Today's Date: ======= Psalm 91:1 ============ Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.(nas) Psa 91:1 αἶνος ᾠδῆς τῷ Δαυιδ ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν βοηθείᾳ τοῦ ὑψίστου ἐν σκέπῃ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ αὐλισθήσεται (lxx) Psa 91:1 [Vulgate 90:1] qui habitat in abscondito Excelsi in umbraculo Domini commorabitur(vulgate) 1 ׃91 יֹ֭שֵׁב בְּסֵ֣תֶר עֶלְי֑וֹן בְּצֵ֥ל שַׁ֝דַּ֗י יִתְלוֹנָֽן׃ Psalms Psa 91:1 Wer unter dem Schirm des Höchsten sitzt und unter dem Schatten des Allmächtigen bleibt,(dhs) Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:2 ============ Psa 91:2 I will say to the Lord," My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!"(nas) Psa 91:2 ἐρεῖ τῷ κυρίῳ ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου εἶ καὶ καταφυγή μου ὁ θεός μου ἐλπιῶ ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν (lxx) Psa 91:2 [Vulgate 90:2] dicens Domino spes mea et fortitudo mea Deus meus confidam in eum(vulgate) 2 ׃91 אֹמַ֗ר לַֽ֭יהוָה מַחְסִ֣י וּמְצוּדָתִ֑י אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י אֶבְטַח־בּֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 91:2 der spricht zu dem HERRN: Meine Zuversicht und meine Burg, mein Gott, auf den ich hoffe.(dhs) Psa 91:2 I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:3 ============ Psa 91:3 For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence.(nas) Psa 91:3 ὅτι αὐτὸς ῥύσεταί με ἐκ παγίδος θηρευτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ λόγου ταραχώδους (lxx) Psa 91:3 [Vulgate 90:3] quia ipse liberabit te de laqueo venantium de morte insidiarum(vulgate) 3 ׃91 כִּ֤י ה֣וּא יַ֭צִּֽילְךָ מִפַּ֥ח יָק֗וּשׁ מִדֶּ֥בֶר הַוּֽוֹת׃ Psalms Psa 91:3 Denn er errettet dich vom Strick des Jägers und von der schädlichen Pestilenz.(dhs) Psa 91:3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:4 ============ Psa 91:4 He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.(nas) Psa 91:4 ἐν τοῖς μεταφρένοις αὐτοῦ ἐπισκιάσει σοι καὶ ὑπὸ τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτοῦ ἐλπιεῖς ὅπλῳ κυκλώσει σε ἡ ἀλήθεια αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 91:4 [Vulgate 90:4] in scapulis suis obumbrabit tibi et sub alis eius sperabis(vulgate) 4 ׃91 בְּאֶבְרָת֨וֹ ׀ יָ֣סֶךְ לָ֭ךְ וְתַֽחַת־כְּנָפָ֣יו תֶּחְסֶ֑ה צִנָּ֖ה וְֽסֹחֵרָ֣ה אֲמִתּֽוֹ׃ Psalms Psa 91:4 Er wird dich mit seinen Fittichen decken, und deine Zuversicht wird sein unter seinen Flügeln. Seine Wahrheit ist Schirm und Schild,(dhs) Psa 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:5 ============ Psa 91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;(nas) Psa 91:5 οὐ φοβηθήσῃ ἀπὸ φόβου νυκτερινοῦ ἀπὸ βέλους πετομένου ἡμέρας (lxx) Psa 91:5 [Vulgate 90:5] scutum et protectio veritas eius non timebis a timore nocturno(vulgate) 5 ׃91 לֹא־תִ֭ירָא מִפַּ֣חַד לָ֑יְלָה מֵ֝חֵ֗ץ יָע֥וּף יוֹמָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 91:5 daß du nicht erschrecken müssest vor dem Grauen der Nacht, vor den Pfeilen, die des Tages fliegen,(dhs) Psa 91:5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:6 ============ Psa 91:6 Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.