mendicabit ergo æstate, et non dabitur illi.(vulgate) 4 ׃20 מֵ֭חֹרֶף עָצֵ֣ל לֹא־יַחֲרֹ֑שׁ *ישאל **וְשָׁאַ֖ל בַּקָּצִ֣יר וָאָֽיִן׃ Proverbs Pro 20:4 Um der Kälte willen will der Faule nicht pflügen; so muß er in der Ernte betteln und nichts kriegen.(dhs) Pro 20:4 The lazy man will not plow because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 20:5 ============ Pro 20:5 A plan in the heart of a man is like deep water, But a man of understanding draws it out.(nas) Pro 20:5 ὕδωρ βαθὺ βουλὴ ἐν καρδίᾳ ἀνδρός ἀνὴρ δὲ φρόνιμος ἐξαντλήσει αὐτήν (lxx) Pro 20:5 Sicut aqua profunda, sic consilium in corde viri; Welcher Mensch versteht seinen Weg?(dhs) Pro 20:24 A man's steps are of the Lord; How then can a man understand his own way?(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 20:25 ============ Pro 20:25 It is a trap for a man to say rashly, "It is holy!"
