶ ποιήσατε ἅμαξαν καινὴν καὶ δύο βόας πρωτοτοκούσας ἄνευ τῶν τέκνων καὶ ζεύξατε τὰς βόας ἐν τῇ ἁμάξῃ καὶ ἀπαγάγετε τὰ τέκνα ἀπὸ ὄπισθεν αὐτῶν εἰς οἶκον(lxx) 1Sa 6:7 Now therefore, make a new cart, take two milk cows which have never been yoked, and hitch the cows to the cart; and take their calves home, away from them.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 6:8 ============ 1Sa 6:8 Take the ark of the Lord and place it on the cart; and put the articles of gold which you return to Him as a guilt offering in a box by its side. Und sendet sie hin und laßt sie gehen.(D) 1Sa 6:8 καὶ λήμψεσθε τὴν κιβωτὸν καὶ θήσετε αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν ἅμαξαν καὶ τὰ σκεύη τὰ χρυσᾶ ἀποδώσετε αὐτῇ τῆς βασάνου καὶ θήσετε ἐν θέματι βερσεχθαν ἐκ μέρους αὐτῆς καὶ ἐξαποστελεῖτε αὐτὴν καὶ ἀπελάσατε αὐτήν καὶ ἀπελεύσεται(lxx) 1Sa 6:8 Then take the ark of the Lord and set it on the cart; and put the articles of gold which you are returning to Him as a trespass offering in a chest by its side. Then send it away, and let it go.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 6:9 ============ 1Sa 6:9 Watch, if it goes up by the way of its own territory to Beth-shemesh, then He has done us this great evil. Erat autem ibi lapis magnus, et conciderunt ligna plaustri, vaccasque imposuerunt super ea holocaustum Domino.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 6:14 Y el carro vino al campo de Josué betsemita, y paró allí donde [había] una gran piedra; y ellos cortaron la madera del carro, y ofrecieron las vacas en holocausto a Jehová.(E) 1 Samuel 6:14 Le char arriva dans le champ de Josué de Beth-Schémesch, et s'y arrêta. So they split the wood of the cart and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 6:15 ============ 1Sa 6:15 The Levites took down the ark of the Lord and the box that was with it, in which were the articles of gold, and put them on the large stone; and the men of Beth-shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices that day to the Lord.(nasb) 1Sa 6:15 Levitæ autem deposuerunt arcam Dei, et capsellam quæ erat juxta eam, in qua erant vasa aurea, et posuerunt super lapidem grandem.
