(nasb) ======= John 21:3 ============ Jn 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.(KJV) John 21:3 Simon Peter said vnto them, I go a fishing. They said vnto him, We also will goe with thee. They went their way & entred into a ship straightway, and that night caught they nothing.(Geneva) Jean 21:3 Simon Pierre leur dit: Je vais pêcher. Ils lui dirent: Nous allons aussi avec toi. Ils sortirent et montèrent dans une barque, et cette nuit-là ils ne prirent rien.(FR) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם שִׁמְעוֹן פֶּטְרוֹס הִנְנִי הֹלֵךְ לָדִיג וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֵלָיו עִמָּךְ נֵלֵךְ גַּם־אֲנָחְנוּ וַיֵּצְאוּ מִיָּד וַיֵּרְדוּ אֶל־הָאֳנִיָּה וְלֹא לָכְדוּ מְאוּמָה בַּלַּיְלָה הוּא׃ ג John Jn 21:3 Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We will also come with you." They went out and got into the boat; and that night they caught nothing. (nasb) ======= John 21:4 ============ Jn 21:4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.(KJV) John 21:4 But when the morning was nowe come, Iesus stoode on the shore: neuerthelesse the disciples knewe not that it was Iesus.(Geneva) Jean 21:4 Le matin étant venu, Jésus se trouva sur le rivage; mais les disciples ne savaient pas que c'était Jésus.(FR) הַבֹּקֶר אוֹר וְהִנֵּה יֵשׁוּעַ עֹמֵד עַל־שְׂפַת הַיָּם וְהַתַּלְמִידִים לֹא יָדְעוּ כִּי יֵשׁוּעַ הוּא׃ ד John Jn 21:4 But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. (nasb) ======= John 21:5 ============ Jn 21:5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.(KJV) John 21:5 Iesus then said vnto them, Syrs, haue ye any meate? They answered him, No.(Geneva) Jean 21:5 Jésus leur dit: Enfants, n'avez-vous rien à manger? Ils lui répondirent: Non.(FR) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ בָּנַי הֲיֵשׁ־לָכֶם דָּבָר לֶאֱכֹל וַיַּעֲנוּ וַיֹּמְרוּ אָיִן׃ ה John Jn 21:5 So Jesus said to them, "Children, you do not have any fish, do you?" They answered Him, "No."(nasb) ======= John 21:6 ============ Jn 21:6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.(KJV) John 21:6 Then he said vnto them, Cast out the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall finde. So they cast out, & they were not able at all to draw it, for the multitude of fishes.(Geneva) Jean 21:6 Il leur dit: Jetez le filet du côté droit de la barque, et vous trouverez. Ils le jetèrent donc, et ils ne pouvaient plus le retirer, à cause de la grande quantité de poissons.(FR) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם פִּרְשׂוּ אֶת־הַמִּכְמֹרֶת מִימִין לָאֳנִיָּה וּמְצָאתֶם וַיִפְרְשׂוּ וְלֹא־יָכְלוּ עוֹד לְמָשְׁכָהּ מֵרֹב דָּגִים׃ ו John Jn 21:6 And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find a catch." So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish. (nasb) ======= John 21:7 ============ Jn 21:7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.(KJV) John 21:7 Therefore said the disciple whom Iesus loued, vnto Peter, It is the Lord. When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lorde, he girded his coate to him (for he was naked) and cast himselfe into the sea.(Geneva) Jean 21:7 Alors le disciple que Jésus aimait dit à Pierre: C'est le Seigneur! So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put his outer garment on (for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea. (nasb) ======= John 21:8 ============ Jn 21:8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.(KJV) John 21:8 But the other disciples came by shippe (for they were not farre from land, but about two hundreth cubites) and they drewe the net with fishes.(Geneva) Jean 21:8 Les autres disciples vinrent avec la barque, tirant le filet plein de poissons, car ils n'étaient éloignés de terre que d'environ deux cents coudées.(FR) וְיֶתֶר הַתַּלְמִידִים בָּאוּ בָאֳנִיָּתָם כִּי לֹא הִרְחִיקוּ מִן־הַיַּבָּשָׁה כִּי אִם־כְּמָאתַיִם אַמָּה וַיִּמְשְׁכוּ אֶת־הַמִכְמֹרֶת עִם־הַדָּגִים׃ ח John Jn 21:8 But the other disciples came in the little boat, for they were not far from the land, but about one hundred yards away, dragging the net full of fish. (nasb) ======= John 21:12 ============ Jn 21:12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.