Today's Date: ======= 2 Chronicles 5:1 ============ 2Ch 5:1 Thus all the work that Solomon performed for the house of the Lord was finished. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated, even the silver and the gold and all the utensils, and put them in the treasuries of the house of God.(nas) 2Ch 5:1 καὶ συνετελέσθη πᾶσα ἡ ἐργασία ἣν ἐποίησεν Σαλωμων ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν Σαλωμων τὰ ἅγια Δαυιδ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὰ σκεύη ἔδωκεν εἰς θησαυρὸν οἴκου κυρίου (lxx) 2Ch 5:1 Intulit igitur Salomon omnia quæ voverat David pater suus: argentum, et aurum, et universa vasa posuit in thesauris domus Dei.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 5:1 So was all the worke finished that Salomon made for the house of the Lord, and Salomon brought in the things that Dauid his father had dedicated, with the siluer and the golde, and all the vessels, and put them among the treasures of the house of God.(Geneva) 2Ch 5:1 Also ward alle Arbeit vollbracht, die Salomo tat am Hause des HERRN. Und die Leviten hoben die Lade auf(dhs) 2Ch 5:4 So all the elders of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 5:5 ============ 2Ch 5:5 They brought up the ark and the tent of meeting and all the holy utensils which were in the tent; the Levitical priests brought them up.(nas) 2Ch 5:5 καὶ ἀνήνεγκαν τὴν κιβωτὸν καὶ τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια τὰ ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ καὶ ἀνήνεγκαν αὐτὴν οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται (lxx) 2Ch 5:5 et intulerunt eam, et omnem paraturam tabernaculi. Porro vasa sanctuarii, quæ erant in tabernaculo, portaverunt sacerdotes cum Levitis.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 5:5 And they caried vp the Arke and the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and all the holy vessels that were in the Tabernacle, those did the Priests and Leuites bring vp.(Geneva) 2Ch 5:5 und brachten sie hinauf samt der Hütte des Stifts und allem heiligen Gerät, das in der Hütte war; es brachten sie hinauf die Priester, die Leviten.(dhs) 2Ch 5:5 Then they brought up the ark, the tabernacle of meeting, and all the holy furnishings that were in the tabernacle. Fuit itaque arca ibi usque in præsentem diem.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 5:9 And they drewe out the barres, that the endes of the barres might bee seene out of the Arke before the Oracle, but they were not seene without: and there they are vnto this day.(Geneva) 2Ch 5:9 Die Stangen aber waren so lang, daß man ihre Knäufe sah von der Lade her vor dem Chor; aber außen sah man sie nicht. Und sie war daselbst bis auf diesen Tag.(dhs) 2Ch 5:9 And the poles extended so that the ends of the poles of the ark could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 5:10 ============ 2Ch 5:10 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the sons of Israel, when they came out of Egypt. (nas) 2Ch 5:10 οὐκ ἦν ἐν τῇ κιβωτῷ πλὴν δύο πλάκες ἃς ἔθηκεν Μωυσῆς ἐν Χωρηβ ἃ διέθετο κύριος μετὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου (lxx) 2Ch 5:10 Nihilque erat aliud in arca, nisi duæ tabulæ quas posuerat Moyses in Horeb, quando legem dedit Dominus filiis Israël egredientibus ex Ægypto.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 5:10 Nothing was in the Arke, saue the two Tables, which Moses gaue at Horeb, where the Lorde made a couenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.