Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 13:1 ============ Eze 13:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 13:1 And ye word of ye Lord came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:1 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃13 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:1 Then the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:2 ============ Eze 13:2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;(KJV) Ezekiel 13:2 Sonne of man, prophecie against the prophets of Israel, that prophecie, and say thou vnto them, that prophecie out of their owne hearts, Heare the worde of the Lorde.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:2 Fils de l'homme, prophétise contre les prophètes d'Israël qui prophétisent, Et dis à ceux qui prophétisent selon leur propre coeur: Ecoutez la parole de l'Eternel!(FR) 2 ׃13 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵ֛א אֶל־נְבִיאֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הַנִּבָּאִ֑ים וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ לִנְבִיאֵ֣י מִלִּבָּ֔ם שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר־יְהוָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own inspiration, 'Listen to the word of the Lord! (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:3 ============ Eze 13:3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!(KJV) Ezekiel 13:3 Thus sayth the Lorde God, Woe vnto the foolish Prophets that followe their owne spirit, and haue seene nothing.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:3 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Malheur aux prophètes insensés, Qui suivent leur propre esprit et qui ne voient rien!(FR) 3 ׃13 כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה ה֖וֹי עַל־הַנְּבִיאִ֣ים הַנְּבָלִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֹלְכִ֛ים אַחַ֥ר רוּחָ֖ם וּלְבִלְתִּ֥י רָאֽוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:3 Thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit and have seen nothing. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:4 ============ Eze 13:4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:4 O Israel, thy Prophets are like the foxes in the waste places.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:4 Tels des renards au milieu des ruines, Tels sont tes prophètes, ô Israël!(FR) 4 ׃13 כְּשֻׁעָלִ֖ים בָּחֳרָב֑וֹת נְבִיאֶ֥יךָ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הָיֽוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:4 O Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:5 ============ Eze 13:5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:5 Ye haue not risen vp in the gappes, neither made vp the hedge for ye house of Israel, to stand in the battel in the daye of the Lorde.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:5 Vous n'êtes pas montés devant les brèches, Vous n'avez pas entouré d'un mur la maison d'Israël, Pour demeurer fermes dans le combat, Au jour de l'Eternel.(FR) 5 ׃13 לֹ֤א עֲלִיתֶם֙ בַּפְּרָצ֔וֹת וַתִּגְדְּר֥וּ גָדֵ֖ר עַל־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לַעֲמֹ֥ד בַּמִּלְחָמָ֖ה בְּי֥וֹם יְהוָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:5 You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the Lord. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:6 ============ Eze 13:6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:6 They haue seene vanitie, and lying diuination, saying, The Lord sayth it, and the Lorde hath not sent them: & they haue made others to hope that they would cofirme the word of their prophecie.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:6 Leurs visions sont vaines, et leurs oracles menteurs; Ils disent: L'Eternel a dit! Et l'Eternel ne les a point envoyés; Et ils font espérer que leur parole s'accomplira.(FR) 6 ׃13 חָ֤זוּ שָׁוְא֙ וְקֶ֣סֶם כָּזָ֔ב הָאֹֽמְרִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וַֽיהוָ֖ה לֹ֣א שְׁלָחָ֑ם וְיִֽחֲל֖וּ לְקַיֵּ֥ם דָּבָֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:6 They see falsehood and lying divination who are saying, 'The Lord declares, 'when the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope for the fulfillment of their word. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:7 ============ Eze 13:7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?(KJV) Ezekiel 13:7 Haue ye not seene a vaine vision? and haue yee not spoken a lying diuination? ye say, The Lorde sayth it, albeit I haue not spoken.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:7 Les visions que vous avez ne sont-elles pas vaines, Et les oracles que vous prononcez ne sont-ils pas menteurs? Vous dites: L'Eternel a dit! Et je n'ai point parlé.(FR) 7 ׃13 הֲל֤וֹא מַֽחֲזֵה־שָׁוְא֙ חֲזִיתֶ֔ם וּמִקְסַ֥ם כָּזָ֖ב אֲמַרְתֶּ֑ם וְאֹֽמְרִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וַאֲנִ֖י לֹ֥א דִבַּֽרְתִּי׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 13:7 Did you not see a false vision and speak a lying divination when you said, 'The Lord declares, 'but it is not I who have spoken?"'"