They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good.(nas) Psa 14:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ εἶπεν ἄφρων ἐν καρδίᾳ αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν θεός διέφθειραν καὶ ἐβδελύχθησαν ἐν ἐπιτηδεύμασιν οὐκ ἔστιν ποιῶν χρηστότητα οὐκ ἔστιν ἕως ἑνός (lxx) Psa 14:1 [Vulgate 13:1] victori David dixit stultus in corde suo non est Deus corrupti sunt et abominabiles facti sunt studiose non est qui faciat bonum(vulgate) 1 ׃14 לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ לְדָ֫וִ֥ד אָ֘מַ֤ר נָבָ֣ל בְּ֭לִבּוֹ אֵ֣ין אֱלֹהִ֑ים הִֽשְׁחִ֗יתוּ הִֽתְעִ֥יבוּ עֲלִילָ֗ה אֵ֣ין עֹֽשֵׂה־טֽוֹב׃ Psalms Psa 14:1 (Ein Psa lm Davids, vorzusingen.) They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 14:2 ============ Psa 14:2 The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God.(nas) Psa 14:2 κύριος ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ διέκυψεν ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων τοῦ ἰδεῖν εἰ ἔστιν συνίων ἢ ἐκζητῶν τὸν θεόν (lxx) Psa 14:2 [Vulgate 13:2] Dominus de caelo prospexit super filios hominum ut videret si esset intellegens requirens Deum(vulgate) 2 ׃14 יְֽהוָ֗ה מִשָּׁמַיִם֮ הִשְׁקִ֢יף עַֽל־בְּנֵי־אָ[c]דָ֥ם לִ֭רְאוֹת הֲיֵ֣שׁ מַשְׂכִּ֑יל דֹּ֝רֵשׁ אֶת־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 14:2 Der HERR schaut vom Himmel auf der Menschen Kinder, daß er sehe, ob jemand klug sei und nach Gott frage.(dhs) Psa 14:2 The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 14:3 ============ Psa 14:3 They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.(nas) Psa 14:3 πάντες ἐξέκλιναν ἅμα ἠχρεώθησαν οὐκ ἔστιν ποιῶν χρηστότητα οὐκ ἔστιν ἕως ἑνός τάφος ἀνεῳγμένος ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶν ταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶν ἐδολιοῦσαν ἰὸς ἀσπίδων ὑπὸ τὰ χείλη αὐτῶν ὧν τὸ στόμα ἀρᾶς καὶ πικρίας γέμει ὀξεῖς οἱ πόδες αὐτῶν ἐκχέαι αἷμα σύντριμμα καὶ ταλαιπωρία ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν καὶ ὁδὸν εἰρήνης οὐκ ἔγνωσαν οὐκ ἔστιν φόβος θεοῦ ἀπέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτῶν (lxx) Psa 14:3 [Vulgate 13:3] omnes recesserunt simul conglutinati sunt non est qui faciat bonum non est usque ad unum(vulgate) 3 ׃14 הַכֹּ֥ל סָר֮ יַחְדָּ֢ו נֶ֫אֱלָ֥חוּ אֵ֤ין עֹֽשֵׂה־ט֑וֹב אֵ֝֗ין גַּם־אֶחָֽד׃ Psalms Psa 14:3 Aber sie sind alle abgewichen und allesamt untüchtig; da ist keiner, der Gutes tue, auch nicht einer.(dhs) Psa 14:3 They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 14:4 ============ Psa 14:4 Do all the workers of wickedness not know, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon the Lord?(nas) Psa 14:4 οὐχὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν οἱ κατεσθίοντες τὸν λαόν μου βρώσει ἄρτου τὸν κύριον οὐκ ἐπεκαλέσαντο (lxx) Psa 14:4 [Vulgate 13:4] nonne cognoscent omnes qui operantur iniquitatem qui devorant populum meum ut cibum panis(vulgate) 4 ׃14 הֲלֹ֥א יָדְעוּ֮ כָּל־פֹּ֢עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן אֹכְלֵ֣י עַ֭מִּי אָ֣כְלוּ לֶ֑חֶם יְ֝הוָ֗ה לֹ֣א קָרָֽאוּ׃ Psalms Psa 14:4 Will denn der Übeltäter keiner das merken, die mein Volk fressen, daß sie sich nähren; aber den HERRN rufen sie nicht an?(dhs) Psa 14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on the Lord?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 14:5 ============ Psa 14:5 There they are in great dread, For God is with the righteous generation.(nas) Psa 14:5 ἐκεῖ ἐδειλίασαν φόβῳ οὗ οὐκ ἦν φόβος ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἐν γενεᾷ δικαίᾳ (lxx) Psa 14:5 [Vulgate 13:5] Dominum non invocaverunt ibi timebunt formidine(vulgate) 5 ׃14 שָׁ֤ם ׀ פָּ֣חֲדוּ פָ֑חַד כִּֽי־אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים בְּד֣וֹר צַדִּֽיק׃ Psalms Psa 14:5 Da fürchten sie sich; denn Gott ist bei dem Geschlecht der Gerechten.(dhs) Psa 14:5 There they are in great fear, For God is with the generation of the righteous.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 14:6 ============ Psa 14:6 You would put to shame the counsel of the afflicted, But the Lord is his refuge.(nas) Psa 14:6 βουλὴν πτωχοῦ κατῃσχύνατε ὅτι κύριος ἐλπὶς αὐτοῦ ἐστιν (lxx) Psa 14:6 [Vulgate 13:6] quoniam Deus in generatione iusta est consilium pauperum confudistis quoniam Dominus spes eius est(vulgate) 6 ׃14 עֲצַת־עָנִ֥י תָבִ֑ישׁוּ כִּ֖י יְהוָ֣ה מַחְסֵֽהוּ׃ Psalms Psa 14:6 Ihr schändet des Armen Rat; aber Gott ist seine Zuversicht.(dhs) Psa 14:6 You shame the counsel of the poor, But the Lord is his refuge.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 14:7 ============ Psa 14:7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores His captive people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.(nas) Psa 14:7 τίς δώσει ἐκ Σιων τὸ σωτήριον τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ἐπιστρέψαι κύριον τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ ἀγαλλιάσθω Ιακωβ καὶ εὐφρανθήτω Ισραηλ (lxx) Psa 14:7 [Vulgate 13:7] quis dabit de Sion salutem Israhel quando reduxerit Dominus captivitatem populi sui exultabit Iacob et laetabitur Israhel(vulgate) 7 ׃14 מִ֥י יִתֵּ֣ן מִצִיּוֹן֮ יְשׁוּעַ֢ת יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל בְּשׁ֣וּב יְ֭הוָה שְׁב֣וּת עַמּ֑וֹ יָגֵ֥ל יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב יִשְׂמַ֥ח יִשְׂרָֽאֵל׃ Psalms Psa 14:7 Ach daß die Hilfe aus Zion über Israel käme und der HERR sein gefangen Volk erlösete! So würde Jakob fröhlich sein und Israel sich freuen.(dhs) Psa 14:7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
