Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 15:1 ============ Eze 15:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 15:1 And ye word of ye Lord came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 15:1 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃15 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 15:1 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 15:2 ============ Eze 15:2 Son of man, what is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?(KJV) Ezekiel 15:2 Sonne of man, what commeth of the vine tree aboue all other trees? and of the vine braunch, which is among the trees of ye forest?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 15:2 Fils de l'homme, le bois de la vigne, qu'a-t-il de plus que tout autre bois, Le sarment qui est parmi les arbres de la forêt?(FR) 2 ׃15 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם מַה־יִּֽהְיֶ֥ה עֵץ־הַגֶּ֖פֶן מִכָּל־עֵ֑ץ הַזְּמוֹרָ֕ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָיָ֖ה בַּעֲצֵ֥י הַיָּֽעַר׃ Ezekiel Eze 15:2 "Son of man, how is the wood of the vine better than any wood of a branch which is among the trees of the forest? (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 15:3 ============ Eze 15:3 Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?(KJV) Ezekiel 15:3 Shall wood bee taken thereof to doe any worke? or wil men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 15:3 Prend-on de ce bois pour fabriquer un ouvrage? En tire-t-on une cheville pour y suspendre un objet quelconque?(FR) 3 ׃15 הֲיֻקַּ֤ח מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ עֵ֔ץ לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת לִמְלָאכָ֑ה אִם־יִקְח֤וּ מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ יָתֵ֔ד לִתְל֥וֹת עָלָ֖יו כָּל־כֶּֽלִי׃ Ezekiel Eze 15:3 Can wood be taken from it to make anything, or can men take a peg from it on which to hang any vessel? (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 15:4 ============ Eze 15:4 Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?(KJV) Ezekiel 15:4 Behold, it is cast in the fire to be consumed: the fire consumeth both the endes of it, and the middes of it is burnt. Is it meete for any worke?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 15:4 Voici, on le met au feu pour le consumer; Le feu en consume les deux bouts, et le milieu brûle: Sera-t-il bon à quelque chose?(FR) 4 ׃15 הִנֵּ֥ה לָאֵ֖שׁ נִתַּ֣ן לְאָכְלָ֑ה אֵת֩ שְׁנֵ֨י קְצוֹתָ֜יו אָכְלָ֤ה הָאֵשׁ֙ וְתוֹכ֣וֹ נָחָ֔ר הֲיִצְלַ֖ח לִמְלָאכָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 15:4 If it has been put into the fire for fuel, and the fire has consumed both of its ends and its middle part has been charred, is it then useful for anything? (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 15:5 ============ Eze 15:5 Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?(KJV) Ezekiel 15:5 Behold, when it was whole, it was meete for no worke: how much lesse shall it bee meete for any worke, when the fire hath consumed it, and it is burnt?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 15:5 Voici, lorsqu'il était entier, on n'en faisait aucun ouvrage; Combien moins, lorsque le feu l'a consumé et qu'il est brûlé, En pourra-t-on faire quelque ouvrage?(FR) 5 ׃15 הִנֵּה֙ בִּֽהְיוֹת֣וֹ תָמִ֔ים לֹ֥א יֵֽעָשֶׂ֖ה לִמְלָאכָ֑ה אַ֣ף כִּי־אֵ֤שׁ אֲכָלַ֙תְהוּ֙ וַיֵּחָ֔ר וְנַעֲשָׂ֥ה ע֖וֹד לִמְלָאכָֽה׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 15:5 Behold, while it is intact, it is not made into anything. How much less, when the fire has consumed it and it is charred, can it still be made into anything! (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 15:6 ============ Eze 15:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.(KJV) Ezekiel 15:6 Therefore thus sayth the Lorde God, As the vine tree, that is among the trees of the forest, which I haue giuen to the fire to be consumed, so will I giue the inhabitants of Ierusalem.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 15:6 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Comme le bois de la vigne parmi les arbres de la forêt, Ce bois que je livre au feu pour le consumer, Ainsi je livrerai les habitants de Jérusalem.(FR) 6 ׃15 לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עֵץ־הַגֶּ֙פֶן֙ בְּעֵ֣ץ הַיַּ֔עַר אֲשֶׁר־נְתַתִּ֥יו לָאֵ֖שׁ לְאָכְלָ֑ה כֵּ֣ן נָתַ֔תִּי אֶת־יֹשְׁבֵ֖י יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Ezekiel Eze 15:6 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, 'As the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so have I given up the inhabitants of Jerusalem; (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 15:7 ============ Eze 15:7 And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them.(KJV) Ezekiel 15:7 And I will set my face against them: they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall consume them: and ye shall know, that I am the Lord, when I set my face against them,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 15:7 Je tournerai ma face contre eux; Ils sont sortis du feu, et le feu les consumera. Et vous saurez que je suis l'Eternel, Quand je tournerai ma face contre eux.(FR) 7 ׃15 וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־פָּנַי֙ בָּהֶ֔ם מֵהָאֵ֣שׁ יָצָ֔אוּ וְהָאֵ֖שׁ תֹּֽאכְלֵ֑ם וִֽידַעְתֶּם֙ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה בְּשׂוּמִ֥י אֶת־פָּנַ֖י בָּהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 15:7 and I set My face against them. Though they have come out of the fire, yet the fire will consume them. Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I set My face against them. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 15:8 ============ Eze 15:8 And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.(kjv) Ezekiel 15:8 And when I make the lande waste, because they haue greatly offended, saith the Lord God.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 15:8 Je ferai du pays un désert, Parce qu'ils ont été infidèles, Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(FR) 8 ׃15 וְנָתַתִּ֥י אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ שְׁמָמָ֑ה יַ֚עַן מָ֣עֲלוּ מַ֔עַל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 15:8 Thus I will make the land desolate, because they have acted unfaithfully, '" declares the Lord God.
