Today's Date: 4/3/2025 ======= Psalm 120:1 ============ Psa 120:1 In my trouble I cried to the Lord, And He answered me.(nas) Psa 120:1 ᾠδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν πρὸς κύριον ἐν τῷ θλίβεσθαί με ἐκέκραξα καὶ εἰσήκουσέν μου (lxx) Psa 120:1 [Vulgate 119:1] canticum graduum ad Dominum in tribulatione mea clamavi et exaudivit me(vulgate) 1 ׃120 שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת אֶל־יְ֭הוָה בַּצָּרָ֣תָה לִּ֑י קָ֝רָ֗אתִי וֽ͏ַיַּעֲנֵֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 120:1 (Ein Lied im höhern Chor.) Ich rufe zu dem HERRN in meiner Not, und er erhört mich.(dhs) Psa 120:1 A Song of Ascents. In my distress I cried to the Lord, And He heard me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 120:2 ============ Psa 120:2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue.(nas) Psa 120:2 κύριε ῥῦσαι τὴν ψυχήν μου ἀπὸ χειλέων ἀδίκων καὶ ἀπὸ γλώσσης δολίας (lxx) Psa 120:2 [Vulgate 119:2] Domine libera animam meam a labio mendacii a lingua dolosa(vulgate) 2 ׃120 יְֽהוָ֗ה הַצִּ֣ילָה נַ֭פְשִׁי מִשְּׂפַת־שֶׁ֑קֶר מִלָּשׁ֥וֹן רְמִיָּֽה׃ Psalms Psa 120:2 HERR, errette meine Seele von den Lügenmäulern, von den falschen Zungen.(dhs) Psa 120:2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips And from a deceitful tongue.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 120:3 ============ Psa 120:3 What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, You deceitful tongue?(nas) Psa 120:3 τί δοθείη σοι καὶ τί προστεθείη σοι πρὸς γλῶσσαν δολίαν (lxx) Psa 120:3 [Vulgate 119:3] quid detur tibi aut quid adponatur tibi ad linguam dolosam(vulgate) 3 ׃120 מַה־יִּתֵּ֣ן לְ֭ךָ וּמַה־יֹּסִ֥יף לָ֗ךְ לָשׁ֥וֹן רְמִיָּֽה׃ Psalms Psa 120:3 Was kann mir die falsche Zunge tun, was kann sie ausrichten?(dhs) Psa 120:3 What shall be given to you, Or what shall be done to you, You false tongue?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 120:4 ============ Psa 120:4 Sharp arrows of the warrior, With the burning coals of the broom tree.(nas) Psa 120:4 τὰ βέλη τοῦ δυνατοῦ ἠκονημένα σὺν τοῖς ἄνθραξιν τοῖς ἐρημικοῖς (lxx) Psa 120:4 [Vulgate 119:4] sagittae potentis acutae cum carbonibus iuniperorum(vulgate) 4 ׃120 חִצֵּ֣י גִבּ֣וֹר שְׁנוּנִ֑ים עִ֝֗ם גַּחֲלֵ֥י רְתָמִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 120:4 Sie ist wie scharfe Pfeile eines Starken, wie Feuer in Wachholdern.(dhs) Psa 120:4 Sharp arrows of the warrior, With coals of the broom tree!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 120:5 ============ Psa 120:5 Woe is me, for I sojourn in Meshech, For I dwell among the tents of Kedar!(nas) Psa 120:5 οἴμμοι ὅτι ἡ παροικία μου ἐμακρύνθη κατεσκήνωσα μετὰ τῶν σκηνωμάτων Κηδαρ (lxx) Psa 120:5 [Vulgate 119:5] heu mihi quia peregrinatio mea prolongata est habitavi cum tabernaculis Cedar(vulgate) 5 ׃120 אֽוֹיָה־לִ֭י כִּי־גַ֣רְתִּי מֶ֑שֶׁךְ שָׁ֝כַ֗נְתִּי עִֽם־אָהֳלֵ֥י קֵדָֽר׃ Psalms Psa 120:5 Wehe mir, daß ich ein Fremdling bin unter Mesech; ich muß wohnen unter den Hütten Kedars.(dhs) Psa 120:5 Woe is me, that I dwell in Meshech, That I dwell among the tents of Kedar!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 120:6 ============ Psa 120:6 Too long has my soul had its dwelling With those who hate peace.(nas) Psa 120:6 πολλὰ παρῴκησεν ἡ ψυχή μου (lxx) Psa 120:6 [Vulgate 119:6] multum peregrinata est anima mea(vulgate) 6 ׃120 רַ֭בַּת שָֽׁכְנָה־לָּ֣הּ נַפְשִׁ֑י עִ֝֗ם שׂוֹנֵ֥א שָׁלֽוֹם׃ Psalms Psa 120:6 Es wird meiner Seele lang, zu wohnen bei denen, die den Frieden hassen.(dhs) Psa 120:6 My soul has dwelt too long With one who hates peace.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 120:7 ============ Psa 120:7 I am for peace, but when I speak, They are for war.(nas) Psa 120:7 μετὰ τῶν μισούντων τὴν εἰρήνην ἤμην εἰρηνικός ὅταν ἐλάλουν αὐτοῖς ἐπολέμουν με δωρεάν (lxx) Psa 120:7 [Vulgate 119:7] cum odientibus pacem ego pacifica loquebar et illi bellantia(vulgate) 7 ׃120 אֲֽנִי־שָׁ֭לוֹם וְכִ֣י אֲדַבֵּ֑ר הֵ֝֗מָּה לַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 120:7 Ich halte Frieden; aber wenn ich rede, so fangen sie Krieg an.(dhs) Psa 120:7 I am for peace; But when I speak, they are for war.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 121:1 ============ top of the page
