Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 15:11 ============ Isa 15:11 The oracle concerning Moab. Surely in a night Ar of Moab is devastated and ruined; Surely in a night Kir of Moab is devastated and ruined. (nas) Isa 15:1 τὸ ῥῆμα τὸ κατὰ τῆς Μωαβίτιδος νυκτὸς ἀπολεῖται ἡ Μωαβῖτις νυκτὸς γὰρ ἀπολεῖται τὸ τεῖχος τῆς Μωαβίτιδος (lxx) Isa 15:1 Onus Moab. [Quia nocte vastata est Ar Moab, conticuit; quia nocte vastatus est murus Moab, conticuit.(vulgate) Isaiah 15:1 The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, & brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.(Geneva) Isa 15:1 Dies ist die Last über Moab: Des Nachts kommt Verstörung über Ar in Moab; sie ist dahin. Des Nachts kommt Verstörung über Kir in Moab; sie ist dahin.(dhs) Isa 15:1 The burden against Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste And destroyed, Because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste And destroyed,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 15:2 ============ Isa 15:2 They have gone up to the temple and to Dibon, even to the high places to weep. Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba; Everyone's head is bald and every beard is cut off. (nas) Isa 15:2 λυπεῖσθε ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτοῖς ἀπολεῖται γὰρ καὶ Δηβων οὗ ὁ βωμὸς ὑμῶν ἐκεῖ ἀναβήσεσθε κλαίειν ἐπὶ Ναβαυ τῆς Μωαβίτιδος ὀλολύζετε ἐπὶ πάσης κεφαλῆς φαλάκρωμα πάντες βραχίονες κατατετμημένοι (lxx) Isa 15:2 Ascendit domus, et Dibon ad excelsa, in planctum super Nabo; et super Medaba, Moab ululavit; in cunctis capitibus ejus calvitium, et omnis barba radetur.(vulgate) Isaiah 15:2 He shal goe vp to the temple, & to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo & for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.(Geneva) Isa 15:2 Sie gehen hinauf gen Baith und Dibon zu den Altären, daß sie weinen, und heulen über Nebo und Medeba in Moab. Aller Haupt ist kahl geschoren, aller Bart ist abgeschnitten.(dhs) Isa 15:2 He has gone up to the temple and Dibon, To the high places to weep. Moab will wail over Nebo and over Medeba; On all their heads will be baldness, And every beard cut off.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 15:3 ============ Isa 15:3 In their streets they have girded themselves with sackcloth; On their housetops and in their squares Everyone is wailing, dissolved in tears. (nas) Isa 15:3 ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις αὐτῆς περιζώσασθε σάκκους καὶ κόπτεσθε ἐπὶ τῶν δωμάτων αὐτῆς καὶ ἐν ταῖς ῥύμαις αὐτῆς πάντες ὀλολύζετε μετὰ κλαυθμοῦ (lxx) Isa 15:3 In triviis ejus accincti sunt sacco; super tecta ejus et in plateis ejus omnis ululatus descendit in fletum.(vulgate) Isaiah 15:3 In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.(Geneva) Isa 15:3 Auf ihren Gassen gehen sie mit Säcken umgürtet; auf ihren Dächern und Straßen heulen sie alle und gehen weinend herab.(dhs) Isa 15:3 In their streets they will clothe themselves with sackcloth; On the tops of their houses And in their streets Everyone will wail, weeping bitterly.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 15:4 ============ Isa 15:4 Heshbon and Elealeh also cry out, Their voice is heard all the way to Jahaz; Therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud; His soul trembles within him. (nas) Isa 15:4 ὅτι κέκραγεν Εσεβων καὶ Ελεαλη ἕως Ιασσα ἠκούσθη ἡ φωνὴ αὐτῶν διὰ τοῦτο ἡ ὀσφὺς τῆς Μωαβίτιδος βοᾷ ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῆς γνώσεται (lxx) Isa 15:4 Clamabit Hesebon et Eleale, usque Jasa audita est vox eorum; super hoc expediti Moab ululabunt, anima ejus ululabit sibi.(vulgate) Isaiah 15:4 And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.(Geneva) Isa 15:4 Hesbon und Eleale schreien, daß man's zu Jahza hört. Darum wehklagen die Gerüsteten in Moab; denn es geht ihrer Seele übel.(dhs) Isa 15:4 Heshbon and Elealeh will cry out, Their voice shall be heard as far as Jahaz; Therefore the armed soldiers of Moab will cry out; His life will be burdensome to him.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 15:5 ============ Isa 15:5 My heart cries out for Moab; His fugitives are as far as Zoar and Eglath-shelishiyah, For they go up the ascent of Luhith weeping; Surely on the road to Horonaim they raise a cry of distress over their ruin. (nas) Isa 15:5 ἡ καρδία τῆς Μωαβίτιδος βοᾷ ἐν αὐτῇ ἕως Σηγωρ δάμαλις γάρ ἐστιν τριετής ἐπὶ δὲ τῆς ἀναβάσεως τῆς Λουιθ πρὸς σὲ κλαίοντες ἀναβήσονται τῇ ὁδῷ Αρωνιιμ βοᾷ σύντριμμα καὶ σεισμός (lxx) Isa 15:5 Cor meum ad Moab clamabit; vectes ejus usque ad Segor, vitulam conternantem; per ascensum enim Luith flens ascendet, et in via Oronaim clamorem contritionis levabunt.