only a few men in number, Very few, and strangers in it.(nas) Psa 105:12 ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτοὺς ἀριθμῷ βραχεῖς ὀλιγοστοὺς καὶ παροίκους ἐν αὐτῇ (lxx) Psa 105:12 [Vulgate 104:12] cum essent viri pauci From one kingdom to another people,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 105:14 ============ Psa 105:14 He permitted no man to oppress them, And He reproved kings for their sakes:(nas) Psa 105:14 οὐκ ἀφῆκεν ἄνθρωπον ἀδικῆσαι αὐτοὺς καὶ ἤλεγξεν ὑπὲρ αὐτῶν βασιλεῖς (lxx) Psa 105:14 [Vulgate 104:14] non dimisit hominem ut noceret eis et corripuit pro eis reges(vulgate) 14 ׃105 לֹֽא־הִנִּ֣יחַ אָדָ֣ם לְעָשְׁקָ֑ם וַיּ֖וֹכַח עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם מְלָכִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 105:14 Er ließ keinen Menschen ihnen Schaden tun und strafte Könige um ihretwillen.(dhs) Psa 105:14 He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 105:15 ============ Psa 105:15 "Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm."(nas) Psa 105:15 μὴ ἅπτεσθε τῶν χριστῶν μου καὶ ἐν τοῖς προφήταις ============ Psa 105:16 And He called for a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.(nas) Psa 105:16 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν λιμὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν πᾶν στήριγμα ἄρτου συνέτριψεν (lxx) Psa 105:16 [Vulgate 104:16] et vocavit famem super terram omnem virgam panis contrivit(vulgate) 16 ׃105 וַיִּקְרָ֣א רָ֭עָב עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ כָּֽל־מַטֵּה־לֶ֥חֶם שָׁבָֽר׃ Psalms Psa 105:16 Und er ließ Teuerung ins Land kommen und entzog allen Vorrat des Brots.(dhs) Psa 105:16 Moreover He called for a famine in the land; He destroyed all the provision of bread.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 105:17 ============ Psa 105:17 Herrn über sein Haus, zum Herrscher über alle seine Güter,(dhs) Psa 105:21 He made him lord of his house, And ruler of all his possessions,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 105:22 ============ Psa 105:22 To imprison his princes at will, That he might teach his elders wisdom.(nas) Psa 105:22 τοῦ παιδεῦσαι τοὺς ἄρχοντας αὐτοῦ ὡς ἑαυτὸν καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους αὐτοῦ σοφίσαι (lxx) Psa 105:22 [Vulgate 104:22] ut erudiret principes eius secundum voluntatem suam et senes eius sapientiam doceret(vulgate) 22 ׃105 לֶאְסֹ֣ר שָׂרָ֣יו בְּנַפְשׁ֑וֹ וּזְקֵנָ֥יו יְחַכֵּֽם׃ Psalms Psa 105:22 daß er seine Fürsten unterwiese nach seiner Weise und seine Ältesten Weisheit lehrte.(dhs) Psa 105:22 To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 105:23 ============ Psa 105:23 Israel also came into Egypt; Thus Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.(nas) Psa 105:23 καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Ισραηλ εἰς Αἴγυπτον καὶ Ιακωβ παρῴκησεν ἐν γῇ Χαμ (lxx) Psa 105:23 [Vulgate 104:23] et ingressus est fruitful, And made them stronger than their adversaries.(nas) Psa 105:24 καὶ ηὔξησεν τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ σφόδρα καὶ ἐκραταίωσεν αὐτὸν ὑπὲρ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 105:24 [Vulgate 104:24] et crescere fecit populum suum nimis et roboravit eum super hostes eius(vulgate) 24 ׃105 וַיֶּ֣פֶר אֶת־עַמּ֣וֹ מְאֹ֑ד וַ֝יַּֽעֲצִמֵהוּ מִצָּרָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 105:24 Und er ließ sein Volk sehr wachsen und machte sie mächtiger denn ihre Feinde.(dhs) Psa 105:24 He increased His people greatly, And made them stronger than their enemies.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 105:25 ============ Psa 105:25 He turned their heart to hate His people, To deal craftily with His servants.(nas) Psa 105:25 μετέστρεψεν τὴν καρδίαν αὐτῶν τοῦ μισῆσαι τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ τοῦ δολιοῦσθαι ἐν τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 105:25 [Vulgate 104:25] convertit cor eorum ut odio haberent populum eius ut dolose agerent contra servos illius(vulgate) 25 ׃105 הָפַ֣ךְ לִ֭בָּם לִשְׂנֹ֣א עַמּ֑וֹ לְ֝הִתְנַכֵּ֗ל בַּעֲבָדָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 105:25 Er verkehrte jener Herz, daß sie seinem Volk gram wurden und dachten, seine Knechte mit List zu dämpfen.(dhs) Psa 105:25 He turned their heart to hate His people, To deal craftily with His servants.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 105:26 ============ Psa 105:26 He sent Moses His servant, And Aaron, whom He had chosen.(nas) Psa 105:26 ἐξαπέστειλεν Μωυσῆν τὸν δοῦλον αὐτοῦ Ααρων ὃν ἐξελέξατο αὐτόν (lxx) Psa 105:26 [Vulgate 104:26] misit Mosen servum suum Aaron quem elegit sibi(vulgate) 26 ׃105 שָׁ֭לַח מֹשֶׁ֣ה עַבְדּ֑וֹ אַ֝הֲרֹ֗ן אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּֽחַר־בּֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 105:26 Er sandte seinen Knecht Mose, Aaron, den er erwählt hatte.(dhs) Psa 105:26 He sent Moses His servant, And Aaron whom He had chosen.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 105:27 ============ Psa 105:27 They performed His wondrous acts among them, And miracles in the land 105:28 ἐξαπέστειλεν σκότος καὶ ἐσκότασεν καὶ παρεπίκραναν τοὺς λόγους αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 105:28 [Vulgate 104:28] misit tenebras et contenebravit et non fuerunt increduli verbis eius(vulgate) 28 ׃105 שָׁ֣לַֽח חֹ֭שֶׁךְ וַיַּחְשִׁ֑ךְ וְלֹֽא־מָ֝ר֗וּ אֶת־*דברוו **דְּבָרֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 105:28 Er ließ Finsternis kommen und machte es finster; und sie waren nicht ungehorsam seinen Worten.(dhs) Psa 105:28
