Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 17:1 ============ Eze 17:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 17:1 And the worde of the Lorde came vnto mee, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:1 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃17 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:1 Now the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:2 ============ Eze 17:2 Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel;(KJV) Ezekiel 17:2 Sonne of man, put foorth a parable and speake a prouerbe vnto the house of Israel,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:2 Fils de l'homme, propose une énigme, dis une parabole à la maison d'Israël!(FR) 2 ׃17 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם ח֥וּד חִידָ֖ה וּמְשֹׁ֣ל מָשָׁ֑ל אֶל־בֵּ֖ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:2 "Son of man, propound a riddle and speak a parable to the house of Israel, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:3 ============ Eze 17:3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:(KJV) Ezekiel 17:3 And say, Thus saith the Lorde God, The great egle with great wings, and long wings, and ful of fethers, which had diuers colours, came vnto Lebanon, & tooke the hiest branch of the cedar,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:3 Tu diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Un grand aigle, aux longues ailes, aux ailes déployées, couvert de plumes de toutes couleurs, vint sur le Liban, et enleva la cime d'un cèdre.(FR) 3 ׃17 וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הַנֶּ֤שֶׁר הַגָּדוֹל֙ גְּד֤וֹל הַכְּנָפַ֙יִם֙ אֶ֣רֶךְ הָאֵ֔בֶר מָלֵא֙ הַנּוֹצָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־ל֖וֹ הָֽרִקְמָ֑ה בָּ֚א אֶל־הַלְּבָנ֔וֹן וַיִּקַּ֖ח אֶת־צַמֶּ֥רֶת הָאָֽרֶז׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:3 saying, 'Thus says the Lord God, "A great eagle with great wings, long pinions and a full plumage of many colors came to Lebanon and took away the top of the cedar. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:4 ============ Eze 17:4 He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:4 And brake off the toppe of his twigge, and caried it into the land of marchants, and set it in a citie of marchants.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:4 Il arracha le plus élevé de ses rameaux, l'emporta dans un pays de commerce, et le déposa dans une ville de marchands.(FR) 4 ׃17 אֵ֛ת רֹ֥אשׁ יְנִֽיקוֹתָ֖יו קָטָ֑ף וַיְבִיאֵ֙הוּ֙ אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן בְּעִ֥יר רֹכְלִ֖ים שָׂמֽוֹ׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:4 He plucked off the topmost of its young twigs and brought it to a land of merchants; he set it in a city of traders. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:5 ============ Eze 17:5 He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:5 Hee tooke also of the seede of the lande, and planted it in a fruitfull ground: hee placed it by great waters, and set it as a willowe tree.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:5 Et il prit un rejeton du pays, et le plaça dans un sol fertile; il le mit près d'une eau abondante, et le planta comme un saule.(FR) 5 ׃17 וַיִּקַּח֙ מִזֶּ֣רַע הָאָ֔רֶץ וַֽיִתְּנֵ֖הוּ בִּשְׂדֵה־זָ֑רַע קָ֚ח עַל־מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֔ים צַפְצָפָ֖ה שָׂמֽוֹ׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:5 He also took some of the seed of the land and planted it in fertile soil. He placed it beside abundant waters; he set it like a willow. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:6 ============ Eze 17:6 And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:6 And it budded vp, and was like a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward it, and the rootes thereof were vnder it: so it became a vine, and it brought foorth branches, and shot foorth buds.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:6 Ce rejeton poussa, et devint un cep de vigne étendu, mais de peu d'élévation; ses rameaux étaient tournés vers l'aigle, et ses racines étaient sous lui; il devint un cep de vigne, donna des jets, et produisit des branches.(FR) 6 ׃17 וַיִּצְמַ֡ח וַיְהִי֩ לְגֶ֨פֶן סֹרַ֜חַת שִׁפְלַ֣ת קוֹמָ֗ה לִפְנ֤וֹת דָּלִיּוֹתָיו֙ אֵלָ֔יו וְשָׁרָשָׁ֖יו תַּחְתָּ֣יו יִֽהְי֑וּ וַתְּהִ֣י לְגֶ֔פֶן וַתַּ֣עַשׂ בַּדִּ֔ים וַתְּשַׁלַּ֖ח פֹּארֽוֹת׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:6 Then it sprouted and became a low, spreading vine with its branches turned toward him, but its roots remained under it. So it became a vine and yielded shoots and sent out branches. