Then cause her to know all her abominations. (nas) Eze 22:2 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου εἰ κρινεῖς τὴν πόλιν τῶν αἱμάτων καὶ παράδειξον αὐτῇ πάσας τὰς ἀνομίας αὐτῆς (lxx) Eze 22:2 Et tu, fili hominis, nonne judicas, nonne judicas civitatem sanguinum?(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:2 Now thou sonne of man, wilt thou iudge, wilt thou iudge this bloody citie? wilt thou shew her all her abominations?(Geneva) Eze 22:2 Du Menschenkind, willst du nicht strafen die mörderische Stadt und ihr anzeigen alle ihre Greuel?(dhs) Eze 22:2 "Now, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Yes, show her all her abominations!(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:3 ============ Eze 22:3 You shall say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "A city shedding blood in her midst, so that her time will come, and that makes idols, contrary to her interest, for defilement! (nas) Eze 22:3 καὶ ἐρεῖς τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ὦ πόλις ἐκχέουσα αἵματα ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς τοῦ ἐλθεῖν καιρὸν αὐτῆς καὶ ποιοῦσα ἐνθυμήματα καθ᾽ αὑτῆς τοῦ μιαίνειν αὐτήν (lxx) Eze 22:3 Et ostendes ei omnes abominationes suas, et dices: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Civitas effundens sanguinem in medio sui, ut veniat tempus ejus: et quæ fecit idola contra semetipsam, ut pollueretur.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:3 Then say, Thus sayth the Lorde God, The citie sheddeth blood in the middes of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against her selfe to pollute her selfe.(Geneva) Eze 22:3 Sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR: O Stadt, die du der Deinen Blut vergießest, auf daß deine Zeit komme, und die du Götzen bei dir machst, dadurch du dich verunreinigst!(dhs) Eze 22:3 Then say, 'Thus says the Lord God: "The city sheds blood in her own midst, that her time may come; and she makes idols within herself to defile herself.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:4 ============ Eze 22:4 You have become guilty by the blood which you have shed, and defiled by your idols which you have made. Thus you have brought your day near and have come to your years; therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations and a mocking to all the lands. (nas) Eze 22:4 ἐν τοῖς αἵμασιν αὐτῶν οἷς ἐξέχεας παραπέπτωκας καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐνθυμήμασίν σου οἷς ἐποίεις ἐμιαίνου καὶ ἤγγισας τὰς ἡμέρας σου καὶ ἤγαγες καιρὸν ἐτῶν σου διὰ τοῦτο δέδωκά σε εἰς ὄνειδος τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ εἰς ἐμπαιγμὸν πάσαις ταῖς χώραις (lxx) Eze 22:4 In sanguine tuo, qui a te effusus est, deliquisti, et in idolis tuis, quæ fecisti, polluta es: et appropinquare fecisti dies tuos, et adduxisti tempus annorum tuorum: propterea dedi te opprobrium gentibus, et irrisionem universis terris.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:4 Thou hast offended in thy blood, that thou hast shed, & hast polluted thy selfe in thine idols, which thou hast made, and thou hast caused thy dayes to draw neere, & art come vnto thy terme: therefore haue I made thee a reproch to the heathen, and a mocking to all countreys.(Geneva) Eze 22:4 Du verschuldest dich an dem Blut, das du vergießt, und verunreinigst dich an den Götzen, die du machst; damit bringst du deine Tage herzu und machst, daß deine Jahre kommen müssen. Darum will ich dich zum Spott unter den Heiden und zum Hohn in allen Ländern machen.(dhs) Eze 22:4 You have become guilty by the blood which you have shed, and have defiled yourself with the idols which you have made. You have caused your days to draw near, and have come to the end of your years; therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mockery to all countries.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:5 ============ Eze 22:5 Those who are near and those who are far from you will mock you, you of ill repute, full of turmoil. (nas) Eze 22:5 ταῖς ἐγγιζούσαις πρὸς σὲ καὶ ταῖς μακρὰν ἀπεχούσαις ἀπὸ σοῦ καὶ ἐμπαίξονται ἐν σοί ἀκάθαρτος ἡ ὀνομαστὴ καὶ πολλὴ ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις (lxx) Eze 22:5 Quæ juxta sunt, et quæ procul a te, triumphabunt de te, sordida, nobilis, grandis interitu.