Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 7:1 ============ Jer 7:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,(nasb) Jer 7:1 Verbum quod factum est ad Jeremiam a Domino, dicens:(vulgate) Jeremías 7:1 Palabra de Jehová que vino a Jeremías, diciendo:(E) Jérémie 7:1 La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Eternel, en ces mots:(F) Jer 7:1 Dies ist das Wort, welches geschah zu Jeremia vom HERRN, und sprach:(D) Jer 7:1 --(lxx) Jer 7:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:2 ============ Jer 7:2 "Stand in the gate of the Lord's house and proclaim there this word and say, 'Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah, who enter by these gates to worship the Lord!'"(nasb) Jer 7:2 Sta in porta domus Domini, et prædica ibi verbum istud, et dic: [Audite verbum Domini, omnis Juda, qui ingredimini per portas has ut adoretis Dominum.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:2 Ponte a la puerta de la casa de Jehová, y predica allí esta palabra, y di: Oíd palabra de Jehová, todo Judá, los que entráis por estas puertas para adorar a Jehová.(E) Jérémie 7:2 Place-toi à la porte de la maison de l'Eternel, Et là publie cette parole, Et dis: Ecoutez la parole de l'Eternel, Vous tous, hommes de Juda, qui entrez par ces portes, Pour vous prosterner devant l'Eternel!(F) Jer 7:2 Tritt ins Tor im Hause des HERR und predige daselbst dies Wort und sprich: Höret des HERRN Wort, ihr alle von Juda, die ihr zu diesen Toren eingehet, den HERRN anzubeten!(D) Jer 7:2 ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου πᾶσα ἡ Ιουδαία(lxx) Jer 7:2 "Stand in the gate of the Lord's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, 'Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord!' "(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:3 ============ Jer 7:3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, "Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.(nasb) Jer 7:3 Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Bonas facite vias vestras, et studia vestra, et habitabo vobiscum in loco isto.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:3 Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Mejorad vuestros caminos y vuestras obras, y os haré morar en este lugar.(E) Jérémie 7:3 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Réformez vos voies et vos oeuvres, Et je vous laisserai demeurer dans ce lieu.(F) Jer 7:3 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Bessert euer Leben und Wesen, so will ich bei euch wohnen an diesem Ort.(D) Jer 7:3 τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ διορθώσατε τὰς ὁδοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα ὑμῶν καὶ κατοικιῶ ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ τόπῳ τούτῳ(lxx) Jer 7:3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:4 ============ Jer 7:4 Do not trust in deceptive words, saying, 'This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.'(nasb) Jer 7:4 Nolite confidere in verbis mendacii, dicentes: Templum Domini, templum Domini, templum Domini est!(vulgate) Jeremías 7:4 No confiéis en palabras de mentira, diciendo: Templo de Jehová, templo de Jehová, templo de Jehová [es] éste.(E) Jérémie 7:4 Ne vous livrez pas à des espérances trompeuses, en disant: C'est ici le temple de l'Eternel, le temple de l'Eternel, Le temple de l'Eternel!(F) Jer 7:4 Verlaßt euch nicht auf die Lügen, wenn sie sagen: Hier ist des HERRN Tempel, hier ist des HERRN Tempel, hier ist des HERRN Tempel!(D) Jer 7:4 μὴ πεποίθατε ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτοῖς ἐπὶ λόγοις ψευδέσιν ὅτι τὸ παράπαν οὐκ ὠφελήσουσιν ὑμᾶς λέγοντες ναὸς κυρίου ναὸς κυρίου ἐστίν(lxx) Jer 7:4 Do not trust in these lying words, saying, 'The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord are these.