And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the Lord of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:2 ============ Mal 4:2 "But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.(nas) Mal 4:2 καὶ ἀνατελεῖ ὑμῖν τοῖς φοβουμένοις τὸ ὄνομά μου ἥλιος δικαιοσύνης καὶ ἴασις ἐν ταῖς πτέρυξιν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξελεύσεσθε καὶ σκιρτήσετε ὡς μοσχάρια ἐκ δεσμῶν ἀνειμένα (lxx) Mal 4:2 Et orietur vobis timentibus nomen meum sol justitiæ, et sanitas in pennis ejus: et egrediemini, et salietis sicut vituli de armento.(vulgate) Malachi 4:2 But vnto you that feare my Name, shall the sunne of righteousnesse arise, and health shall be vnder his wings, and ye shall goe forth, & growe vp as fat calues.(Geneva) Mal 4:2 Euch aber, die ihr meinen Namen fürchtet, soll aufgehen die Sonne der Gerechtigkeit und Heil unter ihren Flügeln; und ihr sollt aus und eingehen und hüpfen wie die Mastkälber.(dhs) Mal 4:2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:3 ============ Mal 4:3 You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing," says the Lord of hosts.(nas) Mal 4:3 καὶ καταπατήσετε ἀνόμους διότι ἔσονται σποδὸς ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐγὼ ποιῶ λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (lxx) Mal 4:3 Et calcabitis impios, cum fuerint cinis sub planta pedum vestrorum, in die qua ego facio, dicit Dominus exercituum.(vulgate) Malachi 4:3 And ye shall treade downe the wicked: for they shall be dust vnder the soles of your feete in the day that I shall doe this, sayeth the Lorde of hostes.(Geneva) Mal 4:3 Ihr werdet die Gottlosen zertreten; denn sie sollen Asche unter euren Füßen werden des Tages, den ich machen will, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.(dhs) Mal 4:3 You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this," Says the Lord of hosts.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:4 ============ Mal 4:4 "Remember the law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.(nas) Mal 4:4 καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω ὑμῖν Ηλιαν τὸν Θεσβίτην πρὶν ἐλθεῖν ἡμέραν κυρίου τὴν μεγάλην καὶ ἐπιφανῆ (lxx) Mal 4:4 Mementote legis Moysi servi mei, quam mandavi ei in Horeb ad omnem Israël, præcepta et judicia.(vulgate) Malachi 4:4 Remember the lawe of Moses my seruant, which I commanded vnto him in Horeb for all Israel with the statutes and iudgements.(Geneva) Mal 4:4 Gedenkt des Gesetzes Mose's, meines Knechtes, das ich ihm befohlen habe auf dem Berge Horeb an das ganze Israel samt den Geboten und Rechten.(dhs) Mal 4:4 "Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:5 ============ Mal 4:5 "Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord.(nas) Mal 4:5 ὃς ἀποκαταστήσει καρδίαν πατρὸς πρὸς υἱὸν καὶ καρδίαν ἀνθρώπου πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ μὴ ἔλθω καὶ πατάξω τὴν γῆν ἄρδην (lxx) Mal 4:5 Ecce ego mittam vobis Eliam prophetam, antequam veniat dies Domini magnus et horribilis.(vulgate) Malachi 4:5 Beholde, I will sende you Eliiah the Prophet before the comming of the great and fearefull day of the Lord.(Geneva) Mal 4:5 Siehe, ich will euch senden den Propheten Elia, ehe denn da komme der große und schreckliche Tag des HERRN.(dhs) Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:6 ============ Mal 4:6 He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse."
