Today's Date: ======= Psalm 126:1 ============ Psa 126:1 When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, We were like those who dream.(nas) Psa 126:1 ᾠδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν ἐν τῷ ἐπιστρέψαι κύριον τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν Σιων ἐγενήθημεν ὡς παρακεκλημένοι (lxx) Psa 126:1 [Vulgate 125:1] canticum graduum cum converteret Dominus captivitatem Sion facti sumus quasi somniantes(vulgate) 1 ׃126 שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת בְּשׁ֣וּב יְ֭הוָה אֶת־שִׁיבַ֣ת צִיּ֑וֹן הָ֝יִ֗ינוּ כְּחֹלְמִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 126:1 (Ein Lied im Höhern Chor.) When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 126:2 ============ Psa 126:2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."(nas) Psa 126:2 τότε ἐπλήσθη χαρᾶς τὸ στόμα ἡμῶν καὶ ἡ γλῶσσα ἡμῶν ἀγαλλιάσεως τότε ἐροῦσιν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἐμεγάλυνεν κύριος τοῦ ποιῆσαι μετ᾽ αὐτῶν (lxx) Psa 126:2 [Vulgate 125:2] tunc implebitur risu os nostrum et lingua nostra laude tunc dicent in gentibus magnificavit Dominus facere cum istis(vulgate) 2 ׃126 אָ֤ז יִמָּלֵ֪א שְׂח֡וֹק פִּינוּ֮ וּלְשׁוֹנֵ֢נוּ רִ֫נָּ֥ה אָ֭ז יֹאמְר֣וּ בַגּוֹיִ֑ם הִגְדִּ֥יל יְ֝הוָ֗ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת עִם־אֵֽלֶּה׃ Psalms Psa 126:2 Dann wird unser Mund voll Lachens und unsere Zunge voll Rühmens sein. Da wird man sagen unter den Heiden: Der HERR hat Großes an ihnen getan!(dhs) Psa 126:2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 126:3 ============ Psa 126:3 The Lord has done great things for us; We are glad.(nas) Psa 126:3 ἐμεγάλυνεν κύριος τοῦ ποιῆσαι μεθ᾽ ἡμῶν ἐγενήθημεν εὐφραινόμενοι (lxx) Psa 126:3 [Vulgate 125:3] magnificavit Dominus facere nobiscum facti sumus laetantes(vulgate) 3 ׃126 הִגְדִּ֣יל יְ֭הוָה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת עִמָּ֗נוּ הָיִ֥ינוּ שְׂמֵחִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 126:3 Der HERR hat Großes an uns getan; des sind wir fröhlich.(dhs) Psa 126:3 The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 126:4 ============ Psa 126:4 Restore our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South.(nas) Psa 126:4 ἐπίστρεψον κύριε τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν ἡμῶν ὡς χειμάρρους ἐν τῷ νότῳ (lxx) Psa 126:4 [Vulgate 125:4] converte Domine captivitatem nostram sicut rivum in austro(vulgate) 4 ׃126 שׁוּבָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה אֶת־*שבותנו **שְׁבִיתֵ֑נוּ כַּאֲפִיקִ֥ים בַּנֶּֽגֶב׃ Psalms Psa 126:4 HERR, bringe wieder unsere Gefangenen, wie du die Bäche wiederbringst im Mittagslande.(dhs) Psa 126:4 Bring back our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 126:5 ============ Psa 126:5 Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.(nas) Psa 126:5 οἱ σπείροντες ἐν δάκρυσιν ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει θεριοῦσιν (lxx) Psa 126:5 [Vulgate 125:5] qui seminant in lacrimis in exultatione metent(vulgate) 5 ׃126 הַזֹּרְעִ֥ים בְּדִמְעָ֗ה בְּרִנָּ֥ה יִקְצֹֽרוּ׃ Psalms Psa 126:5 Die mit Tränen säen, werden mit Freuden ernten.(dhs) Psa 126:5 Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 126:6 ============ Psa 126:6 He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.(nas) Psa 126:6 πορευόμενοι ἐπορεύοντο καὶ ἔκλαιον αἴροντες τὰ σπέρματα αὐτῶν ἐρχόμενοι δὲ ἥξουσιν ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει αἴροντες τὰ δράγματα αὐτῶν (lxx) Psa 126:6 [Vulgate 125:6] qui ambulans ibat et flebat portans ad seminandum sementem veniens veniet in exultatione portans manipulos suos(vulgate) 6 ׃126 הָ֘ל֤וֹךְ יֵלֵ֨ךְ ׀ וּבָכֹה֮ נֹשֵׂ֢א מֶֽשֶׁךְ־הַ֫זָּ֥רַע בֹּֽא־יָב֥וֹא בְרִנָּ֑ה נֹ֝שֵׂ֗א אֲלֻמֹּתָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 126:6 Sie gehen hin und weinen und tragen edlen Samen und kommen mit Freuden und bringen ihre Garben.(dhs) Psa 126:6 He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 127:1 ============ top of the page
