Today's Date: ======= Nehemiah 8:1 ============ Neh 8:1 And all the people gathered as one man at the square which was in front of the Water Gate, and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which the Lord had given to Israel.(nasb) Neh 8:1 Et venerat mensis septimus: filii autem Israël erant in civitatibus suis. Congregatusque est omnis populus quasi vir unus ad plateam quæ est ante portam aquarum: et dixerunt Esdræ scribæ ut afferret librum legis Moysi, quam præceperat Dominus Israëli.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:1 Y se juntó todo el pueblo como un solo hombre en la plaza que está delante de la puerta de las Aguas. Y dijeron al escriba Esdras que trajese el libro de la ley de Moisés, que Jehová mandó a Israel.(E) Néhémie 8:1 Alors tout le peuple s'assembla comme un seul homme sur la place qui est devant la porte des eaux. Ils dirent à Esdras, le scribe, d'apporter le livre de la loi de Moïse, prescrite par l'Eternel à Israël.(F) Neh 8:1 Da nun herzukam der siebente Monat und die Kinder Israel in ihren Städten waren, versammelte sich das ganze Volk wie ein Mann auf die breite Gasse vor dem Wassertor und sprachen zu Esra, dem Schriftgelehrten, daß er das Buch des Gesetzes Mose's holte, das der HERR Israel geboten hat.(D) Neh 8:1 καὶ συνήχθησαν πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ὡς ἀνὴρ εἷς εἰς τὸ πλάτος τὸ ἔμπροσθεν πύλης τοῦ ὕδατος καὶ εἶπαν τῷ Εσδρα τῷ γραμματεῖ ἐνέγκαι τὸ βιβλίον νόμου Μωυσῆ ὃν ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Ισραηλ(lxx) Neh 8:1 Now all the people gathered together as one man in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate; and they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded Israel.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:2 ============ Neh 8:2 Then Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly of men, women and all who could listen with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month.(nasb) Neh 8:2 Attulit ergo Esdras sacerdos legem coram multitudine virorum et mulierum, cunctisque qui poterant intelligere, in die prima mensis septimi.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:2 Y Esdras el sacerdote, trajo la ley delante de la congregación, así de hombres como de mujeres, y de todo entendido para escuchar, el primer día del mes séptimo.(E) Néhémie 8:2 Et le sacrificateur Esdras apporta la loi devant l'assemblée, composée d'hommes et de femmes et de tous ceux qui étaient capables de l'entendre. C'était le premier jour du septième mois.(F) Neh 8:2 Und Esra, der Priester, brachte das Gesetz vor die Gemeinde, Männer und Weiber und alle, die es vernehmen konnten, am ersten Tage des siebenten Monats(D) Neh 8:2 καὶ ἤνεγκεν Εσδρας ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸν νόμον ἐνώπιον τῆς ἐκκλησίας ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς καὶ ἕως γυναικὸς καὶ πᾶς ὁ συνίων ἀκούειν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου(lxx) Neh 8:2 So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly of men and women and all who could hear with understanding on the first day of the seventh month.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:3 ============ Neh 8:3 He read from it before the square which was in front of the Water Gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of men and women, those who could understand; and all the people were attentive to the book of the law.(nasb) Neh 8:3 Et legit in eo aperte in platea quæ erat ante portam aquarum, de mane usque ad mediam diem, in conspectu virorum et mulierum, et sapientium: et aures omnis populi erant erectæ ad librum.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:3 Y leyó en el libro delante de la plaza que está delante de la puerta de las Aguas, desde el alba hasta el mediodía, en presencia de hombres y mujeres y entendidos; y los oídos de todo el pueblo estaban atentos al libro de la ley.