He who formed the eye, shall He not see?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:10 ============ Psa 94:10 He who chastens the nations, will He not rebuke, Even He who teaches man knowledge?(nas) Psa 94:10 ὁ παιδεύων ἔθνη οὐχὶ ἐλέγξει ὁ διδάσκων ἄνθρωπον γνῶσιν (lxx) Psa 94:10 [Vulgate 93:10] qui erudit gentes non arguet qui docet hominem scientiam(vulgate) 10 ׃94 הֲיֹסֵ֣ר גּ֭וֹיִם הֲלֹ֣א יוֹכִ֑יחַ הַֽמְלַמֵּ֖ד אָדָ֣ם דָּֽעַת׃ Psalms Psa 94:10 Der die Heiden züchtigt, sollte der nicht strafen, -der die Menschen lehrt, was sie wissen?(dhs) Psa 94:10 He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:11 ============ Psa 94:11 The Lord knows the thoughts of man, That they are a mere breath.(nas) Psa 94:11 κύριος γινώσκει τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων ὅτι εἰσὶν μάταιοι (lxx) Psa 94:11 [Vulgate 93:11] Dominus novit cogitationes hominum quia vanae sunt(vulgate) 11 ׃94 יְֽהוָ֗ה יֹ֭דֵעַ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת אָדָ֑ם כִּי־הֵ֥מָּה הָֽבֶל׃ Psalms Psa 94:11 Aber der HERR weiß die Gedanken der Menschen, daß sie eitel sind.(dhs) Psa 94:11 The Lord knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:12 ============ Psa 94:12 Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O Lord, And whom You teach out of Your law;(nas) Psa 94:12 μακάριος ἄνθρωπος ὃν ἂν σὺ παιδεύσῃς κύριε καὶ ἐκ τοῦ νόμου σου διδάξῃς αὐτὸν (lxx) Psa 94:12 [Vulgate 93:12] beatus vir quem erudieris Domine et de lege tua docueris eum(vulgate) 12 ׃94 אַשְׁרֵ֤י ׀ הַגֶּ֣בֶר אֲשֶׁר־תְּיַסְּרֶ֣נּוּ יָּ֑הּ וּֽמִתּוֹרָתְךָ֥ תְלַמְּדֶֽנּוּ׃ Psalms Psa 94:12 Wohl dem, den du, HERR, züchtigst und lehrst ihn durch dein Gesetz,(dhs) Psa 94:12 Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:13 ============ Psa 94:13 That You may grant him relief from the days of adversity, Until a pit is dug for the wicked.(nas) Psa 94:13 τοῦ πραῦναι αὐτῷ ἀφ᾽ ἡμερῶν πονηρῶν ἕως οὗ ὀρυγῇ τῷ ἁμαρτωλῷ βόθρος (lxx) Psa 94:13 [Vulgate 93:13] ut quiescat a diebus adflictionis donec fodiatur impio interitus(vulgate) 13 ׃94 לְהַשְׁקִ֣יט ל֭וֹ מִ֣ימֵי רָ֑ע עַ֤ד יִכָּרֶ֖ה לָרָשָׁ֣ע שָֽׁחַת׃ Psalms Psa 94:13 daß er Geduld habe, wenn's übel geht, bis dem Gottlosen die Grube bereitet werde!(dhs) Psa 94:13 That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:14 ============ Psa 94:14 For the Lord will not abandon His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.(nas) Psa 94:14 ὅτι οὐκ ἀπώσεται κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψει (lxx) Psa 94:14 [Vulgate 93:14] non enim derelinquet Dominus populum suum et hereditatem suam non deseret(vulgate) 14 ׃94 כִּ֤י ׀ לֹא־יִטֹּ֣שׁ יְהוָ֣ה עַמּ֑וֹ וְ֝נַחֲלָת֗וֹ לֹ֣א יַעֲזֹֽב׃ Psalms Psa 94:14 Denn der HERR wird sein Volk nicht verstoßen noch sein Erbe verlassen.(dhs) Psa 94:14 For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:15 ============ Psa 94:15 For judgment will again be righteous, And all the upright in heart will follow it.(nas) Psa 94:15 ἕως οὗ δικαιοσύνη ἐπιστρέψῃ εἰς κρίσιν καὶ ἐχόμενοι αὐτῆς πάντες οἱ εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 94:15 [Vulgate 93:15] quoniam ad iustitiam revertetur iudicium et sequentur illud omnes recti corde(vulgate) 15 ׃94 כִּֽי־עַד־צֶ֭דֶק יָשׁ֣וּב מִשְׁפָּ֑ט וְ֝אַחֲרָ֗יו כָּל־יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃ Psalms Psa 94:15 Denn Recht muß doch Recht bleiben, und dem werden alle frommen Herzen zufallen.(dhs) Psa 94:15 But judgment will return to righteousness, And all the upright in heart will follow it.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:16 ============ Psa 94:16 Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Who will take his stand for me against those who do wickedness?(nas) Psa 94:16 τίς ἀναστήσεταί μοι ἐπὶ πονηρευομένους ἢ τίς συμπαραστήσεταί μοι ἐπὶ ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν (lxx) Psa 94:16 [Vulgate 93:16] quis stabit pro me adversum malos quis stabit pro me adversum operarios iniquitatis(vulgate) 16 ׃94 מִֽי־יָק֣וּם לִ֭י עִם־מְרֵעִ֑ים מִֽי־יִתְיַצֵּ֥ב לִ֝י עִם־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃ Psalms Psa 94:16 Wer steht bei mir wider die Boshaften? Wer tritt zu mir wider die Übeltäter?(dhs) Psa 94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:17 ============ Psa 94:17 If the Lord had not been my help, My soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.