And he would say, "Your servant is from one of the tribes of Israel."(nasb) 2Sa 15:2 Et mane consurgens Absalom, stabat juxta introitum portæ, et omnem virum qui habebat negotium ut veniret ad regis judicium, vocabat Absalom ad se, et dicebat: De qua civitate es tu? Und wenn jemand einen Handel hatte, daß er zum König vor Gericht kommen sollte, rief ihn Absalom zu sich und sprach: Aus welcher Stadt bist du? Wenn dann der sprach: Dein Knecht ist aus der Stämme Israels einem,(D) 2Sa 15:2 καὶ ὤρθρισεν Αβεσσαλωμ καὶ ἔστη ἀνὰ χεῖρα τῆς ὁδοῦ τῆς πύλης καὶ ἐγένετο πᾶς ἀνήρ ᾧ ἐγένετο κρίσις ἦλθεν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα εἰς κρίσιν καὶ ἐβόησεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Αβεσσαλωμ καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτῷ ἐκ ποίας πόλεως σὺ εἶ καὶ εἶπεν ὁ ἀνήρ ἐκ μιᾶς φυλῶν Ισραηλ ὁ δοῦλός σου(lxx) 2Sa 15:2 Now Absalom would rise early and stand beside the way to the gate. So it was, whenever anyone who had a lawsuit came to the king for a decision, that Absalom would call to him and say, "What city are you from?" And he would say, "Your servant is from such and such a tribe of Israel."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 15:3 ============ 2Sa 15:3 Then Absalom would say to him, "See, your claims are good and right, but no man listens to you on the part of the king."(nasb) 2Sa 15:3 Respondebatque ei Absalom: Videntur mihi sermones tui boni et justi, sed non est qui te audiat constitutus a rege. So Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 15:7 ============ 2Sa 15:7 Now it came about at the end of forty years that Absalom said to the king, "Please let me go and pay my vow which I have vowed to the Lord, in Hebron.(nasb) 2Sa 15:7 Post quadraginta autem annos, dixit Absalom ad regem David: Vadam, et reddam vota mea quæ vovi Domino in Hebron.(vulgate) 2 Samuel 15:7 Y al cabo de cuarenta años aconteció que Absalón dijo al rey: Yo te ruego me permitas que vaya a Hebrón, a pagar mi voto que he prometido a Jehová:(E) 2 Samuel 15:7 Au bout de quarante ans, Absalom dit au roi: Permets que j'aille à Hébron, pour accomplir le voeu que j'ai fait à l'Eternel.(F) 2Sa 15:7 Nach vierzig Jahren sprach Absalom zum König: Ich will hingehen und mein Gelübde zu Hebron ausrichten, das ich dem HERRN gelobt habe.(D) 2Sa 15:7 καὶ ἐγένετο ἀπὸ τέλους τεσσαράκοντα ἐτῶν καὶ εἶπεν Αβεσσαλωμ πρὸς τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ πορεύσομαι δὴ καὶ ἀποτείσω τὰς εὐχάς μου ἃς ηὐξάμην τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν Χεβρων(lxx) 2Sa 15:7 Now it came to pass after forty years that Absalom said to the king, "Please, let me go to Hebron and pay the vow which I made to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 15:8 ============ 2Sa 15:8 For your servant vowed a vow while I was living at Geshur in Aram, saying, 'If the Lord shall indeed bring me back to Jerusalem, then I will serve the Lord.'"(nasb) 2Sa 15:8 Vovens enim vovit servus tuus cum esset in Gessur Syriæ, dicens: Si reduxerit me Dominus in Jerusalem, sacrificabo Domino.(vulgate) 2 Samuel 15:8 Porque tu siervo hizo voto cuando estaba en Gesur en Siria, diciendo: Si Jehová me volviere a Jerusalén, yo serviré a Jehová.(E) 2 Samuel 15:8 Car ton serviteur a fait un voeu, pendant que je demeurais à Gueschur en Syrie; j'ai dit: Si l'Eternel me ramène à Jérusalem, je servirai l'Eternel.(F) 2Sa 15:8 Denn dein Knecht tat ein Gelübde, da ich zu Gessur in Syrien wohnte, und sprach: Wenn mich der HERR wieder gen Jerusalem bringt, so will ich dem HERRN einen Gottesdienst tun.(D) 2Sa 15:8 ὅτι εὐχὴν ηὔξατο ὁ δοῦλός σου ἐν τῷ οἰκεῖν με ἐν Γεδσουρ ἐν Συρίᾳ λέγων ἐὰν ἐπιστρέφων ἐπιστρέψῃ με κύριος εἰς Ιερουσαλημ καὶ λατρεύσω τῷ κυρίῳ(lxx) 2Sa 15:8 For your servant took a vow while I dwelt at Geshur in Syria, saying, 'If the Lord indeed brings me back to Jerusalem, then I will serve the Lord.' And the conspiracy was strong, for the people increased continually with Absalom.(nasb) 2Sa 15:12 Accersivit quoque Absalom Achitophel Gilonitem consiliarium David, de civitate sua Gilo. Go in haste, or he will overtake us quickly and bring down calamity on us and strike the city with the edge of the sword."(nasb) 2Sa 15:14 Et ait David servis suis qui erant cum eo in Jerusalem: Surgite, fugiamus: neque enim erit nobis effugium a facie Absalom: festinate egredi, ne forte veniens occupet nos, et impellat super nos ruinam, et percutiat civitatem in ore gladii.(vulgate) 2 Samuel 15:14 Entonces David dijo a todos sus siervos que [estaban] con él en Jerusalén: Levantaos, y huyamos, porque no podremos escapar delante de Absalón; daos prisa a partir, no sea que apresurándose él nos alcance, y arroje el mal sobre nosotros, y hiera la ciudad a filo de espada.(E) 2 Samuel 15:14 Et David dit à tous ses serviteurs qui étaient avec lui à Jérusalem: Levez-vous, fuyons, car il n'y aura point de salut pour nous devant Absalom. Hâtez-vous de partir; sinon, il ne tarderait pas à nous atteindre, et il nous précipiterait dans le malheur et frapperait la ville du tranchant de l'épée.(F) 2Sa 15:14 David sprach aber zu allen seinen Knechten, die bei ihm waren zu Jerusalem: Auf, laßt uns fliehen! denn hier wird kein entrinnen sein vor Absalom; eilet, daß wir gehen, daß er uns nicht übereile und ergreife uns und treibe ein Unglück auf uns und schlage die Stadt mit der Schärfe des Schwerts.(D) 2Sa 15:14 καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ πᾶσιν τοῖς παισὶν αὐτοῦ τοῖς μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ τοῖς ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἀνάστητε καὶ φύγωμεν ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἡμῖν σωτηρία ἀπὸ προσώπου Αβεσσαλωμ ταχύνατε τοῦ πορευθῆναι ἵνα μὴ ταχύνῃ καὶ καταλάβῃ ἡμᾶς καὶ ἐξώσῃ ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς τὴν κακίαν καὶ πατάξῃ τὴν πόλιν στόματι μαχαίρης(lxx) 2Sa 15:14 So David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, "Arise, and let us flee; or we shall not escape from Absalom.
