Today's Date: ======= Psalm 2:1 ============ Psa 2:1 Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing?(nasb) Psa 2:1 [Quare fremuerunt gentes, et populi meditati sunt inania?(vulgate) Salmos 2:1 ¿Por qué se amotinan las gentes, y los pueblos piensan vanidad?(E) Psaume 2:1 Pourquoi ce tumulte parmi les nations, Ces vaines pensées parmi les peuples?(F) Psa 2:1 Warum toben die Heiden, und die Völker reden so vergeblich?(D) Psa 2:1 ἵνα τί ἐφρύαξαν ἔθνη καὶ λαοὶ ἐμελέτησαν κενά(lxx) Psa 2:1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:2 ============ Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,(nasb) Psa 2:2 Astiterunt reges terræ, et principes convenerunt in unum adversus Dominum, et adversus christum ejus.(vulgate) Salmos 2:2 Se levantan los reyes de la tierra, y los príncipes consultan unidos contra Jehová y contra su ungido, diciendo:(E) Psaume 2:2 Pourquoi les rois de la terre se soulèvent-ils Et les princes se liguent-ils avec eux Contre l'Eternel et contre son oint? -(F) Psa 2:2 Die Könige der Erde lehnen sich auf, und die Herren ratschlagen miteinander wider den HERRN und seinen Gesalbten:(D) Psa 2:2 παρέστησαν οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες συνήχθησαν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ κατὰ τοῦ κυρίου καὶ κατὰ τοῦ χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ διάψαλμα(lxx) Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:3 ============ Psa 2:3 "Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!"(nasb) Psa 2:3 Dirumpamus vincula eorum, et projiciamus a nobis jugum ipsorum.(vulgate) Salmos 2:3 Rompamos sus coyundas, y echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas.(E) Psaume 2:3 Brisons leurs liens, Délivrons-nous de leurs chaînes! -(F) Psa 2:3 "Lasset uns zerreißen ihre Bande und von uns werfen ihre Seile!"(D) Psa 2:3 διαρρήξωμεν τοὺς δεσμοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπορρίψωμεν ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν τὸν ζυγὸν αὐτῶν(lxx) Psa 2:3 "Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:4 ============ Psa 2:4 He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them.(nasb) Psa 2:4 Qui habitat in cælis irridebit eos, et Dominus subsannabit eos.(vulgate) Salmos 2:4 El que mora en los cielos se reirá; el Señor se burlará de ellos.(E) Psaume 2:4 Celui qui siège dans les cieux rit, Le Seigneur se moque d'eux.(F) Psa 2:4 Aber der im Himmel wohnt, lacht ihrer, und der HERR spottet ihrer.(D) Psa 2:4 ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν οὐρανοῖς ἐκγελάσεται αὐτούς καὶ ὁ κύριος ἐκμυκτηριεῖ αὐτούς(lxx) Psa 2:4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:5 ============ Psa 2:5 Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying,(nasb) Psa 2:5 Tunc loquetur ad eos in ira sua, et in furore suo conturbabit eos.(vulgate) Salmos 2:5 Entonces hablará a ellos en su furor, y los turbará con su ira.(E) Psaume 2:5 Puis il leur parle dans sa colère, Il les épouvante dans sa fureur:(F) Psa 2:5 Er wird einst mit ihnen reden in seinem Zorn, und mit seinem Grimm wird er sie schrecken.(D) Psa 2:5 τότε λαλήσει πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἐν ὀργῇ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ θυμῷ αὐτοῦ ταράξει αὐτούς(lxx) Psa 2:5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:6 ============ Psa 2:6 "But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain."(nasb) Psa 2:6 Ego autem constitutus sum rex ab eo super Sion, montem sanctum ejus, prædicans præceptum ejus.(vulgate) Salmos 2:6 Pero yo he puesto a mi Rey sobre Sión, mi santo monte.(E) Psaume 2:6 C'est moi qui ai oint mon roi Sur Sion, ma montagne sainte!(F) Psa 2:6 "Aber ich habe meinen König eingesetzt auf meinem heiligen Berg Zion."(D) Psa 2:6 ἐγὼ δὲ κατεστάθην βασιλεὺς ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ Σιων ὄρος τὸ ἅγιον αὐτοῦ(lxx) Psa 2:6 "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:7 ============ Psa 2:7 "I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.(nasb) Psa 2:7 Dominus dixit ad me: Filius meus es tu; ego hodie genui te.