But after they had waited a long time and had seen nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and began to say that he was a god. (nas) Act 28:8 ἐγένετο δὲ τὸν πατέρα τοῦ ποπλίου πυρετοῖς καὶ δυσεντερίῳ συνεχόμενον κατακεῖσθαι, πρὸς ὃν ὁ παῦλος εἰσελθὼν καὶ προσευξάμενος ἐπιθεὶς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶ ἰάσατο αὐτόν.
