Today's Date: Job 7:21 Why then do You not pardon my transgression, And take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust, And You will seek me diligently, But I will no longer be."(nkjv) ======= Job 8:1 ============ Job 8:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,(nasb) Job 8:1 Respondens autem Baldad Suhites, dixit:(vulgate) Job 8:1 Y respondió Bildad suhita, y dijo:(E) Job 8:1 Bildad de Schuach prit la parole et dit:(F) Job 8:1 Da antwortete Bildad von Suah und sprach:(D) Job 8:1 ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Βαλδαδ ὁ Σαυχίτης λέγει(lxx) Job 8:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:(nkjv) ======= Job 8:2 ============ Job 8:2 "How long will you say these things, And the words of your mouth be a mighty wind?(nasb) Job 8:2 [Usquequo loqueris talia, et spiritus multiplex sermones oris tui?(vulgate) Job 8:2 ¿Hasta cuándo hablarás tales cosas, y las palabras de tu boca serán como un viento impetuoso?(E) Job 8:2 Jusqu'à quand veux-tu discourir de la sorte, Et les paroles de ta bouche seront-elles un vent impétueux?(F) Job 8:2 Wie lange willst du solches reden und sollen die Reden deines Mundes so einen stolzen Mut haben?(D) Job 8:2 μέχρι τίνος λαλήσεις ταῦτα πνεῦμα πολυρῆμον τοῦ στόματός σου(lxx) Job 8:2 "How long will you speak these things, And the words of your mouth be like a strong wind?(nkjv) ======= Job 8:3 ============ Job 8:3 "Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert what is right?(nasb) Job 8:3 Numquid Deus supplantat judicium? aut Omnipotens subvertit quod justum est?(vulgate) Job 8:3 ¿Acaso pervertirá Dios el derecho, o el Todopoderoso pervertirá la justicia?(E) Job 8:3 Dieu renverserait-il le droit? Le Tout-Puissant renverserait-il la justice?(F) Job 8:3 Meinst du, daß Gott unrecht richte oder der Allmächtige das Recht verkehre?(D) Job 8:3 μὴ ὁ κύριος ἀδικήσει κρίνων ἢ ὁ τὰ πάντα ποιήσας ταράξει τὸ δίκαιον(lxx) Job 8:3 Does God subvert judgment? Or does the Almighty pervert justice?(nkjv) ======= Job 8:4 ============ Job 8:4 "If your sons sinned against Him, Then He delivered them into the power of their transgression.(nasb) Job 8:4 Etiam si filii tui peccaverunt ei, et dimisit eos in manu iniquitatis suæ:(vulgate) Job 8:4 Si tus hijos pecaron contra Él, Él los echó en el lugar de su pecado.(E) Job 8:4 Si tes fils ont péché contre lui, Il les a livrés à leur péché.(F) Job 8:4 Haben deine Söhne vor ihm gesündigt, so hat er sie verstoßen um ihrer Missetat willen.(D) Job 8:4 εἰ οἱ υἱοί σου ἥμαρτον ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ ἀπέστειλεν ἐν χειρὶ ἀνομίας αὐτῶν(lxx) Job 8:4 If your sons have sinned against Him, He has cast them away for their transgression.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:5 ============ Job 8:5 "If you would seek God And implore the compassion of the Almighty,(nasb) Job 8:5 tu tamen si diluculo consurrexeris ad Deum, et Omnipotentem fueris deprecatus;(vulgate) Job 8:5 Si tú de mañana buscares a Dios, y suplicares al Todopoderoso;(E) Job 8:5 Mais toi, si tu as recours à Dieu, Si tu implores le Tout-Puissant;(F) Job 8:5 So du aber dich beizeiten zu Gott tust und zu dem Allmächtigen flehst,(D) Job 8:5 σὺ δὲ ὄρθριζε πρὸς κύριον παντοκράτορα δεόμενος(lxx) Job 8:5 If you would earnestly seek God And make your supplication to the Almighty,(nkjv) ======= Job 8:6 ============ Job 8:6 If you are pure and upright, Surely now He would rouse Himself for you And restore your righteous estate.