Voici, c'était une corbeille de fruits.(FR) 1 ׃8 כֹּ֥ה הִרְאַ֖נִי אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה וְהִנֵּ֖ה כְּל֥וּב קָֽיִץ׃ Amos Amo 8:1 Thus the Lord God showed me, and behold, there was a basket of summer fruit. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:2 ============ Amo 8:2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.(KJV) Amos 8:2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I sayd, A basket of sommer fruite. Et l'Eternel me dit: La fin est venue pour mon peuple d'Israël; Je ne lui pardonnerai plus.(FR) 2 ׃8 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר מָֽה־אַתָּ֤ה רֹאֶה֙ עָמ֔וֹס וָאֹמַ֖ר כְּל֣וּב קָ֑יִץ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י בָּ֤א הַקֵּץ֙ אֶל־עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לֹא־אוֹסִ֥יף ע֖וֹד עֲב֥וֹר לֽוֹ׃ Amos Amo 8:2 He said, "What do you see, Amos?" And I said, "A basket of summer fruit." Then the Lord said to me, "The end has come for My people Israel. I will spare them no longer. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:3 ============ Amo 8:3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.(KJV) Amos 8:3 And the songs of the Temple shalbe howlings in that day, saith the Lord God: many dead bodies shalbe in euery place: they shall cast them forth with silence.(Geneva) Amos 8:3 En ce jour-là, les chants du palais seront des gémissements, Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel; On jettera partout en silence une multitude de cadavres.(FR) 3 ׃8 וְהֵילִ֜ילוּ שִׁיר֤וֹת הֵיכָל֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה רַ֣ב הַפֶּ֔גֶר בְּכָל־מָק֖וֹם הִשְׁלִ֥יךְ הָֽס׃ פ Amos Amo 8:3 The songs of the palace will turn to wailing in that day," declares the Lord God. "Many will be the corpses; in every place they will cast them forth in silence."(nasb) ======= Amos 8:4 ============ Amo 8:4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,(KJV) Amos 8:4 Heare this, O yee that swallowe vp the poore, that ye may make the needie of the lande to fayle,(Geneva) Amos 8:4 Ecoutez ceci, vous qui dévorez l'indigent, Et qui ruinez les malheureux du pays!(FR) 4 ׃8 שִׁמְעוּ־זֹ֕את הַשֹּׁאֲפִ֖ים אֶבְי֑וֹן וְלַשְׁבִּ֖ית *ענוי־**עֲנִיֵּי־אָֽרֶץ׃ Amos Amo 8:4 Hear this, you who trample the needy, to do away with the humble of the land, (nasb) ======= Amos 8:5 ============ Amo 8:5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?(KJV) Amos 8:5 Saying, When will the newe moneth bee gone, that we may sell corne? and the Sabbath, that we may set forth wheate, and make the Ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifie the weights by deceit?(Geneva) Amos 8:5 Vous dites: Quand la nouvelle lune sera-t-elle passée, Afin que nous vendions du blé? Quand finira le sabbat, afin que nous ouvrions les greniers? Nous diminuerons l'épha, nous augmenterons le prix, Nous falsifierons les balances pour tromper;(FR) 5 ׃8 לֵאמֹ֗ר מָתַ֞י יַעֲבֹ֤ר הַחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ וְנַשְׁבִּ֣ירָה שֶּׁ֔בֶר וְהַשַּׁבָּ֖ת וְנִפְתְּחָה־בָּ֑ר לְהַקְטִ֤ין אֵיפָה֙ וּלְהַגְדִּ֣יל שֶׁ֔קֶל וּלְעַוֵּ֖ת מֹאזְנֵ֥י מִרְמָֽה׃ Amos Amo 8:5 saying, "When will the new moon be over, So that we may sell grain, And the sabbath, that we may open the wheat market, To make the bushel smaller and the shekel bigger, And to cheat with dishonest scales, (nasb) ======= Amos 8:6 ============ Amo 8:6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?(KJV) Amos 8:6 That we may buy the poore for siluer, and the needie for shooes: yea, and sell the refuse of the wheate.