Today's Date: Job 24:25 "Now if it is not so, who will prove me a liar, And make my speech worth nothing?"(nkjv) ======= Job 25:1 ============ Job 25:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,(nasb) Job 25:1 ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Βαλδαδ ὁ Σαυχίτης λέγει (lxx) Job 25:1 Respondens autem Baldad Suhites, dixit:(vulgate) Job 25:1 Da antwortete Bildad von Suah und sprach:(dhs) Job 25:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:(nkjv) ======= Job 25:2 ============ Job 25:2 "Dominion and awe belong to Him Who establishes peace in His heights.(nasb) Job 25:2 τί γὰρ προοίμιον ἢ φόβος παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ ὁ ποιῶν τὴν σύμπασαν ἐν ὑψίστῳ (lxx) Job 25:2 [Potestas et terror apud eum est, qui facit concordiam in sublimibus suis.(vulgate) Job 25:2 Ist nicht Herrschaft und Schrecken bei ihm, der Frieden macht unter seinen Höchsten?(dhs) Job 25:2 "Dominion and fear belong to Him; He makes peace in His high places.(nkjv) ======= Job 25:3 ============ Job 25:3 "Is there any number to His troops? And upon whom does His light not rise?(nasb) Job 25:3 μὴ γάρ τις ὑπολάβοι ὅτι ἔστιν παρέλκυσις πειραταῖς ἐπὶ τίνας δὲ οὐκ ἐπελεύσεται ἔνεδρα παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Job 25:3 Numquid est numerus militum ejus? et super quem non surget lumen illius?(vulgate) Job 25:3 Wer will seine Kriegsscharen zählen? und über wen geht nicht auf sein Licht?(dhs) Job 25:3 Is there any number to His armies? Upon whom does His light not rise?(nkjv) ======= Job 25:4 ============ Job 25:4 "How then can a man be just with God? Or how can he be clean who is born of woman?(nasb) Job 25:4 πῶς γὰρ ἔσται δίκαιος βροτὸς ἔναντι κυρίου ἢ τίς ἂν ἀποκαθαρίσαι ἑαυτὸν γεννητὸς γυναικός (lxx) Job 25:4 Numquid justificari potest homo comparatus Deo? aut apparere mundus natus de muliere?(vulgate) Job 25:4 Und wie kann ein Mensch gerecht vor Gott sein? und wie kann rein sein eines Weibes Kind?(dhs) Job 25:4 How then can man be righteous before God? Or how can he be pure who is born of a woman?(nkjv) ======= Job 25:5 ============ Job 25:5 "If even the moon has no brightness And the stars are not pure in His sight,(nasb) Job 25:5 εἰ σελήνῃ συντάσσει καὶ οὐκ ἐπιφαύσκει ἄστρα δὲ οὐ καθαρὰ ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ (lxx) Job 25:5 Ecce luna etiam non splendet, et stellæ non sunt mundæ in conspectu ejus:(vulgate) Job 25:5 Siehe, auch der Mond scheint nicht helle, und die Sterne sind nicht rein vor seinen Augen:(dhs) Job 25:5 If even the moon does not shine, And the stars are not pure in His sight,(nkjv) ======= Job 25:6 ============ Job 25:6 How much less man, that maggot, And the son of man, that worm!"(nasb) Job 25:6 ἔα δέ ἄνθρωπος σαπρία καὶ υἱὸς ἀνθρώπου σκώληξ (lxx) Job 25:6 quanto magis homo putredo, et filius hominis vermis?](vulgate) Job 25:6 wie viel weniger ein Mensch, die Made, und ein Menschenkind, der Wurm!(dhs) Job 25:6 How much less man, who is a maggot, And a son of man, who is a worm?"(nkjv) ======= Job 26:1 ============ top of the page
