(nasb) ======= Matthew 21:15 ============ Mat 21:15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,(KJV) Matthew 21:15 But when the chiefe priestes and Scribes sawe the marueiles that hee did, and the children crying in the Temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Sonne of Dauid, they disdained,(Geneva) Matthieu 21:15 Mais les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes furent indignés, à la vue des choses merveilleuses qu'il avait faites, et des enfants qui criaient dans le temple: Hosanna au Fils de David!(FR) וַיִּרְאוּ רָאשֵׁי הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַסּוֹפְרִים אֵת הַנִּפְלָאוֹת אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה וְאֵת הַיְלָדִים קֹרְאִים וְעֹנִים בַּמִּקְדָּשׁ הוֹשַׁע־נָא לְבֶן־דָּוִד וַיִּחַר לָהֶם׃ טו Matthew Mat 21:15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they became indignant(nasb) ======= Matthew 21:16 ============ Mat 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?(KJV) Matthew 21:16 And said vnto him, Hearest thou what these say? (nasb) ======= Matthew 21:19 ============ Mat 21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And at once the fig tree withered. (nasb) ======= Matthew 21:20 ============ Mat 21:20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!(KJV) Matthew 21:20 And when his disciples saw it, they marueiled, saying, How soone is the figge tree withered!(Geneva) Matthieu 21:20 Les disciples, qui virent cela, furent étonnés, et dirent: Comment ce figuier est-il devenu sec en un instant?(FR) וְהַתַּלְמִידִים רָאוּ וַיִּתְמְהוּ לֵאמֹר אֵיךְ יָבְשָׁה הַתְּאֵנָה פִּתְאֹם׃ כ Matthew Mat 21:20 Seeing this, the disciples were amazed and asked, "How did the fig tree wither all at once?"(nasb) ======= Matthew 21:21 ============ Mat 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.(KJV) Matthew 21:21 And Iesus answered and said vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, if ye haue faith, & doubt not, ye shall not only doe that, which I haue done to the figge tree, but also if ye say vnto this mountaine, Take thy selfe away, and cast thy selfe into the sea, it shalbe done.(Geneva) Matthieu 21:21 Jésus leur répondit: Je vous le dis en vérité, si vous aviez de la foi et que vous ne doutiez point, non seulement vous feriez ce qui a été fait à ce figuier, mais quand vous diriez à cette montagne: Ote-toi de là et jette-toi dans la mer, cela se ferait.(FR) וַיַּעַן יֵשׁוּעַ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם אָמֵן אֲנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם אִם־יֵשׁ בָּכֶם אֱמוּנָה וְאֵינְכֶם פֹּסְחִים עַל־שְׁתֵּי הַסְּעִפִּים לֹא לְבַד כַּמַּעֲשֶׂה הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר נַעֲשָׂה לַתְּאֵנָה תַּעֲשׂוּ כִּי אִם־גַּם תֹּאמְרוּ לָהָר הַזֶּה הִנָּשֵׂא וְהִתְנַפֵּל אֶל־תּוֹךְ הַיָּם וִיהִי כֵן׃ כא Matthew Mat 21:21 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. (nasb) ======= Matthew 21:23 ============ Mat 21:23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?(KJV) Matthew 21:23 And whe he was come into the Temple, the chiefe Priestes, and the Elders of the people came vnto him, as he was teaching, and saide, By what authoritie doest thou these things? And who gaue thee this authoritie?(Geneva) Matthieu 21:23 Jésus se rendit dans le temple, et, pendant qu'il enseignait, les principaux sacrificateurs et les anciens du peuple vinrent lui dire: Par quelle autorité fais-tu ces choses, et qui t'a donné cette autorité?(FR) וַיָּבֹא אֶל־הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וַיִּגְּשׁוּ אֵלָיו רָאשֵׁי הַכֹּהֲנִים וְזִקְנֵי הָעָם בְּעוֹדוֹ מְלַמֵּד לָעָם וַיֹּאמְרוּ בְּאֵיזֶה רִשְׁיוֹן אַתָּה עֹשֶׂה אֵלֶּה וּמִי־נָתַן לְךָ הָרִשְׁיוֹן הַזֶּה׃ כג Matthew Mat 21:23 When He entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him while He was teaching, and said, "By what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?"(nasb) ======= Matthew 21:24 ============ Mat 21:24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.(KJV) Matthew 21:24 Then Iesus answered and said vnto them, I also will aske of you a certaine thing, which if ye tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authoritie I doe these things.(Geneva) Matthieu 21:24 Jésus leur répondit: Je vous adresserai aussi une question; et, si vous m'y répondez, je vous dirai par quelle autorité je fais ces choses.(FR) וַיַּעַן יֵשׁוּעַ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם אֶשְׁאַל מִכֶּם גַּם־אָנֹכִי שְׁאַלָה אַחַת וְאִם־תַּגִּידוּ לִי גַּם־אָנֹכִי אַגִּיד לָכֶם בְּאֵיזֶה רִשְׁיוֹן אֲנִי עֹשֶׂה אֵלֶּה׃ כד Matthew Mat 21:24 Jesus said to them, "I will also ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things. (nasb) ======= Matthew 21:25 ============ Mat 21:25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?(KJV) Matthew 21:25 The baptisme of Iohn, whence was it?