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:5 ============ Jer 7:5 For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a man and his neighbor,(nasb) Jer 7:5 Quoniam si bene direxeritis vias vestras, et studia vestra; si feceritis judicium inter virum et proximum ejus;(vulgate) Jeremías 7:5 Mas si mejorareis cumplidamente vuestros caminos y vuestras obras; si con exactitud hiciereis justicia entre el hombre y su prójimo,(E) Jérémie 7:5 Si vous réformez vos voies et vos oeuvres, Si vous pratiquez la justice envers les uns et les autres,(F) Jer 7:5 sondern bessert euer Leben und Wesen, daß ihr recht tut einer gegen den andern(D) Jer 7:5 ὅτι ἐὰν διορθοῦντες διορθώσητε τὰς ὁδοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα ὑμῶν καὶ ποιοῦντες ποιήσητε κρίσιν ἀνὰ μέσον ἀνδρὸς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ(lxx) Jer 7:5 For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:6 ============ Jer 7:6 if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor walk after other gods to your own ruin,(nasb) Jer 7:6 advenæ, et pupillo, et viduæ non feceritis calumniam, nec sanguinem innocentem effuderitis in loco hoc, et post deos alienos non ambulaveritis in malum vobismetipsis:(vulgate) Jeremías 7:6 y no oprimiereis al extranjero, al huérfano, y a la viuda, ni en este lugar derramareis la sangre inocente, ni anduviereis en pos de dioses ajenos para mal vuestro;(E) Jérémie 7:6 Si vous n'opprimez pas l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve, Si vous ne répandez pas en ce lieu le sang innocent, Et si vous n'allez pas après d'autres dieux, pour votre malheur,(F) Jer 7:6 und den Fremdlingen, Waisen und Witwen keine Gewalt tut und nicht unschuldiges Blut vergießt an diesem Ort, und folgt nicht nach andern Göttern zu eurem eigenen Schaden:(D) Jer 7:6 καὶ προσήλυτον καὶ ὀρφανὸν καὶ χήραν μὴ καταδυναστεύσητε καὶ αἷμα ἀθῷον μὴ ἐκχέητε ἐν τῷ τόπῳ τούτῳ καὶ ὀπίσω θεῶν ἀλλοτρίων μὴ πορεύησθε εἰς κακὸν ὑμῖν(lxx) Jer 7:6 if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:7 ============ Jer 7:7 then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.(nasb) Jer 7:7 habitabo vobiscum in loco isto, in terra quam dedi patribus vestris a sæculo et usque in sæculum.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:7 entonces os haré morar en este lugar, en la tierra que di a vuestros padres para siempre.(E) Jérémie 7:7 Alors je vous laisserai demeurer dans ce lieu, Dans le pays que j'ai donné à vos pères, D'éternité en éternité.(F) Jer 7:7 so will ich immer und ewiglich bei euch wohnen an diesem Ort, in dem Lande, das ich euren Vätern gegeben habe.(D) Jer 7:7 καὶ κατοικιῶ ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ τόπῳ τούτῳ ἐν γῇ ᾗ ἔδωκα τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν ἐξ αἰῶνος καὶ ἕως αἰῶνος(lxx) Jer 7:7 then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:8 ============ Jer 7:8 "Behold, you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail.(nasb) Jer 7:8 Ecce vos confiditis vobis in sermonibus mendacii, qui non proderunt vobis:(vulgate) Jeremías 7:8 He aquí que vosotros confiáis en palabras de mentira, que no aprovechan.(E) Jérémie 7:8 Mais voici, vous vous livrez à des espérances trompeuses, Qui ne servent à rien.(F) Jer 7:8 Aber nun verlasset ihr euch auf Lügen, die nichts nütze sind.(D) Jer 7:8 εἰ δὲ ὑμεῖς πεποίθατε ἐπὶ λόγοις ψευδέσιν ὅθεν οὐκ ὠφεληθήσεσθε(lxx) Jer 7:8 "Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:9 ============ Jer 7:9 Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery and swear falsely, and offer sacrifices to Baal and walk after other gods that you have not known,(nasb) Jer 7:9 furari, occidere, adulterari, jurare mendaciter, libare Baalim, et ire post deos alienos quos ignoratis:(vulgate) Jeremías 7:9 ¿Seguiréis hurtando, matando, adulterando, jurando falsamente, y quemando incienso a Baal, y andando tras dioses ajenos que no conocisteis?