And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.(KJV) Judges 4:9 Then shee answered, I will surely goe with thee, but this iourney that thou takest, shall not be for thine honour: for the Lord shal sell Sisera into the hand of a woman; Deborah arose & went with Barak to Kedesh.(Geneva) Juges 4:9 Elle répondit: J'irai bien avec toi; mais tu n'auras point de gloire sur la voie où tu marches, car l'Eternel livrera Sisera entre les mains d'une femme. Et Débora se leva, et elle se rendit avec Barak à Kédesch.(FR) 9 ׃4 וַתֹּ֜אמֶר הָלֹ֧ךְ אֵלֵ֣ךְ עִמָּ֗ךְ אֶ֚פֶס כִּי֩ לֹ֨א תִֽהְיֶ֜ה תִּֽפְאַרְתְּךָ֗ עַל־הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַתָּ֣ה הוֹלֵ֔ךְ כִּ֣י בְֽיַד־אִשָּׁ֔ה יִמְכֹּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־סִֽיסְרָ֑א וַתָּ֧קָם דְּבוֹרָ֛ה וַתֵּ֥לֶך עִם־בָּרָ֖ק קֶֽדְשָׁה׃ Judges Jdg 4:9 She said, "I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the honor shall not be yours on the journey that you are about to take, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hands of a woman." So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.(KJV) Judges 4:14 Then Deborah sayd vnto Barak, Vp: for this is the day that the Lord hath deliuered Sisera into thine hand. Et Barak descendit du mont Thabor, ayant dix mille hommes à sa suite.(FR) 14 ׃4 וַתֹּאמֶר֩ דְּבֹרָ֨ה אֶל־בָּרָ֜ק ק֗וּם כִּ֣י זֶ֤ה הַיּוֹם֙ אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן יְהוָ֤ה אֶת־סִֽיסְרָא֙ בְּיָדֶ֔ךָ הֲלֹ֥א יְהוָ֖ה יָצָ֣א לְפָנֶ֑יךָ וַיֵּ֤רֶד בָּרָק֙ מֵהַ֣ר תָּב֔וֹר וַעֲשֶׂ֧רֶת אֲלָפִ֛ים אִ֖ישׁ אַחֲרָֽיו׃ Judges Jdg 4:14 Deborah said to Barak, "Arise! For this is the day in which the Lord has given Sisera into your hands; behold, the Lord has gone out before you." So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.(nasb) ======= Judges 4:15 ============ Jdg 4:15 And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.(KJV) Judges 4:15 And the Lorde destroyed Sisera and all his charets, & al his hoste with the edge of the sword before Barak, so that Sisera lighted downe off his charet, and fled away on his feete.(Geneva) Juges 4:15 L'Eternel mit en déroute devant Barak, par le tranchant de l'épée, Sisera, tous ses chars et tout le camp. Sisera descendit de son char, et s'enfuit à pied.(FR) 15 ׃4 וַיָּ֣הָם יְ֠הוָה אֶת־סִֽיסְרָ֨א וְאֶת־כָּל־הָרֶ֧כֶב וְאֶת־כָּל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֛ה לְפִי־חֶ֖רֶב לִפְנֵ֣י בָרָ֑ק וַיֵּ֧רֶד סִֽיסְרָ֛א מֵעַ֥ל הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֖ה וַיָּ֥נָס בְּרַגְלָֽיו׃ Judges Jdg 4:15 The Lord routed Sisera and all his chariots and all his army with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot and fled away on foot.(nasb) ======= Judges 4:16 ============ Jdg 4:16 But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.(KJV) Judges 4:16 But Barak pursued after the charets, and after the hoste vnto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the hoste of Sisera fel vpon the edge of the sworde: there was not a man left.(Geneva) Juges 4:16 Barak poursuivit les chars et l'armée jusqu'à Haroscheth-Goïm; et toute l'armée de Sisera tomba sous le tranchant de l'épée, sans qu'il en restât un seul homme.