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:5 Those that be neere, & those that be farre from thee, shall mocke thee, which art vile in name and sore in affliction.(Geneva) Eze 22:5 In der Nähe und in der Ferne sollen sie dein spotten, daß du ein schändlich Gerücht haben und großen Jammer leiden müssest.(dhs) Eze 22:5 Those near and those far from you will mock you as infamous and full of tumult.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:6 ============ Eze 22:6 "Behold, the rulers of Israel, each according to his power, have been in you for the purpose of shedding blood. (nas) Eze 22:6 ἰδοὺ οἱ ἀφηγούμενοι οἴκου Ισραηλ ἕκαστος πρὸς τοὺς συγγενεῖς αὐτοῦ συνανεφύροντο ἐν σοί ὅπως ἐκχέωσιν αἷμα (lxx) Eze 22:6 Ecce principes Israël singuli in brachio suo fuerunt in te, ad effundendum sanguinem.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:6 Beholde, the princes of Israel euery one in thee was ready to his power, to shed blood.(Geneva) Eze 22:6 Siehe, die Fürsten in Israel, ein jeglicher ist mächtig bei dir, Blut zu vergießen.(dhs) Eze 22:6 "Look, the princes of Israel: each one has used his power to shed blood in you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:7 ============ Eze 22:7 They have treated father and mother lightly within you. The alien they have oppressed in your midst; the fatherless and the widow they have wronged in you. (nas) Eze 22:8 καὶ τὰ ἅγιά μου ἐξουδένουν καὶ τὰ σάββατά μου ἐβεβήλουν ἐν σοί (lxx) Eze 22:8 Sanctuaria mea sprevisti, et sabbata mea polluisti.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:8 Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast polluted my Sabbaths.(Geneva) Eze 22:8 Du verachtest meine Heiligtümer und entheiligst meine Sabbate.(dhs) Eze 22:8 You have despised My holy things and profaned My Sabbaths.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:9 ============ Eze 22:9 Slanderous men have been in you for the purpose of shedding blood, and in you they have eaten at the mountain shrines. In your midst they have committed acts of lewdness. (nas) Eze 22:9 ἄνδρες λῃσταὶ ἐν σοί ὅπως ἐκχέωσιν ἐν σοὶ αἷμα καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων ἤσθοσαν ἐν σοί ἀνόσια ἐποίουν ἐν μέσῳ σου (lxx) Eze 22:9 Viri detractores fuerunt in te ad effundendum sanguinem, et super montes comederunt in te: scelus operati sunt in medio tui.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:9 In thee are men that cary tales to shed blood: in thee are they that eate vpon the mountaines: in ye mids of thee they comit abomination.(Geneva) Eze 22:9 Verräter sind in dir, auf daß sie Blut vergießen. (nas) Eze 22:10 αἰσχύνην πατρὸς ἀπεκάλυψαν ἐν σοὶ καὶ ἐν ἀκαθαρσίαις ἀποκαθημένην ἐταπείνουν ἐν σοί (lxx) Eze 22:10 Verecundiora patris discooperuerunt in te; immunditiam menstruatæ humiliaverunt in te:(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:10 In thee haue they discouered their fathers shame: in thee haue they vexed her that was polluted in her floures.(Geneva) Eze 22:10 sie decken auf die Blöße der Väter und nötigen die Weiber in ihrer Krankheit(dhs) Eze 22:10 In you men uncover their fathers' nakedness; in you they violate women who are set apart during their impurity.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:11 ============ Eze 22:11 One has committed abomination with his neighbor's wife and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law. And another in you has humbled his sister, his father's daughter. (nas) Eze 22:11 ἕκαστος τὴν γυναῖκα τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ ἠνομοῦσαν καὶ ἕκαστος τὴν νύμφην αὐτοῦ ἐμίαινεν ἐν ἀσεβείᾳ καὶ ἕκαστος τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτοῦ θυγατέρα τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἐταπείνουν ἐν σοί (lxx) Eze 22:11 et unusquisque in uxorem proximi sui operatus est abominationem, et socer nurum suam polluit nefarie: frater sororem suam, filiam patris sui, oppressit in te.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:11 And euery one hath committed abomination with his neighbours wife, and euery one hath wickedly defiled his daughter in lawe, and in thee hath euery man forced his owne sister, euen his fathers daughter.