He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horsemen, and he stationed them in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem.(nas) 2Ch 1:14 καὶ συνήγαγεν Σαλωμων ἅρματα καὶ ἱππεῖς καὶ ἐγένοντο αὐτῷ χίλια καὶ τετρακόσια ἅρματα καὶ δώδεκα χιλιάδες ἱππέων καὶ κατέλιπεν αὐτὰ ἐν πόλεσιν τῶν ἁρμάτων καὶ ὁ λαὸς μετὰ τοῦ βασιλέως ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) 2Ch 1:14 Congregavitque sibi currus et equites, et facti sunt ei mille quadringenti currus, et duodecim millia equitum: et fecit eos esse in urbibus quadrigarum, et cum rege in Jerusalem.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 1:14 And Salomon gathered the charets and horesemen: and he had a thousand and foure hundreth charets, and twelue thousande horsemen, whome he placed in the charet cities, and with the King at Ierusalem.(Geneva) 2Ch 1:14 Und Salomo sammelte sich Wagen und Reiter, daß er zuwege brachte tausendundvierhundert Wagen und zwölftausend Reiter, und legte sie in die Wagenstädte und zu dem König nach Jerusalem.(dhs) 2Ch 1:14 And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; he had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 1:15 ============ 2Ch 1:15 The king made silver and gold as plentiful in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars as plentiful as sycamores in the lowland.(nas) 2Ch 1:15 καὶ ἔθηκεν ὁ βασιλεὺς τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ὡς λίθους καὶ τὰς κέδρους ἐν τῇ Ιουδαίᾳ ὡς συκαμίνους τὰς ἐν τῇ πεδινῇ εἰς πλῆθος (lxx) 2Ch 1:15 Præbuitque rex argentum et aurum in Jerusalem quasi lapides, et cedros quasi sycomoros quæ nascuntur in campestribus multitudine magna.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 1:15 And the King gaue siluer and gold at Ierusalem as stones, & gaue cedar trees as the wilde figge trees, that are abundantly in the playne.(Geneva) 2Ch 1:15 Und der König machte, daß des Silbers und Goldes so viel war zu Jerusalem wie die Steine und der Zedern wie die Maulbeerbäume in den Gründen.(dhs) 2Ch 1:15 Also the king made silver and gold as common in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars as abundant as the sycamores which are in the lowland.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 1:16 ============ 2Ch 1:16 Solomon's horses were imported from Egypt and from Kue; the king's traders procured them from Kue for a price.(nas) 2Ch 1:16 καὶ ἡ ἔξοδος τῶν ἵππων τῶν Σαλωμων ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἡ τιμὴ τῶν ἐμπόρων τοῦ βασιλέως ἐμπορεύεσθαι ἠγόραζον (lxx) 2Ch 1:16 Adducebantur autem ei equi de Ægypto et de Coa a negotiatoribus regis, qui ibant et emebant pretio,(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 1:16 Also Salomon had horses brought out of Egypt & fine linen: the Kings marchants receiued the fine linen for a price.(Geneva) 2Ch 1:16 Und man brachte Salomo Rosse aus Ägypten und allerlei Ware; und die Kaufleute des Königs kauften die Ware(dhs) 2Ch 1:16 And Solomon had horses imported from Egypt and Keveh; the king's merchants bought them in Keveh at the current price.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 1:17 ============ 2Ch 1:17 They imported chariots from Egypt for 600 shekels of silver apiece and horses for 150 apiece, and by the same means they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Aram. (nas) Ch2 1:17 καὶ ἀνέβαινον καὶ ἐξῆγον ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἅρμα ἓν ἑξακοσίων ἀργυρίου καὶ ἵππον ἑκατὸν καὶ πεντήκοντα καὶ οὕτως πᾶσιν τοῖς βασιλεῦσιν τῶν Χετταίων καὶ βασιλεῦσιν Συρίας ἐν χερσὶν αὐτῶν ἔφερον (lxx) 2Ch 1:17 quadrigam equorum sexcentis argenteis, et equum centum quinquaginta: similiter de universis regnis Hethæorum, et a regibus Syriæ emptio celebrabatur.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 1:17 They came vp also and brought out of Egypt some charet, worth sixe hundreth shekels of siluer, that is an horse for an hundreth and fiftie: and thus they brought horses to all the Kings of the Hittites, and to the Kings of Aram by their meanes.(Geneva) 2Ch 1:17 und brachten's aus Ägypten heraus, je einen Wagen um sechshundert Silberlinge, ein Roß um hundertfünfzig.