(E) Jérémie 7:9 Quoi! dérober, tuer, commettre des adultères, Jurer faussement, offrir de l'encens à Baal, Aller après d'autres dieux que vous ne connaissez pas!...(F) Jer 7:9 Daneben seid ihr Diebe, Mörder, Ehebrecher und Meineidige und räuchert dem Baal und folgt fremden Göttern nach, die ihr nicht kennt.(D) Jer 7:9 καὶ φονεύετε καὶ μοιχᾶσθε καὶ κλέπτετε καὶ ὀμνύετε ἐπ᾽ ἀδίκῳ καὶ ἐθυμιᾶτε τῇ Βααλ καὶ ἐπορεύεσθε ὀπίσω θεῶν ἀλλοτρίων ὧν οὐκ οἴδατε τοῦ κακῶς εἶναι ὑμῖν(lxx) Jer 7:9 Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:10 ============ Jer 7:10 then come and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My name, and say, 'We are delivered!'- that you may do all these abominations?(nasb) Jer 7:10 et venistis, et stetistis coram me in domo hac, in qua invocatum est nomen meum, et dixistis: Liberati sumus, eo quod fecerimus omnes abominationes istas.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:10 ¿Y vendréis y os pondréis delante de mí en esta casa que es llamada por mi nombre, y diréis: Librados somos; para hacer todas estas abominaciones?(E) Jérémie 7:10 Puis vous venez vous présenter devant moi, Dans cette maison sur laquelle mon nom est invoqué, Et vous dites: Nous sommes délivrés!... Et c'est afin de commettre toutes ces abominations!(F) Jer 7:10 Darnach kommt ihr dann und tretet vor mich in diesem Hause, das nach meinem Namen genannt ist, und sprecht: Es hat keine Not mit uns, weil wir solche Greuel tun.(D) Jer 7:10 καὶ ἤλθετε καὶ ἔστητε ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ οὗ ἐπικέκληται τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ καὶ εἴπατε ἀπεσχήμεθα τοῦ μὴ ποιεῖν πάντα τὰ βδελύγματα ταῦτα(lxx) Jer 7:10 and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, 'We are delivered to do all these abominations'?(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:11 ============ Jer 7:11 Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Behold, I, even I, have seen it," declares the Lord.(nasb) Jer 7:11 Numquid ergo spelunca latronum facta est domus ista, in qua invocatum est nomen meum in oculis vestris? Ego, ego sum: ego vidi, dicit Dominus.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:11 ¿Es cueva de ladrones delante de vuestros ojos esta casa, sobre la cual es invocado mi nombre? He aquí que también yo veo, dice Jehová.(E) Jérémie 7:11 Est-elle à vos yeux une caverne de voleurs, Cette maison sur laquelle mon nom est invoqué? Je le vois moi-même, dit l'Eternel.(F) Jer 7:11 Haltet ihr denn dies Haus, das nach meinem Namen genannt ist, für eine Mördergrube? Siehe, ich sehe es wohl, spricht der HERR.(D) Jer 7:11 μὴ σπήλαιον λῃστῶν ὁ οἶκός μου οὗ ἐπικέκληται τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ἐκεῖ ἐνώπιον ὑμῶν καὶ ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ ἑώρακα λέγει κύριος(lxx) Jer 7:11 Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it," says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:12 ============ Jer 7:12 "But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I made My name dwell at the first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.(nasb) Jer 7:12 Ite ad locum meum in Silo, ubi habitavit nomen meum a principio, et videte quæ fecerim ei propter malitiam populi mei Israël.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:12 Ahora pues, id a mi lugar en Silo, donde hice que morase mi nombre al principio, y ved lo que le hice por la maldad de mi pueblo Israel.