Today's Date: 4/9/2025 ======= Psalm 75:1 ============ Psa 75:1 We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks, For Your name is near; Men declare Your wondrous works.(nas) Psa 75:1 εἰς τὸ τέλος μὴ διαφθείρῃς ψαλμὸς τῷ Ασαφ ᾠδῆς (lxx) Psa 75:1 [Vulgate 74:1] victori ut non disperdas psalmus Asaph cantici [Vulgate 74:2] confitebimur tibi Deus confitebimur et iuxta nomen tuum narrabunt mirabilia tua(vulgate) 1 ׃75 לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ אַל־תַּשְׁחֵ֑ת מִזְמ֖וֹר לְאָסָ֣ף שִֽׁיר׃ 2 ׃75 ה֘וֹדִ֤ינּוּ לְּךָ֨ ׀ אֱֽלֹהִ֗ים ה֭וֹדִינוּ וְקָר֣וֹב שְׁמֶ֑ךָ סִ֝פְּר֗וּ נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 75:1 (Ein Psa lm und Lied Asaphs, daß er nicht umkäme, vorzusingen.) For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:2 ============ Psa 75:2 "When I select an appointed time, It is I who judge with equity.(nas) Psa 75:2 ἐξομολογησόμεθά σοι ὁ θεός ἐξομολογησόμεθα καὶ ἐπικαλεσόμεθα τὸ ὄνομά σου (lxx) Psa 75:2 [Vulgate 74:3] cum accepero tempus ego iustitias iudicabo(vulgate) 3 ׃75 כִּ֭י אֶקַּ֣ח מוֹעֵ֑ד אֲ֝נִ֗י מֵישָׁרִ֥ים אֶשְׁפֹּֽט׃ Psalms Psa 75:2 "Denn zu seiner Zeit, so werde ich recht richten.(dhs) Psa 75:2 "When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:3 ============ Psa 75:3 "The earth and all who dwell in it melt; It is I who have firmly set its pillars. Selah.(nas) Psa 75:3 διηγήσομαι πάντα τὰ θαυμάσιά σου ὅταν λάβω καιρόν ἐγὼ εὐθύτητας κρινῶ (lxx) Psa 75:3 [Vulgate 74:4] dissolvetur terra cum omnibus habitatoribus suis ego adpendi columnas eius semper(vulgate) 4 ׃75 נְֽמֹגִ֗ים אֶ֥רֶץ וְכָל־יֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָ אָנֹכִ֨י תִכַּ֖נְתִּי עַמּוּדֶ֣יהָ סֶּֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 75:3 Das Land zittert und alle, die darin wohnen; aber ich halte seine Säulen fest." (Sela.)(dhs) Psa 75:3 The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved; I set up its pillars firmly. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:4 ============ Psa 75:4 "I said to the boastful, 'Do not boast, 'And to the wicked, 'Do not lift up the horn;(nas) Psa 75:4 ἐτάκη ἡ γῆ καὶ πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν αὐτῇ ἐγὼ ἐστερέωσα τοὺς στύλους αὐτῆς διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 75:4 [Vulgate 74:5] dixi inique agentibus nolite inique agere et impiis nolite exaltare cornu(vulgate) 5 ׃75 אָמַ֣רְתִּי לַֽ֭הוֹלְלִים אַל־תָּהֹ֑לּוּ וְ֝לָרְשָׁעִ֗ים אַל־תָּרִ֥ימוּ קָֽרֶן׃ Psalms Psa 75:4 Ich sprach zu den Ruhmredigen: Rühmet nicht so! und zu den Gottlosen: Pochet nicht auf Gewalt!(dhs) Psa 75:4 'I said to the boastful, 'Do not deal boastfully,' And to the wicked, 'Do not lift up the horn.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:5 ============ Psa 75:5 Do not lift up your horn on high, Do not speak with insolent pride.'"(nas) Psa 75:5 εἶπα τοῖς παρανομοῦσιν μὴ παρανομεῖτε καὶ τοῖς ἁμαρτάνουσιν μὴ ὑψοῦτε κέρας (lxx) Psa 75:5 [Vulgate 74:6] nolite exaltare in excelsum cornu vestrum loquentes in cervice veteri(vulgate) 6 ׃75 אַל־תָּרִ֣ימוּ לַמָּר֣וֹם קַרְנְכֶ֑ם תְּדַבְּר֖וּ בְצַוָּ֣אר עָתָֽק׃ Psalms Psa 75:5 pochet nicht so hoch auf eure Gewalt, redet nicht halsstarrig,(dhs) Psa 75:5 Do not lift up your horn on high; Do not speak with a stiff neck.' "(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:6 ============ Psa 75:6 For not from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the desert comes exaltation;(nas) Psa 75:6 μὴ ἐπαίρετε εἰς ὕψος τὸ κέρας ὑμῶν μὴ λαλεῖτε κατὰ τοῦ θεοῦ ἀδικίαν (lxx) Psa 75:6 [Vulgate 74:7] quia nec ab oriente neque ab occidente neque a solitudine montium(vulgate) 7 ׃75 כִּ֤י לֹ֣א מִ֭מּוֹצָא וּמִֽמַּעֲרָ֑ב וְ֝לֹ֗א מִמִּדְבַּ֥ר הָרִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 75:6 es habe keine Not, weder vom Anfang noch vom Niedergang noch von dem Gebirge in der Wüste.