(Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:1 Ego sum vitis vera, et Pater meus agricola est.(vulgate) אָנֹכִי הַגֶּפֶן גֶּפֶן אֱמֶת וְאָבִי הַכֹּרֵם׃ א John Jn 15:1 Ich bin der rechte Weinstock, und mein Vater der Weingärtner.(dhs) Jn 15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.(nkjv) ======= John 15:2 ============ Jn 15:2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.(nas) Jn 15:2 πᾶν κλῆμα ἐν ἐμοὶ μὴ φέρον καρπόν, αἴρει αὐτό, καὶ πᾶν τὸ καρπὸν φέρον καθαίρει αὐτὸ ἵνα καρπὸν πλείονα φέρῃ. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:2 Omnem palmitem in me non ferentem fructum, tollet eum, et omnem qui fert fructum, purgabit eum, ut fructum plus afferat.(vulgate) כָּל־זְמוֹרָה מִמֶּנִּי אֲשֶׁר לֹא תַעֲשֶׂה עֲנָבִים יְכְרְתֶנָּה וַאֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂה עֲנָבִים יְקַיְמֶנָּה לְהַרְבּוֹת אֶת־פִּרְיָהּ׃ ב John Jn 15:2 Eine jeglich Rebe an mir, die nicht Frucht bringt, wird er wegnehmen; und eine jegliche, die da Frucht bringt, wird er reinigen, daß sie mehr Frucht bringe.(dhs) Jn 15:2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.(nkjv) ======= John 15:3 ============ Jn 15:3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.(nas) Jn 15:3 ἤδη ὑμεῖς καθαροί ἐστε διὰ τὸν λόγον ὃν λελάληκα ὑμῖν· (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:3 Jam vos mundi estis propter sermonem quem locutus sum vobis.(vulgate) וְאַתֶּם זַכִּים הִנְּכֶם כַּיּוֹם עַל־פִּי דְבָרַי אֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶם׃ ג John Jn 15:3 Ihr seid schon rein um des Wortes willen, das ich zu euch geredet habe.(dhs) Jn 15:3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.(nkjv) ======= John 15:4 ============ Jn 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.(nas) Jn 15:4 μείνατε ἐν ἐμοί, κἀγὼ ἐν ὑμῖν. καθὼς τὸ κλῆμα οὐ δύναται καρπὸν φέρειν ἀφ᾽ ἑαυτοῦ ἐὰν μὴ μένῃ ἐν τῇ ἀμπέλῳ, οὕτως οὐδὲ ὑμεῖς ἐὰν μὴ ἐν ἐμοὶ μένητε. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:4 Manete in me, et ego in vobis. Sicut palmes non potest fere fructum a semetipso, nisi manserit in vite, sic nec vos, nisi in me manseritis.(vulgate) הֱיוּ דְבֵקִים בִּי וַאֲנִי בָכֶם כִּי כַּאֲשֶׁר הַזְּמֹרָה פְּרִי בַל־תַּעֲשֶׂה מֵאֵלֶיהָ אִם־לֹא דָבְקָה בַגָּפֶן כֵּן גַּם־אַתֶּם אִם־לֹא תִדְבְּקוּן בִּי׃ ד John Jn 15:4 Bleibet in mir und ich in euch. Gleichwie die Rebe kann keine Frucht bringen von ihr selber, sie bleibe denn am Weinstock, also auch ihr nicht, ihr bleibet denn in mir.(dhs) Jn 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:5 Ego sum vitis, vos palmites: qui manet in me, et ego in eo, hic fert fructum multum, quia sine me nihil potestis facere.(vulgate) אֲנֹכִי הַגֶּפֶן וְאַתֶּם הַזְּמֹרוֹת הַדָּבֵק בִּי וְאֲנִי בוֹ הוּא יְשַׁוֶּה רֹב פֶּרִי כִּי בִּלְעָדַי לֹא תוּכְלוּ עֲשׂוֹת מְאוּמָה׃ ה John Jn 15:5 Ich bin der Weinstock, ihr seid die Reben. Wer in mir bleibt und ich in ihm, der bringt viele Frucht, denn ohne mich könnt ihr nichts tun.(dhs) Jn 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.(nkjv) ======= John 15:6 ============ Jn 15:6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.(nas) Jn 15:6 ἐὰν μή τις μένῃ ἐν ἐμοί, ἐβλήθη ἔξω ὡς τὸ κλῆμα καὶ ἐξηράνθη, καὶ συνάγουσιν αὐτὰ καὶ εἰς τὸ πῦρ βάλλουσιν καὶ καίεται. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:6 Si quis in me non manserit, mittetur foras sicut palmes, et arescet, et colligent eum, et in ignem mittent, et ardet.(vulgate) מִי אֲשֶׁר לֹא יִדְבַּק בִי יַשְׁלִיכֻהוּ כְּנֵצֶר אֲשֶׁר יִיבָשׁ וּמְקֹשֵׁשׁ יְקֹשְׁשֶׁנּוּ וּנְתָנוֹ לָאֵשׁ וְהָיָה לְבָעֵר׃ ו John Jn 15:6 Wer nicht in mir bleibt, der wird weggeworfen wie eine Rebe und verdorrt, und man sammelt sie und wirft sie ins Feuer, und müssen brennen.(dhs) Jn 15:6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.(nkjv) ======= John 15:7 ============ Jn 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.(nas) Jn 15:7 ἐὰν μείνητε ἐν ἐμοὶ καὶ τὰ ῥήματά μου ἐν ὑμῖν μείνῃ, ὃ ἐὰν θέλητε αἰτήσασθε καὶ γενήσεται ὑμῖν. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:7 Si manseritis in me, et verba mea in vobis manserint, quodcumque volueritis petetis, et fiet vobis.(vulgate) אִם־בִּי אַתֶּם דְּבֵקִים וּדְבָרַי שְׁמֻרִים בָּכֶם תִּשְׁאֲלוּ וְיֵעָשֶׂה לָכֶם כְּכָל־מִשְׁאֲלוֹת לִבְּכֶם׃ ז John Jn 15:7 So ihr in mir bleibet und meine Worte in euch bleiben, so werdet ihr bitten, was ihr wollt, und es wird euch widerfahren.(dhs) Jn 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.(nkjv) ======= John 15:8 ============ Jn 15:8 My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.(nas) Jn 15:8 ἐν τούτῳ ἐδοξάσθη ὁ πατήρ μου, ἵνα καρπὸν πολὺν φέρητε καὶ γένησθε ἐμοὶ μαθηταί. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:8 In hoc clarificatus est Pater meus, ut fructum plurimum afferatis, et efficiamini mei discipuli.~(vulgate) בְּזֹאת יִגְדַּל כְּבוֹד אָבִי כִּי־תַעֲשׂוּ רֹב פֶּרִי וִהְיִיתֶם לִי לְתַלְמִידִים׃ ח John Jn 15:8 Darin wird mein Vater geehrt, daß ihr viel Frucht bringet und werdet meine Jünger.(dhs) Jn 15:8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.(nkjv) ======= John 15:9 ============ Jn 15:9 Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.(nas) Jn 15:9 καθὼς ἠγάπησέν με ὁ πατήρ, κἀγὼ ὑμᾶς ἠγάπησα· μείνατε ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ τῇ ἐμῇ. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:9 Sicut dilexit me Pater, et ego dilexi vos. Manete in dilectione mea.(vulgate) כַּאֲשֶׁר אֲהַב אֹתִי הָאָב כֵּן אָהַבְתִּי אֶתְכֶם חֲסוּ בְאַהֲבָתִי תָּמִיד׃ ט John Jn 15:9 Gleichwie mich mein Vater liebt, also liebe ich euch auch. Bleibet in meiner Liebe!(dhs) Jn 15:9 "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.(nkjv) ======= John 15:10 ============ Jn 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.(nas) Jn 15:10 ἐὰν τὰς ἐντολάς μου τηρήσητε, μενεῖτε ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ μου, καθὼς ἐγὼ τὰς ἐντολὰς τοῦ πατρός μου τετήρηκα καὶ μένω αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:10 Si præcepta mea servaveritis, manebitis in dilectione mea, sicut et ego Patris mei præcepta servavi, et maneo in ejus dilectione.(vulgate) אִם אֶת־מִצְוֹתַי תִּשְׁמְרוּ תֶּחֱסוּ בְאַהֲבָתִי תָּמִיד כַּאֲשֶׁר גַּם־אֲנֹכִי מִצְוֹת אָבִי שָׁמַרְתִּי וְאֶחֱסֶה בְאַהֲבָתוֹ תָּמִיד׃ י John Jn 15:10 So ihr meine Gebote haltet, so bleibet ihr in meiner Liebe, gleichwie ich meines Vaters Gebote halte und bleibe in seiner Liebe.(dhs) Jn 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.