Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 52:1 ============ Isa 52:1 Awake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; For the uncircumcised and the unclean Will no longer come into you.(nasb) Isa 52:1 [Consurge, consurge, induere fortitudine tua, Sion! induere vestimentis gloriæ tuæ, Jerusalem, civitas Sancti, quia non adjiciet ultra ut pertranseat per te incircumcisus et immundus.(vulgate) Isaías 52:1 Despierta, despierta, vístete tu fortaleza, oh Sión; vístete tu ropa de hermosura, oh Jerusalén, ciudad santa; porque nunca más vendrá a ti incircunciso ni inmundo.(E) Ésaïe 52:1 Réveille-toi! réveille-toi! revêts ta parure, Sion! Revêts tes habits de fête, Jérusalem, ville sainte! Car il n'entrera plus chez toi ni incirconcis ni impur.(F) Isa 52:1 Mache dich auf, mache dich auf, Zion! Zieh deine Stärke an, schmücke dich herrlich, du heilige Stadt Jerusalem! Denn es wird hinfort kein Unbeschnittener oder Unreiner zu dir eingehen.(D) Isa 52:1 ἐξεγείρου ἐξεγείρου Σιων ἔνδυσαι τὴν ἰσχύν σου Σιων καὶ ἔνδυσαι τὴν δόξαν σου Ιερουσαλημ πόλις ἡ ἁγία οὐκέτι προστεθήσεται διελθεῖν διὰ σοῦ ἀπερίτμητος καὶ ἀκάθαρτος(lxx) Isa 52:1 Awake, awake! Détache les liens de ton cou, Captive, fille de Sion!(F) Isa 52:2 Schüttle den Staub ab, stehe auf, du gefangenes Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion!(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:3 ============ Isa 52:3 For thus says the Lord, "You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money."(nasb) Isa 52:3 Quia hæc dicit Dominus: Gratis venundati estis, et sine argento redimemini.(vulgate) Isaías 52:3 Porque así dice Jehová: De balde fuisteis vendidos; por tanto, sin dinero seréis rescatados.(E) Ésaïe 52:3 Car ainsi parle l'Eternel: C'est gratuitement que vous avez été vendus, Et ce n'est pas à prix d'argent que vous serez rachetés.(F) Isa 52:3 Denn also spricht der HERR: Ihr seid umsonst verkauft; ihr sollt auch ohne Geld gelöst werden.(D) Isa 52:3 ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος δωρεὰν ἐπράθητε καὶ οὐ μετὰ ἀργυρίου λυτρωθήσεσθε(lxx) Isa 52:3 For thus says the Lord: "You have sold yourselves for nothing, And you shall be redeemed without money."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:4 ============ Isa 52:4 For thus says the Lord God, "My people went down at the first into Egypt to reside there; then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.(nasb) Isa 52:4 Quia hæc dicit Dominus Deus: In Ægyptum descendit populus meus in principio, ut colonus esset ibi, et Assur absque ulla causa calumniatus est eum.(vulgate) Isaías 52:4 Porque así dice el Señor Jehová: Mi pueblo descendió a Egipto en tiempo pasado, para peregrinar allá; y el asirio lo oprimió sin razón.(E) Ésaïe 52:4 Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Jadis mon peuple descendit en Egypte, pour y séjourner; Puis l'Assyrien l'opprima sans cause.(F) Isa 52:4 Denn so spricht der HERR HERR: Mein Volk zog am ersten hinab nach Ägypten, daß es daselbst Gast wäre; und Assur hat ihm ohne Ursache Gewalt getan.(D) Isa 52:4 οὕτως λέγει κύριος εἰς Αἴγυπτον κατέβη ὁ λαός μου τὸ πρότερον παροικῆσαι ἐκεῖ καὶ εἰς Ἀσσυρίους βίᾳ ἤχθησαν(lxx) Isa 52:4 For thus says the Lord God: "My people went down at first Into Egypt to dwell there; Then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:5 ============ Isa 52:5 Now therefore, what do I have here," declares the Lord, "seeing that My people have been taken away without cause?" Again the Lord declares, "Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually blasphemed all day long.(nasb) Isa 52:5 Et nunc quid mihi est hic, dicit Dominus, quoniam ablatus est populus meus gratis? Dominatores ejus inique agunt, dicit Dominus, et jugiter tota die nomen meum blasphematur.