(dhs) Psa 75:6 For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:7 ============ Psa 75:7 But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.(nas) Psa 75:7 ὅτι οὔτε ἀπὸ ἐξόδων οὔτε ἀπὸ δυσμῶν οὔτε ἀπὸ ἐρήμων ὀρέων (lxx) Psa 75:7 [Vulgate 74:8] sed Deus iudex hunc humiliabit et hunc exaltabit(vulgate) 8 ׃75 כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֥ים שֹׁפֵ֑ט זֶ֥ה יַ֝שְׁפִּ֗יל וְזֶ֣ה יָרִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 75:7 Denn Gott ist Richter, der diesen erniedrigt und jenen erhöht.(dhs) Psa 75:7 But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:8 ============ Psa 75:8 For a cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams; It is well mixed, and He pours out of this; Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs.(nas) Psa 75:8 ὅτι ὁ θεὸς κριτής ἐστιν τοῦτον ταπεινοῖ καὶ τοῦτον ὑψοῖ (lxx) Psa 75:8 [Vulgate 74:9] quia calix in manu Domini est et vino meraco usque ad plenum mixtus et propinabit ex eo verumtamen feces eius epotabunt bibentes omnes impii terrae(vulgate) 9 ׃75 כִּ֤י כ֪וֹס בְּֽיַד־יְהוָ֡ה וְיַ֤יִן חָמַ֨ר ׀ מָ֥לֵא מֶסֶךְ֮ וַיַּגֵּ֢ר מִ֫זֶּ֥ה אַךְ־שְׁ֭מָרֶיהָ יִמְצ֣וּ יִשְׁתּ֑וּ כֹּ֝֗ל רִשְׁעֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃ Psalms Psa 75:8 Denn der HERR hat einen Becher in der Hand und mit starkem Wein voll eingeschenkt und schenkt aus demselben; aber die Gottlosen müssen alle trinken und die Hefen aussaufen.(dhs) Psa 75:8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, And the wine is red; It is fully mixed, and He pours it out; Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth Drain and drink down.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:9 ============ Psa 75:9 But as for me, I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.(nas) Psa 75:9 ὅτι ποτήριον ἐν χειρὶ κυρίου οἴνου ἀκράτου πλῆρες κεράσματος καὶ ἔκλινεν ἐκ τούτου εἰς τοῦτο πλὴν ὁ τρυγίας αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐξεκενώθη πίονται πάντες οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ τῆς γῆς (lxx) Psa 75:9 [Vulgate 74:10] ego autem adnuntiabo in sempiternum cantabo Deo Iacob(vulgate) 10 ׃75 וַ֭אֲנִי אַגִּ֣יד לְעֹלָ֑ם אֲ֝זַמְּרָ֗ה לֵאלֹהֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב׃ Psalms Psa 75:9 Ich aber will verkündigen ewiglich und lobsingen dem Gott Jakobs.(dhs) Psa 75:9 But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:10 ============ Psa 75:10 And all the horns of the wicked He will cut off, But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.(nas) Psa 75:10 καὶ πάντα τὰ κέρατα τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν συγκλάσω καὶ ὑψωθήσεται τὰ κέρατα τοῦ δικαίου (lxx) Psa 75:10 [Vulgate 74:11] et omnia cornua impiorum confringam exaltabuntur cornua iusti(vulgate) 11 ׃75 וְכָל־קַרְנֵ֣י רְשָׁעִ֣ים אֲגַדֵּ֑עַ תְּ֝רוֹמַ֗מְנָה קַֽרְנ֥וֹת צַדִּֽ֥[c]יק׃ Psalms Psa 75:10 "Und will alle Gewalt der Gottlosen zerbrechen, daß die Gewalt des Gerechten erhöht werde."(dhs) Psa 75:10 'All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 76:1 ============ top of the page