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:8 ============ Eze 13:8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:8 Therefore thus sayth the Lorde God, Because ye haue spoken vanytie & haue seene lyes, therefore beholde, I am agaynst you, sayth the Lorde God,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:8 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Parce que vous dites des choses vaines, Et que vos visions sont des mensonges, Voici, j'en veux à vous, Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(FR) 8 ׃13 לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה יַ֚עַן דַּבֶּרְכֶ֣ם שָׁ֔וְא וַחֲזִיתֶ֖ם כָּזָ֑ב לָכֵן֙ הִנְנִ֣י אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:8 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Because you have spoken falsehood and seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you," declares the Lord God. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:9 ============ Eze 13:9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:9 And mine hande shalbe vpon the Prophets that see vanity, and diuine lies: they shall not be in the assemblie of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel: & yee shall know that I am the Lord God.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:9 Ma main sera contre les prophètes Dont les visions sont vaines et les oracles menteurs; Ils ne feront point partie de l'assemblée de mon peuple, Ils ne seront pas inscrits dans le livre de la maison d'Israël, Et ils n'entreront pas dans le pays d'Israël. Et vous saurez que je suis le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(FR) 9 ׃13 וְהָיְתָ֣ה יָדִ֗י אֶֽל־הַנְּבִיאִ֞ים הַחֹזִ֣ים שָׁוְא֮ וְהַקֹּסְמִ֣ים כָּזָב֒ בְּס֧וֹד עַמִּ֣י לֹֽא־יִהְי֗וּ וּבִכְתָ֤ב בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לֹ֣א יִכָּתֵ֔בוּ וְאֶל־אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֹ֣א יָבֹ֑אוּ וִידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:9 "So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, that you may know that I am the Lord God. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:10 ============ Eze 13:10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:(KJV) Ezekiel 13:10 And therefore, because they haue deceiued my people, saying, Peace, & there was no peace: and one buylt vp a wall, and behold, the others daubed it with vntempered morter,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:10 Ces choses arriveront parce qu'ils égarent mon peuple, En disant: Paix! quand il n'y a point de paix. Et mon peuple bâtit une muraille, Et eux, ils la couvrent de plâtre.(FR) 10 ׃13 יַ֣עַן וּבְיַ֜עַן הִטְע֧וּ אֶת־עַמִּ֛י לֵאמֹ֥ר שָׁל֖וֹם וְאֵ֣ין שָׁל֑וֹם וְהוּא֙ בֹּ֣נֶה חַ֔יִץ וְהִנָּ֛ם טָחִ֥ים אֹת֖וֹ תָּפֵֽל׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:10 It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash; (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:11 ============ Eze 13:11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:11 Say vnto them which daube it with vntempered morter, that it shall fall: for there shall come a great showre, and I wil sende haylestones, which shall cause it to fall, and a stormie winde shall breake it.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:11 Dis à ceux qui la couvrent de plâtre qu'elle s'écroulera; Une pluie violente surviendra; Et vous, pierres de grêle, vous tomberez, Et la tempête éclatera.(FR) 11 ׃13 אֱמֹ֛ר אֶל־טָחֵ֥י תָפֵ֖ל וְיִפֹּ֑ל הָיָ֣ה ׀ גֶּ֣שֶׁם שׁוֹטֵ֗ף וְאַתֵּ֜נָה אַבְנֵ֤י אֶלְגָּבִישׁ֙ תִּפֹּ֔לְנָה וְר֥וּחַ סְעָר֖וֹת תְּבַקֵּֽעַ׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:11 so tell those who plaster it over with whitewash, that it will fall. A flooding rain will come, and you, O hailstones, will fall; and a violent wind will break out. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:12 ============ Eze 13:12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?(KJV) Ezekiel 13:12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not bee sayd vnto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye haue daubed it?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:12 Et voici, la muraille s'écroule! ne vous dira-t-on pas: Où est le plâtre dont vous l'avez couverte?(FR) 12 ׃13 וְהִנֵּ֖ה נָפַ֣ל הַקִּ֑יר הֲלוֹא֙ יֵאָמֵ֣ר אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם אַיֵּ֥ה הַטִּ֖יחַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר טַחְתֶּֽם׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 13:12 Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?'"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:13 ============ Eze 13:13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:13 Therefore thus sayth the Lord God, I will cause a stormie winde to breake foorth in my wrath, & a great showre shall bee in mine anger, & hailestones in mine indignation to consume it.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:13 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Je ferai, dans ma fureur, éclater la tempête; Il surviendra, dans ma colère, une pluie violente; Et des pierres de grêle tomberont avec fureur pour détruire.