(Geneva) Amos 8:6 Puis nous achèterons les misérables pour de l'argent, Et le pauvre pour une paire de souliers, Et nous vendrons la criblure du froment.(FR) 6 ׃8 לִקְנ֤וֹת בַּכֶּ֙סֶף֙ דַּלִּ֔ים וְאֶבְי֖וֹן בַּעֲב֣וּר נַעֲלָ֑יִם וּמַפַּ֥ל בַּ֖ר נַשְׁבִּֽיר׃ Amos Amo 8:6 So as to buy the helpless for money And the needy for a pair of sandals, And that we may sell the refuse of the wheat?"(nasb) ======= Amos 8:7 ============ Amo 8:7 The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.(KJV) Amos 8:7 The Lorde hath sworne by the excellencie of Iaakob, Surely I will neuer forget any of their workes.(Geneva) Amos 8:7 L'Eternel l'a juré par la gloire de Jacob: Je n'oublierai jamais aucune de leurs oeuvres.(FR) 7 ׃8 נִשְׁבַּ֥ע יְהוָ֖ה בִּגְא֣וֹן יַעֲקֹ֑ב אִם־אֶשְׁכַּ֥ח לָנֶ֖צַח כָּל־מַעֲשֵׂיהֶֽם׃ Amos Amo 8:7 The Lord has sworn by the pride of Jacob, "Indeed, I will never forget any of their deeds. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:8 ============ Amo 8:8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.(KJV) Amos 8:8 Shall not the lande tremble for this, and euery one mourne, that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise vp wholy as a flood, and it shall bee cast out, and drowned as by the flood of Egypt.(Geneva) Amos 8:8 Le pays, à cause d'elles, ne sera-t-il pas ébranlé, Et tous ses habitants ne seront-ils pas dans le deuil? Le pays montera tout entier comme le fleuve, Il se soulèvera et s'affaissera comme le fleuve d'Egypte.(FR) 8 ׃8 הַ֤עַל זֹאת֙ לֹֽא־תִרְגַּ֣ז הָאָ֔רֶץ וְאָבַ֖ל כָּל־יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בָּ֑הּ וְעָלְתָ֤ה כָאֹר֙ כֻּלָּ֔הּ וְנִגְרְשָׁ֥ה *ונשקה **וְנִשְׁקְעָ֖ה כִּיא֥וֹר מִצְרָֽיִם׃ ס Amos Amo 8:8 "Because of this will not the land quake And everyone who dwells in it mourn? Indeed, all of it will rise up like the Nile, And it will be tossed about And subside like the Nile of Egypt. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:9 ============ Amo 8:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:(KJV) Amos 8:9 And in that day, saith the Lorde God, I will euen cause the sunne to go downe at noone: and I will darken the earth in the cleare day.(Geneva) Amos 8:9 En ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, Je ferai coucher le soleil à midi, Et j'obscurcirai la terre en plein jour;(FR) 9 ׃8 וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא נְאֻם֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה וְהֵבֵאתִ֥י הַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁ בַּֽצָּהֳרָ֑יִם וְהַחֲשַׁכְתִּ֥י לָאָ֖רֶץ בְּי֥וֹם אֽוֹר׃ Amos Amo 8:9 "It will come about in that day," declares the Lord God, "That I will make the sun go down at noon And make the earth dark in broad daylight. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:10 ============ Amo 8:10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.(KJV) Amos 8:10 And I will turne your feastes into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation: and I will bring sackcloth vpon all loynes, and baldnes vpon euery head: and I will make it as the mourning of an onely sonne, and the ende thereof as a bitter day.(Geneva) Amos 8:10 Je changerai vos fêtes en deuil, Et tous vos chants en lamentations, Je couvrirai de sacs tous les reins, Et je rendrai chauves toutes les têtes; Je mettrai le pays dans le deuil comme pour un fils unique, Et sa fin sera comme un jour d'amertume.