(Geneva) Eze 22:11 und treiben untereinander, Freund mit Freundes Weibe, Greuel; sie schänden ihre eigene Schwiegertochter mit allem Mutwillen; sie notzüchtigen ihre eigenen Schwestern, ihres Vaters Töchter;(dhs) Eze 22:11 One commits abomination with his neighbor's wife; another lewdly defiles his daughter-in-law; and another in you violates his sister, his father's daughter.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:12 ============ Eze 22:12 In you they have taken bribes to shed blood; you have taken interest and profits, and you have injured your neighbors for gain by oppression, and you have forgotten Me," declares the Lord God. (nas) Eze 22:12 δῶρα ἐλαμβάνοσαν ἐν σοί ὅπως ἐκχέωσιν αἷμα τόκον καὶ πλεονασμὸν ἐλαμβάνοσαν ἐν σοί καὶ συνετελέσω συντέλειαν κακίας σου τὴν ἐν καταδυναστείᾳ ἐμοῦ δὲ ἐπελάθου λέγει κύριος (lxx) Eze 22:12 Munera acceperunt apud te ad effundendum sanguinem: usuram et superabundantiam accepisti, et avare proximos tuos calumniabaris: meique oblita es, ait Dominus Deus.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:12 In thee haue they taken giftes to shed blood: thou hast taken vsurie and the encrease, and thou hast defrauded thy neighbours by extortion, & hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God.(Geneva) Eze 22:12 sie nehmen Geschenke, auf daß sie Blut vergießen; sie wuchern und nehmen Zins voneinander und treiben ihren Geiz wider ihren Nächsten und tun einander Gewalt und vergessen mein also, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 22:12 In you they take bribes to shed blood; you take usury and increase; you have made profit from your neighbors by extortion, and have forgotten Me," says the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:13 ============ Eze 22:13 "Behold, then, I smite My hand at your dishonest gain which you have acquired and at the bloodshed which is among you. (nas) Eze 22:13 ἐὰν δὲ πατάξω χεῖρά μου πρὸς χεῖρά μου ἐφ᾽ οἷς συντετέλεσαι οἷς ἐποίησας καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς αἵμασίν σου τοῖς γεγενημένοις ἐν μέσῳ σου (lxx) Eze 22:13 Ecce complosi manus meas super avaritiam tuam quam fecisti, et super sanguinem qui effusus est in medio tui.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:13 Beholde, therefore I haue smitten mine hands vpon thy couetousnesse, that thou hast vsed, and vpon the blood, which hath bene in the middes of thee.(Geneva) Eze 22:13 Siehe, ich schlage meine Hände zusammen über den Geiz, den du treibst, und über das Blut, so in dir vergossen ist.(dhs) Eze 22:13 "Behold, therefore, I beat My fists at the dishonest profit which you have made, and at the bloodshed which has been in your midst.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:14 ============ Eze 22:14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong in the days that I will deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken and will act. (nas) Eze 22:14 εἰ ὑποστήσεται ἡ καρδία σου εἰ κρατήσουσιν αἱ χεῖρές σου ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις αἷς ἐγὼ ποιῶ ἐν σοί ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα καὶ ποιήσω (lxx) Eze 22:14 Numquid sustinebit cor tuum, aut prævalebunt manus tuæ, in diebus quos ego faciam tibi? Ego Dominus locutus sum, et faciam.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:14 Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the dayes that I shall haue to doe with thee? (nas) Eze 22:18 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἰδοὺ γεγόνασί μοι ὁ οἶκος Ισραηλ ἀναμεμειγμένοι πάντες χαλκῷ καὶ σιδήρῳ καὶ κασσιτέρῳ καὶ μολίβῳ ἐν μέσῳ ἀργυρίου ἀναμεμειγμένος ἐστίν (lxx) Eze 22:18 Fili hominis, versa est mihi domus Israël in scoriam: omnes isti æs, et stannum, et ferrum, et plumbum in medio fornacis: scoria argenti facti sunt.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:18 Sonne of man, the house of Israel is vnto me as drosse: all they are brasse, and tinne, and yron, and leade in the mids of the fornace: they are euen the drosse of siluer.(Geneva) Eze 22:18 Du Menschenkind, das Haus Israel ist mir zu Schlacken geworden und sind alle Erz, Zinn, Eisen und Blei im Ofen; ja, zu Silberschlacken sind sie geworden.(dhs) Eze 22:18 "Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me; they are all bronze, tin, iron, and lead, in the midst of a furnace; they have become dross from silver.