The enemy has damaged everything in the sanctuary.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 74:4 ============ Psa 74:4 Your adversaries have roared in the midst of Your meeting place; They have set up their own standards for signs.(nas) Psa 74:4 καὶ ἐνεκαυχήσαντο οἱ μισοῦντές σε ἐν μέσῳ τῆς ἑορτῆς σου ἔθεντο τὰ σημεῖα αὐτῶν σημεῖα καὶ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν (lxx) Psa 74:4 [Vulgate 73:4] fremuerunt hostes tui in medio pacti tui posuerunt signa sua in tropeum(vulgate) 4 ׃74 שָׁאֲג֣וּ צֹ֭רְרֶיךָ בְּקֶ֣רֶב מוֹעֲדֶ֑ךָ שָׂ֖מוּ אוֹתֹתָ֣ם אֹתֽוֹת׃ Psalms Psa 74:4 Deine Widersacher brüllen in deinen Häusern und setzen ihre Götzen darein.(dhs) Psa 74:4 Your enemies roar in the midst of Your meeting place; They set up their banners for signs.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 74:5 ============ Psa 74:5 It seems as if one had lifted up His axe in a forest of trees.(nas) Psa 74:5 ὡς εἰς τὴν εἴσοδον ὑπεράνω (lxx) Psa 74:5 [Vulgate 73:5] manifesta in introitu desuper in saltu lignorum secures(vulgate) 5 ׃74 יִ֭וָּדַע כְּמֵבִ֣יא לְמָ֑עְלָה בִּֽסֲבָךְ־עֵ֝֗ץ קַרְדֻּמּֽוֹת׃ Psalms Psa 74:5 Man sieht die Äxte obenher blinken, wie man in einen Wald haut;(dhs) Psa 74:5 They seem like men who lift up Axes among the thick trees.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 74:6 ============ Psa 74:6 And now all its carved work They smash with hatchet and hammers.(nas) Psa 74:6 ὡς ἐν δρυμῷ ξύλων ἀξίναις ἐξέκοψαν τὰς θύρας αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ἐν πελέκει καὶ λαξευτηρίῳ κατέρραξαν αὐτήν (lxx) Psa 74:6 [Vulgate 73:6] et nunc scalpturas eius pariter bipinne et dolatoriis deraserunt(vulgate) 6 ׃74 *ועת **וְ֭עַתָּה פִּתּוּחֶ֣יהָ יָּ֑חַד בְּכַשִּׁ֥יל וְ֝כֵֽילַפֹּ֗ת יַהֲלֹמֽוּן׃ Psalms Psa 74:6 sie zerhauen alle seine Tafelwerke mit Beil und Barte.(dhs) Psa 74:6 And now they break down its carved work, all at once, With axes and hammers.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 74:7 ============ Psa 74:7 They have burned Your sanctuary to the ground; They have defiled the dwelling place of Your name.(nas) Psa 74:7 ἐνεπύρισαν ἐν πυρὶ τὸ ἁγιαστήριόν σου εἰς τὴν γῆν ἐβεβήλωσαν τὸ σκήνωμα τοῦ ὀνόματός σου (lxx) Psa 74:7 [Vulgate 73:7] miserunt ignem in sanctuarium tuum in terram contaminaverunt habitaculum nominis tui(vulgate) 7 ׃74 שִׁלְח֣וּ בָ֭אֵשׁ מִקְדָּשֶׁ֑ךָ לָ֝אָ֗רֶץ חִלְּל֥וּ מִֽשְׁכַּן־שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 74:7 Sie verbrennen dein Heiligtum; sie entweihen und werfen zu Boden die Wohnung deines Namens.(dhs) Psa 74:7 They have set fire to Your sanctuary; They have defiled the dwelling place of Your name to the ground.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 74:8 ============ Psa 74:8 They said in their heart, "Let us completely subdue them. Will the enemy blaspheme Your name forever?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 74:11 ============ Psa 74:11 Why do You withdraw Your hand, even Your right hand? You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.(nas) Psa 74:13 σὺ ἐκραταίωσας ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου τὴν θάλασσαν σὺ συνέτριψας τὰς κεφαλὰς τῶν δρακόντων ἐπὶ τοῦ ὕδατος (lxx) Psa 74:13 [Vulgate 73:13] tu dissipasti in fortitudine tua mare contrivisti capita draconum in aquis(vulgate) 13 ׃74 אַתָּ֤ה פוֹרַ֣רְתָּ בְעָזְּךָ֣ יָ֑ם שִׁבַּ֖רְתָּ רָאשֵׁ֥י תַ֝נִּינִ֗ים עַל־הַמָּֽיִם׃ Psalms Psa 74:13 Du zertrennst das Meer durch dein Kraft und zerbrichst die Köpfe der Drachen im Wasser.(dhs) Psa 74:13 You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 74:14 ============ Psa 74:14 You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.(nas) Psa 74:14 σὺ συνέθλασας τὰς κεφαλὰς τοῦ δράκοντος ἔδωκας αὐτὸν βρῶμα λαοῖς τοῖς Αἰθίοψιν (lxx) Psa 74:14 [Vulgate 73:14] tu confregisti capita Leviathan dedisti eum in escam populo Aethiopum(vulgate) 14 ׃74 אַתָּ֣ה רִ֭צַּצְתָּ רָאשֵׁ֣י לִוְיָתָ֑ן תִּתְּנֶ֥נּוּ מַ֝אֲכָ֗ל לְעָ֣ם לְצִיִּֽים׃ Psalms Psa 74:14 Du zerschlägst die Köpfe der Walfische und gibst sie zur Speise dem Volk in der Einöde.(dhs) Psa 74:14 You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces, And gave him as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 74:15 ============ Psa 74:15 You broke open springs and torrents;