(FR) 13 ׃13 לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה וּבִקַּעְתִּ֥י רֽוּחַ־סְעָר֖וֹת בַּֽחֲמָתִ֑י וְגֶ֤שֶׁם שֹׁטֵף֙ בְּאַפִּ֣י יִֽהְיֶ֔ה וְאַבְנֵ֥י אֶלְגָּבִ֖ישׁ בְּחֵמָ֥ה לְכָלָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:13 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:14 ============ Eze 13:14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:14 So I wil destroy the wall that ye haue daubed with vntempered morter, and bring it downe to the ground, so that the fundation thereof shalbe discouered, and it shall fal, and ye shalbe consumed in the middes thereof, and ye shall know, that I am the Lord.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:14 J'abattrai la muraille que vous avez couverte de plâtre, Je lui ferai toucher la terre, et ses fondements seront mis à nu; Elle s'écroulera, et vous périrez au milieu de ses ruines. Et vous saurez que je suis l'Eternel.(FR) 14 ׃13 וְהָ֨רַסְתִּ֜י אֶת־הַקִּ֨יר אֲשֶׁר־טַחְתֶּ֥ם תָּפֵ֛ל וְהִגַּעְתִּ֥יהוּ אֶל־הָאָ֖רֶץ וְנִגְלָ֣ה יְסֹד֑וֹ וְנָֽפְלָה֙ וּכְלִיתֶ֣ם בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:14 So I will tear down the wall which you plastered over with whitewash and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation is laid bare; and when it falls, you will be consumed in its midst. And you will know that I am the Lord. Et c'en est fait de ceux qui la replâtraient,(FR) 15 ׃13 וְכִלֵּיתִ֤י אֶת־חֲמָתִי֙ בַּקִּ֔יר וּבַטָּחִ֥ים אֹת֖וֹ תָּפֵ֑ל וְאֹמַ֤ר לָכֶם֙ אֵ֣ין הַקִּ֔יר וְאֵ֖ין הַטָּחִ֥ים אֹתֽוֹ׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:15 Thus I will spend My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it over with whitewash; and I will say to you, 'The wall is gone and its plasterers are gone, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:16 ============ Eze 13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.(KJV) Ezekiel 13:16 To wit, the Prophets of Israel, which prophesie vpon Ierusalem, and see visions of peace for it, and there is no peace, sayth the Lord God.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:16 Des prophètes d'Israël qui prophétisent sur Jérusalem, Et qui ont sur elle des visions de paix, Quand il n'y a point de paix! Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(FR) 16 ׃13 נְבִיאֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הַֽנִבְּאִים֙ אֶל־יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְהַחֹזִ֥ים לָ֖הּ חֲז֣וֹן שָׁלֹ֑ם וְאֵ֣ין שָׁלֹ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִֽה׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 13:16 along with the prophets of Israel who prophesy to Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,' declares the Lord God. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:17 ============ Eze 13:17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,(KJV) Ezekiel 13:17 Likewise thou sonne of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesie out of their owne heart: and prophesie thou against them, and say,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:17 Et toi, fils de l'homme, porte tes regards sur les filles de ton peuple Qui prophétisent selon leur propre coeur, Et prophétise contre elles!(FR) 17 ׃13 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם שִׂ֤ים פָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ אֶל־בְּנ֣וֹת עַמְּךָ֔ הַמִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וֹת מִֽלִבְּהֶ֑ן וְהִנָּבֵ֖א עֲלֵיהֶֽן׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:17 "Now you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who are prophesying from their own inspiration. Prophesy against them(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 13:18 ============ Eze 13:18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?(KJV) Ezekiel 13:18 Thus sayth the Lorde God, Woe vnto the women that sowe pillowes vnder al arme holes, and make vailes vpon the head of euery one that standeth vp, to hunt soules: will yee hunt ye soules of my people, and will yee giue life to the soules that come vnto you?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 13:18 Tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Malheur à celles qui fabriquent des coussinets pour toutes les aisselles, Et qui font des voiles pour la tête des gens de toute taille, Afin de surprendre les âmes! Pensez-vous surprendre les âmes de mon peuple, Et conserver vos propres âmes?(FR) 18 ׃13 וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הוֹי֩ לִֽמְתַפְּר֨וֹת כְּסָת֜וֹת עַ֣ל ׀ כָּל־אַצִּילֵ֣י יָדַ֗י וְעֹשׂ֧וֹת הַמִּסְפָּח֛וֹת עַל־רֹ֥אשׁ כָּל־קוֹמָ֖ה לְצוֹדֵ֣ד נְפָשׁ֑וֹת הַנְּפָשׁוֹת֙ תְּצוֹדֵ֣דְנָה לְעַמִּ֔י וּנְפָשׁ֖וֹת לָכֶ֥נָה תְחַיֶּֽינָה׃ Ezekiel Eze 13:18 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the women who sew magic bands on all wrists and make veils for the heads of persons of every stature to hunt down lives! Will you hunt down the lives of My people, but preserve the lives of others for yourselves?