(KJV) John 21:12 Iesus saide vnto them, Come, and dine; none of the disciples durst aske him, Who art thou? seeing they knewe that he was the Lord.(Geneva) Jean 21:12 Jésus leur dit: Venez, mangez. None of the disciples ventured to question Him, "Who are You?" knowing that it was the Lord. He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Shepherd My sheep."(nasb) ======= John 21:17 ============ Jn 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Tend My sheep. (nasb) ======= John 21:18 ============ Jn 21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.(KJV) John 21:18 Verely, verely I say vnto thee, When thou wast yong, thou girdedst thy selfe, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be olde, thou shalt stretch foorth thine hands, and another shall gird thee, and lead thee whither thou wouldest not.(Geneva) Jean 21:18 En vérité, en vérité, je te le dis, quand tu étais plus jeune, tu te ceignais toi-même, et tu allais où tu voulais; mais quand tu seras vieux, tu étendras tes mains, et un autre te ceindra, et te mènera où tu ne voudras pas.(FR) אָמֵן אָמֵן אֲנִי אֹמֵר לָךְ בְּעוֹד נַעַר הָיִיתָ בְּיָדְךָ חָגַרְתָּ אֶת־מָתְנֶיךָ וַתֵּלֶךְ אֶל־אֲשֶׁר חָפַצְתָּ וְכִי תִזְקַן תִּפְרֹשׂ כַּפֶּיךָ וְאַחֵר יַחְגָּרְךָ וּנְשָׂאֲךָ אֶל־אֲשֶׁר לֹא תַחְפֹּץ׃ יח John Jn 21:18 Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to gird yourself and walk wherever you wished; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will gird you, and bring you where you do not wish to go."(nasb) ======= John 21:19 ============ Jn 21:19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.(KJV) John 21:19 And this spake he signifying by what death he shoulde glorifie God; when he had said this, he said to him, Folowe me.(Geneva) Jean 21:19 Il dit cela pour indiquer par quelle mort Pierre glorifierait Dieu. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me!"(nasb) ======= John 21:20 ============ Jn 21:20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?(KJV) John 21:20 Then Peter turned about, and sawe the disciple whom Iesvs loued, folowing, which had also leaned on his breast at supper, and had saide, Lorde, which is he that betrayeth thee?(Geneva) Jean 21:20 Pierre, s'étant retourné, vit venir après eux le disciple que Jésus aimait, celui qui, pendant le souper, s'était penché sur la poitrine de Jésus, et avait dit: Seigneur, qui est celui qui te livre?(FR) וַיִּפֶן פֶּטְרוֹס וַיַּרְא אֶת־הַתַּלְמִיד אֲשֶׁר יֵשׁוּעַ אֲהֵבוֹ הֹלֵךְ אַחֲרֵיהֶם וְהוּא אֲשֶׁר נָפַל עַל־צַוָּארוֹ בְּמִשְׁתֵּה הָעֶרֶב וְאָמַר אֲדֹנִי מִי הוּא־זֶה אֲשֶׁר יַסְגִּירֶךָ׃ כ John Jn 21:20 Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them; the one who also had leaned back on His bosom at the supper and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?"(nasb) ======= John 21:21 ============ Jn 21:21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?(KJV) John 21:21 When Peter therefore sawe him, he saide to Iesus, Lord, what shall this man doe?(Geneva) Jean 21:21 En le voyant, Pierre dit à Jésus: Et celui-ci, Seigneur, que lui arrivera-t-il?(FR) וַיְהִי בִּרְאוֹת אֹתוֹ פֶּטְרוֹס וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־יֵשׁוּעַ אֲדֹנִי וְזֶה מָה אַחֲרִיתוֹ׃ כא John Jn 21:21 So Peter seeing him said to Jesus, "Lord, and what about this man?"(nasb) ======= John 21:22 ============ Jn 21:22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.(KJV) John 21:22 Iesus said vnto him, If I will that he tarie till I come, what is it to thee? followe thou me.(Geneva) Jean 21:22 Jésus lui dit: Si je veux qu'il demeure jusqu'à ce que je vienne, que t'importe? You follow Me!"(nasb) ======= John 21:23 ============ Jn 21:23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?(KJV) John 21:23 Then went this worde abroade among the brethren, that this disciple shoulde not die. Yet Iesus saide not to him, He shall not die: but if I will that he tarie till I come, what is it to thee?(Geneva) Jean 21:23 Là-dessus, le bruit courut parmi les frères que ce disciple ne mourrait point.