(E) Néhémie 8:3 Esdras lut dans le livre depuis le matin jusqu'au milieu du jour, sur la place qui est devant la porte des eaux, en présence des hommes et des femmes et de ceux qui étaient capables de l'entendre. Tout le peuple fut attentif à la lecture du livre de la loi.(F) Neh 8:3 und las daraus auf der breiten Gasse, die vor dem Wassertor ist, vom lichten Morgen an bis auf den Mittag, vor Mann und Weib und wer's vernehmen konnte. Und des ganzen Volkes Ohren waren zu dem Gesetz gekehrt.(D) Neh 8:3 καὶ ἀνέγνω ἐν αὐτῷ ἀπὸ τῆς ὥρας τοῦ διαφωτίσαι τὸν ἥλιον ἕως ἡμίσους τῆς ἡμέρας ἀπέναντι τῶν ἀνδρῶν καὶ τῶν γυναικῶν καὶ αὐτοὶ συνιέντες καὶ ὦτα παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ εἰς τὸ βιβλίον τοῦ νόμου(lxx) Neh 8:3 Then he read from it in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate from morning until midday, before the men and women and those who could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:4 ============ Neh 8:4 Ezra the scribe stood at a wooden podium which they had made for the purpose. And beside him stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah on his right hand; and Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah and Meshullam on his left hand.(nasb) Neh 8:4 Stetit autem Esdras scriba super gradum ligneum, quem fecerat ad loquendum: et steterunt juxta eum Mathathias, et Semeia, et Ania, et Uria, et Helcia, et Maasia, ad dexteram ejus: et ad sinistram, Phadaia, Misaël, et Melchia, et Hasum, et Hasbadana, Zacharia, et Mosollam.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:4 Y Esdras el escriba estaba sobre un púlpito de madera, que habían hecho para ello; y junto a él, a su mano derecha, estaban Matatías, Sema, Anaías, Urías, Hilcías y Maasías; y a su mano izquierda, Pedaías, Misael, Malquías, Hasum, Hasbadana, Zacarías y Mesulam.(E) Néhémie 8:4 Esdras, le scribe, était placé sur une estrade de bois, dressée à cette occasion. Auprès de lui, à sa droite, se tenaient Matthithia, Schéma, Anaja, Urie, Hilkija et Maaséja, et à sa gauche, Pedaja, Mischaël, Malkija, Haschum, Haschbaddana, Zacharie et Meschullam.(F) Neh 8:4 Und Esra, der Schriftgelehrte, stand auf einem hölzernen, hohen Stuhl, den sie gemacht hatten, zu predigen, und standen neben ihm Matthithja, Sema, Anaja, Uria, Hilkia und Maaseja, zu seiner Rechten, aber zu seiner Linken Pedaja, Misael, Malchia, Hasum, Hasbaddana, Sacharja und Mesullam.(D) Neh 8:4 καὶ ἔστη Εσδρας ὁ γραμματεὺς ἐπὶ βήματος ξυλίνου καὶ ἔστησαν ἐχόμενα αὐτοῦ Ματταθιας καὶ Σαμαιας καὶ Ανανιας καὶ Ουρια καὶ Ελκια καὶ Μαασαια ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξ ἀριστερῶν Φαδαιας καὶ Μισαηλ καὶ Μελχιας καὶ Ωσαμ καὶ Ασαβδανα καὶ Ζαχαριας καὶ Μοσολλαμ(lxx) Neh 8:4 So Ezra the scribe stood on a platform of wood which they had made for the purpose; and beside him, at his right hand, stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Urijah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah; and at his left hand Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:5 ============ Neh 8:5 Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people for he was standing above all the people; and when he opened it, all the people stood up.(nasb) Neh 8:5 Et aperuit Esdras librum coram omni populo: super universum quippe populum eminebat: et cum aperuisset eum, stetit omnis populus.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:5 Abrió, pues, Esdras el libro a ojos de todo el pueblo (porque estaba más alto que todo el pueblo); y como lo abrió, todo el pueblo estuvo atento.(E) Néhémie 8:5 Esdras ouvrit le livre à la vue de tout le peuple, car il était élevé au-dessus de tout le peuple; et lorsqu'il l'eut ouvert, tout le peuple se tint en place.(F) Neh 8:5 Und Esra tat das Buch auf vor dem ganzen Volk, denn er ragte über alles Volk; und da er's auftat, stand alles Volk.