(E) Jérémie 7:12 Allez donc au lieu qui m'était consacré à Silo, Où j'avais fait autrefois résider mon nom. Et voyez comment je l'ai traité, A cause de la méchanceté de mon peuple d'Israël.(F) Jer 7:12 Gehet hin an meinen Ort zu Silo, da vormals mein Name gewohnt hat, und schauet, was ich daselbst getan habe um der Bosheit willen meines Volkes Israel.(D) Jer 7:12 ὅτι πορεύθητε εἰς τὸν τόπον μου τὸν ἐν Σηλωμ οὗ κατεσκήνωσα τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐκεῖ ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ἴδετε ἃ ἐποίησα αὐτῷ ἀπὸ προσώπου κακίας λαοῦ μου Ισραηλ(lxx) Jer 7:12 "But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I set My name at the first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:13 ============ Jer 7:13 And now, because you have done all these things," declares the Lord,"and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not hear, and I called you but you did not answer,(nasb) Jer 7:13 Et nunc, quia fecistis omnia opera hæc, dicit Dominus, et locutus sum ad vos mane consurgens, et loquens, et non audistis: et vocavi vos, et non respondistis:(vulgate) Jeremías 7:13 Y ahora, por cuanto vosotros habéis hecho todas estas obras, dice Jehová, y bien que os hablé, madrugando para hablar, no oísteis, y os llamé, y no respondisteis;(E) Jérémie 7:13 Et maintenant, puisque vous avez commis toutes ces actions, Dit l'Eternel, Puisque je vous ai parlé dès le matin et que vous n'avez pas écouté, Puisque je vous ai appelés et que vous n'avez pas répondu,(F) Jer 7:13 Weil ihr denn alle solche Stücke treibt, spricht der HERR, und ich stets euch predigen lasse, und ihr wollt nicht hören, ich rufe euch, und ihr wollt nicht antworten:(D) Jer 7:13 καὶ νῦν ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐποιήσατε πάντα τὰ ἔργα ταῦτα καὶ ἐλάλησα πρὸς ὑμᾶς καὶ οὐκ ἠκούσατέ μου καὶ ἐκάλεσα ὑμᾶς καὶ οὐκ ἀπεκρίθητε(lxx) Jer 7:13 And now, because you have done all these works," says the Lord, "and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not hear, and I called you, but you did not answer,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:14 ============ Jer 7:14 therefore, I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave you and your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.(nasb) Jer 7:14 faciam domui huic, in qua invocatum est nomen meum, et in qua vos habetis fiduciam, et loco quem dedi vobis et patribus vestris, sicut feci Silo:(vulgate) Jeremías 7:14 haré también a [esta] casa que es llamada por mi nombre, en la que vosotros confiáis, y a este lugar que di a vosotros y a vuestros padres, como hice a Silo;(E) Jérémie 7:14 Je traiterai la maison sur laquelle mon nom est invoqué, Sur laquelle vous faites reposer votre confiance, Et le lieu que j'ai donné à vous et à vos pères, De la même manière que j'ai traité Silo;(F) Jer 7:14 so will ich dem Hause, das nach meinem Namen genannt ist, darauf ihr euch verlaßt, und den Ort, den ich euren Vätern gegeben habe, eben tun, wie ich zu Silo getan habe,(D) Jer 7:14 καὶ ποιήσω τῷ οἴκῳ τούτῳ ᾧ ἐπικέκληται τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ἐφ᾽ ᾧ ὑμεῖς πεποίθατε ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ καὶ τῷ τόπῳ ᾧ ἔδωκα ὑμῖν καὶ τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν καθὼς ἐποίησα τῇ Σηλωμ(lxx) Jer 7:14 therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to this place which I gave to you and your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:15 ============ Jer 7:15 I will cast you out of My sight, as I have cast out all your brothers, all the offspring of Ephraim.(nasb) Jer 7:15 et projiciam vos a facie mea sicut projeci omnes fratres vestros, universum semen Ephraim.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:15 Que os echaré de mi presencia como eché a todos vuestros hermanos, a toda la descendencia de Efraín.