I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, In the assembly of the upright and in the congregation.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:2 ============ Psa 111:2 Great are the works of the Lord; They are studied by all who delight in them.(nas) Psa 111:2 μεγάλα τὰ ἔργα κυρίου ἐξεζητημένα εἰς πάντα τὰ θελήματα αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 111:2 [Vulgate 110:2] gimel magna opera Domini deleth exquirenda in cunctis voluntatibus suis(vulgate) 2 ׃111 גְּ֭דֹלִים מַעֲשֵׂ֣י יְהוָ֑ה דְּ֝רוּשִׁ֗ים לְכָל־חֶפְצֵיהֶֽם׃ Psalms Psa 111:2 Groß sind die Werke des HERRN; wer ihrer achtet, der hat eitel Lust daran.(dhs) Psa 111:2 The works of the Lord are great, Studied by all who have pleasure in them.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:3 ============ Psa 111:3 Splendid and majestic is His work, And His righteousness endures forever.(nas) Psa 111:3 ἐξομολόγησις καὶ μεγαλοπρέπεια τὸ ἔργον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος (lxx) Psa 111:3 [Vulgate 110:3] he gloria et decor opus eius vav et iustitia eius perseverans semper(vulgate) 3 ׃111 הוֹד־וְהָדָ֥ר פָּֽעֳל֑וֹ וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ עֹמֶ֥דֶת לָעַֽד׃ Psalms Psa 111:3 Was er ordnet, das ist löblich und herrlich; und seine Gerechtigkeit bleibt ewiglich.(dhs) Psa 111:3 His work is honorable and glorious, And His righteousness endures forever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:4 ============ Psa 111:4 He has made His wonders to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and compassionate.(nas) Psa 111:4 μνείαν ἐποιήσατο τῶν θαυμασίων αὐτοῦ ἐλεήμων καὶ οἰκτίρμων ὁ κύριος (lxx) Psa 111:4 [Vulgate 110:4] zai memoriam fecit mirabilium suorum heth clemens et misericors Dominus(vulgate) 4 ׃111 זֵ֣כֶר עָ֭שָׂה לְנִפְלְאֹתָ֑יו חַנּ֖וּן וְרַח֣וּם יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 111:4 Er hat ein Gedächtnis gestiftet seiner Wunder, der gnädige und barmherzige HERR.(dhs) Psa 111:4 He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:5 ============ Psa 111:5 He has given food to those who fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever.(nas) Psa 111:5 τροφὴν ἔδωκεν τοῖς φοβουμένοις αὐτόν μνησθήσεται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα διαθήκης αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 111:5 [Vulgate 110:5] teth escam dedit timentibus se ioth memor erit in sempiternum pacti sui(vulgate) 5 ׃111 טֶ֭רֶף נָתַ֣ן לִֽירֵאָ֑יו יִזְכֹּ֖ר לְעוֹלָ֣ם בְּרִיתֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 111:5 Er gibt Speise denen, die ihn fürchten; er gedenkt ewiglich an seinen Bund.(dhs) Psa 111:5 He has given food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:6 ============ Psa 111:6 He has made known to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.(nas) Psa 111:6 ἰσχὺν ἔργων αὐτοῦ ἀνήγγειλεν τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ τοῦ δοῦναι αὐτοῖς κληρονομίαν ἐθνῶν (lxx) Psa 111:6 [Vulgate 110:6] caph fortitudinem operum suorum adnuntiabit populo suo(vulgate) 6 ׃111 כֹּ֣חַ מַ֭עֲשָׂיו הִגִּ֣יד לְעַמּ֑וֹ לָתֵ֥ת לָ֝הֶ֗ם נַחֲלַ֥ת גּוֹיִֽם׃ Psalms Psa 111:6 Er läßt verkündigen seine gewaltigen Taten seinem Volk, daß er ihnen gebe das Erbe der Heiden.(dhs) Psa 111:6 He has declared to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:7 ============ Psa 111:7 The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are sure.(nas) Psa 111:7 ἔργα χειρῶν αὐτοῦ ἀλήθεια καὶ κρίσις πισταὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ἐντολαὶ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 111:7 [Vulgate 110:7] lameth ut det eis hereditatem gentium mem opus manuum eius veritas et iudicium(vulgate) 7 ׃111 מַעֲשֵׂ֣י יָ֭דָיו אֱמֶ֣ת וּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט נֶ֝אֱמָנִ֗ים כָּל־פִּקּוּדָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 111:7 Die Werke seiner Hände sind Wahrheit und Recht; alle seine Gebote sind rechtschaffen.(dhs) Psa 111:7 The works of His hands are verity and justice; All His precepts are sure.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:8 ============ Psa 111:8 They are upheld forever and ever; They are performed in truth and uprightness.(nas) Psa 111:8 ἐστηριγμέναι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος πεποιημέναι ἐν ἀληθείᾳ καὶ εὐθύτητι (lxx) Psa 111:8 [Vulgate 110:8] nun fidelia omnia praecepta eius samech firmata in sempiternum iugiter ain facta in veritate et aequitate(vulgate) 8 ׃111 סְמוּכִ֣ים לָעַ֣ד לְעוֹלָ֑ם עֲ֝שׂוּיִ֗ם בֶּאֱמֶ֥ת וְיָשָֽׁר׃ Psalms Psa 111:8 Sie werden erhalten immer und ewiglich und geschehen treulich und redlich.(dhs) Psa 111:8 They stand fast forever and ever, And are done in truth and uprightness.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:9 ============ Psa 111:9 He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name.(nas) Psa 111:9 λύτρωσιν ἀπέστειλεν τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ ἐνετείλατο εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα διαθήκην αὐτοῦ ἅγιον καὶ φοβερὸν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 111:9 [Vulgate 110:9] fe redemptionem misit populo suo sade mandavit in aeternum pactum suum coph sanctum et terribile nomen eius(vulgate) 9 ׃111 פְּד֤וּת ׀ שָׁ֘לַ֤ח לְעַמּ֗וֹ צִוָּֽה־לְעוֹלָ֥ם בְּרִית֑וֹ קָד֖וֹשׁ וְנוֹרָ֣א שְׁמֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 111:9 Er sendet eine Erlösung seinem Volk; er verheizt, daß sein Bund ewiglich bleiben soll. Heilig und hehr ist sein Name.(dhs) Psa 111:9 He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever: Holy and awesome is His name.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 111:10 ============ Psa 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.(nas) Psa 111:10 ἀρχὴ σοφίας φόβος κυρίου σύνεσις ἀγαθὴ πᾶσι τοῖς ποιοῦσιν αὐτήν ἡ αἴνεσις αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος (lxx) Psa 111:10 [Vulgate 110:10] res principium sapientiae timor Domini sen doctrina bona cunctis qui faciunt ea thau laus eius perseverans iugiter alleluia(vulgate) 10 ׃111 רֵ֘אשִׁ֤ית חָכְמָ֨ה ׀ יִרְאַ֬ת יְהוָ֗ה שֵׂ֣כֶל ט֭וֹב לְכָל־עֹשֵׂיהֶ֑ם תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ עֹמֶ֥דֶת לָעַֽד׃ Psalms Psa 111:10 Die Furcht des HERRN ist der Weisheit Anfang.