(Geneva) 2Ch 5:10 Und war nichts in der Lade außer den zwei Tafeln, die Mose am Horeb ἦσαν διατεταγμένοι κατ᾽ ἐφημερίαν (lxx) 2Ch 5:11 Egressis autem sacerdotibus de sanctuario (omnes enim sacerdotes qui ibi potuerant inveniri, sanctificati sunt: nec adhuc in illo tempore vices et ministeriorum ordo inter eos divisus erat),(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 5:11 And when the Priestes were come out of the Sanctuarie (for all the Priests that were present, were sanctified & did not waite by 5:11 And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions),(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 5:12 ============ 2Ch 5:12 and all the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and kinsmen, clothed in fine linen, with cymbals, harps and lyres, standing east of the altar, and with them one hundred and twenty priests blowing trumpets(nas) 2Ch 5:12 καὶ οἱ Λευῖται οἱ ψαλτῳδοὶ πάντες τοῖς υἱοῖς Ασαφ τῷ Αιμαν τῷ Ιδιθουν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτῶν καὶ τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτῶν trumpets--(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 5:13 ============ 2Ch 5:13 in unison when the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and when they praised the Lord saying, "He indeed is good for His lovingkindness is everlasting," then the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,(nas) 2Ch 5:13 καὶ ἐγένετο μία φωνὴ ἐν τῷ σαλπίζειν καὶ ἐν τῷ ψαλτῳδεῖν καὶ ἐν τῷ ἀναφωνεῖν φωνῇ μιᾷ τοῦ ἐξομολογεῖσθαι καὶ αἰνεῖν τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ὡς ὕψωσαν φωνὴν ἐν σάλπιγξιν καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν ὀργάνοις τῶν ᾠδῶν καὶ ἔλεγον ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῷ κυρίῳ ὅτι ἀγαθόν ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ οἶκος ἐνεπλήσθη νεφέλης δόξης κυρίου (lxx) 2Ch 5:13 Igitur cunctis pariter, et tubis, et voce, et cymbalis, et organis, et diversi generis musicorum concinentibus, et vocem in sublime tollentibus, longe sonitus audiebatur, ita ut cum Dominum laudare cœpissent et dicere: Confitemini Domino quoniam bonus, quoniam in æternum misericordia ejus: impleretur domus Dei nube,(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 5:13 And they were as one, blowing trumpets, and singing, and made one sounde to bee heard in praysing and thanking the Lorde, and when they lift vp their voyce with trumpets and with cymbales, and with instruments of musicke, and when they praysed the Lord, singing, For he is good, because his mercie lasteth for euer) then the house, euen the house of the Lorde was filled with a cloude,(Geneva) 2Ch 5:13 und es war, als wäre es einer, der drommetete und sänge, als hörte man eine Stimme loben und danken dem HERRN. Und da die Stimme sich erhob von den Drommeten, Zimbeln und Saitenspielen und von dem Loben des HERRN, daß er gütig ist und seine Barmherzigkeit ewig währet, da ward das Haus des HERRN erfüllt mit einer Wolke,(dhs) 2Ch 5:13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: "For He is good, For His mercy endures forever," that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud,(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 5:14 ============ 2Ch 5:14 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. (nas) 2Ch 5:14 καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο οἱ ἱερεῖς τοῦ στῆναι λειτουργεῖν ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς νεφέλης ὅτι ἐνέπλησεν δόξα κυρίου τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ (lxx) 2Ch 5:14 nec possent sacerdotes stare et ministrare propter caliginem. Compleverat enim gloria Domini domum Dei.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 5:14 So that the Priests could not stand to minister, because of the cloude: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.(Geneva) 2Ch 5:14 daß die Priester nicht stehen konnten, zu dienen vor der Wolke; denn die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllte das Haus Gottes.(dhs) 2Ch 5:14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 6:1 ============ 2Ch 6:1 Then Solomon said, "The Lord has said that He would dwell in the thick cloud.(nas) 2Ch 6:1 τότε εἶπεν Σαλωμων κύριος εἶπεν τοῦ κατασκηνῶσαι ἐν γνόφῳ (lxx) 2Ch 6:1 Tunc Salomon ait: Dominus pollicitus est ut habitaret in caligine:(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 6:1 Then Salomon sayd, The Lord hath sayde that he would dwell in the darke cloude:(Geneva) 2Ch 6:1 Da sprach Salomo: Der HERR hat geredet, er wolle wohnen im Dunkel.(dhs) 2Ch 6:1 Then Solomon spoke: "The Lord said He would dwell in the dark cloud.(nkjv) |