(nas) Psa 91:6 ἀπὸ πράγματος διαπορευομένου ἐν σκότει ἀπὸ συμπτώματος καὶ δαιμονίου μεσημβρινοῦ (lxx) Psa 91:6 [Vulgate 90:6] a sagitta volante per diem a peste in tenebris ambulante a morsu insanientis meridie(vulgate) 6 ׃91 מִ֭דֶּבֶר בָּאֹ֣פֶל יַהֲלֹ֑ךְ מִ֝קֶּ֗טֶב יָשׁ֥וּד צָהֳרָֽיִם׃ Psalms Psa 91:6 vor der Pestilenz, die im Finstern schleicht, vor der Seuche, die im Mittage verderbt.(dhs) Psa 91:6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:7 ============ Psa 91:7 A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But it shall not approach you.(nas) Psa 91:7 πεσεῖται ἐκ τοῦ κλίτους σου χιλιὰς καὶ μυριὰς ἐκ δεξιῶν σου πρὸς σὲ δὲ οὐκ ἐγγιεῖ (lxx) Psa 91:7 [Vulgate 90:7] cadent a latere tuo mille et decem milia a dextris tuis ad te autem non adpropinquabit(vulgate) 7 ׃91 יִפֹּ֤ל מִצִּדְּךָ֨ ׀ אֶ֗לֶף וּרְבָבָ֥ה מִימִינֶ֑ךָ אֵ֝לֶ֗יךָ לֹ֣א יִגָּֽשׁ׃ Psalms Psa 91:7 Ob tausend fallen zu deiner Seite und zehntausend zu deiner Rechten, so wird es doch dich nicht treffen.(dhs) Psa 91:7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:8 ============ Psa 91:8 You will only look on with your eyes And see the recompense of the wicked.(nas) Psa 91:8 πλὴν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς σου κατανοήσεις καὶ ἀνταπόδοσιν ἁμαρτωλῶν ὄψῃ (lxx) Psa 91:8 [Vulgate 90:8] verumtamen oculis tuis videbis et ultionem impiorum cernes(vulgate) 8 ׃91 רַ֭ק בְּעֵינֶ֣יךָ תַבִּ֑יט וְשִׁלֻּמַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים תִּרְאֶֽה׃ Psalms Psa 91:8 Ja du wirst mit deinen Augen deine Lust sehen und schauen, wie den Gottlosen vergolten wird.(dhs) Psa 91:8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:9 ============ Psa 91:9 For you have made the Lord, my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place.(nas) Psa 91:9 ὅτι σύ κύριε ἡ ἐλπίς μου τὸν ὕψιστον ἔθου καταφυγήν σου (lxx) Psa 91:9 [Vulgate 90:9] tu enim es Domine spes mea Excelsum posuisti habitaculum tuum(vulgate) 9 ׃91 כִּֽי־אַתָּ֣ה יְהוָ֣ה מַחְסִ֑י עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן שַׂ֣מְתָּ מְעוֹנֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 91:9 Denn der HERR ist deine Zuversicht; der Höchste ist deine Zuflucht.(dhs) Psa 91:9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:10 ============ Psa 91:10 No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent.(nas) Psa 91:10 οὐ προσελεύσεται πρὸς σὲ κακά καὶ μάστιξ οὐκ ἐγγιεῖ τῷ σκηνώματί σου (lxx) Psa 91:10 [Vulgate 90:10] non accedet ad te malum et lepra non adpropinquabit tabernaculo tuo(vulgate) 10 ׃91 לֹֽא־תְאֻנֶּ֣ה אֵלֶ֣יךָ רָעָ֑ה וְ֝נֶ֗גַע לֹא־יִקְרַ֥ב בְּאָהֳלֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 91:10 Es wird dir kein Übel begegnen, und keine Plage wird zu deiner Hütte sich nahen.(dhs) Psa 91:10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:11 ============ Psa 91:11 For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.