O Lord, God of my salvation, I have cried out day and night before You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:2 ============ Psa 88:2 Let my prayer come before You; Incline Your ear to my cry!(nas) Psa 88:2 κύριε ὁ θεὸς τῆς σωτηρίας μου ἡμέρας ἐκέκραξα καὶ ἐν νυκτὶ ἐναντίον σου (lxx) Psa 88:2 [Vulgate 87:3] ingrediatur ante te oratio mea inclina aurem tuam ad laudationem meam(vulgate) 3 ׃88 תָּב֣וֹא לְ֭פָנֶיךָ תְּפִלָּתִ֑י הַטֵּֽה־אָ֝זְנְךָ֗ לְרִנָּתִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 88:2 Laß mein Gebet vor dich kommen; neige deine Ohren zu meinem Geschrei.(dhs) Psa 88:2 Let my prayer come before You; Incline Your ear to my cry.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:3 ============ Psa 88:3 For my soul has had enough troubles, And my life has drawn near to Sheol.(nas) Psa 88:3 εἰσελθάτω ἐνώπιόν σου ἡ προσευχή μου κλῖνον τὸ οὖς σου εἰς τὴν δέησίν μου κύριε (lxx) Psa 88:3 [Vulgate 87:4] quia repleta est malis anima mea et vita mea ad infernum descendit(vulgate) 4 ׃88 כִּֽי־שָֽׂבְעָ֣ה בְרָע֣וֹת נַפְשִׁ֑י וְ֝חַיַּ֗י לִשְׁא֥וֹל הִגִּֽיעוּ׃ Psalms Psa 88:3 Denn meine Seele ist voll Jammers, und mein Leben ist nahe dem Tode.(dhs) Psa 88:3 For my soul is full of troubles, And my life draws near to the grave.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:4 ============ Psa 88:4 I am reckoned among those who go down to the pit; I have become like a man without strength,(nas) Psa 88:4 ὅτι ἐπλήσθη κακῶν ἡ ψυχή μου καὶ ἡ ζωή μου τῷ ᾅδῃ ἤγγισεν (lxx) Psa 88:4 [Vulgate 87:5] reputatus sum cum descendentibus lacum factus sum quasi homo invalidus(vulgate) 5 ׃88 נֶ֭חְשַׁבְתִּי עִם־י֣וֹרְדֵי ב֑וֹר הָ֝יִ֗יתִי כְּגֶ֣בֶר אֵֽין־אֱיָֽל׃ Psalms Psa 88:4 Ich bin geachtet gleich denen, die in die Grube fahren; ich bin ein Mann, der keine Hilfe hat.(dhs) Psa 88:4 I am counted with those who go down to the pit; I am like a man who has no strength,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:5 ============ Psa 88:5 Forsaken among the dead, Like the slain who lie in the grave, Whom You remember no more, And they are cut off from Your hand.(nas) Psa 88:5 προσελογίσθην μετὰ τῶν καταβαινόντων εἰς λάκκον ἐγενήθην ὡς ἄνθρωπος ἀβοήθητος ἐν νεκροῖς ἐλεύθερος (lxx) Psa 88:5 [Vulgate 87:6] inter mortuos liber sicut interfecti et dormientes in sepulchro quorum non recordaris amplius et qui a manu tua abscisi sunt(vulgate) 6 ׃88 בַּמֵּתִ֗ים חָ֫פְשִׁ֥י כְּמ֤וֹ חֲלָלִ֨ים ׀ שֹׁ֥כְבֵי קֶ֗בֶר אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹ֣א זְכַרְתָּ֣ם ע֑וֹד וְ֝הֵ֗מָּה מִיָּדְךָ֥ נִגְזָֽרוּ׃ Psalms Psa 88:5 Ich liege unter den Toten verlassen wie die Erschlagenen, die im Grabe liegen, deren du nicht mehr gedenkst und die von deiner Hand abgesondert sind.(dhs) Psa 88:5 Adrift among the dead, Like the slain who lie in the grave, Whom You remember no more, And who are cut off from Your hand.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:6 ============ Psa 88:6 You have put me in the lowest pit, In dark places, in the depths.(nas) Psa 88:6 ὡσεὶ τραυματίαι ἐρριμμένοι καθεύδοντες ἐν τάφῳ ὧν οὐκ ἐμνήσθης ἔτι καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐκ τῆς χειρός σου ἀπώσθησαν (lxx) Psa 88:6 [Vulgate 87:7] posuisti me in lacu novissimo in tenebris in profundis(vulgate) 7 ׃88 שַׁ֭תַּנִי בְּב֣וֹר תַּחְתִּיּ֑וֹת בְּ֝מַחֲשַׁכִּ֗ים בִּמְצֹלֽוֹת׃ Psalms Psa 88:6 Du hast mich in die Grube hinuntergelegt, in die Finsternis und in die Tiefe.(dhs) Psa 88:6 You have laid me in the lowest pit, In darkness, in the depths.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:7 ============ Psa 88:7 Your wrath has rested upon me, And You have afflicted me with all Your waves. