Dixit enim rex: Non habitabit uxor mea in domo David regis Israël, eo quod sanctificata sit: quia ingressa est in eam arca Domini.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 8:11 Then Salomon brought vp the daughter of Pharaoh out of the citie of Dauid, into the house that he had built for her: for he saide, My wife shall not dwel in the house of Dauid King of Israel: for it is holy, because that the Arke of the Lorde came vnto it.(Geneva) 2Ch 8:11 Und die Tochter Pharaos ließ Salomo heraufholen aus der Stadt Davids in das Haus, das er für sie gebaut hatte. for so David the man of God had commanded.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 8:15 ============ 2Ch 8:15 And they did not depart from the commandment of the king to the priests and Levites in any manner or concerning the storehouses.(nas) 2Ch 8:15 οὐ παρῆλθον τὰς ἐντολὰς τοῦ βασιλέως περὶ τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν εἰς πάντα λόγον καὶ εἰς τοὺς θησαυρούς (lxx) 2Ch 8:15 Nec prætergressi sunt de mandatis regis tam sacerdotes quam Levitæ, ex omnibus quæ præceperat, et in custodiis thesaurorum.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 8:15 And they declined not from the commandement of the King, concerning the Priests and the Leuites, touching al things, and touching the treasures.(Geneva) 2Ch 8:15 Und es ward nicht gewichen vom Gebot des Königs über die Priester und Leviten in allerlei Sachen und bei den Schätzen.(dhs) 2Ch 8:15 They did not depart from the command of the king to the priests and Levites concerning any matter or concerning the treasuries.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 8:16 ============ 2Ch 8:16 Thus all the work of Solomon was carried out from the day of the foundation of the house of the Lord, and until it was finished. So the house of the Lord was completed.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 8:17 ============ 2Ch 8:17 Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the seashore in the land of Edom.(nas) 2Ch 8:17 τότε ᾤχετο Σαλωμων εἰς Γασιωνγαβερ καὶ εἰς τὴν Αιλαθ τὴν παραθαλασσίαν ἐν γῇ Ιδουμαίᾳ (lxx) 2Ch 8:17 Tunc abiit Salomon in Asiongaber, et in Ailath ad oram maris Rubri, quæ est in terra Edom.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 8:17 Then went Salomon to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth by the sea side in the lande of Edom.(Geneva) 2Ch 8:17 Da zog Salomo gen Ezeon-Geber und gen Eloth an dem Ufer des Meeres im Lande Edom.(dhs) 2Ch 8:17 Then Solomon went to Ezion Geber and Elath on the seacoast, in the land of Edom.(nkjv) ======= 2 Chronicles 8:18 ============ 2Ch 8:18 And Huram by his servants sent him ships and servants who knew the sea; and they went with Solomon's servants to Ophir, and took from there four hundred and fifty talents of gold and brought them to King Solomon. (nas) 2Ch 8:18 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Χιραμ ἐν χειρὶ παίδων αὐτοῦ πλοῖα καὶ παῖδας εἰδότας θάλασσαν καὶ ᾤχοντο μετὰ τῶν παίδων Σαλωμων εἰς Σωφιρα καὶ ἔλαβον ἐκεῖθεν τετρακόσια καὶ πεντήκοντα τάλαντα χρυσίου καὶ ἦλθον πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Σαλωμων (lxx) 2Ch 8:18 Misit autem ei Hiram per manus servorum suorum naves, et nautas gnaros maris, et abierunt cum servis Salomonis in Ophir, tuleruntque inde quadringenta quinquaginta talenta auri, et attulerunt ad regem Salomonem.(vulgate) 2 Chronicles 8:18 And Huram sent him by the handes of his seruants, shippes, and seruants that had knowledge of the sea: and they went with the seruants of Salomon to Ophir, and brought thence foure hundreth and fiftie talents of golde, and brought them to King Salomon.(Geneva) 2Ch 8:18 Und Huram sandte ihm Schiffe durch seine Knechte, die des Meeres kundig waren und sie fuhren mit den Knechten Salomos gen Ophir und holten von da vierhundertundfünfzig Zentner Gold und brachten's dem König Salomo.(dhs) 2Ch 8:18 And Hiram sent him ships by the hand of his servants, and servants who knew the sea.