(nas) Psa 94:17 εἰ μὴ ὅτι κύριος ἐβοήθησέν μοι παρὰ βραχὺ παρῴκησεν τῷ ᾅδῃ ἡ ψυχή μου (lxx) Psa 94:17 [Vulgate 93:17] nisi quia Dominus auxiliator meus paulo minus habitasset in inferno anima mea(vulgate) 17 ׃94 לוּלֵ֣י יְ֭הוָה עֶזְרָ֣תָה לִּ֑י כִּמְעַ֓ט ׀ שָֽׁכְנָ֖ה דוּמָ֣ה נַפְשִֽׁי׃ Psalms Psa 94:17 Wo der HERR nicht hülfe, so läge meine Seele schier in der Stille.(dhs) Psa 94:17 Unless the Lord had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:18 ============ Psa 94:18 If I should say, "My foot has slipped," Your lovingkindness, O Lord, will hold me up.(nas) Psa 94:18 εἰ ἔλεγον σεσάλευται ὁ πούς μου τὸ ἔλεός σου κύριε βοηθεῖ μοι (lxx) Psa 94:18 [Vulgate 93:18] si dicebam commotus est pes meus misericordia tua Domine sustentabat me(vulgate) 18 ׃94 אִם־אָ֭מַרְתִּי מָ֣טָה רַגְלִ֑י חַסְדְּךָ֥ יְ֝הוָ֗ה יִסְעָדֵֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 94:18 Ich sprach: Mein Fuß hat gestrauchelt; aber deine Gnade, HERR, hielt mich.(dhs) Psa 94:18 If I say, "My foot slips," Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:19 ============ Psa 94:19 When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.(nas) Psa 94:19 κύριε κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ὀδυνῶν μου ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ μου αἱ παρακλήσεις σου ἠγάπησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου (lxx) Psa 94:19 [Vulgate 93:19] in multitudine cogitationum mearum quae sunt in me intrinsecus consolationes tuae delectabunt animam meam(vulgate) 19 ׃94 בְּרֹ֣ב שַׂרְעַפַּ֣י בְּקִרְבִּ֑י תַּ֝נְחוּמֶ֗יךָ יְֽשַׁעַשְׁע֥וּ נַפְשִֽׁי׃ Psalms Psa 94:19 Ich hatte viel Bekümmernisse in meinem Herzen; aber deine Tröstungen ergötzten meine Seele.(dhs) Psa 94:19 In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:20 ============ Psa 94:20 Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree?(nas) Psa 94:20 μὴ συμπροσέσται σοι θρόνος ἀνομίας ὁ πλάσσων κόπον ἐπὶ προστάγματι (lxx) Psa 94:20 [Vulgate 93:20] numquid particeps erit tui thronus insidiarum fingens laborem in praecepto(vulgate) 20 ׃94 הַֽ֭יְחָבְרְךָ כִּסֵּ֣א הַוּ֑וֹת יֹצֵ֖ר עָמָ֣ל עֲלֵי־חֹֽק׃ Psalms Psa 94:20 Du wirst ja nimmer eins mit dem schädlichen Stuhl, der das Gesetz übel deutet.(dhs) Psa 94:20 Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:21 ============ Psa 94:21 They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death.(nas) Psa 94:21 θηρεύσουσιν ἐπὶ ψυχὴν δικαίου καὶ αἷμα ἀθῷον καταδικάσονται (lxx) Psa 94:21 [Vulgate 93:21] copulabuntur adversus animam iusti et sanguinem innocentem condemnabunt(vulgate) 21 ׃94 יָ֭גוֹדּוּ עַל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ צַדִּ֑יק וְדָ֖ם נָקִ֣י יַרְשִֽׁיעוּ׃ Psalms Psa 94:21 Sie rüsten sich gegen die Seele des Gerechten und verdammen unschuldig Blut.(dhs) Psa 94:21 They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:22 ============ Psa 94:22 But the Lord has been my stronghold, And my God the rock of my refuge.(nas) Psa 94:22 καὶ ἐγένετό μοι κύριος εἰς καταφυγὴν καὶ ὁ θεός μου εἰς βοηθὸν ἐλπίδος μου (lxx) Psa 94:22 [Vulgate 93:22] erit autem Dominus mihi in refugium et Deus meus quasi petra spei meae(vulgate) 22 ׃94 וַיְהִ֬י יְהוָ֣ה לִ֣י לְמִשְׂגָּ֑ב וֵ֝אלֹהַ֗י לְצ֣וּר מַחְסִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 94:22 Aber der HERR ist mein Schutz; mein Gott ist der Hort meiner Zuversicht.(dhs) Psa 94:22 But the Lord has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 94:23 ============ Psa 94:23 He has brought back their wickedness upon them And will destroy them in their evil; The Lord our God will destroy them.(nas) Psa 94:23 καὶ ἀποδώσει αὐτοῖς τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτῶν καὶ κατὰ τὴν πονηρίαν αὐτῶν ἀφανιεῖ αὐτοὺς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν (lxx) Psa 94:23 [Vulgate 93:23] et restitues super eos iniquitatem suam et in malitia sua perdes eos perdet eos Dominus Deus noster(vulgate) 23 ׃94 וַיָּ֤שֶׁב עֲלֵיהֶ֨ם ׀ אֶת־אוֹנָ֗ם וּבְרָעָתָ֥ם יַצְמִיתֵ֑ם יַ֝צְמִיתֵ֗ם יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ Psalms Psa 94:23 Und er wird ihnen ihr Unrecht vergelten und wird sie um ihre Bosheit vertilgen; der HERR, unser Gott, wird sie vertilgen.(dhs) Psa 94:23 He has brought on them their own iniquity, And shall cut them off in their own wickedness; The Lord our God shall cut them off.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 95:1 ============ top of the page
