Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise in the congregation of the godly ones.(nas) Psa 149:1 αλληλουια ᾄσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ᾆσμα καινόν ἡ αἴνεσις αὐτοῦ ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ ὁσίων (lxx) Psa 149:1 alleluia cantate Domino canticum novum laus eius in congregatione sanctorum(vulgate) 1 ׃149 הַ֥לְלוּיָ֨הּ ׀ שִׁ֣ירוּ לַֽ֭יהוָה שִׁ֣יר חָדָ֑שׁ תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ בִּקְהַ֥ל חֲסִידִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 149:1 Halleluja! Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied; die Gemeinde der Heiligen soll ihn loben.(dhs) Psa 149:1 Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 149:2 ============ Psa 149:2 Let Israel be glad in his Maker; Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King.(nas) Psa 149:2 εὐφρανθήτω Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τῷ ποιήσαντι αὐτόν καὶ υἱοὶ Σιων ἀγαλλιάσθωσαν ἐπὶ τῷ βασιλεῖ αὐτῶν (lxx) Psa 149:2 laetetur Israhel in factore suo filii Sion exultent in rege suo(vulgate) 2 ׃149 יִשְׂמַ֣ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל בְּעֹשָׂ֑יו בְּנֵֽי־צִ֝יּ֗וֹן יָגִ֥ילוּ בְמַלְכָּֽם׃ Psalms Psa 149:2 Israel freue sich des, der es gemacht hat; die Kinder Zions seien fröhlich über ihren König.(dhs) Psa 149:2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 149:3 ============ Psa 149:3 Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre.(nas) Psa 149:3 αἰνεσάτωσαν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐν χορῷ ἐν τυμπάνῳ καὶ ψαλτηρίῳ ψαλάτωσαν αὐτῷ (lxx) Psa 149:3 laudent nomen eius in choro in tympano et cithara cantent ei(vulgate) 3 ׃149 יְהַֽלְל֣וּ שְׁמ֣וֹ בְמָח֑וֹל בְּתֹ֥ף וְ֝כִנּ֗וֹר יְזַמְּרוּ־לֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 149:3 Sie sollen loben seinen Namen im Reigen; mit Pauken und Harfen sollen sie ihm spielen.(dhs) Psa 149:3 Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 149:4 ============ Psa 149:4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.(nas) Psa 149:4 ὅτι εὐδοκεῖ κύριος ἐν λαῷ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὑψώσει πραεῖς ἐν σωτηρίᾳ (lxx) Psa 149:4 quia conplacet sibi Dominus in populo suo exaltabit mansuetos in Iesu(vulgate) 4 ׃149 כִּֽי־רוֹצֶ֣ה יְהוָ֣ה בְּעַמּ֑וֹ יְפָאֵ֥ר עֲ֝נָוִ֗ים בִּישׁוּעָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 149:4 Denn der HERR hat Wohlgefallen an seinem Volk; er hilft den Elenden herrlich.(dhs) Psa 149:4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 149:5 ============ Psa 149:5 Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds.(nas) Psa 149:5 καυχήσονται ὅσιοι ἐν δόξῃ καὶ ἀγαλλιάσονται ἐπὶ τῶν κοιτῶν αὐτῶν (lxx) Psa 149:5 exultabunt sancti in gloria laudabunt in cubilibus suis(vulgate) 5 ׃149 יַעְלְז֣וּ חֲסִידִ֣ים בְּכָב֑וֹד יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ עַל־מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 149:5 Die Heiligen sollen fröhlich sein und preisen und rühmen auf ihren Lagern.(dhs) Psa 149:5 Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 149:6 ============ Psa 149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,(nas) Psa 149:6 αἱ ὑψώσεις τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν τῷ λάρυγγι αὐτῶν καὶ ῥομφαῖαι δίστομοι ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῶν (lxx) Psa 149:6 exaltationes Dei in gutture eorum et gladii ancipites in manibus eorum(vulgate) 6 ׃149 רוֹמְמ֣וֹת אֵ֭ל בִּגְרוֹנָ֑ם וְחֶ֖רֶב פִּֽיפִיּ֣וֹת בְּיָדָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 149:6 Ihr Mund soll Gott erheben, und sie sollen scharfe Schwerter in ihren Händen haben,(dhs) Psa 149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 149:7 ============ Psa 149:7 To execute vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples,(nas) Psa 149:7 τοῦ ποιῆσαι ἐκδίκησιν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἐλεγμοὺς ἐν τοῖς λαοῖς (lxx) Psa 149:7 ad faciendam vindictam in gentibus increpationes in populis(vulgate) 7 ׃149 לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת נְ֭קָמָה בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם תּֽ֝וֹכֵחֹ֗ת בַּל־אֻמִּֽים׃ Psalms Psa 149:7 daß sie Rache üben unter den Heiden, Strafe unter den Völkern;(dhs) Psa 149:7 To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 149:8 ============ Psa 149:8 To bind their kings with chains And their nobles with fetters of iron,(nas) Psa 149:8 τοῦ δῆσαι τοὺς βασιλεῖς αὐτῶν ἐν πέδαις καὶ τοὺς ἐνδόξους αὐτῶν ἐν χειροπέδαις σιδηραῖς (lxx) Psa 149:8 ut alligent reges eorum catenis et inclitos eorum conpedibus ferreis(vulgate) 8 ׃149 לֶאְסֹ֣ר מַלְכֵיהֶ֣ם בְּזִקִּ֑ים וְ֝נִכְבְּדֵיהֶ֗ם בְּכַבְלֵ֥י בַרְזֶֽל׃ Psalms Psa 149:8 ihre Könige zu binden mit Ketten und ihre Edlen mit eisernen Fesseln;(dhs) Psa 149:8 To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 149:9 ============ Psa 149:9 To execute on them the judgment written; This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the Lord!(nas) Psa 149:9 τοῦ ποιῆσαι ἐν αὐτοῖς κρίμα ἔγγραπτον δόξα αὕτη ἐστὶν πᾶσι τοῖς ὁσίοις αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 149:9 ut faciant in eis iudicium scriptum decor est omnium sanctorum eius alleluia(vulgate) 9 ׃149 לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת בָּהֶ֨ם ׀ מִשְׁפָּ֬ט כָּת֗וּב הָדָ֣ר ה֭וּא לְכָל־חֲסִידָ֗יו הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ Psalms Psa 149:9 daß sie ihnen tun das Recht, davon geschrieben ist. Solche Ehre werden alle seine Heiligen haben. Halleluja!(dhs) Psa 149:9 To execute on them the written judgment-- This honor have all His saints.