(nasb) Job 8:6 si mundus et rectus incesseris: statim evigilabit ad te, et pacatum reddet habitaculum justitiæ tuæ,(vulgate) Job 8:6 Si [fueres] limpio y recto, ciertamente luego se despertará por ti, y hará próspera la morada de tu justicia.(E) Job 8:6 Si tu es juste et droit, Certainement alors il veillera sur toi, Et rendra le bonheur à ton innocente demeure;(F) Job 8:6 und so du rein und fromm bist, so wird er aufwachen zu dir und wird wieder aufrichten deine Wohnung um deiner Gerechtigkeit willen;(D) Job 8:6 εἰ καθαρὸς εἶ καὶ ἀληθινός δεήσεως ἐπακούσεταί σου ἀποκαταστήσει δέ σοι δίαιταν δικαιοσύνης(lxx) Job 8:6 If you were pure and upright, Surely now He would awake for you, And prosper your rightful dwelling place.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:7 ============ Job 8:7 "Though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will increase greatly.(nasb) Job 8:7 in tantum ut si priora tua fuerint parva, et novissima tua multiplicentur nimis.(vulgate) Job 8:7 Aunque tu principio haya sido pequeño, tu postrimería será muy grande.(E) Job 8:7 Ton ancienne prospérité semblera peu de chose, Celle qui t'est réservée sera bien plus grande.(F) Job 8:7 und was du zuerst wenig gehabt hast, wird hernach gar sehr zunehmen.(D) Job 8:7 ἔσται οὖν τὰ μὲν πρῶτά σου ὀλίγα τὰ δὲ ἔσχατά σου ἀμύθητα(lxx) Job 8:7 Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:8 ============ Job 8:8 "Please inquire of past generations, And consider the things searched out by their fathers.(nasb) Job 8:8 Interroga enim generationem pristinam, et diligenter investiga patrum memoriam(vulgate) Job 8:8 Porque pregunta ahora a la edad pasada, y disponte a inquirir de los padres de ellos;(E) Job 8:8 Interroge ceux des générations passées, Sois attentif à l'expérience de leurs pères.(F) Job 8:8 Denn frage die vorigen Geschlechter und merke auf das, was ihr Väter erforscht haben;(D) Job 8:8 ἐπερώτησον γὰρ γενεὰν πρώτην ἐξιχνίασον δὲ κατὰ γένος πατέρων(lxx) Job 8:8 "For inquire, please, of the former age, And consider the things discovered by their fathers;(nkjv) ======= Job 8:9 ============ Job 8:9 "For we are only of yesterday and know nothing, Because our days on earth are as a shadow.(nasb) Job 8:9 (hesterni quippe sumus, et ignoramus, quoniam sicut umbra dies nostri sunt super terram),(vulgate) Job 8:9 porque nosotros somos de ayer y nada sabemos, pues nuestros días sobre la tierra [son como] una sombra.(E) Job 8:9 Car nous sommes d'hier, et nous ne savons rien, Nos jours sur la terre ne sont qu'une ombre.(F) Job 8:9 denn wir sind von gestern her und wissen nichts; unser Leben ist ein Schatten auf Erden.(D) Job 8:9 χθιζοὶ γάρ ἐσμεν καὶ οὐκ οἴδαμεν σκιὰ γάρ ἐστιν ἡμῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ὁ βίος(lxx) Job 8:9 For we were born yesterday, and know nothing, Because our days on earth are a shadow.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:10 ============ Job 8:10 "Will they not teach you and tell you, And bring forth words from their minds?