(vulgate) Isaías 52:5 Y ahora ¿qué tengo yo aquí, dice Jehová, ya que mi pueblo es llevado sin un por qué? Y los que en él se enseñorean, lo hacen aullar, dice Jehová, y continuamente es blasfemado mi nombre todo el día.(E) Ésaïe 52:5 Et maintenant, qu'ai-je à faire, dit l'Eternel, Quand mon peuple a été gratuitement enlevé? Ses tyrans poussent des cris, dit l'Eternel, Et toute la durée du jour mon nom est outragé.(F) Isa 52:5 Aber wie tut man mir jetzt allhier! spricht der HERR. Mein Volk wird umsonst hingerafft; seine Herrscher machen eitel Heulen, spricht der HERR, und mein Name wird immer täglich gelästert.(D) Isa 52:5 καὶ νῦν τί ὧδέ ἐστε τάδε λέγει κύριος ὅτι ἐλήμφθη ὁ λαός μου δωρεάν θαυμάζετε καὶ ὀλολύζετε τάδε λέγει κύριος δι᾽ ὑμᾶς διὰ παντὸς τὸ ὄνομά μου βλασφημεῖται ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν(lxx) Isa 52:5 Now therefore, what have I here," says the Lord, "That My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them Make them wail," says the Lord, "And My name is blasphemed continually every day.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:6 ============ Isa 52:6 Therefore My people shall know My name; therefore in that day I am the one who is speaking, 'Here I am.'"(nasb) Isa 52:6 Propter hoc sciet populus meus nomen meum in die illa: quia ego ipse qui loquebar, ecce adsum.]~(vulgate) Isaías 52:6 Por tanto, mi pueblo sabrá mi nombre por esta causa en aquel día; porque yo mismo que hablo, he aquí estaré presente.(E) Ésaïe 52:6 C'est pourquoi mon peuple connaîtra mon nom; C'est pourquoi il saura, en ce jour, Que c'est moi qui parle: me voici!(F) Isa 52:6 Darum soll mein Volk meinen Namen kennen zu derselben Zeit; denn ich bin's, der da spricht: Hier bin ich!(D) Isa 52:6 διὰ τοῦτο γνώσεται ὁ λαός μου τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι αὐτὸς ὁ λαλῶν πάρειμι(lxx) Isa 52:6 Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I am He who speaks: 'Behold, it is I.' "(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:7 ============ Isa 52:7 How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"(nasb) Isa 52:7 [Quam pulchri super montes pedes annuntiantis et prædicantis pacem; annuntiantis bonum, prædicantis salutem, dicentis Sion: Regnabit Deus tuus!(vulgate) Isaías 52:7 ¡Cuán hermosos son sobre los montes los pies del que trae alegres nuevas, del que publica la paz, del que trae buenas nuevas del bien, del que publica salvación, del que dice a Sión: Tu Dios reina!(E) Ésaïe 52:7 Qu'ils sont beaux sur les montagnes, Les pieds de celui qui apporte de bonnes nouvelles, Qui publie la paix! De celui qui apporte de bonnes nouvelles, Qui publie le salut! De celui qui dit à Sion: ton Dieu règne!(F) Isa 52:7 Wie lieblich sind auf den Bergen die Füße der Boten, die da Frieden verkündigen, Gutes predigen, Heil verkündigen, die da sagen zu Zion: Dein Gott ist König!(D) Isa 52:7 ὡς ὥρα ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων ὡς πόδες εὐαγγελιζομένου ἀκοὴν εἰρήνης ὡς εὐαγγελιζόμενος ἀγαθά ὅτι ἀκουστὴν ποιήσω τὴν σωτηρίαν σου λέγων Σιων βασιλεύσει σου ὁ θεός(lxx) Isa 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:8 ============ Isa 52:8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, They shout joyfully together; For they will see with their own eyes When the Lord restores Zion.(nasb) Isa 52:8 Vox speculatorum tuorum: levaverunt vocem, simul laudabunt, quia oculo ad oculum videbunt cum converterit Dominus Sion.(vulgate) Isaías 52:8 ¡Voz de tus atalayas! Alzarán la voz, juntamente darán voces de júbilo; porque ojo a ojo verán cuando Jehová vuelva a traer a Sión.(E) Ésaïe 52:8 La voix de tes sentinelles retentit; Elles élèvent la voix, Elles poussent ensemble des cris d'allégresse; Car de leurs propres yeux elles voient Que l'Eternel ramène Sion.(F) Isa 52:8 Deine Wächter rufen laut mit ihrer Stimme und rühmen miteinander; denn man wird's mit Augen sehen, wenn der HERR Zion bekehrt.