A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.(KJV) Ezekiel 19:2 And say, Wherefore lay thy mother as a lyonesse among the lyons? she nourished her yong ones among the lyons whelps,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:2 et dis: Ta mère, qu'était-ce? Une lionne. Elle était couchée parmi les lions; C'est au milieu des lionceaux Qu'elle a élevé ses petits.(FR) 2 ׃19 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ מָ֤ה אִמְּךָ֙ לְבִיָּ֔א בֵּ֥ין אֲרָי֖וֹת רָבָ֑צָה בְּת֥וֹךְ כְּפִרִ֖ים רִבְּתָ֥ה גוּרֶֽיהָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 19:2 and say, 'What was your mother? A lioness among lions! She lay down among young lions, She reared her cubs. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 19:7 ============ Eze 19:7 And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fulness thereof, by the noise of his roaring.(KJV) Ezekiel 19:7 And he knew their widowes, & he destroyed their cities, and the land was wasted, and all that was therein by the noyse of his roaring.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:7 Il força leurs palais, Et détruisit leurs villes; Le pays, tout ce qui s'y trouvait, fut ravagé, Au bruit de ses rugissements.(FR) 7 ׃19 וַיֵּ֙דַע֙ אַלְמְנוֹתָ֔יו וְעָרֵיהֶ֖ם הֶחֱרִ֑יב וַתֵּ֤שַׁם אֶ֙רֶץ֙ וּמְלֹאָ֔הּ מִקּ֖וֹל שַׁאֲגָתֽוֹ׃ Ezekiel Eze 19:7 'He destroyed their fortified towers And laid waste their cities; And the land and its fullness were appalled Because of the sound of his roaring. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 19:8 ============ Eze 19:8 Then the nations set against him on every side from the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit.(KJV) Ezekiel 19:8 Then the nations set against him on euery side of the countreys, and laide their nets for him: so he was taken in their pit.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:8 Contre lui se rangèrent les nations D'alentour, des provinces; Elles tendirent sur lui leur rets, Et il fut pris dans leur fosse.(FR) 8 ׃19 וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ עָלָ֥יו גּוֹיִ֛ם סָבִ֖יב מִמְּדִינ֑וֹת וַֽיִּפְרְשׂ֥וּ עָלָ֛יו רִשְׁתָּ֖ם בְּשַׁחְתָּ֥ם נִתְפָּֽשׂ׃ Ezekiel Eze 19:8 'Then nations set against him On every side from their provinces, And they spread their net over him; He was captured in their pit. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 19:9 ============ Eze 19:9 And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.(KJV) Ezekiel 19:9 And they put him in prison and in chaines, and brought him to the King of Babel, and they put him in holdes, that his voyce should no more be heard vpon the mountaines of Israel.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:9 Elles mirent une boucle à ses narines, le placèrent dans une cage, Et l'emmenèrent auprès du roi de Babylone; Puis elles le conduisirent dans une forteresse, Afin qu'on n'entende plus sa voix sur les montagnes d'Israël.(FR) 9 ׃19 וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֤הוּ בַסּוּגַר֙ בַּֽחַחִ֔ים וַיְבִאֻ֖הוּ אֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֑ל יְבִאֻ֙הוּ֙ בַּמְּצֹד֔וֹת לְמַ֗עַן לֹא־יִשָּׁמַ֥ע קוֹל֛וֹ ע֖וֹד אֶל־הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 19:9 'They put him in a cage with hooks And brought him to the king of Babylon; They brought him in hunting nets So that his voice would be heard no more On the mountains of Israel. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 19:10 ============ Eze 19:10 Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.(KJV) Ezekiel 19:10 Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she brought foorth fruite and branches by the abundant waters,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:10 Ta mère était, comme toi, semblable à une vigne, Plantée près des eaux. Elle était féconde et chargée de branches, A cause de l'abondance des eaux.(FR) 10 ׃19 אִמְּךָ֥ כַגֶּ֛פֶן בְּדָמְךָ֖ עַל־מַ֣יִם שְׁתוּלָ֑ה פֹּֽרִיָּה֙ וַֽעֲנֵפָ֔ה הָיְתָ֖ה מִמַּ֥יִם רַבִּֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 19:10 'Your mother was like a vine in your vineyard, Planted by the waters; It was fruitful and full of branches Because of abundant waters. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 19:11 ============ Eze 19:11 And she had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.(KJV) Ezekiel 19:11 And she had strong rods for the scepters of them that beare rule, and her stature was exalted among the branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:11 Elle avait de vigoureux rameaux pour des sceptres de souverains; Par son élévation elle dominait les branches touffues; Elle attirait les regards par sa hauteur, Et par la multitude de ses rameaux.(FR) 11 ׃19 וַיִּֽהְיוּ־לָ֞הּ מַטּ֣וֹת עֹ֗ז אֶל־שִׁבְטֵי֙ מֹֽשְׁלִ֔ים וַתִּגְבַּ֥הּ קֽוֹמָת֖וֹ עַל־בֵּ֣ין עֲבֹתִ֑ים וַיֵּרָ֣א בְגָבְה֔וֹ בְּרֹ֖ב דָּלִיֹּתָֽיו׃ Ezekiel Eze 19:11 'And it had strong branches fit for scepters of rulers, And its height was raised above the clouds So that it was seen in its height with the mass of its branches. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 19:12 ============ Eze 19:12 But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them.(KJV) Ezekiel 19:12 But she was plucked vp in wrath: she was cast downe to the ground, & the East winde dried vp her fruite: her branches were broken, & withered: as for the rod of her strength, the fire consumed it.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:12 Mais elle a été arrachée avec fureur et jetée par terre; Le vent d'orient a desséché son fruit; Ses rameaux vigoureux ont été rompus et desséchés; Le feu les a dévorés.(FR) 12 ׃19 וַתֻּתַּ֤שׁ בְּחֵמָה֙ לָאָ֣רֶץ הֻשְׁלָ֔כָה וְר֥וּחַ הַקָּדִ֖ים הוֹבִ֣ישׁ פִּרְיָ֑הּ הִתְפָּרְק֧וּ וְיָבֵ֛שׁוּ מַטֵּ֥ה עֻזָּ֖הּ אֵ֥שׁ אֲכָלָֽתְהוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 19:12 'But it was plucked up in fury; It was cast down to the ground; And the east wind dried up its fruit. Its strong branch was torn off So that it withered; The fire consumed it. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 19:13 ============ Eze 19:13 And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground.(KJV) Ezekiel 19:13 And now she is planted in the wildernes in a drie and thirstie ground.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:13 Et maintenant elle est plantée dans le désert, Dans une terre sèche et aride.(FR) 13 ׃19 וְעַתָּ֖ה שְׁתוּלָ֣ה בַמִּדְבָּ֑ר בְּאֶ֖רֶץ צִיָּ֥ה וְצָמָֽא׃ Ezekiel Eze 19:13 'And now it is planted in the wilderness, In a dry and thirsty land. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 19:14 ============ Eze 19:14 And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.(kjv) Ezekiel 19:14 And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath deuoured her fruite, so that she hath no strong rod to be a scepter to rule: this is a lamentation and shalbe for a lamentation.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 19:14 Le feu est sorti de ses branches, Et a dévoré son fruit; Elle n'a plus de rameau vigoureux Pour un sceptre de souverain. C'est là une complainte, et cela servira de complainte.(FR) 14 ׃19 וַתֵּצֵ֨א אֵ֜שׁ מִמַּטֵּ֤ה בַדֶּ֙יהָ֙ פִּרְיָ֣הּ אָכָ֔לָה וְלֹא־הָ֥יָה בָ֛הּ מַטֵּה־עֹ֖ז שֵׁ֣בֶט לִמְשׁ֑וֹל קִ֥ינָה הִ֖יא וַתְּהִ֥י לְקִינָֽה׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 19:14 'And fire has gone out from its branch; It has consumed its shoots and fruit, So that there is not in it a strong branch, A scepter to rule.'" This is a lamentation, and has become a lamentation. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 20:1 ============ Eze 20:1 And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me.(KJV) Ezekiel 20:1 And in the seuenth yeere, in the fift moneth, the tenth day of the moneth, came certaine of the elders of Israel to enquire of the Lord, and sate before me.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 20:1 La septième année, le dixième jour du cinquième mois, quelques-uns des anciens d'Israël vinrent pour consulter l'Eternel, et s'assirent devant moi.(FR) |