(nasb) Job 8:10 et ipsi docebunt te, loquentur tibi, et de corde suo proferent eloquia.(vulgate) Job 8:10 ¿No te enseñarán ellos, te hablarán, y de su corazón sacarán palabras?(E) Job 8:10 Ils t'instruiront, ils te parleront, Ils tireront de leur coeur ces sentences:(F) Job 8:10 Sie werden dich's lehren und dir sagen und ihre Rede aus ihrem Herzen hervorbringen:(D) Job 8:10 ἦ οὐχ οὗτοί σε διδάξουσιν καὶ ἀναγγελοῦσιν καὶ ἐκ καρδίας ἐξάξουσιν ῥήματα(lxx) Job 8:10 Will they not teach you and tell you, And utter words from their heart?(nkjv) ======= Job 8:11 ============ Job 8:11 "Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh? Can the rushes grow without water?(nasb) Job 8:11 Numquid vivere potest scirpus absque humore? aut crescere carectum sine aqua?(vulgate) Job 8:11 ¿Crece el junco sin lodo? ¿Crece el prado sin agua?(E) Job 8:11 Le jonc croît-il sans marais? Le roseau croît-il sans humidité?(F) Job 8:11 "Kann auch ein Rohr aufwachsen, wo es nicht feucht steht? oder Schilf wachsen ohne Wasser?(D) Job 8:11 μὴ θάλλει πάπυρος ἄνευ ὕδατος ἢ ὑψωθήσεται βούτομον ἄνευ πότου(lxx) Job 8:11 "Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh? Can the reeds flourish without water?(nkjv) ======= Job 8:12 ============ Job 8:12 "While it is still green and not cut down, Yet it withers before any other plant.(nasb) Job 8:12 Cum adhuc sit in flore, nec carpatur manu, ante omnes herbas arescit.(vulgate) Job 8:12 Aun en su verdor, y sin ser cortado, se seca antes que [toda] hierba.(E) Job 8:12 Encore vert et sans qu'on le coupe, Il sèche plus vite que toutes les herbes.(F) Job 8:12 Sonst wenn's noch in der Blüte ist, ehe es abgehauen wird, verdorrt es vor allem Gras.(D) Job 8:12 ἔτι ὂν ἐπὶ ῥίζης καὶ οὐ μὴ θερισθῇ πρὸ τοῦ πιεῖν πᾶσα βοτάνη οὐχὶ ξηραίνεται(lxx) Job 8:12 While it is yet green and not cut down, It withers before any other plant.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:13 ============ Job 8:13 "So are the paths of all who forget God; And the hope of the godless will perish,(nasb) Job 8:13 Sic viæ omnium qui obliviscuntur Deum, et spes hypocritæ peribit.(vulgate) Job 8:13 Tales [son] los caminos de todos los que se olvidan de Dios; y la esperanza del impío perecerá:(E) Job 8:13 Ainsi arrive-t-il à tous ceux qui oublient Dieu, Et l'espérance de l'impie périra.(F) Job 8:13 So geht es allen denen, die Gottes vergessen; und die Hoffnung der Heuchler wird verloren sein.(D) Job 8:13 οὕτως τοίνυν ἔσται τὰ ἔσχατα πάντων τῶν ἐπιλανθανομένων τοῦ κυρίου ἐλπὶς γὰρ ἀσεβοῦς ἀπολεῖται(lxx) Job 8:13 So are the paths of all who forget God; And the hope of the hypocrite shall perish,(nkjv) ======= Job 8:14 ============ Job 8:14 Whose confidence is fragile, And whose trust a spider's web.(nasb) Job 8:14 Non ei placebit vecordia sua, et sicut tela aranearum fiducia ejus.(vulgate) Job 8:14 Porque su esperanza será cortada, y aquello en que confía será tela de araña.(E) Job 8:14 Son assurance est brisée, Son soutien est une toile d'araignée.(F) Job 8:14 Denn seine Zuversicht vergeht, und seine Hoffnung ist eine Spinnwebe.(D) Job 8:14 ἀοίκητος γὰρ αὐτοῦ ἔσται ὁ οἶκος ἀράχνη δὲ αὐτοῦ ἀποβήσεται ἡ σκηνή(lxx) Job 8:14 Whose confidence shall be cut off, And whose trust is a spider's web.