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:7 ============ Eze 17:7 There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:7 There was also another great egle with great wings and many feathers, and beholde, this vine did turne her rootes toward it, & spred foorth her branches toward it, that she might water it by the trenches of her plantation.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:7 Il y avait un autre aigle, grand, aux longues ailes, au plumage épais. Et voici, du parterre où elle était plantée, cette vigne étendit avec avidité ses racines de son côté et dirigea ses rameaux vers lui, afin qu'il l'arrosât.(FR) 7 ׃17 וַיְהִ֤י נֶֽשֶׁר־אֶחָד֙ גָּד֔וֹל גְּד֥וֹל כְּנָפַ֖יִם וְרַב־נוֹצָ֑ה וְהִנֵּה֩ הַגֶּ֨פֶן הַזֹּ֜את כָּֽפְנָ֧ה שָׁרֳשֶׁ֣יהָ עָלָ֗יו וְדָֽלִיּוֹתָיו֙ שִׁלְחָה־לּ֔וֹ לְהַשְׁק֣וֹת אוֹתָ֔הּ מֵעֲרֻג֖וֹת מַטָּעָֽהּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:7 "But there was another great eagle with great wings and much plumage; and behold, this vine bent its roots toward him and sent out its branches toward him from the beds where it was planted, that he might water it. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:8 ============ Eze 17:8 It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:8 It was planted in a good soyle by great waters, that it should bring forth branches, and beare fruite, and be an excellent vine.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:8 Elle était plantée dans un bon terrain, près d'une eau abondante, de manière à produire des branches et à porter du fruit, à devenir une vigne magnifique.(FR) 8 ׃17 אֶל־שָׂ֥דֶה טּ֛וֹב אֶל־מַ֥יִם רַבִּ֖ים הִ֣יא שְׁתוּלָ֑ה לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת עָנָף֙ וְלָשֵׂ֣את פֶּ֔רִי לִהְי֖וֹת לְגֶ֥פֶן אַדָּֽרֶת׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 17:8 It was planted in good soil beside abundant waters, that it might yield branches and bear fruit and become a splendid vine."'(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:9 ============ Eze 17:9 Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:9 Say thou, Thus saith the Lord God, Shall it prosper? shall he not pull vp the rootes thereof, and destroy the fruite thereof, and cause them to drie? all the leaues of her bud shall wither without great power, or many people, to plucke it vp by the rootes thereof.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:9 Dis: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Prospérera-t-elle? Le premier aigle n'arrachera-t-il pas ses racines, n'enlèvera-t-il pas son fruit, afin qu'elle se dessèche, afin que toutes les feuilles qu'elle a poussées se dessèchent? Et il ne faudra ni beaucoup de force ni un peuple nombreux pour la séparer de ses racines.(FR) 9 ׃17 אֱמֹ֗ר כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִ֖ה תִּצְלָ֑ח הֲלוֹא֩ אֶת־שָׁרָשֶׁ֨יהָ יְנַתֵּ֜ק וְאֶת־פִּרְיָ֣הּ ׀ יְקוֹסֵ֣ס וְיָבֵ֗שׁ כָּל־טַרְפֵּ֤י צִמְחָהּ֙ תִּיבָ֔שׁ וְלֹֽא־בִזְרֹ֤עַ גְּדוֹלָה֙ וּבְעַם־רָ֔ב לְמַשְׂא֥וֹת אוֹתָ֖הּ מִשָּׁרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:9 Say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Will it thrive? Will he not pull up its roots and cut off its fruit, so that it withers--so that all its sprouting leaves wither? And neither by great strength nor by many people can it be raised from its roots again. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:10 ============ Eze 17:10 Yea, behold, being planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:10 Beholde, it was planted: but shal it prosper? shall it not be dried vp, and wither? when the East winde shall touch it, it shall wither in the trenches, where it grewe.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:10 Voici, elle est plantée: prospérera-t-elle? Si le vent d'orient la touche, ne séchera-t-elle pas? Elle séchera sur le parterre où elle a poussé.(FR) 10 ׃17 וְהִנֵּ֥ה שְׁתוּלָ֖ה הֲתִצְלָ֑ח הֲלוֹא֩ כְגַ֨עַת בָּ֜הּ ר֤וּחַ הַקָּדִים֙ תִּיבַ֣שׁ יָבֹ֔שׁ עַל־עֲרֻגֹ֥ת צִמְחָ֖הּ תִּיבָֽשׁ׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 17:10 Behold, though it is planted, will it thrive? Will it not completely wither as soon as the east wind strikes it--wither on the beds where it grew?"'" (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:11 ============ Eze 17:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 17:11 Moreouer, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:11 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 11 ׃17 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:11 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:12 ============ Eze 17:12 Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;(KJV) Ezekiel 17:12 Say now to this rebellious house, Know ye not, what these things meane? tell them, Behold, the King of Babel is come to Ierusalem, and hath taken the King thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babel,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:12 Dis à la maison rebelle: Ne savez-vous pas ce que cela signifie? Dis: Voici, le roi de Babylone est allé à Jérusalem, il en a pris le roi et les chefs, et les a emmenés avec lui à Babylone.