How blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who greatly delights in His commandments.(nas) Psa 112:1 αλληλουια μακάριος ἀνὴρ ὁ φοβούμενος τὸν κύριον ἐν ταῖς ἐντολαῖς αὐτοῦ θελήσει σφόδρα (lxx) Psa 112:1 [Vulgate 111:1] aleph beatus vir qui timet Dominum beth in mandatis eius volet nimis(vulgate) 1 ׃112 הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ אַשְׁרֵי־אִ֭ישׁ יָרֵ֣א אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה בְּ֝מִצְוֺתָ֗יו חָפֵ֥ץ מְאֹֽד׃ Psalms Psa 112:1 Halleluja! Wohl dem, der den HERRN fürchtet, der große Lust hat zu seinen Geboten!(dhs) Psa 112:1 Praise the Lord! das Geschlecht der Frommen wird gesegnet sein.(dhs) Psa 112:2 His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 112:3 ============ Psa 112:3 Wealth and riches are in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.(nas) Psa 112:3 δόξα καὶ πλοῦτος ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος (lxx) Psa 112:3 [Vulgate 111:3] he substantia et divitiae in domo eius vav et iustitia eius perseverans semper(vulgate) 3 ׃112 הוֹן־וָעֹ֥שֶׁר בְּבֵית֑וֹ וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ עֹמֶ֥דֶת לָעַֽד׃ Psalms Psa 112:3 Reichtum und die Fülle wird in ihrem Hause sein, und ihre Gerechtigkeit bleibt ewiglich.(dhs) Psa 112:3 Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 112:4 ============ Psa 112:4 Light arises in the darkness for the upright; He is gracious and compassionate and righteous.(nas) Psa 112:4 ἐξανέτειλεν ἐν σκότει φῶς τοῖς εὐθέσιν ἐλεήμων καὶ οἰκτίρμων καὶ δίκαιος (lxx) Psa 112:4 [Vulgate 111:4] zai ortum est in tenebris lumen iustis heth clemens et misericors et iustus(vulgate) 4 ׃112 זָ֘רַ֤ח בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ א֭וֹר לַיְשָׁרִ֑ים חַנּ֖וּן וְרַח֣וּם וְצַדִּֽיק׃ Psalms Psa 112:4 Den Frommen geht das Licht auf in der Finsternis von dem Gnädigen, Barmherzigen und Gerechten.(dhs) Psa 112:4 Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 112:5 ============ Psa 112:5 It is well with the man who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment.(nas) Psa 112:5 χρηστὸς ἀνὴρ ὁ οἰκτίρων καὶ κιχρῶν οἰκονομήσει τοὺς λόγους αὐτοῦ ἐν κρίσει (lxx) Psa 112:5 [Vulgate 111:5] teth bonus vir clemens et fenerans ioth dispensabit verba sua in iudicio(vulgate) 5 ׃112 טֽוֹב־אִ֭ישׁ חוֹנֵ֣ן וּמַלְוֶ֑ה יְכַלְכֵּ֖ל דְּבָרָ֣יו בְּמִשְׁפָּֽט׃ Psalms Psa 112:5 Wohl dem, der barmherzig ist und gerne leidet und richtet seine Sachen aus, daß er niemand Unrecht tue!(dhs) Psa 112:5 A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 112:6 ============ Psa 112:6 For he will never be shaken; The righteous will be remembered forever.(nas) Psa 112:6 ὅτι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα οὐ σαλευθήσεται εἰς μνημόσυνον αἰώνιον ἔσται δίκαιος (lxx) Psa 112:6 [Vulgate 111:6] caph quia in aeternum non commovebitur(vulgate) 6 ׃112 כִּֽי־לְעוֹלָ֥ם לֹא־יִמּ֑וֹט לְזֵ֥כֶר ע֝וֹלָ֗ם יִהְיֶ֥ה צַדִּֽיק׃ Psalms Psa 112:6 Denn er wird ewiglich bleiben; des Gerechten wird nimmermehr vergessen.(dhs) Psa 112:6 Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 112:7 ============ Psa 112:7 He will not fear evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.(nas) Psa 112:7 ἀπὸ ἀκοῆς πονηρᾶς οὐ φοβηθήσεται ἑτοίμη ἡ καρδία αὐτοῦ ἐλπίζειν ἐπὶ κύριον (lxx) Psa 112:7 [Vulgate 111:7] lameth in memoria sempiterna erit iustus mem ab auditu malo non timebit nun paratum cor eius confidens in Domino(vulgate) 7 ׃112 מִשְּׁמוּעָ֣ה רָ֭עָה לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א נָכ֥וֹן לִ֝בּ֗וֹ בָּטֻ֥חַ בַּיהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 112:7 Wenn eine Plage kommen will, so fürchtet er sich nicht; sein Herz hofft unverzagt auf den HERRN.(dhs) Psa 112:7 He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 112:8 ============ Psa 112:8 His heart is upheld, he will not fear, Until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries.(nas) Psa 112:8 ἐστήρικται ἡ καρδία αὐτοῦ οὐ μὴ φοβηθῇ ἕως οὗ ἐπίδῃ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 112:8 [Vulgate 111:8] samech firmum cor eius non timebit ain donec aspiciat hostibus suis(vulgate) 8 ׃112 סָמ֣וּךְ לִ֭בּוֹ לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א עַ֖ד אֲשֶׁר־יִרְאֶ֣ה בְצָרָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 112:8 Sein Herz ist getrost und fürchtet sich nicht, bis er seine Lust an seinen Feinden sieht.(dhs) Psa 112:8 His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 112:9 ============ Psa 112:9 He has given freely to the poor, His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted in honor.(nas) Psa 112:9 ἐσκόρπισεν ἔδωκεν τοῖς πένησιν ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος τὸ κέρας αὐτοῦ ὑψωθήσεται ἐν δόξῃ (lxx) Psa 112:9 [Vulgate 111:9] phe dispersit dedit pauperibus sade iustitia eius permanet in aeternum coph cornu eius exaltabitur in gloria(vulgate) 9 ׃112 פִּזַּ֤ר ׀ נָ֘תַ֤ן לָאֶבְיוֹנִ֗ים צִ֭דְקָתוֹ עֹמֶ֣דֶת לָעַ֑ד קַ֝רְנ֗וֹ תָּר֥וּם בְּכָבֽוֹד׃ Psalms Psa 112:9 Er streut aus und gibt den Armen; seine Gerechtigkeit bleibt ewiglich, sein Horn wird erhöht mit Ehren.(dhs) Psa 112:9 He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 112:10 ============ Psa 112:10 The wicked will see it and be vexed, He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked will perish.(nas) Psa 112:10 ἁμαρτωλὸς ὄψεται καὶ ὀργισθήσεται τοὺς ὀδόντας αὐτοῦ βρύξει καὶ τακήσεται ἐπιθυμία ἁμαρτωλῶν ἀπολεῖται (lxx) Psa 112:10 [Vulgate 111:10] res impius videbit et irascetur sen dentibus suis frendet et tabescet thau desiderium impiorum peribit(vulgate) 10 ׃112 רָ֘שָׁ֤ע יִרְאֶ֨ה ׀ וְכָעָ֗ס שִׁנָּ֣יו יַחֲרֹ֣ק וְנָמָ֑ס תַּאֲוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים תֹּאבֵֽד׃ Psalms Psa 112:10 Der Gottlose wird's sehen, und es wird ihn verdrießen; seine Zähne wird er zusammenbeißen und vergehen.
