"Many a time they have afflicted me from my youth," Let Israel now say--(nkjv) ======= Psalm 129:2 ============ Psa 129:2 "Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up; Yet they have not prevailed against me.(nasb) Psa 129:2 [vulgate 128:2] saepe expugnaverunt me ab adulescentia mea sed non potuerunt mihi(vulgate) Salmos 129:2 mucho me han angustiado desde mi juventud; mas no prevalecieron contra mí.(E) Psaume 129:2 Ils m'ont assez opprimé dès ma jeunesse, Mais ils ne m'ont pas vaincu.(F) Psa 129:2 sie haben mich oft gedrängt von meiner Jugend auf; aber sie haben mich nicht übermocht.(D) Psa 129:2 πλεονάκις ἐπολέμησάν με ἐκ νεότητός μου καὶ γὰρ οὐκ ἠδυνήθησάν μοι(lxx) Psa 129:2 "Many a time they have afflicted me from my youth; Yet they have not prevailed against me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 129:3 ============ Psa 129:3 "The plowers plowed upon my back; They lengthened their furrows."(nasb) Psa 129:3 [vulgate 128:3] super cervicem meam arabant arantes prolongaverunt sulcum suum(vulgate) Salmos 129:3 Sobre mis espaldas araron los aradores; hicieron largos surcos.(E) Psaume 129:3 Des laboureurs ont labouré mon dos, Ils y ont tracé de longs sillons.(F) Psa 129:3 Die Pflüger haben auf meinen Rücken geackert und ihre Furchen lang gezogen.(D) Psa 129:3 ἐπὶ τοῦ νώτου μου ἐτέκταινον οἱ ἁμαρτωλοί ἐμάκρυναν τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτῶν(lxx) Psa 129:3 The plowers plowed on my back; They made their furrows long."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 129:4 ============ Psa 129:4 The Lord is righteous; He has cut in two the cords of the wicked.(nasb) Psa 129:4 [vulgate 128:4] Dominus iustus concidet laqueos impiorum(vulgate) Salmos 129:4 Jehová es justo; cortó las coyundas de los impíos.(E) Psaume 129:4 L'Eternel est juste: Il a coupé les cordes des méchants.(F) Psa 129:4 Der HERR, der gerecht ist, hat der Gottlosen Seile abgehauen.(D) Psa 129:4 κύριος δίκαιος συνέκοψεν αὐχένας ἁμαρτωλῶν(lxx) Psa 129:4 The Lord is righteous; He has cut in pieces the cords of the wicked.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 129:5 ============ Psa 129:5 May all who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned backward;(nasb) Psa 129:5 [vulgate 128:5] confundantur et revertantur retrorsum omnes qui oderunt Sion(vulgate) Salmos 129:5 Serán avergonzados y vueltos atrás todos los que aborrecen a Sión.(E) Psaume 129:5 Qu'ils soient confondus et qu'ils reculent, Tous ceux qui haïssent Sion!(F) Psa 129:5 Ach daß müßten zu Schanden werden und zurückkehren alle, die Zion gram sind!(D) Psa 129:5 αἰσχυνθήτωσαν καὶ ἀποστραφήτωσαν εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω πάντες οἱ μισοῦντες Σιων(lxx) Psa 129:5 Let all those who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned back.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 129:6 ============ Psa 129:6 Let them be like grass upon the housetops, Which withers before it grows up;(nasb) Psa 129:6 [vulgate 128:6] fiant sicut faenum tectorum quod statim ut viruerit arescet(vulgate) Salmos 129:6 Serán como la hierba de los tejados, que se seca antes que crezca;(E) Psaume 129:6 Qu'ils soient comme l'herbe des toits, Qui sèche avant qu'on l'arrache!(F) Psa 129:6 Ach daß sie müßten sein wie das Gras auf den Dächern, welches verdorrt, ehe man es ausrauft,(D) Psa 129:6 γενηθήτωσαν ὡς χόρτος δωμάτων ὃς πρὸ τοῦ ἐκσπασθῆναι ἐξηράνθη(lxx) Psa 129:6 Let them be as the grass on the housetops, Which withers before it grows up,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 129:7 ============ Psa 129:7 With which the reaper does not fill his hand, Or the binder of sheaves his bosom;(nasb) Psa 129:7 [vulgate 128:7] de quo non implebit manum suam messor et sinum suum manipulos faciens(vulgate) Salmos 129:7 de la cual no llenó el segador su mano, ni sus brazos el que hace gavillas.(E) Psaume 129:7 Le moissonneur n'en remplit point sa main, Celui qui lie les gerbes n'en charge point son bras,(F) Psa 129:7 von welchem der Schnitter seine Hand nicht füllt noch der Garbenbinder seinen Arm(D) Psa 129:7 οὗ οὐκ ἐπλήρωσεν τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ὁ θερίζων καὶ τὸν κόλπον αὐτοῦ ὁ τὰ δράγματα συλλέγων(lxx) Psa 129:7 With which the reaper does not fill his hand, Nor he who binds sheaves, his arms.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 129:8 ============ Psa 129:8 Nor do those who pass by say, "The blessing of the Lord be upon you; We bless you in the name of the Lord."(nasb) Psa 129:8 [vulgate 128:8] de quo non dixerunt transeuntes benedictio Domini super vos benediximus vobis in nomine Domini(vulgate) Salmos 129:8 Ni dijeron los que pasaban: Bendición de Jehová [sea] sobre vosotros; os bendecimos en el nombre de Jehová.(E) Psaume 129:8 Et les passants ne disent point: Que la bénédiction de l'Eternel soit sur vous!
