(nasb) ======= Matthew 3:7 ============ Mat 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?(KJV) Matthew 3:7 Now when he sawe many of the Pharises, and of the Sadduces come to his baptisme, he said vnto them, O generations of vipers, who hath forewarned you to flee from the anger to come?(Geneva) Matthieu 3:7 Mais, voyant venir à son baptême beaucoup de pharisiens et de sadducéens, il leur dit: Races de vipères, qui vous a appris à fuir la colère à venir?(FR) אַךְ כַּאֲשֶׁר רָאָה רַבִּים מִן־הַפְּרוּשִׁים וּמִן־הַצַּדּוּקִים בָּאִים אֵלָיו לְהִטָּבֵל וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם יַלְדֵי צִפְעֹנִים מִי הוֹרָה אֶתְכֶם לְהִמָּלֵט עַל־נַפְשְׁכֶם מִפְּנֵי חֲרוֹן אַף הַבָּא׃ ז Matthew Mat 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, "You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? (nasb) ======= Matthew 3:8 ============ Mat 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:(KJV) Matthew 3:8 Bring foorth therefore fruite worthy amendement of life.(Geneva) Matthieu 3:8 Produisez donc du fruit digne de la repentance,(FR) לָכֵן עֲשׂוּ פְרִי טוֹב לִתְשׁוּבָה׃ ח Matthew Mat 3:8 Therefore bear fruit in keeping with repentance; (nasb) ======= Matthew 3:9 ============ Mat 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.(KJV) Matthew 3:9 And thinke not to say with your selues, We haue Abraham to our father: for I say vnto you, that God is able euen of these stones to raise vp children vnto Abraham.(Geneva) Matthieu 3:9 et ne prétendez pas dire en vous-mêmes: Nous avons Abraham pour père! (nasb) ======= Matthew 3:14 ============ Mat 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?(KJV) Matthew 3:14 But Iohn earnestly put him backe, saying, I haue neede to be baptized of thee, and commest thou to me?(Geneva) Matthieu 3:14 Mais Jean s'y opposait, en disant: C'est moi qui ai besoin d'être baptisé par toi, et tu viens à moi!(FR) וַיַּעֲצָר־בּוֹ יוֹחָנָן לֵאמֹר הֲלֹא נָכוֹן לִי לְהִטָּבֵל עַל־יָדְךָ וְאַתָּה בָּאתָ אֵלָי׃ יד Matthew Mat 3:14 But John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?"(nasb) ======= Matthew 3:15 ============ Mat 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.(KJV) Matthew 3:15 Then Iesus answering, saide to him, Let be nowe: for thus it becommeth vs to fulfill all righteousnes. So he suffered him.(Geneva) Matthieu 3:15 Jésus lui répondit: Laisse faire maintenant, car il est convenable que nous accomplissions ainsi tout ce qui est juste. Then he permitted Him. (nasb) ======= Matthew 3:16 ============ Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:(KJV) Matthew 3:16 And Iesus when hee was baptized, came straight out of the water; lo, the heaues were opened vnto him, & Iohn saw the Spirit of God descending like a doue, and lighting vpon him.(Geneva) Matthieu 3:16 Dès que Jésus eut été baptisé, il sortit de l'eau.