(D) Neh 8:5 καὶ ἤνοιξεν Εσδρας τὸ βιβλίον ἐνώπιον παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ ὅτι αὐτὸς ἦν ἐπάνω τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἐγένετο ἡνίκα ἤνοιξεν αὐτό ἔστη πᾶς ὁ λαός(lxx) Neh 8:5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was standing above all the people; and when he opened it, all the people stood up.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:6 ============ Neh 8:6 Then Ezra blessed the Lord the great God. And all the people answered, "Amen, Amen!" while lifting up their hands; then they bowed low and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.(nasb) Neh 8:6 Et benedixit Esdras Domino Deo magno: et respondit omnis populus: Amen, amen, elevans manus suas: et incurvati sunt, et adoraverunt Deum proni in terram.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:6 Bendijo entonces Esdras a Jehová, Dios grande. Y todo el pueblo respondió: ¡Amén! ¡Amén! alzando sus manos; y se humillaron, y adoraron a Jehová con el rostro a tierra.(E) Néhémie 8:6 Esdras bénit l'Eternel, le grand Dieu, et tout le peuple répondit, en levant les mains: Amen! amen! Und alles Volk antwortete: Amen, Amen! mit ihren Händen empor und neigten sich und beteten den HERRN an mit dem Antlitz zur Erde.(D) Neh 8:6 καὶ ηὐλόγησεν Εσδρας κύριον τὸν θεὸν τὸν μέγαν καὶ ἀπεκρίθη πᾶς ὁ λαὸς καὶ εἶπαν αμην ἐπάραντες χεῖρας αὐτῶν καὶ ἔκυψαν καὶ προσεκύνησαν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν(lxx) Neh 8:6 And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. Then all the people answered, "Amen, Amen!" while lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:7 ============ Neh 8:7 Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, explained the law to the people while the people remained in their place.(nasb) Neh 8:7 Porro Josue, et Bani, et Serebia, Jamin, Accub, Septhai, Odia, Maasia, Celita, Azarias, Jozabed, Hanan, Phalaia, Levitæ, silentium faciebant in populo ad audiendam legem: populus autem stabat in gradu suo.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:7 Y Jesúa, y Bani, y Serebías, Jamín, Acub, Sabetai, Odías, Maasías, Kelita, Azarías, Jozabad, Hanán, Pelaías, levitas, hacían entender al pueblo la ley; y el pueblo estaba en su lugar.(E) Néhémie 8:7 Josué, Bani, Schérébia, Jamin, Akkub, Schabbethaï, Hodija, Maaséja, Kelitha, Azaria, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaja, et les Lévites, expliquaient la loi au peuple, et chacun restait à sa place.(F) Neh 8:7 Und Jesua, Bani, Serebja, Jamin, Akkub, Sabthai, Hodia, Maaseja, Kelita, Asarja, Josabad, Hanan, Pelaja und die Leviten machten, daß das Volk aufs Gesetz merkte; und das Volk stand auf seiner Stätte.(D) Neh 8:7 καὶ Ἰησοῦς καὶ Βαναιας καὶ Σαραβια ἦσαν συνετίζοντες τὸν λαὸν εἰς τὸν νόμον καὶ ὁ λαὸς ἐν τῇ στάσει αὐτοῦ(lxx) Neh 8:7 Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, helped the people to understand the Law; and the people stood in their place.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:8 ============ Neh 8:8 They read from the book, from the law of God, translating to give the sense so that they understood the reading.(nasb) Neh 8:8 Et legerunt in libro legis Dei distincte, et aperte ad intelligendum: et intellexerunt cum legeretur.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:8 Y leían en el libro de la ley de Dios claramente, y ponían el sentido, de modo que entendiesen la lectura.(E) Néhémie 8:8 Ils lisaient distinctement dans le livre de la loi de Dieu, et ils en donnaient le sens pour faire comprendre ce qu'ils avaient lu.(F) Neh 8:8 Und sie lasen im Gesetzbuch Gottes klar und verständlich, daß man verstand, was gelesen ward.