Let him who reproves God answer it."(nasb) Job 40:2 [Numquid qui contendit cum Deo, tam facile conquiescit? utique qui arguit Deum, debet respondere ei.](vulgate) Job 40:2 ¿Es sabiduría contender con el Omnipotente? El que disputa con Dios, responda a esto.(E) Job 40:2 Celui qui dispute contre le Tout-Puissant est-il convaincu? I lay my hand on my mouth.(nasb) Job 40:4 [Qui leviter locutus sum, respondere quid possum? manum meam ponam super os meum.(vulgate) Job 40:4 He aquí que yo soy vil, ¿qué te responderé? Mi mano pongo sobre mi boca.(E) Job 40:4 Voici, je suis trop peu de chose; que te répliquerais-je? Je mets la main sur ma bouche.(F) Job 40:4 Siehe, ich bin zu leichtfertig gewesen; was soll ich verantworten? Ich will meine Hand auf meinen Mund legen.(D) Job 40:4 τί ἔτι ἐγὼ κρίνομαι νουθετούμενος καὶ ἐλέγχων κύριον ἀκούων τοιαῦτα οὐθὲν ὤν ἐγὼ δὲ τίνα ἀπόκρισιν δῶ πρὸς ταῦτα χεῖρα θήσω ἐπὶ στόματί μου(lxx) Job 40:4 "Behold, I am vile; What shall I answer You? I lay my hand over my mouth.(nkjv) ======= Job 40:5 ============ Job 40:5 "Once I have spoken, and I will not answer; Even twice, and I will add nothing more."(nasb) Job 40:5 Unum locutus sum, quod utinam non dixissem: et alterum, quibus ultra non addam.](vulgate) Job 40:5 Una vez hablé, mas no responderé: Aun dos veces, pero no añadiré más.(E) Job 40:5 J'ai parlé une fois, je ne répondrai plus; Deux fois, je n'ajouterai rien.(F) Job 40:5 Ich habe einmal geredet, und will nicht antworten; zum andernmal will ich's nicht mehr tun.(D) Job 40:5 ἅπαξ λελάληκα ἐπὶ δὲ τῷ δευτέρῳ οὐ προσθήσω(lxx) Job 40:5 Once I have spoken, but I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further."(nkjv) ======= Job 40:6 ============ Job 40:6 Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm and said,(nasb) Job 40:6 Respondens autem Dominus Job de turbine, dixit:(vulgate) Job 40:6 Entonces respondió Jehová a Job desde el torbellino, y dijo:(E) Job 40:6 L'Eternel répondit à Job du milieu de la tempête et dit:(F) Job 40:6 Und der HERR antwortete Hiob aus dem Wetter und sprach:(D) Job 40:6 ἔτι δὲ ὑπολαβὼν ὁ κύριος εἶπεν τῷ Ιωβ ἐκ τοῦ νέφους(lxx) Job 40:6 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:(nkjv) ======= Job 40:7 ============ Job 40:7 "Now gird up your loins like a man; I will ask you, and you instruct Me.(nasb) Job 40:7 [Accinge sicut vir lumbos tuos: interrogabo te, et indica mihi.(vulgate) Job 40:7 Cíñete ahora como varón tus lomos; Yo te preguntaré, y tú me lo declararás.(E) Job 40:7 Ceins tes reins comme un vaillant homme; Je t'interrogerai, et tu m'instruiras.(F) Job 40:7 Gürte wie ein Mann deine Lenden; ich will dich fragen, lehre mich!(D) Job 40:7 μή ἀλλὰ ζῶσαι ὥσπερ ἀνὴρ τὴν ὀσφύν σου ἐρωτήσω δέ σε σὺ δέ μοι ἀποκρίθητι(lxx) Job 40:7 "Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me:(nkjv) ======= Job 40:8 ============ Job 40:8 "Will you really annul My judgment? Will you condemn Me that you may be justified?(nasb) Job 40:8 Numquid irritum facies judicium meum, et condemnabis me, ut tu justificeris?(vulgate) Job 40:8 ¿Invalidarás tú también mi juicio? ¿Me condenarás a mí, para justificarte tú?(E) Job 40:8 Anéantiras-tu jusqu'à ma justice? Me condamneras-tu pour te donner droit?(F) Job 40:8 Solltest du mein Urteil zunichte machen und mich verdammen, daß du gerecht seist?(D) Job 40:8 μὴ ἀποποιοῦ μου τὸ κρίμα οἴει δέ με ἄλλως σοι κεχρηματικέναι ἢ ἵνα ἀναφανῇς δίκαιος(lxx) Job 40:8 "Would you indeed annul My judgment? Would you condemn Me that you may be justified?(nkjv) ======= Job 40:9 ============ Job 40:9 "Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?(nasb) Job 40:9 Et si habes brachium sicut Deus? et si voce simili tonas?(vulgate) Job 40:9 ¿Tienes tú un brazo como Dios? ¿Y tronarás tú con voz como Él?(E) Job 40:9 As-tu un bras comme celui de Dieu, Une voix tonnante comme la sienne?(F) Job 40:9 Hast du einen Arm wie Gott, und kannst mit gleicher Stimme donnern, wie er tut?(D) Job 40:9 ἦ βραχίων σοί ἐστιν κατὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἢ φωνῇ κατ᾽ αὐτὸν βροντᾷς(lxx) Job 40:9 Have you an arm like God? Il mange de l'herbe comme le boeuf.(F) Job 40:15 Siehe da, den Behemoth, den ich neben dir gemacht habe; er frißt Gras wie ein Ochse.(D) Job 40:15 ἀλλὰ δὴ ἰδοὺ θηρία παρὰ σοί χόρτον ἴσα βουσὶν ἐσθίει(lxx) Job 40:15 "Look now at the behemoth, which I made along with you; He eats grass like an ox.(nkjv) ======= Job 40:16 ============ Job 40:16 "Behold now, his strength in his loins And his power in the muscles of his belly.(nasb) Job 40:16 Fortitudo ejus in lumbis ejus, et virtus illius in umbilico ventris ejus.(vulgate) Job 40:16 He aquí ahora que su fuerza [está] en sus lomos, y su vigor en el ombligo de su vientre.(E) Job 40:16 Le voici! Sa force est dans ses reins, Et sa vigueur dans les muscles de son ventre;(F) Job 40:16 Siehe seine Kraft ist in seinen Lenden und sein Vermögen in den Sehnen seines Bauches.(D) Job 40:16 ἰδοὺ δὴ ἰσχὺς αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ ὀσφύι ἡ δὲ δύναμις ἐπ᾽ ὀμφαλοῦ γαστρός(lxx) Job 40:16 See now, his strength is in his hips, And his power is in his stomach muscles.(nkjv) ======= Job 40:17 ============ Job 40:17 "He bends his tail like a cedar; The sinews of his thighs are knit together.(nasb) Job 40:17 Stringit caudam suam quasi cedrum; nervi testiculorum ejus perplexi sunt.(vulgate) Job 40:17 Su cola mueve como un cedro, y los nervios de sus genitales están entretejidos.(E) Job 40:17 Il plie sa queue aussi ferme qu'un cèdre;