(vulgate) Salmos 2:7 Yo publicaré el decreto: Jehová me ha dicho: Mi Hijo [eres] tú; yo te engendré hoy.(E) Psaume 2:7 Je publierai le décret; L'Eternel m'a dit: Tu es mon fils! Je t'ai engendré aujourd'hui.(F) Psa 2:7 Ich will von der Weisheit predigen, daß der HERR zu mir gesagt hat: "Du bist mein Sohn, heute habe ich dich gezeuget:(D) Psa 2:7 διαγγέλλων τὸ πρόσταγμα κυρίου κύριος εἶπεν πρός με υἱός μου εἶ σύ ἐγὼ σήμερον γεγέννηκά σε(lxx) Psa 2:7 "I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:8 ============ Psa 2:8 'Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.(nasb) Psa 2:8 Postula a me, et dabo tibi gentes hæreditatem tuam, et possessionem tuam terminos terræ.(vulgate) Salmos 2:8 Pídeme, y te daré por heredad las naciones, y [por] posesión tuya los confines de la tierra.(E) Psaume 2:8 Demande-moi et je te donnerai les nations pour héritage, Les extrémités de la terre pour possession;(F) Psa 2:8 heische von mir, so will ich dir Heiden zum Erbe geben und der Welt Enden zum Eigentum.(D) Psa 2:8 αἴτησαι παρ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ δώσω σοι ἔθνη τὴν κληρονομίαν σου καὶ τὴν κατάσχεσίν σου τὰ πέρατα τῆς γῆς(lxx) Psa 2:8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:9 ============ Psa 2:9 'You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.'"(nasb) Psa 2:9 Reges eos in virga ferrea, et tamquam vas figuli confringes eos.(vulgate) Salmos 2:9 Los quebrantarás con vara de hierro; como vaso de alfarero los desmenuzarás.(E) Psaume 2:9 Tu les briseras avec une verge de fer, Tu les briseras comme le vase d'un potier.(F) Psa 2:9 Du sollst sie mit einem eisernen Zepter zerschlagen; wie Töpfe sollst du sie zerschmeißen."(D) Psa 2:9 ποιμανεῖς αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥάβδῳ σιδηρᾷ ὡς σκεῦος κεραμέως συντρίψεις αὐτούς(lxx) Psa 2:9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel.' "(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:10 ============ Psa 2:10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth.(nasb) Psa 2:10 Et nunc, reges, intelligite; erudimini, qui judicatis terram.(vulgate) Salmos 2:10 Y ahora, reyes, entended: Admitid corrección, jueces de la tierra.(E) Psaume 2:10 Et maintenant, rois, conduisez-vous avec sagesse! Juges de la terre, recevez instruction!(F) Psa 2:10 So lasset euch nun weisen, ihr Könige, und lasset euch züchtigen, ihr Richter auf Erden!(D) Psa 2:10 καὶ νῦν βασιλεῖς σύνετε παιδεύθητε πάντες οἱ κρίνοντες τὴν γῆν(lxx) Psa 2:10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:11 ============ Psa 2:11 Worship the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling.(nasb) Psa 2:11 Servite Domino in timore, et exsultate ei cum tremore.(vulgate) Salmos 2:11 Servid a Jehová con temor, y alegraos con temblor.(E) Psaume 2:11 Servez l'Eternel avec crainte, Et réjouissez-vous avec tremblement.(F) Psa 2:11 Dient dem HERRN mit Furcht und freut euch mit Zittern!(D) Psa 2:11 δουλεύσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν φόβῳ καὶ ἀγαλλιᾶσθε αὐτῷ ἐν τρόμῳ(lxx) Psa 2:11 Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 2:12 ============ Psa 2:12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!(nasb) Psa 2:12 Apprehendite disciplinam, nequando irascatur Dominus, et pereatis de via justa. Cum exarserit in brevi ira ejus, beati omnes qui confidunt in eo.](vulgate) Salmos 2:12 Besad al Hijo, para que no se enoje, y perezcáis en el camino, cuando se encendiere un poco su furor. Bienaventurados todos los que en Él confían.(E) Psaume 2:12 Baisez le fils, de peur qu'il ne s'irrite, Et que vous ne périssiez dans votre voie, Car sa colère est prompte à s'enflammer. Heureux tous ceux qui se confient en lui!(F) Psa 2:12 Küßt den Sohn, daß er nicht zürne und ihr umkommt auf dem Wege; denn sein Zorn wird bald entbrennen. Aber wohl allen, die auf ihn trauen!(D) Psa 2:12 δράξασθε παιδείας μήποτε ὀργισθῇ κύριος καὶ ἀπολεῖσθε ἐξ ὁδοῦ δικαίας ὅταν ἐκκαυθῇ ἐν τάχει ὁ θυμὸς αὐτοῦ μακάριοι πάντες οἱ πεποιθότες ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ(lxx) Psa 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little.