(D) Neh 8:8 καὶ ἀνέγνωσαν ἐν βιβλίῳ νόμου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐδίδασκεν Εσδρας καὶ διέστελλεν ἐν ἐπιστήμῃ κυρίου καὶ συνῆκεν ὁ λαὸς ἐν τῇ ἀναγνώσει(lxx) Neh 8:8 So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:9 ============ Neh 8:9 Then Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, "This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn or weep." For all the people were weeping when they heard the words of the law.(nasb) Neh 8:9 Dixit autem Nehemias (ipse est Athersatha) et Esdras sacerdos et scriba, et Levitæ interpretantes universo populo: Dies sanctificatus est Domino Deo nostro: nolite lugere, et nolite flere. Flebat enim omnis populus cum audiret verba legis.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:9 Y Nehemías el Tirsata, y el sacerdote Esdras, escriba, y los levitas que hacían entender al pueblo, dijeron a todo el pueblo: Día santo es a Jehová nuestro Dios; no os entristezcáis, ni lloréis: porque todo el pueblo lloraba oyendo las palabras de la ley.(E) Néhémie 8:9 Néhémie, le gouverneur, Esdras, le sacrificateur et le scribe, et les Lévites qui enseignaient le peuple, dirent à tout le peuple: Ce jour est consacré à l'Eternel, votre Dieu; ne soyez pas dans la désolation et dans les larmes! Car tout le peuple pleurait en entendant les paroles de la loi.(F) Neh 8:9 Und Neh mia, der da ist der Landpfleger, und Esra, der Priester, der Schriftgelehrte, und die Leviten, die alles Volk aufmerken machten sprachen zum Volk: Dieser Tag ist heilig dem HERRN, eurem Gott; darum seid nicht traurig und weint nicht! Denn alles Volk weinte, da sie die Worte des Gesetzes hörten.(D) Neh 8:9 καὶ εἶπεν Νεεμιας καὶ Εσδρας ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ γραμματεὺς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται οἱ συνετίζοντες τὸν λαὸν καὶ εἶπαν παντὶ τῷ λαῷ ἡ ἡμέρα ἁγία ἐστὶν τῷ κυρίῳ θεῷ ἡμῶν μὴ πενθεῖτε μηδὲ κλαίετε ὅτι ἔκλαιεν πᾶς ὁ λαός ὡς ἤκουσαν τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου(lxx) Neh 8:9 And Nehemiah, who was the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, "This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn nor weep." For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:10 ============ Neh 8:10 Then he said to them, "Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."(nasb) Neh 8:10 Et dixit eis: Ite, comedite pinguia, et bibite mulsum, et mittite partes his qui non præparaverunt sibi, quia sanctus dies Domini est: et nolite contristari: gaudium etenim Domini est fortitudo nostra.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:10 Luego les dijo: Id, comed grosuras, y bebed vino dulce, y enviad porciones a los que no tienen nada preparado; porque este día es santo a nuestro Señor; y no os entristezcáis, porque el gozo de Jehová es vuestra fortaleza.(E) Néhémie 8:10 Ils leur dirent: Allez, mangez des viandes grasses et buvez des liqueurs douces, et envoyez des portions à ceux qui n'ont rien de préparé, car ce jour est consacré à notre Seigneur; ne vous affligez pas, car la joie de l'Eternel sera votre force.(F) Neh 8:10 Darum sprach er zu ihnen: Geht hin und eßt das Fette und trinkt das Süße und sendet denen auch Teile, die nichts für sich bereitet haben; denn dieser Tag ist heilig unserm HERRN. Und bekümmert euch nicht; denn die Freude am HERRN ist eure Stärke.(D) Neh 8:10 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς πορεύεσθε φάγετε λιπάσματα καὶ πίετε γλυκάσματα καὶ ἀποστείλατε μερίδας τοῖς μὴ ἔχουσιν ὅτι ἁγία ἐστὶν ἡ ἡμέρα τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν καὶ μὴ διαπέσητε ὅτι ἐστὶν ἰσχὺς ὑμῶν(lxx) Neh 8:10 Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:11 ============ Neh 8:11 So the Levites calmed all the people, saying, "Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved."(nasb) Neh 8:11 Levitæ autem silentium faciebant in omni populo, dicentes: Tacete, quia dies sanctus est, et nolite dolere.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:11 Los levitas, pues, hacían callar a todo el pueblo, diciendo: Callad, que es día santo, y no os entristezcáis.