(D) Isa 52:8 ὅτι φωνὴ τῶν φυλασσόντων σε ὑψώθη καὶ τῇ φωνῇ ἅμα εὐφρανθήσονται ὅτι ὀφθαλμοὶ πρὸς ὀφθαλμοὺς ὄψονται ἡνίκα ἂν ἐλεήσῃ κύριος τὴν Σιων(lxx) Isa 52:8 Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; For they shall see eye to eye When the Lord brings back Zion.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:9 ============ Isa 52:9 Break forth, shout joyfully together, You waste places of Jerusalem; For the Lord has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem.(nasb) Isa 52:9 Gaudete, et laudate simul, deserta Jerusalem, quia consolatus est Dominus populum suum; redemit Jerusalem.(vulgate) Isaías 52:9 Prorrumpid de gozo, cantad juntamente, lugares desolados de Jerusalén; porque Jehová ha consolado a su pueblo, a Jerusalén ha redimido.(E) Ésaïe 52:9 Eclatez ensemble en cris de joie, Ruines de Jérusalem! Car l'Eternel console son peuple, Il rachète Jérusalem.(F) Isa 52:9 Laßt fröhlich sein und miteinander rühmen das Wüste zu Jerusalem; denn der HERR hat sein Volk getröstet und Jerusalem gelöst.(D) Isa 52:9 ῥηξάτω εὐφροσύνην ἅμα τὰ ἔρημα Ιερουσαλημ ὅτι ἠλέησεν κύριος αὐτὴν καὶ ἐρρύσατο Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Isa 52:9 Break forth into joy, sing together, You waste places of Jerusalem! For the Lord has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:10 ============ Isa 52:10 The Lord has bared His holy arm In the sight of all the nations, That all the ends of the earth may see The salvation of our God.(nasb) Isa 52:10 Paravit Dominus brachium sanctum suum in oculis omnium gentium; et videbunt omnes fines terræ salutare Dei nostri.(vulgate) Isaías 52:10 Jehová desnudó su santo brazo ante los ojos de todas las naciones; y todos los términos de la tierra verán la salvación de nuestro Dios.(E) Ésaïe 52:10 L'Eternel découvre le bras de sa sainteté, Aux yeux de toutes les nations; Et toutes les extrémités de la terre verront Le salut de notre Dieu.(F) Isa 52:10 Der HERR hat offenbart seinen heiligen Arm vor den Augen aller Heiden, daß aller Welt Enden sehen das Heil unsers Gottes.(D) Isa 52:10 καὶ ἀποκαλύψει κύριος τὸν βραχίονα αὐτοῦ τὸν ἅγιον ἐνώπιον πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ ὄψονται πάντα τὰ ἄκρα τῆς γῆς τὴν σωτηρίαν τὴν παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ(lxx) Isa 52:10 The Lord has made bare His holy arm In the eyes of all the nations; And all the ends of the earth shall see The salvation of our God.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:11 ============ Isa 52:11 Depart, depart, go out from there, Touch nothing unclean; Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, You who carry the vessels of the Lord.(nasb) Isa 52:11 Recedite, recedite; exite inde, pollutum nolite tangere; exite de medio ejus; mundamini, qui fertis vasa Domini.(vulgate) Isaías 52:11 Apartaos, apartaos, salid de ahí, no toquéis cosa inmunda; salid de en medio de ella; limpiaos los que lleváis los vasos de Jehová.(E) Ésaïe 52:11 Partez, partez, sortez de là! Ne touchez rien d'impur! Sortez du milieu d'elle! Purifiez-vous, vous qui portez les vases de l'Eternel!(F) Isa 52:11 Weicht, weicht, zieht aus von dannen und rührt kein Unreines an; geht aus von ihr, reinigt euch, die ihr des HERRN Geräte tragt!(D) Isa 52:11 ἀπόστητε ἀπόστητε ἐξέλθατε ἐκεῖθεν καὶ ἀκαθάρτου μὴ ἅπτεσθε ἐξέλθατε ἐκ μέσου αὐτῆς ἀφορίσθητε οἱ φέροντες τὰ σκεύη κυρίου(lxx) Isa 52:11 Depart! Depart! Go out from there, Touch no unclean thing; Go out from the midst of her, Be clean, You who bear the vessels of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:12 ============ Isa 52:12 But you will not go out in haste, Nor will you go as fugitives; For the Lord will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.(nasb) Isa 52:12 Quoniam non in tumultu exibitis, nec in fuga properabitis; præcedet enim vos Dominus, et congregabit vos Deus Israël.]