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:8 ============ Psa 88:8 You have removed my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an object of loathing to them; I am shut up and cannot go out.(nas) Psa 88:8 ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ἐπεστηρίχθη ὁ θυμός σου καὶ πάντας τοὺς μετεωρισμούς σου ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ἐπήγαγες διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 88:8 [Vulgate 87:9] longe fecisti notos meos a me posuisti me abominationem eis clausum et non prodeuntem(vulgate) 9 ׃88 הִרְחַ֥קְתָּ מְיֻדָּעַ֗י מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי שַׁתַּ֣נִי תוֹעֵב֣וֹת לָ֑מוֹ כָּ֝לֻ֗א וְלֹ֣א אֵצֵֽא׃ Psalms Psa 88:8 Meine Freunde hast du ferne von mir getan; du hast mich ihnen zum Greuel gemacht. Ich liege gefangen und kann nicht herauskommen.(dhs) Psa 88:8 You have put away my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an abomination to them; I am shut up, and I cannot get out;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:9 ============ Psa 88:9 My eye has wasted away because of affliction; I have called upon You every day, O Lord; I have spread out my hands to You.(nas) Psa 88:9 ἐμάκρυνας τοὺς γνωστούς μου ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ ἔθεντό με βδέλυγμα ἑαυτοῖς παρεδόθην καὶ οὐκ ἐξεπορευόμην (lxx) Psa 88:9 [Vulgate 87:10] oculus meus infirmatus est ab adflictione invocavi te Domine tota die expandi ad te palmas meas(vulgate) 10 ׃88 עֵינִ֥י דָאֲבָ֗ה מִנִּ֫י עֹ֥נִי קְרָאתִ֣יךָ יְהוָ֣ה בְּכָל־י֑וֹם שִׁטַּ֖חְתִּי אֵלֶ֣יךָ כַפָּֽי׃ Psalms Psa 88:9 Meine Gestalt ist jämmerlich vor Elend. Selah.(nas) Psa 88:10 οἱ ὀφθαλμοί μου ἠσθένησαν ἀπὸ πτωχείας ἐκέκραξα πρὸς σέ κύριε ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν διεπέτασα πρὸς σὲ τὰς χεῖράς μου (lxx) Psa 88:10 [Vulgate 87:11] numquid mortuis facies mirabilia aut gigantes surgent et confitebuntur tibi semper(vulgate) 11 ׃88 הֲלַמֵּתִ֥ים תַּעֲשֶׂה־פֶּ֑לֶא אִם־רְ֝פָאִ֗ים יָק֤וּמוּ ׀ יוֹד֬וּךָ סֶּֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 88:10 Wirst du denn unter den Toten Wunder tun, oder werden die Verstorbenen aufstehen und dir danken? Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:11 ============ Psa 88:11 Will Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon?(nas) Psa 88:11 μὴ τοῖς νεκροῖς ποιήσεις θαυμάσια ἢ ἰατροὶ ἀναστήσουσιν καὶ ἐξομολογήσονταί σοι (lxx) Psa 88:11 [Vulgate 87:12] numquid narrabitur in sepulchro misericordia tua et veritas tua in perditione(vulgate) 12 ׃88 הַיְסֻפַּ֣ר בַּקֶּ֣בֶר חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ אֱ֝מֽוּנָתְךָ֗ בָּאֲבַדּֽוֹן׃ Psalms Psa 88:11 Wird man in Gräbern erzählen deine Güte, und deine Treue im Verderben?(dhs) Psa 88:11 Shall Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave? Or Your faithfulness in the place of destruction?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 88:12 ============ Psa 88:12 Will Your wonders be made known in the darkness? And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?(nas) Psa 88:12 μὴ διηγήσεταί τις ἐν τάφῳ τὸ ἔλεός σου καὶ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σου ἐν τῇ ἀπωλείᾳ (lxx) Psa 88:12 [Vulgate 87:13] numquid noscentur in tenebris mirabilia tua et iustitia tua in terra quae oblivioni tradita est(vulgate) 13 ׃88 הֲיִוָּדַ֣ע בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ פִּלְאֶ֑ךָ וְ֝צִדְקָ[t]תְךָ֗ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ נְשִׁיָּֽה׃ Psalms Psa 88:12 Mögen denn deine Wunder in der Finsternis erkannt werden oder deine Gerechtigkeit in dem Lande, da man nichts gedenkt?(dhs) Psa 88:12 Shall Your wonders be known in the dark?
