They found no city to dwell in.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 107:5 ============ Psa 107:5 They were hungry and thirsty; Their soul fainted within them.(nas) Psa 107:5 πεινῶντες καὶ διψῶντες ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐξέλιπεν (lxx) Psa 107:5 [Vulgate 106:5] esurientes et sitientes anima eorum in ipsis deficiebat(vulgate) 5 ׃107 רְעֵבִ֥ים גַּם־צְמֵאִ֑ים נַ֝פְשָׁ֗ם בָּהֶ֥ם תִּתְעַטָּֽף׃ Psalms Psa 107:5 hungrig und durstig, und ihre Seele verschmachtete;(dhs) Psa 107:5 Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 107:6 ============ Psa 107:6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He delivered them out of their distresses.(nas) Psa 107:6 καὶ ἐκέκραξαν πρὸς κύριον ἐν τῷ θλίβεσθαι αὐτούς καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀναγκῶν αὐτῶν ἐρρύσατο αὐτοὺς (lxx) Psa 107:6 [Vulgate 106:6] et clamaverunt ad Dominum in tribulatione sua de adflictione eorum eripuit eos(vulgate) 6 ׃107 וַיִּצְעֲק֣וּ אֶל־יְ֭הוָה בַּצַּ֣ר לָהֶ֑ם מִ֝מְּצֽוּקוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם יַצִּילֵֽם׃ Psalms Psa 107:6 die zum HERRN riefen in ihrer Not, und er errettete sie aus ihren Ängsten(dhs) Psa 107:6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 107:7 ============ Psa 107:7 He led them also by a straight way, To go to an inhabited city.(nas) Psa 107:7 καὶ ὡδήγησεν αὐτοὺς εἰς ὁδὸν εὐθεῖαν τοῦ πορευθῆναι εἰς πόλιν κατοικητηρίου (lxx) Psa 107:7 [Vulgate 106:7] et duxit illos per viam rectam ut venirent in civitatem habitabilem(vulgate) 7 ׃107 וַ֭יּֽ͏ַדְרִיכֵם בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יְשָׁרָ֑ה לָ֝לֶ֗כֶת אֶל־עִ֥יר מוֹשָֽׁב׃ Psalms Psa 107:7 und führte sie einen richtigen Weg, daß sie gingen zur Stadt, da sie wohnen konnten:(dhs) Psa 107:7 And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 107:8 ============ Psa 107:8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men!(nas) Psa 107:8 ἐξομολογησάσθωσαν τῷ κυρίῳ τὰ ἐλέη αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων (lxx) Psa 107:8 [Vulgate 106:8] confiteantur Domino misericordiam eius et mirabilia eius in filios hominum(vulgate) 8 ׃107 יוֹד֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְ֝נִפְלְאוֹתָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 107:8 die sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Güte und für seine Wunder, die er an den Menschenkindern tut,(dhs) Psa 107:8 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 107:9 ============ Psa 107:9 For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.(nas) Psa 107:9 ὅτι ἐχόρτασεν ψυχὴν κενὴν καὶ ψυχὴν πεινῶσαν ἐνέπλησεν ἀγαθῶν (lxx) Psa 107:9 [Vulgate 106:9] quia saturavit animam vacuam et animam esurientem implevit bonis(vulgate) 9 ׃107 כִּי־הִ֭שְׂבִּיעַ נֶ֣פֶשׁ שֹׁקֵקָ֑ה וְנֶ֥פֶשׁ רְ֝עֵבָה מִלֵּא־טֽוֹב׃ Psalms Psa 107:9 daß er sättigt die durstige Seele und füllt die hungrige Seele mit Gutem.(dhs) Psa 107:9 For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 107:10 ============ Psa 107:10 There were those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains,(nas) Psa 107:10 καθημένους ἐν σκότει καὶ σκιᾷ θανάτου πεπεδημένους ἐν πτωχείᾳ καὶ σιδήρῳ (lxx) Psa 107:10 [Vulgate 106:10] habitantes in tenebris et umbra mortis alligatos inopia et ferro(vulgate) 10 ׃107 יֹ֭שְׁבֵי חֹ֣שֶׁךְ וְצַלְמָ֑וֶת אֲסִירֵ֖י עֳנִ֣י וּבַרְזֶֽל׃ Psalms Psa 107:10 Die da sitzen mußten in Finsternis und Dunkel, gefangen in Zwang und Eisen,(dhs) Psa 107:10 Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Bound in affliction and irons--(nkjv) ======= Psalm 107:11 ============ Psa 107:11 Because they had rebelled against the words of God And spurned the counsel of the Most High.(nas) Psa 107:11 ὅτι παρεπίκραναν τὰ λόγια τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τὴν βουλὴν τοῦ ὑψίστου παρώξυναν (lxx) Psa 107:11 [Vulgate 106:11] quia provocaverunt sermones Dei et consilium Excelsi blasphemaverunt(vulgate) 11 ׃107 כִּֽי־הִמְר֥וּ אִמְרֵי־אֵ֑ל וַעֲצַ֖ת עֶלְי֣וֹן נָאָֽצוּ׃ Psalms Psa 107:11 darum daß sie Gottes Geboten ungehorsam gewesen waren und das Gesetz des Höchsten geschändet hatten,(dhs) Psa 107:11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, And despised the counsel of the Most High,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 107:12 ============ Psa 107:12 Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; They stumbled and there was none to help.(nas) Psa 107:12 καὶ ἐταπεινώθη ἐν κόποις ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ἠσθένησαν καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ βοηθῶν (lxx) Psa 107:12 [Vulgate 106:12] et humiliavit in labore cor eorum ceciderunt et non erat qui adiuvaret(vulgate) 12 ׃107 וַיַּכְנַ֣ע בֶּעָמָ֣ל לִבָּ֑ם כָּ֝שְׁל֗וּ וְאֵ֣ין עֹזֵֽר׃ Psalms Psa 107:12 dafür ihr Herz mit Unglück geplagt werden mußte, daß sie dalagen und ihnen niemand half;(dhs) Psa 107:12 Therefore He brought down their heart with labor; Their soul melted away in their misery.(nas) Psa 107:26 ἀναβαίνουσιν ἕως τῶν οὐρανῶν καὶ καταβαίνουσιν ἕως τῶν ἀβύσσων ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῶν ἐν κακοῖς ἐτήκετο (lxx) Psa 107:26 [Vulgate 106:26] ascendunt in caelum et descendunt in abyssos anima eorum in adflictione consumitur(vulgate) 26 ׃107 יַעֲל֣וּ שָׁ֭מַיִם יֵרְד֣וּ תְהוֹמ֑וֹת נַ֝פְשָׁ֗ם בְּרָעָ֥ה תִתְמוֹגָֽג׃ Psalms Psa 107:26 und sie gen Himmel fuhren und in den Abgrund fuhren, daß ihre Seele vor Angst verzagte,(dhs) Psa 107:26 They mount up to the heavens, They go down again to the depths;