(FR) 16 ׃4 וּבָרָ֗ק רָדַ֞ף אַחֲרֵ֤י הָרֶ֙כֶב֙ וְאַחֲרֵ֣י הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה עַ֖ד חֲרֹ֣שֶׁת הַגּוֹיִ֑ם וַיִּפֹּ֞ל כָּל־מַחֲנֵ֤ה סִֽיסְרָא֙ לְפִי־חֶ֔רֶב לֹ֥א נִשְׁאַ֖ר עַד־אֶחָֽד׃ Judges Jdg 4:16 But Barak pursued the chariots and the army as far as Harosheth-hagoyim, and all the army of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword; not even one was left.(nasb) ======= Judges 4:17 ============ Jdg 4:17 Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.(KJV) Judges 4:17 Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feete to the tent of Iael the wife of Heber the Kenite: (for peace was betweene Iabin the king of Hazor, & betweene the house of Heber the Kenite)(Geneva) Juges 4:17 Sisera se réfugia à pied dans la tente de Jaël, femme de Héber, le Kénien; car il y avait paix entre Jabin, roi de Hatsor, et la maison de Héber, le Kénien.(FR) 17 ׃4 וְסִֽיסְרָא֙ נָ֣ס בְּרַגְלָ֔יו אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל יָעֵ֔ל אֵ֖שֶּׁת חֶ֣בֶר הַקֵּינִ֑י כִּ֣י שָׁל֗וֹם בֵּ֚ין יָבִ֣ין מֶֽלֶךְ־חָצ֔וֹר וּבֵ֕ין בֵּ֖ית חֶ֥בֶר הַקֵּינִֽי׃ Judges Jdg 4:17 Now Sisera fled away on foot to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite, for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.(nasb) ======= Judges 4:18 ============ Jdg 4:18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.(KJV) Judges 4:18 And Iael went out to meete Sisera, & sayd vnto him, Turne in, my lord, turne in to me: feare not; when he had turned in vnto her into her tent, she couered him with a mantell.(Geneva) Juges 4:18 Jaël sortit au-devant de Sisera, et lui dit: Entre, mon seigneur, entre chez moi, ne crains point. Il entra chez elle dans la tente, et elle le cacha sous une couverture.(FR) 18 ׃4 וַתֵּצֵ֣א יָעֵל֮ לִקְרַ֣את סִֽיסְרָא֒ וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו סוּרָ֧ה אֲדֹנִ֛י סוּרָ֥ה אֵלַ֖י אַל־תִּירָ֑א וַיָּ֤סַר אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ הָאֹ֔הֱלָה וַתְּכַסֵּ֖הוּ בַּשְּׂמִיכָֽה׃ Judges Jdg 4:18 Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, "Turn aside, my master, turn aside to me! Do not be afraid." And he turned aside to her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.(nasb) ======= Judges 4:19 ============ Jdg 4:19 And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.(KJV) Judges 4:19 And he said vnto her, Giue me, I pray thee, a litle water to drinke: for I am thirstie; shee opened a bottel of milke, and gaue him drinke, and couered him.(Geneva) Juges 4:19 Il lui dit: Donne-moi, je te prie, un peu d'eau à boire, car j'ai soif. Elle ouvrit l'outre du lait, lui donna à boire, et le couvrit.(FR) 19 ׃4 וַיֹּ֧אמֶר אֵלֶ֛יהָ הַשְׁקִינִי־נָ֥א מְעַט־מַ֖יִם כִּ֣י צָמֵ֑אתִי וַתִּפְתַּ֞ח אֶת־נֹ֧אוד הֶחָלָ֛ב וַתַּשְׁקֵ֖הוּ וַתְּכַסֵּֽהוּ׃ Judges Jdg 4:19 He said to her, "Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty." And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.(KJV) Judges 4:22 And behold, as Barak pursued after Sisera, Iael came out to meete him, and sayd vnto him, Come, & I wil shewe thee the man, whome thou seekest: and when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nayle in his temples.(Geneva) Juges 4:22 Comme Barak poursuivait Sisera, Jaël sortit à sa rencontre et lui dit: Viens, et je te montrerai l'homme que tu cherches.