(E) Jérémie 7:15 Et je vous rejetterai loin de ma face, Comme j'ai rejeté tous vos frères, Toute la postérité d'Ephraïm.(F) Jer 7:15 und will euch von meinem Angesicht wegwerfen, wie ich weggeworfen habe alle eure Brüder, den ganzen Samen Ephraims.(D) Jer 7:15 καὶ ἀπορρίψω ὑμᾶς ἀπὸ προσώπου μου καθὼς ἀπέρριψα τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν πᾶν τὸ σπέρμα Εφραιμ(lxx) Jer 7:15 And I will cast you out of My sight, as I have cast out all your brethren--the whole posterity of Ephraim.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:16 ============ Jer 7:16 "As for you, do not pray for this people, and do not lift up cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with Me; for I do not hear you.(nasb) Jer 7:16 Tu ergo, noli orare pro populo hoc, nec assumas pro eis laudem et orationem: et non obsistas mihi, quia non exaudiam te.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:16 Tú pues, no ores por este pueblo, ni levantes por ellos clamor ni oración, ni me ruegues; porque no te oiré.(E) Jérémie 7:16 Et toi, n'intercède pas en faveur de ce peuple, N'élève pour eux ni supplications ni prières, Ne fais pas des instances auprès de moi; Car je ne t'écouterai pas.(F) Jer 7:16 Und du sollst für dies Volk nicht bitten und sollst für sie keine Klage noch Gebet vorbringen, auch nicht sie vertreten vor mir; denn ich will dich nicht hören.(D) Jer 7:16 καὶ σὺ μὴ προσεύχου περὶ τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου καὶ μὴ ἀξίου τοῦ ἐλεηθῆναι αὐτοὺς καὶ μὴ εὔχου καὶ μὴ προσέλθῃς μοι περὶ αὐτῶν ὅτι οὐκ εἰσακούσομαι(lxx) Jer 7:16 "Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:17 ============ Jer 7:17 Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?(nasb) Jer 7:17 Nonne vides quid isti faciunt in civitatibus Juda, et in plateis Jerusalem?(vulgate) Jeremías 7:17 ¿No ves lo que éstos hacen en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalén?(E) Jérémie 7:17 Ne vois-tu pas ce qu'ils font dans les villes de Juda Et dans les rues de Jérusalem?(F) Jer 7:17 Denn siehst du nicht, was sie tun in den Städten Juda's und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem?(D) Jer 7:17 ἦ οὐχ ὁρᾷς τί αὐτοὶ ποιοῦσιν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν Ιουδα καὶ ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Jer 7:17 Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 7:18 ============ Jer 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods in order to spite Me.(nasb) Jer 7:18 Filii colligunt ligna, et patres succendunt ignem, et mulieres conspergunt adipem, ut faciant placentas reginæ cæli, et libent diis alienis, et me ad iracundiam provocent.(vulgate) Jeremías 7:18 Los hijos recogen la leña, y los padres encienden el fuego, y las mujeres amasan la masa, para hacer tortas a la reina del cielo y para hacer ofrendas a dioses ajenos, para provocarme a ira.(E) Jérémie 7:18 Les enfants ramassent du bois, Les pères allument le feu, Et les femmes pétrissent la pâte, Pour préparer des gâteaux à la reine du ciel, Et pour faire des libations à d'autres dieux, Afin de m'irriter.(F) Jer 7:18 Die Kinder lesen Holz, so zünden die Väter das Feuer an, und die Weiber kneten den Teig, daß sie der Himmelskönigin Kuchen backen, und geben Trankopfer den fremden Göttern, daß sie mir Verdruß tun.(D) Jer 7:18 οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν συλλέγουσιν ξύλα καὶ οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν καίουσι πῦρ καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν τρίβουσιν σταῖς τοῦ ποιῆσαι χαυῶνας τῇ στρατιᾷ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἔσπεισαν σπονδὰς θεοῖς ἀλλοτρίοις ἵνα παροργίσωσίν με(lxx) Jer 7:18 The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven;