(vulgate) Isaiah 15:5 Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shal flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.(Geneva) Isa 15:5 Mein Herz schreit über Moab, seine Flüchtigen fliehen bis gen Zoar, bis zum dritten Eglath. Denn sie gehen gen Luhith hinan und weinen, und auf dem Wege nach Horonaim zu erhebt sich ein Jammergeschrei.(dhs) Isa 15:5 "My heart will cry out for Moab; His fugitives shall flee to Zoar, Like a three-year-old heifer. For by the Ascent of Luhith They will go up with weeping; For in the way of Horonaim They will raise up a cry of destruction,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 15:6 ============ Isa 15:6 For the waters of Nimrim are desolate. Surely the grass is withered, the tender grass died out, There is no green thing. (nas) Isa 15:6 τὸ ὕδωρ τῆς Νεμριμ ἔρημον ἔσται καὶ ὁ χόρτος αὐτῆς ἐκλείψει χόρτος γὰρ χλωρὸς οὐκ ἔσται (lxx) Isa 15:6 Aquæ enim Nemrim desertæ erunt, quia aruit herba, defecit germen, viror omnis interiit.(vulgate) Isaiah 15:6 For the waters of Nimrim shal be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.(Geneva) Isa 15:6 Denn die Wasser zu Nimrim versiegen, daß das Gras verdorrt und das Kraut verwelkt und kein Grünes wächst.(dhs) Isa 15:6 For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate, For the green grass has withered away; The grass fails, there is nothing green.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 15:7 ============ Isa 15:7 Therefore the abundance which they have acquired and stored up They carry off over the brook of Arabim. (nas) Isa 15:7 μὴ καὶ οὕτως μέλλει σωθῆναι ἐπάξω γὰρ ἐπὶ τὴν φάραγγα Ἄραβας καὶ λήμψονται αὐτήν (lxx) Isa 15:7 Secundum magnitudinem operis, et visitatio eorum: ad torrentem Salicum ducent eos.(vulgate) Isaiah 15:7 Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.(Geneva) Isa 15:7 Denn das Gut, das sie gesammelt haben, und alles, was sie verwahrt haben, führt man über den Weidenbach.(dhs) Isa 15:7 Therefore the abundance they have gained, And what they have laid up, They will carry away to the Brook of the Willows.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 15:8 ============ Isa 15:8 For the cry of distress has gone around the territory of Moab, Its wail goes as far as Eglaim and its wailing even to Beer-elim. (nas) Isa 15:8 συνῆψεν γὰρ ἡ βοὴ τὸ ὅριον τῆς Μωαβίτιδος τῆς Αγαλλιμ καὶ ὀλολυγμὸς αὐτῆς ἕως τοῦ φρέατος τοῦ Αιλιμ (lxx) Isa 15:8 Quoniam circuivit clamor terminum Moab; usque ad Gallim ululatus ejus, et usque ad puteum Elim clamor ejus.(vulgate) Isaiah 15:8 For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,(Geneva) Isa 15:8 Geschrei geht um in den Grenzen Moabs; sie heulen bis gen Eglaim und heulen bei dem Born Elim.(dhs) Isa 15:8 For the cry has gone all around the borders of Moab, Its wailing to Eglaim And its wailing to Beer Elim.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 15:9 ============ Isa 15:9 For the waters of Dimon are full of blood; Surely I will bring added woes upon Dimon, A lion upon the fugitives of Moab and upon the remnant of the land. (nas) Isa 15:9 τὸ δὲ ὕδωρ τὸ Ρεμμων πλησθήσεται αἵματος ἐπάξω γὰρ ἐπὶ Ρεμμων Ἄραβας καὶ ἀρῶ τὸ σπέρμα Μωαβ καὶ Αριηλ καὶ τὸ κατάλοιπον Αδαμα (lxx) Isa 15:9 Quia aquæ Dibon repletæ sunt sanguine; ponam enim super Dibon additamenta; his qui fugerint de Moab leonem, et reliquiis terræ.](vulgate) Isaiah 15:9 Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.(Geneva) Isa 15:9 Denn die Wasser zu Dimon sind voll Blut. Dazu will ich über Dimon noch mehr kommen lassen, über die, so erhalten sind in Moab, einen Löwen, und über die übrigen im Lande.(dhs) Isa 15:9 For the waters of Dimon will be full of blood; Because I will bring more upon Dimon, Lions upon him who escapes from Moab, And on the remnant of the land."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 16:1 ============ Isa 16:1 Send the tribute lamb to the ruler of the land, From Sela by way of the wilderness to the mountain of the daughter of Zion. (nas) Isa 16:1 ἀποστελῶ ὡς ἑρπετὰ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν μὴ πέτρα ἔρημός ἐστιν τὸ ὄρος Σιων (lxx) Isa 16:1 [Emitte agnum, Domine, dominatorem terræ, de petra deserti ad montem filiæ Sion.(vulgate) Isaiah 16:1 Sende yee a lambe to the ruler of the worlde from the rocke of the wildernesse, vnto the mountaine of the daughter Zion.(Geneva) Isa 16:1 Schickt dem Landesherrn Lämmer von Sela aus der Wüste zum Berge der Tochter Zion!(dhs) Isa 16:1 Send the lamb to the ruler of the land, From Sela to the wilderness, To the mount of the daughter of Zion.(nkjv) |