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:19 ============ Eze 22:19 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, 'Because all of you have become dross, therefore, behold, I am going to gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. (nas) Eze 22:19 διὰ τοῦτο εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐγένεσθε πάντες εἰς σύγκρασιν μίαν διὰ τοῦτο ἐγὼ εἰσδέχομαι ὑμᾶς εἰς μέσον Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) Eze 22:19 Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Eo quod versi estis omnes in scoriam, propterea ecce ego congregabo vos in medio Jerusalem,(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:19 Therefore, thus sayth the Lorde God, Because ye are all as drosse, beholde, therefore I will gather you in the middes of Ierusalem.(Geneva) Eze 22:19 Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Weil ihr denn alle Schlacken geworden seid, siehe, so will ich euch alle gen Jerusalem zusammentun.(dhs) Eze 22:19 Therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Because you have all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:20 ============ Eze 22:20 As they gather silver and bronze and iron and lead and tin into the furnace to blow fire on it in order to melt it, so I will gather you in My anger and in My wrath and I will lay you there and melt you. (nas) Eze 22:20 καθὼς εἰσδέχεται ἄργυρος καὶ χαλκὸς καὶ σίδηρος καὶ κασσίτερος καὶ μόλιβος εἰς μέσον καμίνου τοῦ ἐκφυσῆσαι εἰς αὐτὸ πῦρ τοῦ χωνευθῆναι οὕτως εἰσδέξομαι ὑμᾶς ἐν ὀργῇ μου καὶ συνάξω καὶ χωνεύσω ὑμᾶς (lxx) Eze 22:20 congregatione argenti, et æris, et stanni, et ferri, et plumbi, in medio fornacis, ut succendam in ea ignem ad conflandum. Sic congregabo in furore meo, et in ira mea: et requiescam, et conflabo vos.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:20 As they gather siluer and brasse, and yron, and leade, and tinne into the middes of the fornace, to blowe the fire vpon it to melt it, so wil I gather you in mine anger and in my wrath, and wil put you there and melt you.(Geneva) Eze 22:20 Wie man Silber, Erz, Eisen, Blei und Zinn zusammentut im Ofen, daß man ein Feuer darunter aufblase und zerschmelze es, also will ich euch auch in meinem Zorn und Grimm zusammentun, einlegen und schmelzen.(dhs) Eze 22:20 As men gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there and melt you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:21 ============ Eze 22:21 I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you will be melted in the midst of it. (nas) Eze 22:21 καὶ ἐκφυσήσω ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἐν πυρὶ ὀργῆς μου καὶ χωνευθήσεσθε ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς (lxx) Eze 22:21 Et congregabo vos, et succendam vos in igne furoris mei, et conflabimini in medio ejus.(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:21 I wil gather you, I say, and blowe the fire of my wrath vpon you, and you shalbe melted in the mids thereof.(Geneva) Eze 22:21 Ja ich will euch sammeln und das Feuer meines Zorns unter euch aufblasen, daß ihr darin zerschmelzen müsset.(dhs) Eze 22:21 Yes, I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 22:22 ============ Eze 22:22 As silver is melted in the furnace, so you will be melted in the midst of it; and you will know that I, the Lord, have poured out My wrath on you.'"(nas) Eze 22:22 ὃν τρόπον χωνεύεται ἀργύριον ἐν μέσῳ καμίνου οὕτως χωνευθήσεσθε ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος ἐξέχεα τὸν θυμόν μου ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς (lxx) Eze 22:22 Ut conflatur argentum in medio fornacis, sic eritis in medio ejus: et scietis quia ego Dominus cum effuderim indignationem meam super vos.~(vulgate) Ezekiel 22:22 As siluer is melted in the mids of the fornace, so shal ye be melted in the mids thereof, and ye shall knowe, that I the Lord haue powred out my wrath vpon you.(Geneva) Eze 22:22 Wie das Silber zerschmilzt im Ofen, so sollt ihr auch darin zerschmelzen und erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, meinen Grimm über euch ausgeschüttet habe.(dhs) Eze 22:22 As silver is melted in the midst of a furnace, so shall you be melted in its midst; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have poured out My fury on you.'