(nas) Psa 91:11 ὅτι τοῖς ἀγγέλοις αὐτοῦ ἐντελεῖται περὶ σοῦ τοῦ διαφυλάξαι σε ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς σου (lxx) Psa 91:11 [Vulgate 90:11] quia angelis suis mandabit de te ut custodiant te in omnibus viis tuis(vulgate) 11 ׃91 כִּ֣י מַ֭לְאָכָיו יְצַוֶּה־לָּ֑ךְ לִ֝שְׁמָרְךָ֗ בְּכָל־דְּרָכֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 91:11 Denn er hat seinen Engeln befohlen über dir, daß sie dich behüten auf allen deinen Wegen,(dhs) Psa 91:11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:12 ============ Psa 91:12 They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone.(nas) Psa 91:12 ἐπὶ χειρῶν ἀροῦσίν σε μήποτε προσκόψῃς πρὸς λίθον τὸν πόδα σου (lxx) Psa 91:12 [Vulgate 90:12] in manibus portabunt te ne forte offendat ad lapidem pes tuus(vulgate) 12 ׃91 עַל־כַּפַּ֥יִם יִשָּׂא֑וּנְךָ פֶּן־תִּגֹּ֖ף בָּאֶ֣בֶן רַגְלֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 91:12 daß sie dich auf Händen tragen und du deinen Fuß nicht an einen Stein stoßest.(dhs) Psa 91:12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:13 ============ Psa 91:13 You will tread upon the lion and cobra, The young lion and the serpent you will trample down.(nas) Psa 91:13 ἐπ᾽ ἀσπίδα καὶ βασιλίσκον ἐπιβήσῃ καὶ καταπατήσεις λέοντα καὶ δράκοντα (lxx) Psa 91:13 [Vulgate 90:13] super aspidem et basiliscum calcabis conculcabis leonem et draconem(vulgate) 13 ׃91 עַל־שַׁ֣חַל וָפֶ֣תֶן תִּדְרֹ֑ךְ תִּרְמֹ֖ס כְּפִ֣יר וְתַנִּֽין׃ Psalms Psa 91:13 Auf Löwen und Ottern wirst du gehen, und treten auf junge Löwen und Drachen.(dhs) Psa 91:13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:14 ============ Psa 91:14 "Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.(nas) Psa 91:14 ὅτι ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ἤλπισεν καὶ ῥύσομαι αὐτόν σκεπάσω αὐτόν ὅτι ἔγνω τὸ ὄνομά μου (lxx) Psa 91:14 [Vulgate 90:14] quoniam mihi adhesit et liberabo eum exaltabo eum quoniam cognovit nomen meum(vulgate) 14 ׃91 כִּ֤י בִ֣י חָ֭שַׁק וַאֲפַלְּטֵ֑הוּ אֲ֝שַׂגְּבֵ֗הוּ כִּֽי־יָדַ֥ע שְׁמִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 91:14 "Er begehrt mein, so will ich ihm aushelfen; er kennt meinen Namen, darum will ich ihn schützen.(dhs) Psa 91:14 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:15 ============ Psa 91:15 "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.(nas) Psa 91:15 ἐπικαλέσεταί με καὶ εἰσακούσομαι αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἰμι ἐν θλίψει καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι καὶ δοξάσω αὐτόν (lxx) Psa 91:15 [Vulgate 90:15] invocabit me et exaudiam eum cum ipso ero in tribulatione eruam eum et glorificabo(vulgate) 15 ׃91 יִקְרָאֵ֨נִי ׀ וְֽאֶעֱנֵ֗הוּ עִמּֽוֹ־אָנֹכִ֥י בְצָרָ֑ה אֲ֝חַלְּצֵ֗הוּ וַֽאֲכַבְּדֵֽהוּ׃ Psalms Psa 91:15 Er ruft mich an, so will ich ihn erhören; ich bin bei ihm in der Not; ich will ihn herausreißen und zu Ehren bringen.(dhs) Psa 91:15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 91:16 ============ Psa 91:16 "With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation.