~(vulgate) Isaías 52:12 Porque no saldréis apresurados, ni iréis huyendo; porque Jehová irá delante de vosotros, y [será] vuestra retaguardia el Dios de Israel.(E) Ésaïe 52:12 Ne sortez pas avec précipitation, Ne partez pas en fuyant; Car l'Eternel ira devant vous, Et le Dieu d'Israël fermera votre marche.(F) Isa 52:12 Denn ihr sollt nicht mit Eile ausziehen noch mit Flucht wandeln; denn der HERR wird vor euch her ziehen; und der Gott Israels wird euch sammeln.(D) Isa 52:12 ὅτι οὐ μετὰ ταραχῆς ἐξελεύσεσθε οὐδὲ φυγῇ πορεύσεσθε πορεύσεται γὰρ πρότερος ὑμῶν κύριος καὶ ὁ ἐπισυνάγων ὑμᾶς κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ(lxx) Isa 52:12 For you shall not go out with haste, Nor go by flight; For the Lord will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:13 ============ Isa 52:13 Behold, My servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted.(nasb) Isa 52:13 [Ecce intelliget servus meus, exaltabitur et elevabitur, et sublimis erit valde.(vulgate) Isaías 52:13 He aquí que mi siervo será prosperado, será engrandecido y exaltado, y será muy enaltecido.(E) Ésaïe 52:13 Voici, mon serviteur prospérera; Il montera, il s'élèvera, il s'élèvera bien haut.(F) Isa 52:13 Siehe, mein Knecht wird weislich tun und wird erhöht und sehr hoch erhaben sein.(D) Isa 52:13 ἰδοὺ συνήσει ὁ παῖς μου καὶ ὑψωθήσεται καὶ δοξασθήσεται σφόδρα(lxx) Isa 52:13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:14 ============ Isa 52:14 Just as many were astonished at you, My people, So His appearance was marred more than any man And His form more than the sons of men.(nasb) Isa 52:14 Sicut obstupuerunt super te multi, sic inglorius erit inter viros aspectus ejus, et forma ejus inter filios hominum.(vulgate) Isaías 52:14 Como se asombraron de ti muchos, de tal manera fue desfigurado de los hombres su parecer; y su hermosura más que la de los hijos de los hombres,(E) Ésaïe 52:14 De même qu'il a été pour plusieurs un sujet d'effroi, -Tant son visage était défiguré, Tant son aspect différait de celui des fils de l'homme, -(F) Isa 52:14 Gleichwie sich viele an dir ärgern werden, weil seine Gestalt häßlicher ist denn anderer Leute und sein Ansehen denn der Menschenkinder,(D) Isa 52:14 ὃν τρόπον ἐκστήσονται ἐπὶ σὲ πολλοί οὕτως ἀδοξήσει ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπων τὸ εἶδός σου καὶ ἡ δόξα σου ἀπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων(lxx) Isa 52:14 Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, And His form more than the sons of men;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 52:15 ============ Isa 52:15 Thus He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; For what had not been told them they will see, And what they had not heard they will understand.(nasb) Isa 52:15 Iste asperget gentes multas; super ipsum continebunt reges os suum: quia quibus non est narratum de eo viderunt, et qui non audierunt contemplati sunt.](vulgate) Isaías 52:15 así Él rociará muchas naciones; los reyes cerrarán ante Él la boca; porque verán lo que nunca les fue contado, y entenderán lo que jamás habían oído.(E) Ésaïe 52:15 De même il sera pour beaucoup de peuples un sujet de joie; Devant lui des rois fermeront la bouche; Car ils verront ce qui ne leur avait point été raconté, Ils apprendront ce qu'ils n'avaient point entendu.(F) Isa 52:15 also wird er viele Heiden besprengen, daß auch Könige werden ihren Mund vor ihm zuhalten. Denn welchen nichts davon verkündigt ist, die werden's mit Lust sehen; und die nichts davon gehört haben, die werden's merken.(D) Isa 52:15 οὕτως θαυμάσονται ἔθνη πολλὰ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ καὶ συνέξουσιν βασιλεῖς τὸ στόμα αὐτῶν ὅτι οἷς οὐκ ἀνηγγέλη περὶ αὐτοῦ ὄψονται καὶ οἳ οὐκ ἀκηκόασιν συνήσουσιν(lxx) Isa 52:15 So shall He sprinkle many nations.
