The archers hit him, and he was wounded by the archers.(nkjv) ======= 1 Chronicles 10:4 ============ 1Ch 10:4 Then Saul said to his armor bearer, "Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, otherwise these uncircumcised will come and abuse me." But his armor bearer would not, for he was greatly afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword and fell on it.(nasb) 1Ch 10:4 Et dixit Saul ad armigerum suum: Evagina gladium tuum, et interfice me, ne forte veniant incircumcisi isti, et illudant mihi. Noluit autem armiger ejus hoc facere, timore perterritus: arripuit ergo Saul ensem, et irruit in eum.(vulgate) 1 Crónicas 10:4 Entonces dijo Saúl a su escudero: Saca tu espada, y traspásame con ella, para que no vengan estos incircuncisos y hagan escarnio de mí; pero su escudero no quiso, porque tenía mucho miedo. Entonces Saúl tomó la espada, y se echó sobre ella.(E) 1 Chroniques 10:4 Saül dit alors à celui qui portait ses armes: Tire ton épée, et transperce-m'en, de peur que ces incirconcis ne viennent me faire subir leurs outrages. Celui qui portait ses armes ne voulut pas, car il était saisi de crainte. Et Saül prit son épée, et se jeta dessus.(F) 1Ch 10:4 Da sprach Saul zu seinem Waffenträger: Zieh dein Schwert aus und erstich mich damit, daß diese Unbeschnittenen nicht kommen und schändlich mit mir umgehen! Aber sein Waffenträger wollte nicht; denn er fürchtete sich sehr. Da nahm Saul sein Schwert und fiel hinein.(D) 1Ch 10:4 καὶ εἶπεν Σαουλ τῷ αἴροντι τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ σπάσαι τὴν ῥομφαίαν σου καὶ ἐκκέντησόν με ἐν αὐτῇ μὴ ἔλθωσιν οἱ ἀπερίτμητοι οὗτοι καὶ ἐμπαίξωσίν μοι καὶ οὐκ ἐβούλετο ὁ αἴρων τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ὅτι ἐφοβεῖτο σφόδρα καὶ ἔλαβεν Σαουλ τὴν ῥομφαίαν καὶ ἐπέπεσεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτήν(lxx) 1Ch 10:4 Then Saul said to his armorbearer, "Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised men come and abuse me." Et les Philistins allèrent s'y établir.(F) 1Ch 10:7 Da aber die Männer Israels, die im Grunde wohnten, sahen, daß sie geflohen waren und daß Saul und seine Söhne tot waren, verließen sie ihre Städte und flohen, und die Philister kamen und wohnten darin.(D) 1Ch 10:7 καὶ εἶδεν πᾶς ἀνὴρ Ισραηλ ὁ ἐν τῷ αὐλῶνι ὅτι ἔφυγεν Ισραηλ καὶ ὅτι ἀπέθανεν Σαουλ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ κατέλιπον τὰς πόλεις αὐτῶν καὶ ἔφυγον καὶ ἦλθον ἀλλόφυλοι καὶ κατῴκησαν ἐν αὐταῖς(lxx) 1Ch 10:7 And when all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that they had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities and fled; then the Philistines came and dwelt in them.(nkjv) ======= 1 Chronicles 10:8 ============ 1Ch 10:8 It came about the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.(nasb) 1Ch 10:8 Die igitur altero detrahentes Philisthiim spolia cæsorum, invenerunt Saul et filios ejus jacentes in monte Gelboë.(vulgate) 1 Crónicas 10:8 Y sucedió que al día siguiente, cuando los filisteos vinieron a despojar los muertos, hallaron a Saúl y a sus hijos tendidos en el monte de Gilboa.(E) 1 Chroniques 10:8 Le lendemain, les Philistins vinrent pour dépouiller les morts, et ils trouvèrent Saül et ses fils tombés sur la montagne de Guilboa.(F) 1Ch 10:8 Des andern Morgens kamen die Philister, die Erschlagenen auszuziehen, und fanden Saul und seine Söhne liegen auf dem Gebirge Gilboa(D) 1Ch 10:8 καὶ ἐγένετο τῇ ἐχομένῃ καὶ ἦλθον ἀλλόφυλοι τοῦ σκυλεύειν τοὺς τραυματίας καὶ εὗρον τὸν Σαουλ καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ πεπτωκότας ἐν τῷ ὄρει Γελβουε(lxx) 1Ch 10:8 So it happened the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.(nkjv) ======= 1 Chronicles 10:9 ============ 1Ch 10:9 So they stripped him and took his head and his armor and sent messengers around the land of the Philistines to carry the good news to their idols and to the people.(nasb) 1Ch 10:9 Cumque spoliassent eum, et amputassent caput, armisque nudassent, miserunt in terram suam, ut circumferretur, et ostenderetur idolorum templis, et populis:(vulgate) 1 Crónicas 10:9 Y luego que le despojaron, tomaron su cabeza y sus armas, y enviaron mensajeros por toda la tierra de los filisteos, para dar las nuevas a sus ídolos y al pueblo.(E) 1 Chroniques 10:9 Ils le dépouillèrent, et emportèrent sa tête et ses armes.