(E) Néhémie 8:11 Les Lévites calmaient tout le peuple, en disant: Taisez-vous, car ce jour est saint; ne vous affligez pas!(F) Neh 8:11 Und die Leviten stillten alles Volk und sprachen: Seid still, denn der Tag ist heilig; bekümmert euch nicht!(D) Neh 8:11 καὶ οἱ Λευῖται κατεσιώπων πάντα τὸν λαὸν λέγοντες σιωπᾶτε ὅτι ἡ ἡμέρα ἁγία καὶ μὴ καταπίπτετε(lxx) Neh 8:11 So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, "Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved."(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:12 ============ Neh 8:12 All the people went away to eat, to drink, to send portions and to celebrate a great festival, because they understood the words which had been made known to them.(nasb) Neh 8:12 Abiit itaque omnis populus ut comederet, et biberet, et mitteret partes, et faceret lætitiam magnam: quia intellexerant verba quæ docuerat eos.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:12 Y todo el pueblo se fue a comer y a beber, y a enviar porciones, y a gozar de grande alegría, porque habían entendido las palabras que les habían enseñado.(E) Néhémie 8:12 Et tout le peuple s'en alla pour manger et boire, pour envoyer des portions, et pour se livrer à de grandes réjouissances. Car ils avaient compris les paroles qu'on leur avait expliquées.(F) Neh 8:12 Und alles Volk ging hin, daß es äße, tränke und Teile sendete und eine große Freude machte; denn sie hatten die Worte verstanden, die man hatte kundgetan.(D) Neh 8:12 καὶ ἀπῆλθεν πᾶς ὁ λαὸς φαγεῖν καὶ πιεῖν καὶ ἀποστέλλειν μερίδας καὶ ποιῆσαι εὐφροσύνην μεγάλην ὅτι συνῆκαν ἐν τοῖς λόγοις οἷς ἐγνώρισεν αὐτοῖς(lxx) Neh 8:12 And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:13 ============ Neh 8:13 Then on the second day the heads of fathers' households of all the people, the priests and the Levites were gathered to Ezra the scribe that they might gain insight into the words of the law.(nasb) Neh 8:13 Et in die secundo congregati sunt principes familiarum universi populi, sacerdotes et Levitæ, ad Esdram scribam, ut interpretaretur eis verba legis.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:13 Y al día siguiente se reunieron los príncipes de las familias de todo el pueblo, sacerdotes, y levitas, a Esdras escriba, para entender las palabras de la ley.(E) Néhémie 8:13 Le second jour, les chefs de famille de tout le peuple, les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, s'assemblèrent auprès d'Esdras, le scribe, pour entendre l'explication des paroles de la loi.(F) Neh 8:13 Und des andern Tages versammelten sich die Obersten der Vaterhäuser unter dem ganzen Volk und die Priester und Leviten zu Esra, dem Schriftgelehrten, daß er sie in den Worten des Gesetzes unterrichtete.(D) Neh 8:13 καὶ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ δευτέρᾳ συνήχθησαν οἱ ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῷ παντὶ λαῷ οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται πρὸς Εσδραν τὸν γραμματέα ἐπιστῆσαι πρὸς πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου(lxx) Neh 8:13 Now on the second day the heads of the fathers' houses of all the people, with the priests and Levites, were gathered to Ezra the scribe, in order to understand the words of the Law.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:14 ============ Neh 8:14 They found written in the law how the Lord had commanded through Moses that the sons of Israel should live in booths during the feast of the seventh month.