interficit egenum et pauperem: per noctem vero erit quasi fur.(vulgate) Job 24:14 Wenn der Tag anbricht, steht auf der Mörder und erwürgt den Armen und Dürftigen; und des Nachts ist er wie ein Dieb.(dhs) Job 24:14 The murderer rises with the light; They do not turn toward the vineyards.(nasb) Job 24:18 ἐλαφρός ἐστιν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ὕδατος καταραθείη ἡ μερὶς αὐτῶν ἐπὶ γῆς (lxx) Job 24:18 Levis est super faciem aquæ: maledicta sit pars ejus in terra, nec ambulet per viam vinearum.(vulgate) Job 24:18 "Er fährt leicht wie auf einem Wasser dahin; seine Habe wird gering im Lande, und er baut seinen Weinberg nicht.(dhs) Job 24:18 "They should be swift on the face of the waters, Their portion should be cursed in the earth, So that no one would turn into the way of their vineyards.(nkjv) ======= Job 24:19 ============ Job 24:19 "Drought and heat consume the snow waters, So does Sheol those who have sinned.(nasb) Job 24:19 ἀναφανείη δὲ τὰ φυτὰ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ γῆς ξηρά ἀγκαλίδα γὰρ ὀρφανῶν ἥρπασαν (lxx) Job 24:19 Ad nimium calorem transeat ab aquis nivium, et usque ad inferos peccatum illius.(vulgate) Job 24:19 Der Tod nimmt weg, die da sündigen, wie die Hitze und Dürre das Schneewasser verzehrt.(dhs) Job 24:19 As drought and heat consume the snow waters, So the grave consumes those who have sinned.(nkjv) ======= Job 24:20 ============ Job 24:20 "A mother will forget him; The worm feeds sweetly till he is no longer remembered.
