He calls them all by name.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:5 ============ Psa 147:5 Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.(nas) Psa 147:5 μέγας ὁ κύριος ἡμῶν καὶ μεγάλη ἡ ἰσχὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ τῆς συνέσεως αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀριθμός (lxx) Psa 147:5 [Vulgate 146:5] magnus Dominus noster et multus fortitudine prudentiae eius non est numerus(vulgate) 5 ׃147 גָּד֣וֹל אֲדוֹנֵ֣ינוּ וְרַב־כֹּ֑חַ לִ֝תְבוּנָת֗וֹ אֵ֣ין מִסְפָּֽר׃ Psalms Psa 147:5 Der HERR ist groß und von großer Kraft; und ist unbegreiflich, wie er regiert.(dhs) Psa 147:5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:6 ============ Psa 147:6 The Lord supports the afflicted; He brings down the wicked to the ground.(nas) Psa 147:6 ἀναλαμβάνων πραεῖς ὁ κύριος ταπεινῶν δὲ ἁμαρτωλοὺς ἕως τῆς γῆς (lxx) Psa 147:6 [Vulgate 146:6] suscipiens mansuetos Dominus humilians impios usque ad terram(vulgate) 6 ׃147 מְעוֹדֵ֣ד עֲנָוִ֣ים יְהוָ֑ה מַשְׁפִּ֖יל רְשָׁעִ֣ים עֲדֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃ Psalms Psa 147:6 Der Herr richtet auf die Elenden und stößt die Gottlosen zu Boden.(dhs) Psa 147:6 The Lord lifts up the humble; Praise your God, O Zion!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:13 ============ Psa 147:13 For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you.(nas) Psa 147:13 ὅτι ἐνίσχυσεν τοὺς μοχλοὺς τῶν πυλῶν σου εὐλόγησεν τοὺς υἱούς σου ἐν σοί (lxx) Psa 147:13 quia confortavit vectes portarum tuarum benedixit filiis tuis in medio tui(vulgate) 13 ׃147 כִּֽי־חִ֭זַּק בְּרִיחֵ֣י שְׁעָרָ֑יִךְ בֵּרַ֖ךְ בָּנַ֣יִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּֽךְ׃ Psalms Psa 147:13 Denn er macht fest die Riegel deiner Tore und segnet deine Kinder drinnen.(dhs) Psa 147:13 For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:14 ============ Psa 147:14 He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.(nas) Psa 147:14 ὁ τιθεὶς τὰ ὅριά σου εἰρήνην καὶ στέαρ πυροῦ ἐμπιπλῶν σε (lxx) Psa 147:14 qui posuit terminum tuum pacem adipe frumenti saturavit te(vulgate) 14 ׃147 הַשָּׂם־גְּבוּלֵ֥ךְ שָׁל֑וֹם חֵ֥לֶב חִ֝טִּ֗ים יַשְׂבִּיעֵֽךְ׃ Psalms Psa 147:14 Er schafft deinen Grenzen Frieden und sättigt dich mit dem besten Weizen.(dhs) Psa 147:14 He makes peace in your borders, And fills you with the finest wheat.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:15 ============ Psa 147:15 He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.(nas) Psa 147:15 ὁ ἀποστέλλων τὸ λόγιον αὐτοῦ τῇ γῇ ἕως τάχους δραμεῖται ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 147:15 qui emittit eloquium suum terrae velociter curret verbum eius(vulgate) 15 ׃147 הַשֹּׁלֵ֣חַ אִמְרָת֣וֹ אָ֑רֶץ עַד־מְ֝הֵרָ֗ה יָר֥וּץ דְּבָרֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 147:15 Er sendet seine Rede auf Erden; sein Wort läuft schnell.(dhs) Psa 147:15 He sends out His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:16 ============ Psa 147:16 He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes.(nas) Psa 147:16 τοῦ διδόντος χιόνα ὡσεὶ ἔριον ὁμίχλην ὡσεὶ σποδὸν πάσσοντος (lxx) Psa 147:16 qui dat nivem quasi lanam pruinas quasi cinerem spargit(vulgate) 16 ׃147 הַנֹּתֵ֣ן שֶׁ֣לֶג כַּצָּ֑מֶר כְּ֝פ֗וֹר כָּאֵ֥פֶר יְפַזֵּֽר׃ Psalms Psa 147:16 Er gibt Schnee wie Wolle, er streut Reif wie Asche.(dhs) Psa 147:16 He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:17 ============ Psa 147:17 He casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold?(nas) Psa 147:17 βάλλοντος κρύσταλλον αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ ψωμούς κατὰ πρόσωπον ψύχους αὐτοῦ τίς ὑποστήσεται (lxx) Psa 147:17 proicit glaciem suam quasi buccellas ante faciem frigoris eius quis stabit(vulgate) 17 ׃147 מַשְׁלִ֣יךְ קַֽרְח֣וֹ כְפִתִּ֑ים לִפְנֵ֥י קָ֝רָת֗וֹ מִ֣י יַעֲמֹֽד׃ Psalms Psa 147:17 Er wirft seine Schloßen wie Bissen; wer kann bleiben vor seinem Frost?(dhs) Psa 147:17 He casts out His hail like morsels; Who can stand before His cold?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:18 ============ Psa 147:18 He sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.(nas) Psa 147:18 ἀποστελεῖ τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ καὶ τήξει αὐτά πνεύσει τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ῥυήσεται ὕδατα (lxx) Psa 147:18 mittet verbum suum et solvet illa spirabit spiritu suo et fluent aquae(vulgate) 18 ׃147 יִשְׁלַ֣ח דְּבָר֣וֹ וְיַמְסֵ֑ם יַשֵּׁ֥ב ר֝וּח֗וֹ יִזְּלוּ־מָֽיִם׃ Psalms Psa 147:18 Er spricht, so zerschmilzt es; er läßt seinen Wind wehen, so taut es auf.(dhs) Psa 147:18 He sends out His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:19 ============ Psa 147:19 He declares His words to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel.(nas) Psa 147:19 ἀπαγγέλλων τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ τῷ Ιακωβ δικαιώματα καὶ κρίματα αὐτοῦ τῷ Ισραηλ (lxx) Psa 147:19 qui adnuntiat verbum suum Iacob praecepta sua et iudicia sua Israhel(vulgate) 19 ׃147 מַגִּ֣יד *דברו **דְּבָרָ֣יו לְיַעֲקֹ֑ב חֻקָּ֥יו וּ֝מִשְׁפָּטָ֗יו לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Psalms Psa 147:19 Er zeigt Jakob sein Wort, Israel seine Sitten und Rechte.(dhs) Psa 147:19 He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 147:20 ============ Psa 147:20 He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them.