(nkjv) ======= John 15:11 ============ Jn 15:11 These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.(nas) Jn 15:11 ταῦτα λελάληκα ὑμῖν ἵνα ἡ χαρὰ ἡ ἐμὴ ἐν ὑμῖν ᾖ καὶ ἡ χαρὰ ὑμῶν πληρωθῇ. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:11 Hæc locutus sum vobis: ut gaudium meum in vobis sit, et gaudium vestrum impleatur.(vulgate) אֶת־הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶה דִּבַּרְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶם לְבַעֲבוּר תִּהְיֶה שִׂמְחָתִי עֲלֵיכֶם וְשִׂמְחַתְכֶם תִּמָּלֵא נַפְשֵׁכֶם׃ יא John Jn 15:11 Solches rede ich zu euch, auf daß meine Freude in euch bleibe und eure Freude vollkommen werde.(dhs) Jn 15:11 These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.(nkjv) ======= John 15:12 ============ Jn 15:12 "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.(nas) Jn 15:12 αὕτη ἐστὶν ἡ ἐντολὴ ἡ ἐμή, ἵνα ἀγαπᾶτε ἀλλήλους καθὼς ἠγάπησα ὑμᾶς· (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:12 Hoc est præceptum meum, ut diligatis invicem, sicut dilexi vos.(vulgate) וְזֹאת הִיא מְצְוָתִי לְאַהֲבָה אִישׁ אֶת־אָחִיו כַּאֲשֶׁר אֲנֹכִי אָהַבְתִּי אֶתְכֶם׃ יב John Jn 15:12 Das ist mein Gebot, daß ihr euch untereinander liebet, gleichwie ich euch liebe.(dhs) Jn 15:12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.(nkjv) ======= John 15:13 ============ Jn 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.(nas) Jn 15:13 μείζονα ταύτης ἀγάπην οὐδεὶς ἔχει, ἵνα τις τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ θῇ ὑπὲρ τῶν φίλων αὐτοῦ. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:13 Majorem hac dilectionem nemo habet, ut animam suam ponat qui pro amicis suis.(vulgate) אֵין לְאִישׁ אַהֲבָה רַבָּה מֵאֲשֶׁר אִם יִתֵּן אֶת־נַפְשׁוֹ בְּעַד יְדִידָיו׃ יג John Jn 15:13 Niemand hat größere Liebe denn die, daß er sein Leben läßt für seine Freunde.(dhs) Jn 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.(nkjv) ======= John 15:14 ============ Jn 15:14 You are My friends if you do what I command you.(nas) Jn 15:14 ὑμεῖς φίλοι μού ἐστε ἐὰν ποιῆτε ἃ ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:14 Vos amici mei estis, si feceritis quæ ego præcipio vobis.(vulgate) וְאַתֶּם יְדִידַי הִנְּכֶם רַק אִם־תַּעֲשׂוּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר־אֲנֹכִי מְצַוֶּה אֶתְכֶם׃ יד John Jn 15:14 Ihr seid meine Freunde, so ihr tut, was ich euch gebiete.(dhs) Jn 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.(nkjv) ======= John 15:15 ============ Jn 15:15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.(nas) Jn 15:15 οὐκέτι λέγω ὑμᾶς δούλους, ὅτι ὁ δοῦλος οὐκ οἶδεν τί ποιεῖ αὐτοῦ ὁ κύριος· ὑμᾶς δὲ εἴρηκα φίλους, ὅτι πάντα ἃ ἤκουσα παρὰ τοῦ πατρός μου ἐγνώρισα ὑμῖν. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:15 Jam non dicam vos servos: quia servus nescit quid faciat dominus ejus. Vos autem dixi amicos: quia omnia quæcumque audivi a Patre meo, nota feci vobis.(vulgate) לֹא עוֹד עֲבָדִים אֶקְרָא לָכֶם כִּי הָעֶבֶד אֵינֶנּוּ יֹדֵעַ אֶת־אֲשֶׁר אֲדֹנָיו עֹשֶׂה אַךְ לָכֶם קָרָאתִי יְדִידַי כִּי הוֹדַעְתִּי אֶתְכֶם כֹּל אֲשֶׁר שָׁמַעְתִּי מִפִּי אָבִי׃ טו John Jn 15:15 Ich sage hinfort nicht, daß ihr Knechte seid; denn ein Knecht weiß nicht, was sein Herr tut. Euch aber habe ich gesagt, daß ihr Freunde seid; denn alles, was ich habe von meinem Vater gehört, habe ich euch kundgetan.