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:15 ============ Job 8:15 "He trusts in his house, but it does not stand; He holds fast to it, but it does not endure.(nasb) Job 8:15 Innitetur super domum suam, et non stabit; fulciet eam, et non consurget.(vulgate) Job 8:15 Se apoyará él sobre su casa, mas no permanecerá; se asirá de ella, mas no resistirá.(E) Job 8:15 Il s'appuie sur sa maison, et elle n'est pas ferme; Il s'y cramponne, et elle ne résiste pas.(F) Job 8:15 Er verläßt sich auf sein Haus, und wird doch nicht bestehen; er wird sich daran halten, aber doch nicht stehenbleiben.(D) Job 8:15 ἐὰν ὑπερείσῃ τὴν οἰκίαν αὐτοῦ οὐ μὴ στῇ ἐπιλαβομένου δὲ αὐτοῦ οὐ μὴ ὑπομείνῃ(lxx) Job 8:15 He leans on his house, but it does not stand. He holds it fast, but it does not endure.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:16 ============ Job 8:16 "He thrives before the sun, And his shoots spread out over his garden.(nasb) Job 8:16 Humectus videtur antequam veniat sol, et in ortu suo germen ejus egredietur.(vulgate) Job 8:16 A [manera de un árbol], está verde delante del sol, y sus renuevos salen sobre su huerto;(E) Job 8:16 Dans toute sa vigueur, en plein soleil, Il étend ses rameaux sur son jardin,(F) Job 8:16 Er steht voll Saft im Sonnenschein, und seine Reiser wachsen hervor in seinem Garten.(D) Job 8:16 ὑγρὸς γάρ ἐστιν ὑπὸ ἡλίου καὶ ἐκ σαπρίας αὐτοῦ ὁ ῥάδαμνος αὐτοῦ ἐξελεύσεται(lxx) Job 8:16 He grows green in the sun, And his branches spread out in his garden.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:17 ============ Job 8:17 "His roots wrap around a rock pile, He grasps a house of stones.(nasb) Job 8:17 Super acervum petrarum radices ejus densabuntur, et inter lapides commorabitur.(vulgate) Job 8:17 Sus raíces se entretejen junto a una fuente, y se enlazan hasta un lugar pedregoso.(E) Job 8:17 Il entrelace ses racines parmi les pierres, Il pénètre jusque dans les murailles;(F) Job 8:17 Seine Saat steht dick bei den Quellen und sein Haus auf Steinen.(D) Job 8:17 ἐπὶ συναγωγὴν λίθων κοιμᾶται ἐν δὲ μέσῳ χαλίκων ζήσεται(lxx) Job 8:17 His roots wrap around the rock heap, And look for a place in the stones.(nkjv) ======= Job 8:18 ============ Job 8:18 "If he is removed from his place, Then it will deny him, saying, 'I never saw you.'(nasb) Job 8:18 Si absorbuerit eum de loco suo, negabit eum, et dicet: Non novi te.(vulgate) Job 8:18 Si le arrancaren de su lugar, éste le negará entonces, [diciendo]: Nunca te vi.(E) Job 8:18 L'arrache-t-on du lieu qu'il occupe, Ce lieu le renie: Je ne t'ai point connu!(F) Job 8:18 Wenn er ihn aber verschlingt von seiner Stätte, wird sie sich gegen ihn stellen, als kennte sie ihn nicht.(D) Job 8:18 ἐὰν καταπίῃ ὁ τόπος ψεύσεται αὐτόν οὐχ ἑόρακας τοιαῦτα(lxx) Job 8:18 If he is destroyed from his place, Then it will deny him, saying, 'I have not seen you.'(nkjv) ======= Job 8:19 ============ Job 8:19 "Behold, this is the joy of His way; And out of the dust others will spring.(nasb) Job 8:19 Hæc est enim lætitia viæ ejus, ut rursum de terra alii germinentur.(vulgate) Job 8:19 He aquí, éste [es] el gozo de su camino; y de la tierra brotarán otros.(E) Job 8:19 Telles sont les délices que ses voies lui procurent.