(FR) 12 ׃17 אֱמָר־נָא֙ לְבֵ֣ית הַמֶּ֔רִי הֲלֹ֥א יְדַעְתֶּ֖ם מָה־אֵ֑לֶּה אֱמֹ֗ר הִנֵּה־בָ֨א מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֤ל יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ וַיִּקַּ֤ח אֶת־מַלְכָּהּ֙ וְאֶת־שָׂרֶ֔יהָ וַיָּבֵ֥א אוֹתָ֛ם אֵלָ֖יו בָּבֶֽלָה׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:12 "Say now to the rebellious house, 'Do you not know what these things mean?' Say, 'Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, took its king and princes and brought them to him in Babylon. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:13 ============ Eze 17:13 And hath taken of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:(KJV) Ezekiel 17:13 And hath taken one of the Kings seede, and made a couenant with him, & hath taken an othe of him: he hath also taken the princes of the land,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:13 Il a choisi un membre de la race royale, a traité alliance avec lui, et lui a fait prêter serment, et il a emmené les grands du pays,(FR) 13 ׃17 וַיִּקַּח֙ מִזֶּ֣רַע הַמְּלוּכָ֔ה וַיִּכְרֹ֥ת אִתּ֖וֹ בְּרִ֑ית וַיָּבֵ֤א אֹתוֹ֙ בְּאָלָ֔ה וְאֶת־אֵילֵ֥י הָאָ֖רֶץ לָקָֽח׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:13 He took one of the royal family and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath. He also took away the mighty of the land, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:14 ============ Eze 17:14 That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:14 That the kingdome might be in subiection, and not lift it selfe vp, but keepe their couenant, and stand to it.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:14 afin que le royaume fût tenu dans l'abaissement, sans pouvoir s'élever, et qu'il gardât son alliance en y demeurant fidèle.(FR) 14 ׃17 לִֽהְיוֹת֙ מַמְלָכָ֣ה שְׁפָלָ֔ה לְבִלְתִּ֖י הִתְנַשֵּׂ֑א לִשְׁמֹ֥ר אֶת־בְּרִית֖וֹ לְעָמְדָֽהּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:14 that the kingdom might be in subjection, not exalting itself, but keeping his covenant that it might continue. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:15 ============ Eze 17:15 But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?(KJV) Ezekiel 17:15 But he rebelled against him, and sent his ambassadours into Egypt, that they might giue him horses, and much people: shall hee prosper? shall he escape, that doeth such things? or shal he breake the couenant, and be deliuered?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:15 Mais il s'est révolté contre lui, en envoyant ses messagers en Egypte, pour qu'elle lui donnât des chevaux et un grand nombre d'hommes. Celui qui a fait de telles choses réussira-t-il, échappera-t-il? Il a rompu l'alliance, et il échapperait!(FR) 15 ׃17 וַיִּמְרָד־בּ֗וֹ לִשְׁלֹ֤חַ מַלְאָכָיו֙ מִצְרַ֔יִם לָֽתֶת־ל֥וֹ סוּסִ֖ים וְעַם־רָ֑ב הֲיִצְלָ֤ח הֲיִמָּלֵט֙ הָעֹשֵׂ֣ה אֵ֔לֶּה וְהֵפֵ֥ר בְּרִ֖ית וְנִמְלָֽט׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:15 But he rebelled against him by sending his envoys to Egypt that they might give him horses and many troops. Will he succeed? Will he who does such things escape? Can he indeed break the covenant and escape? (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:16 ============ Eze 17:16 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:16 As I liue, saith the Lord God, he shall die in the middes of Babel, in the place of the King, that had made him King, whose othe he despised, and whose couenant made with him, he brake.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:16 Je suis vivant! dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, c'est dans le pays du roi qui l'a fait régner, envers qui il a violé son serment et dont il a rompu l'alliance, c'est près de lui, au milieu de Babylone, qu'il mourra.(FR) 16 ׃17 חַי־אָ֗נִי נְאֻם֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ אִם־לֹ֗א בִּמְקוֹם֙ הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ הַמַּמְלִ֣יךְ אֹת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֤ר בָּזָה֙ אֶת־אָ֣לָת֔וֹ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵפֵ֖ר אֶת־בְּרִית֑וֹ אִתּ֥וֹ בְתוֹךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל יָמֽוּת׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:16 As I live,' declares the Lord God, 'Surely in the country of the king who put him on the throne, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke, in Babylon he shall die. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:17 ============ Eze 17:17 Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:(KJV) Ezekiel 17:17 Neither shall Pharaoh with his mightie hoste, and great multitude of people, mainteine him in the warre, when they haue cast vp mounts, and builded ramparts to destroy many persons.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:17 Pharaon n'ira pas avec une grande armée et un peuple nombreux le secourir pendant la guerre, lorsqu'on élèvera des terrasses et qu'on fera des retranchements pour exterminer une multitude d'âmes.(FR) 17 ׃17 וְלֹא֩ בְחַ֨יִל גָּד֜וֹל וּבְקָהָ֣ל רָ֗ב יַעֲשֶׂ֨ה אוֹת֤וֹ פַרְעֹה֙ בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה בִּשְׁפֹּ֥ךְ סֹלְלָ֖ה וּבִבְנ֣וֹת דָּיֵ֑ק לְהַכְרִ֖ית נְפָשׁ֥וֹת רַבּֽוֹת׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:17 Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company will not help him in the war, when they cast up ramps and build siege walls to cut off many lives. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:18 ============ Eze 17:18 Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:18 For he hath despised the othe, and broken ye couenant (yet lo, he had giuen his hand) because he hath done all these things, he shall not escape.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:18 Il a méprisé le serment, il a rompu l'alliance; il avait donné sa main, et il a fait tout cela; il n'échappera pas!(FR) 18 ׃17 וּבָזָ֥ה אָלָ֖ה לְהָפֵ֣ר בְּרִ֑ית וְהִנֵּ֨ה נָתַ֥ן יָד֛וֹ וְכָל־אֵ֥לֶּה עָשָׂ֖ה לֹ֥א יִמָּלֵֽט׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 17:18 Now he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, and behold, he pledged his allegiance, yet did all these things; he shall not escape.'"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:19 ============ Eze 17:19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:19 Therefore, thus sayth the Lord God, As I liue, I wil surely bring mine othe that he hath despised, and my couenant that he hath broken vpon his owne head.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:19 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Je suis vivant! c'est le serment fait en mon nom qu'il a méprisé, c'est mon alliance qu'il a rompue. Je ferai retomber cela sur sa tête.(FR) 19 ׃17 לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה־אָמַ֨ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֮ חַי־אָנִי֒ אִם־לֹ֗א אָֽלָתִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּזָ֔ה וּבְרִיתִ֖י אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֵפִ֑יר וּנְתַתִּ֖יו בְּרֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:19 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "As I live, surely My oath which he despised and My covenant which he broke, I will inflict on his head. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:20 ============ Eze 17:20 And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:20 And I wil spread my net vpon him, & he shalbe taken in my net, & I wil bring him to Babel, and will enter into iudgement with him there for his trespas that he hath committed against me.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:20 J'étendrai mon rets sur lui, et il sera pris dans mon filet; je l'emmènerai à Babylone, et là je plaiderai avec lui sur sa perfidie à mon égard.(FR) 20 ׃17 וּפָרַשְׂתִּ֤י עָלָיו֙ רִשְׁתִּ֔י וְנִתְפַּ֖שׂ בִּמְצֽוּדָתִ֑י וַהֲבִיאוֹתִ֣יהוּ בָבֶ֗לָה וְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּ֤י אִתּוֹ֙ שָׁ֔ם מַעֲל֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר מָֽעַל־בִּֽי׃ Ezekiel Eze 17:20 I will spread My net over him, and he will be caught in My snare. Then I will bring him to Babylon and enter into judgment with him there regarding the unfaithful act which he has committed against Me. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 17:21 ============ Eze 17:21 And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it.(KJV) Ezekiel 17:21 And all that flee from him with all his hoste, shal fall by the sword, & they that remaine, shalbe scattered towarde all the windes: and ye shall know that I the Lord haue spoken it.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 17:21 Tous les fuyards de toutes ses troupes tomberont par l'épée, et ceux qui resteront seront dispersés à tous les vents. Moi, l'Eternel, j'ai parlé, et j'agirai.(FR) 24 ׃17 וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כָּל־עֲצֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲנִ֤י יְהוָה֙ הִשְׁפַּ֣לְתִּי ׀ עֵ֣ץ גָּבֹ֗הַ הִגְבַּ֙הְתִּי֙ עֵ֣ץ שָׁפָ֔ל הוֹבַ֙שְׁתִּי֙ עֵ֣ץ לָ֔ח וְהִפְרַ֖חְתִּי עֵ֣ץ יָבֵ֑שׁ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי וְעָשִֽׂיתִי׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 17:24 All the trees of the field will know that I am the Lord; I bring down the high tree, exalt the low tree, dry up the green tree and make the dry tree flourish.