(dhs) Jn 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.(nkjv) ======= John 15:16 ============ Jn 15:16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.(nas) Jn 15:16 οὐχ ὑμεῖς με ἐξελέξασθε, ἀλλ᾽ ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς καὶ ἔθηκα ὑμᾶς ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑπάγητε καὶ καρπὸν φέρητε καὶ ὁ καρπὸς ὑμῶν μένῃ, ἵνα ὅ τι ἂν αἰτήσητε τὸν πατέρα ἐν τῶ ὀνόματί μου δῶ ὑμῖν. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:18 Si mundus vos odit, scitote quia me priorem vobis odio habuit.(vulgate) אִם־הָעוֹלָם יִשְׂנָא אֶתְכֶם הֲלֹא יְדַעְתֶּם כִּי אֹתִי שָׂנֵא לִפְנֵיכֶם׃ יח John Jn 15:18 So euch die Welt haßt, so wisset, daß sie mich vor euch gehaßt hat.(dhs) Jn 15:18 "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.(nkjv) ======= John 15:19 ============ Jn 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.(nas) Jn 15:19 εἰ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου ἦτε, ὁ κόσμος ἂν τὸ ἴδιον ἐφίλει· ὅτι δὲ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου οὐκ ἐστέ, ἀλλ᾽ ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου, διὰ τοῦτο μισεῖ ὑμᾶς ὁ κόσμος. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:19 Si de mundo fuissetis, mundus quod suum erat diligeret: quia vero de mundo non estis, sed ego elegi vos de mundo, propterea odit vos mundus.(vulgate) לוּ הֱיִיתֶם מִן־הָעוֹלָם הָעוֹלָם יֶאֱהַב אֵת אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ אַךְ יַעַן כִּי־אֵין אַתֶּם מִן־הָעוֹלָם וַאֲנִי בָחַרְתִּי בָכֶם מִן־הָעוֹלָם עַל־כֵּן יִשְׂנָא אֶתְכֶם הָעוֹלָם׃ יט John Jn 15:19 Wäret ihr von der Welt, so hätte die Welt das Ihre lieb; weil ihr aber nicht von der Welt seid, sondern ich habe euch von der Welt erwählt, darum haßt euch die Welt.(dhs) Jn 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.(nkjv) ======= John 15:20 ============ Jn 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you, 'A slave is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also.(nas) Jn 15:20 μνημονεύετε τοῦ λόγου οὖ ἐγὼ εἶπον ὑμῖν, οὐκ ἔστιν δοῦλος μείζων τοῦ κυρίου αὐτοῦ. εἰ ἐμὲ ἐδίωξαν, καὶ ὑμᾶς διώξουσιν· εἰ τὸν λόγον μου ἐτήρησαν, καὶ τὸν ὑμέτερον τηρήσουσιν. (Nestle-Aland) Jn 15:20 Mementote sermonis mei, quem ego dixi vobis: non est servus major domino suo. Si me persecuti sunt, et vos persequentur; si sermonem meum servaverunt, et vestrum servabunt.(vulgate) זִכְרוּ אֶת־הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר אָמַרְתִּי לָכֶם הָעֶבֶד אֵינֶנּוּ גָדוֹל מֵאֲדֹנָיו אִם־רָדְפוּ אֹתִי גַּם־אֶתְכֶם יִרְדֹּפוּ אִם־שָׁמְרוּ אֶת־דְּבָרַי גַּם אֶת־דִּבְרֵיכֶם יִשְׁמֹרוּ׃ כ John Jn 15:20 Gedenket an mein Wort, das ich euch gesagt habe: "Der Knecht ist nicht größer denn sein Herr." Haben sie mich verfolgt, sie werden euch auch verfolgen; haben sie mein Wort gehalten, so werden sie eures auch halten.(dhs) Jn 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.(nkjv) ======= John 15:21 ============ Jn 15:21 But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me.(nas) Jn 15:21 ἀλλὰ ταῦτα πάντα ποιήσουσιν εἰς ὑμᾶς διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου, ὅτι οὐκ οἴδασιν τὸν πέμψαντά με.