(FR) 10 ׃8 וְהָפַכְתִּ֨י חַגֵּיכֶ֜ם לְאֵ֗בֶל וְכָל־שִֽׁירֵיכֶם֙ לְקִינָ֔ה וְהַעֲלֵיתִ֤י עַל־כָּל־מָתְנַ֙יִם֙ שָׂ֔ק וְעַל־כָּל־רֹ֖אשׁ קָרְחָ֑ה וְשַׂמְתִּ֙יהָ֙ כְּאֵ֣בֶל יָחִ֔יד וְאַחֲרִיתָ֖הּ כְּי֥וֹם מָֽר׃ Amos Amo 8:10 "Then I will turn your festivals into mourning And all your songs into lamentation; And I will bring sackcloth on everyone's loins And baldness on every head. And I will make it like a time of mourning for an only son, And the end of it will be like a bitter day. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:11 ============ Amo 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:(KJV) Amos 8:11 Beholde, the dayes come, sayeth the Lorde God, that I will send a famine in the lande, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the word of the Lord.(Geneva) Amos 8:11 Voici, les jours viennent, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, Où j'enverrai la famine dans le pays, Non pas la disette du pain et la soif de l'eau, Mais la faim et la soif d'entendre les paroles de l'Eternel.(FR) 11 ׃8 הִנֵּ֣ה ׀ יָמִ֣ים בָּאִ֗ים נְאֻם֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה וְהִשְׁלַחְתִּ֥י רָעָ֖ב בָּאָ֑רֶץ לֹֽא־רָעָ֤ב לַלֶּ֙חֶם֙ וְלֹֽא־צָמָ֣א לַמַּ֔יִם כִּ֣י אִם־לִשְׁמֹ֔עַ אֵ֖ת דִּבְרֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Amos Amo 8:11 "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord God, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the Lord. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:12 ============ Amo 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.(KJV) Amos 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the North euen vnto the East shal they run to and fro to seeke the worde of the Lord, and shall not finde it.(Geneva) Amos 8:12 Ils seront alors errants d'une mer à l'autre, Du septentrion à l'orient, Ils iront çà et là pour chercher la parole de l'Eternel, Et ils ne la trouveront pas.(FR) 12 ׃8 וְנָעוּ֙ מִיָּ֣ם עַד־יָ֔ם וּמִצָּפ֖וֹן וְעַד־מִזְרָ֑ח יְשֽׁוֹטְט֛וּ לְבַקֵּ֥שׁ אֶת־דְּבַר־יְהוָ֖ה וְלֹ֥א יִמְצָֽאוּ׃ Amos Amo 8:12 "People will stagger from sea to sea And from the north even to the east; They will go to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, But they will not find it. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:13 ============ Amo 8:13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.(KJV) Amos 8:13 In that day shall the faire virgines and the yong men perish for thirst.(Geneva) Amos 8:13 En ce jour, les belles jeunes filles et les jeunes hommes mourront de soif.(FR) 13 ׃8 בַּיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא תִּ֠תְעַלַּפְנָה הַבְּתוּלֹ֧ת הַיָּפ֛וֹת וְהַבַּחוּרִ֖ים בַּצָּמָֽא׃ Amos Amo 8:13 "In that day the beautiful virgins And the young men will faint from thirst. (nasb) ======= Amos 8:14 ============ Amo 8:14 They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.(kjv) Amos 8:14 They that sweare by the sinne of Samaria, and that say, Thy God, O Dan, liueth, and the maner of Beer-sheba liueth, euen they shall fall, and neuer rise vp againe.(Geneva) Amos 8:14 Ils jurent par le péché de Samarie, Et ils disent: Vive ton Dieu, Dan! Vive la voie de Beer-Schéba! (nasb) ======= Amos 9:1 ============ Amo 9:1 I saw the LORD standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.(KJV) Amos 9:1 I sawe the Lorde standing vpon the altar, and he sayde, Smite the lintel of the doore, that the postes may shake: and cut them in pieces, euen the heads of them all, and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them, shall not flee away: and he that escapeth of them, shall not be deliuered.(Geneva) Amos 9:1 Je vis le Seigneur qui se tenait sur l'autel.