(nasb) Neh 8:14 Et invenerunt scriptum in lege præcepisse Dominum in manu Moysi ut habitent filii Israël in tabernaculis in die solemni, mense septimo:(vulgate) Nehemías 8:14 Y hallaron escrito en la ley que Jehová había mandado por mano de Moisés, que habitasen los hijos de Israel en cabañas en la fiesta solemne del mes séptimo;(E) Néhémie 8:14 Et ils trouvèrent écrit dans la loi que l'Eternel avait prescrite par Moïse, que les enfants d'Israël devaient habiter sous des tentes pendant la fête du septième mois,(F) Neh 8:14 Und sie fanden geschrieben im Gesetz, das der HERR durch Mose geboten hatte, daß die Kinder Israel in Laubhütten wohnen sollten am Fest im siebenten Monat(D) Neh 8:14 καὶ εὕροσαν γεγραμμένον ἐν τῷ νόμῳ ᾧ ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ ὅπως κατοικήσωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐν σκηναῖς ἐν ἑορτῇ ἐν μηνὶ τῷ ἑβδόμῳ(lxx) Neh 8:14 And they found written in the Law, which the Lord had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths during the feast of the seventh suis, et in Jerusalem, dicentes: Egredimini in montem, et afferte frondes olivæ, et frondes ligni pulcherrimi, frondes myrti, et ramos palmarum, et frondes ligni nemorosi, ut fiant tabernacula, sicut scriptum est.~(vulgate) Nehemías 8:15 Y que hiciesen saber, y pasar pregón por todas sus ciudades y por Jerusalén, diciendo: Salid al monte, y traed ramas de olivo, y ramas de pino, y ramas de The sons of Israel had indeed not done so from the days of Joshua the son of Nun to that day. And there was great rejoicing.(nasb) Neh 8:17 Fecit ergo universa ecclesia eorum qui redierant de captivitate, tabernacula, et habitaverunt in tabernaculis: non enim fecerant a diebus Josue filii Nun taliter filii Israël usque ad diem illum. Et fuit lætitia magna nimis.(vulgate) Nehemías 8:17 Y toda la congregación que volvió de la cautividad hicieron tabernáculos, y en tabernáculos habitaron; porque desde los días de Josué, hijo de Nun, hasta aquel día, no habían hecho así los hijos de Israel. Y hubo alegría muy grande.(E) Néhémie 8:17 Toute l'assemblée de ceux qui étaient revenus de la captivité fit des tentes, et ils habitèrent sous ces tentes. Depuis le temps de Josué, fils de Nun, jusqu'à ce jour, les enfants d'Israël n'avaient rien fait de pareil. Et il y eut de très grandes réjouissances.(F) Neh 8:17 Und die ganze Gemeinde derer, die aus der Gefangenschaft waren wiedergekommen, machten Laubhütten und wohnten darin. Denn die Kinder Israel hatten seit der Zeit Josuas, des Sohnes Nuns, bis auf diesen Tag nicht also getan; und es war eine große Freude.(D) Neh 8:17 καὶ ἐποίησαν πᾶσα ἡ ἐκκλησία οἱ ἐπιστρέψαντες ἀπὸ τῆς αἰχμαλωσίας σκηνὰς καὶ ἐκάθισαν ἐν σκηναῖς ὅτι οὐκ ἐποίησαν ἀπὸ ἡμερῶν Ἰησοῦ υἱοῦ Ναυη οὕτως οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ἐκείνης καὶ ἐγένετο εὐφροσύνη μεγάλη(lxx) Neh 8:17 So the whole assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and sat under the booths; for since the days of Joshua the son of Nun until that day the children of Israel had not done so. And there was very great gladness.(nkjv) ======= Nehemiah 8:18 ============ Neh 8:18 He read from the book of the law of God daily, from the first day to the last day. And they celebrated the feast seven days, and on the eighth day there was a solemn assembly according to the ordinance.(nasb) Neh 8:18 Legit autem in libro legis Dei per dies singulos, a die primo usque ad diem novissimum. On célébra la fête pendant sept jours, et il y eut une assemblée solennelle le huitième jour, comme cela est ordonné.(F) Neh 8:18 Und ward im Gesetzbuch Gottes gelesen alle Tage, vom ersten Tag an bis auf den letzten; und sie hielten das Fest sieben Tage und am achten Tage die Versammlung, wie sich's gebührt.(D) Neh 8:18 καὶ ἀνέγνω ἐν βιβλίῳ νόμου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμέραν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ἀπὸ τῆς ἡμέρας τῆς πρώτης ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας τῆς ἐσχάτης καὶ ἐποίησαν ἑορτὴν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ ἐξόδιον κατὰ τὸ κρίμα(lxx) Neh 8:18 Also day by day, from the first day until the last day, he read from the Book of the Law of God.
